• Let's talk about it.
Babylon is not presented as openly pagan. She is presented as a counterfeit.

The high priest wore gold, blue, purple, and scarlet (Exodus 28:5–6). The woman of Revelation wears purple and scarlet, and is adorned with gold and precious stones (Revelation 17:4). The resemblance is striking. She carries the appearance of sacred authority.

But one colour is missing: blue.

In Scripture, blue was associated with remembering and doing the commandments of God (Numbers 15:38–40). That makes the point powerful. Babylon may look rich, holy, and authoritative, but she lacks the colour connected with loyalty to God’s law.

This is how false religion works. It borrows the outward appearance of truth while denying the authority of God’s word. It keeps the splendour, the ceremony, and the religious claims—but removes obedience.

God is not looking for a religion that merely looks sacred. He is calling for a people who truly honour Him by keeping His commandments and the faith of Jesus (Revelation 14:12).

The issue at the end is not whether a system appears holy. The issue is whether it stands in obedience to the law of God.

  • PRAYER TO RESIST AND DESTROY EVIL ALTERS
Heavenly Father, I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You are the Most High God, the Creator of heaven and earth. Your Word says in Psalm 91:2, "I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust." Right now, I stand on the rock of Your truth to break, resist, and destroy every evil altar speaking against my life, my family, my community, and my ministry.
    1. Renouncing and Resisting Evil Voices
The Scripture: "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord..." (Isaiah 54:17).
The Prayer: Lord, I silence every evil altar speaking failure, sickness, confusion, and delay into my life and community. I command every demonic voice crying out from hidden altars of darkness to be silenced by the blood of Jesus. I refuse to agree with any word or decree sent from an evil altar.
    2. Pulling Down Demonic Strongholds
The Scripture: "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;" (2 Corinthians 10:4).
The Prayer: Father, by Your Holy Spirit, I release the fire of God to dismantle every foundational and territorial evil altar fighting my progress. I pull down every stronghold of generational curses, witchcraft, and ancestral worship that has tied down my family, my church, and my city. Let the horns of the wicked be broken right now in Jesus' name.
    3. Destroying and Burning Evil Altars
The Scripture: "But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire." (Deuteronomy 7:5).
The Prayer: O Lord, send Your consuming fire to burn to ashes every satanic altar erected against my ministry and community. I decree that every covenant and sacrifice speaking against my destiny is nullified by the blood of Jesus. Every priest of darkness ministering at evil altars against my life is dethroned and disgraced today.
    4. Claiming Ultimate Victory and Freedom
The Scripture: "And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." (2 Timothy 4:18).
The Prayer: Thank You, Lord, because I am victorious. My life, my community, and my ministry are hidden in Christ. I walk in total freedom, divine protection, and unhindered breakthrough from this day forward. In Jesus' mighty name, I pray. Amen

  • THE MISSING PIECE

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” —John 3:16

Jesus’ retreat to the Garden of Gethsemane began a bad stretch of time for the Apostle Peter. First, he fell asleep on his watch after Jesus asked him to stay alert. Second, according to John 18:10, when Jesus’ enemies came to arrest Him, “Then Simon Peter drew a sword and slashed off the right ear of Malchus, the high priest’s slave” (NLT). And then, later that same night, when he was recognized as one of Jesus’ followers, Peter denied even knowing Jesus—not once, not twice, but three times.

Can you identify with a guy like that? I know that it’s sometimes hard to imagine what God is up to in your life. You see a blank canvas, but God sees a finished painting. You see a piece of coal, but God sees a refined diamond. You see an untalented person, but God sees a mighty man or woman of God.

This is also true of those we see in Scripture. We see an impetuous, impulsive Simon, but God sees a strong, decisive Apostle named Peter. We see a conniving, manipulative Jacob, but God sees a godly, trusