THE DAILY DEVOTION for Tuesday, September 1, 2026 Acts 1:8… "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and as far as the remotest part of the earth." Empowered for the Journey When Jesus stood with His disciples just before ascending into heaven, He gave them a final, defining promise: "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses." It is easy to read those words and feel a sense of inadequacy. We look at our own frailties, fears, and shortcomings, wondering how we could ever effectively represent a holy God. But the beauty of Acts 1:8 is that the mission never depended on human capability. Jesus did not tell His followers to work up their own courage or polish their speaking skills. Instead, He pointed them to a supernatural source. He promised the Holy Spirit would infuse them with divine power, turning ordinary, hesitant people into bold witnesses. That same power is available to us today. We are not called to navigate our faith quietly or rely on our own strength. Whether we are sharing our faith across the globe or simply showing kindness to a neighbor down the street, the Holy Spirit equips us from within. He gives us the courage to speak up when we want to stay silent and the grace to love when it feels difficult. As we lean on Him, our everyday routines become a canvas for His kingdom, proving that God delights in using ordinary lives to accomplish extraordinary things. Three Key Spiritual Truths We Can Glean from Acts 1:8 1. Empowered by God: Spiritual impact does not come from our own willpower or talent, but entirely through the supernatural strength provided by the Holy Spirit. 2. Called to Witness: Every believer has a distinct calling to bear witness to Christ's love, grace, and truth in the world around them. 3. Starts Right Where We Are: Witnessing is not just for distant missionaries; it begins in our immediate circles and expands outward as God opens doors. "Without the Holy Spirit, there is no life. Lifeline Today Tuesday September 1 Keep Focus! "Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions." Proverbs 4:25 (MSG) Keep focus! Don’t be distracted! Faith without focus is frustration. Prayer without focus is paralysis. Fasting without focus is failure. At the root of every advancement is focus. It is focus that will direct your talent and your gifts. It is your level of focus that will determine your level of placement as no great destiny emerges without focus. Focus means to be totally committed or absorbed in a specific assignment. It is the ability to gaze unwaveringly into every issue at hand without distractions. Focus does not come naturally, yet it is essential for anyone who wants to fulfill his or her life assignment. Talent with focus directs you and this has the potential to take you far. Focus creates the platform for manifestation and manifestation makes you a centre of attraction which compels attention in your favour. Happy new month. This is your day. Wisdom Fountain: “Scattered energy does nothing. Focused energy creates results.” Prayer: Everlasting Father, thank You for the gift of work and the skills You have given me. I declare total quietness from any noise that may come around me or inside my head. I receive a calm spirit and a clear mind to handle every task in front of me. Our Sewing Center is a place where we teach sewing skills to girls and women, especially those from needy families and widows. We want to help them learn a practical skill so they can become more independent and support themselves and their families. When the girls get married, we bless them by providing them with a sewing machine so they can continue using their skills to earn a living. We also support widows by teaching them sewing and providing them with food packages every month through the support we receive from people who care about this ministry. Through this Sewing Center, we are not only teaching a skill but also sharing the love of Jesus Christ by helping families build a better and more hopeful future.

THE TRUTH ABOUT THE RAPTURE WANTING TO BE TEACHERS, BUT NEED TO BE TAUGHT. Hebrews 5 : 12-14 [12] For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. Many so-called preachers call themselves teachers, but have need of to be taught God's Word.They need the milk of the Gospel to understand God. Because they have not been taught God's Word to understand the Gospel from the perspective of God's Word. [13] For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. Those so-called preachers can only give you The Gospel (Milk) because they do not know God's Word. They are unskilled in what God has said.You are listening to baby talk. [14] But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Strong meat is the whole counsel of God's Word and the ability to teach it! Only those who have learned the whole counsel of God's Word have the skills to speak with certainty of what is right and what is wrong When it comes to The Rapture this is the case. Those who are babes want to keep everyone in fear. Teaching that the Lord can come anytime and sound a trumpet. This is not the truth of God's Word. 1 Thessalonians 4 : 15-17 [15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. [16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: [17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. This is The Rapture, it is the day when The Lord Jesus Christ will come for His Church. It is a day that cannot happen any day. This day has a set time to occur. A set day already determined by God's Word. This is the difference between milk and meat of God's Word. On this day, it does not say trumpet sounding. It says, with The Trump of God, The Lord will descend with a shout. It will probably sound like thunder this shout. It does not say with a sound of a trumpet. The Trump of God refers to a certain day. Leviticus 23 : 23-24 [23] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, [24] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. In God's Word this is the day of The Feast of Trumpets. A Holy Day God commanded The Israelites to keep every year. In Leviticus 23, God lists His Feast Days. The word Feasts in Hebrew can also be translated as Set Times. The Lord's Set Times. The Lord's Set Times are these: Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles. Each of these Set Times was a certain day to be fulfilled by THE LORD HIMSELF. The first four were fulfilled by THE LORD HIMSELF in one year, 33 AD on their specific day that year. These Set days were types of what The Lord was to do in the redemption of mankind. Salvation is the work of THE LORD only. When THE LORD JESUS CHRIST comes for His Church it will be on this day, the day of The Feast of Trumpets. To fulfill the type in the Old Testament. This is why Paul says, with The Trump of God. He is coming on this day some year to fulfill this type or shadow that He said back in the Old Testament just like the ones He fulfilled in 33 AD The Feast of Trumpets is the next on the list to be fulfilled. Whatever day that is this year look for Him then. If He does not come, then we have a whole year to wait for Him to come and fulfill that day next year. Do not let these so-called preachers and teachers keep you in fear that The Lord can come at any time, they just want to keep you in fear and their control. Who The Son sets free is free indeed. Live your life and watch for The Lord's return because we that are awake and are not walking in darkness know the time of His Coming. This is the meat of God's Word concerning The Rapture. By the way, the Feast of Trumpets is September 11, 2026, also known as Rosh Hashanah.

SATURDAY 29TH AUGUST 2026 IGNITE YOUTH DEVOTIONAL Topic: Do Not Give Up on Your Dream Bible Reference Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9 (NIV) A Short Story Esther had always loved fashion. Even as a teenager, she enjoyed drawing clothing designs in her notebooks and helping her friends choose what to wear. After completing her education, she decided that she wanted to build a fashion business. She believed that it was something she could become good at and that it could eventually provide a source of income for her and her family. However, the beginning was not easy. Esther did not have enough money to buy all the equipment she wanted. She started with a small sewing machine and worked from a corner of her mother's house. Her first few customers were people she knew, but some of them complained about her work. One customer refused to pay the full amount because she was not satisfied with the finishing. Esther became discouraged. She began to wonder whether she had made a mistake by choosing fashion. She saw other young designers on social media displaying beautiful shops, expensive machines, and large numbers of customers. Compared with them, her business looked very small. One afternoon, after another difficult week, Esther told her friend Sharon that she was thinking about giving up. Sharon listened and then asked her, What if you are not failing? What if you are simply still learning? That question changed Esther's thinking. She realised that she had expected success to come quickly. She had forgotten that every skilled person had once been a beginner. Instead of quitting, Esther began looking for ways to improve. She watched tutorials, asked experienced designers questions, practised every day, and listened carefully to customer complaints. She stopped using other people's success to measure her own progress. The business did not become successful overnight. Esther still had difficult months, but she kept improving. With time, her work became better, her customers became more satisfied, and more people began recommending her. Years later, Esther looked back at the little corner where she had started. She realised that the biggest decision she had made was not buying better equipment or getting her first major customer. It was choosing not to quit when things became difficult. Today's Message Many young people have dreams, but not everyone has the patience to keep working when the dream becomes difficult. You may have a business idea, a career goal, a ministry vision, a desire to write a book, a plan to learn a skill, or a dream of becoming financially independent. You may begin with excitement, but after a few disappointments, you may start wondering whether you should stop. Failure can make you question yourself. Rejection can make you feel unqualified. Slow progress can make you believe that nothing is happening. Seeing other people succeed faster can make you feel like giving up. But slow progress does not mean that your dream is dead. Galatians 6:9 tells us not to become weary in doing good because there is a proper time for harvest. The verse does not promise that everything will happen immediately. It reminds us that persistence matters. Sometimes you are closer to a breakthrough than you realise, but you stop because you become tired. Think about a farmer. After planting a seed, the farmer does not dig it up every morning to check whether it is growing. He waters it, protects it, and gives it time. Growth takes place even when he cannot see it immediately. Your life can be like that. You may be studying today without seeing the result yet. You may be learning a skill without earning much money yet. You may be building a business without having many customers yet. You may be serving God without seeing the impact yet. You may be working on yourself without seeing the changes immediately. Keep going. However, refusing to give up does not mean refusing to change your approach. Sometimes the dream is good, but your method is wrong. If something is not working, learn, adjust, and try again. Ask questions. Improve your skills. Seek advice. Correct your mistakes. Persistence is not stubbornness. Persistence means continuing toward a worthwhile goal while being willing to learn and improve along the way. You also need to stop comparing your beginning with somebody else's middle. You may see someone who has already built a successful business, written several books, established a ministry, or achieved financial stability. Remember that you may not know how many years that person spent learning and struggling before the results became visible. Do not despise your small beginning. Your first business may be small. Your first sermon may be imperfect. Your first book may not sell many copies. Your first job may not be your dream job. Your first attempt at something may fail. That does not mean you should stop. Learn from it and continue. There will be days when you feel motivated and days when you do not. Discipline becomes important when motivation disappears. You cannot build your future based only on how you feel each morning. Some days, you will have to keep working because you have already decided that the goal is worth pursuing. At the same time, remember that not every dream must be pursued forever. If God redirects you, if you discover that your plans are wrong, or if wise counsel shows you that you need to take a different path, be willing to adjust. Giving up on one plan is not the same as giving up on your purpose. What matters is that you continue moving toward the life God wants you to build. Do not let one failure become the final chapter of your story. You may have failed an examination. You may have lost a job. Your business may have failed. Someone may have rejected you. A relationship may have ended. An opportunity may have passed you by. Learn from it. Get up. Pray again. Plan again. Try again. Your present difficulty does not have to determine your final outcome. What To Do Today 1. Write down one important goal you have almost given up on. 2. Identify the main reason you became discouraged and decide what you can do differently. 3. Take one practical step toward that goal today, even if the step is small. 4. Ask a mature and trustworthy person for advice on how you can improve. Prayer Lord, give me strength when I become tired and discouraged. Help me not to abandon the good things You have placed in my heart simply because they are taking time. Give me wisdom to learn from my mistakes, courage to try again, and discipline to keep working. If You need to redirect my plans, help me recognise Your direction. But where You have called me to continue, give me grace not to give up. In Jesus' name, Amen. *TODAY'S PROPHETIC DECLARATION - FRIDAY, 28TH AUGUST, 2026.* 🌟*GOD WILL MULTIPLY WHAT YOU PLACE IN HIS HANDS*🌟 📖 Scripture: “And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all. And they did all eat, and were filled.” — Mark 6:41–42 (KJV). 🔥*Reflection – Little in Your Hands, Much in God's Hands* The feeding of the five thousand is one of the powerful demonstrations of Jesus' compassion and divine provision. The disciples saw the multitude and focused on what they did not have. But Jesus took the little that was available—five loaves and two fish—gave thanks, blessed it, and multiplied it. The miracle teaches us an important lesson: God is not limited by the size of what we have. Sometimes we look at our resources, abilities, finances, knowledge, connections, or opportunities and say, “This is not enough.” But when what we have is surrendered to God, He can use it beyond our natural capacity. Notice also that Jesus gave thanks before the multiplication was fully visible. Gratitude is an expression of faith. It recognizes that God is able to do much with what appears small. Today, don't despise what is already in your hands. Give it to God. Your little may become enough. Your enough may become more than enough. And your testimony may become a blessing to many. 🔊*Prophetic Declaration:* Today, I declare that the God of supernatural provision is at work in my life. I refuse to be controlled by the fear of insufficiency because my source is the Almighty God. GIVING TO GOD: A MATTER OF FAITH, LOVE, AND RESPONSIBILITY Good morning, dear brothers and sisters! 🙏🏾❤️ Every morning that God gives us the breath of life is already a reason to say, “Thank You, Lord!” We should never take life for granted or assume that it is automatic or guaranteed. “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24 The Bible teaches us that giving to God and supporting His work should be done with love, faith, freedom, and a sincere heart—not under pressure or manipulation. 1. GOD LOOKS FIRST AT THE HEART ❤️ Jesus taught that it is not necessarily the amount we give that matters most, but the heart with which we give. In Mark 12:41–44, Jesus observed a poor widow who placed two small coins into the Temple treasury. In the eyes of people, her offering was very small. But Jesus explained that she had given sincerely, according to what she had. This teaches us an important truth: God does not ask a person who has nothing to give what they do not have. He looks at faith, sincerity, and the condition of the heart. 2. THE BIBLE ENCOURAGES GENEROSITY—NOT PRESSURE 2 Corinthians 9:7 says: “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” This is a fundamental Christian principle. A pastor, evangelist, or church may honestly explain the needs of the ministry, present projects, and invite people to participate. But no one should manipulate people's consciences by saying, for example: “If you don't give, God will punish you.” Christian generosity should be free, voluntary, joyful, and motivated by love. ❤️ 3. THE TITHE IN THE BIBLE Tithing appears clearly in the Old Testament, particularly in Malachi 3:10, where it was part of Israel's religious system. In the New Testament, Jesus also speaks about tithing, including in Matthew 23:23, while emphasizing the greater matters of justice, mercy, and faithfulness. Therefore, we should never turn the tithe into a tool of pressure or a magical formula for receiving God's blessings. Giving is not buying God's blessing. God is not a businessman, and an offering is not a payment intended to force God to give us something in return. 4. WHAT SHOULD A PERSON DO IF THEY HAVE NOTHING? A person who has very little should never be humiliated because they cannot give financially. They can serve God in many other ways: 🙏🏾 Through prayer ⏰ Through their time 💡 Through their skills 🤝 Through their work 📖 Through evangelism ❤️ Through encouragement 🫂 Through helping others 🏠 Through hospitality 🗣️ Through their testimony Jesus never taught that the value of a Christian depends on how much money they give. Your value before God is not measured by the size of your wallet. ❤️ 5. HOW CAN A MAN OF GOD SUPPORT HIS MINISTRY? This is where we need balance and wisdom. A servant of God can honestly present the needs of his ministry, such as: Evangelism and outreach Renting or building a place of worship Audio and video equipment Transportation Helping widows Supporting orphans Youth programs Community development and other ministry activities Then he can invite those who are able to participate voluntarily and according to their means. The Bible also teaches that those who proclaim the Gospel may receive support through the work they do (1 Corinthians 9:13–14). But a servant of God must also practice transparency and integrity. When donations are received, there should be accountability regarding how the funds are used. Proper records should be maintained, and personal finances should not be carelessly mixed with ministry funds. 6. OUR RESPONSIBILITY TOWARD WIDOWS AND VULNERABLE PEOPLE The Bible places great importance on widows, orphans, the poor, and vulnerable people. James 1:27 reminds us that pure and genuine religion includes caring for orphans and widows in their distress. Therefore, when a church or ministry receives resources, it should not think only about buildings and equipment. It should also ask: “How can we use what God has entrusted to us to help people who are suffering?” 7. AN INVITATION WITHOUT PRESSURE 🙏🏾❤️ To everyone who desires to support a Christian ministry: If God has blessed you with resources and you feel led to support the Gospel, you are welcome to contribute freely and joyfully. You can give financially, materially, through your time, your skills, or your prayers. But if you are personally going through a difficult season and cannot give financially, please do not feel guilty. Your prayers matter. Your encouragement matters. Your presence matters. Your faith matters. Your worth before God does not depend on your ability to give money. ❤️ CONCLUSION Our goal is not to take people's money. Our goal is to serve God, proclaim the Gospel, build a lasting ministry, and bring hope and practical help to people in need. I desire to develop my ministry, reach more people with the Gospel, build a sustainable work, and especially support widows, orphans, and vulnerable people. But I want to do this with truth, integrity, transparency, accountability, and without pressure. To those who are able to support this vision: Thank you for your love, generosity, and partnership. 🙏🏾❤️ To those who cannot give financially: Thank you as well for your prayers, your presence, your encouragement, and your faith. 😊🙏🏾 May everything we do be done with love, transparency, wisdom, and respect, so that God may be glorified. “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” — 2 Corinthians 9:7 🙏🏾❤️ May God bless every family, every donor, every supporter, and every person who serves His work with a sincere heart. IN SUMMARY You can ask people to support your ministry, but present a clear vision, genuine needs, and honest goals. Allow everyone to decide freely. Be accountable for how funds are used, and never make people believe that they will be cursed, rejected by God, or condemned simply because they do not have money to give. ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: EXODUS 4:2 (NKJV) So the LORD said to him, ‘What is that in your hand?’ He said, ‘A rod.’” — Devotional message: When God called Moses to deliver the children of Israel from Egypt, Moses felt inadequate for the assignment. Yet God did not begin by asking Moses what he lacked. Instead, He asked him a profound question:What is that in your hand?” God used something Moses already possessed—a rod—to demonstrate His power and accomplish His purposes. This teaches us that God often uses what He has already placed within us and entrusted to us: gifts, talents, skills, experiences, resources, opportunities, and abilities. What we consider ordinary may become extraordinary when surrendered to God. Moses had a rod. David had a sling. The widow had a little oil. A young boy had five loaves and two fish. What appeared insignificant in human eyes became significant when placed in God's hands. Therefore, do not despise what God has already entrusted to you.Identify your gifts.Develop your skills.Sharpen your abilities.Grow in your calling.Increase your knowledge.And, above all, surrender what you have to God. The gift may be in you, but the grace and power to use it effectively come from God. Your responsibility is to recognize what He has entrusted to you, develop it faithfully, and put it to work for His glory. Your limitation is not necessarily the absence of resources; sometimes it is the failure to recognize and steward what God has already given you. Therefore, stop looking around and despising your portion. Stop comparing your beginning with someone else's harvest. Ask God to open your eyes to see what He has already deposited in you and give you wisdom to develop it.
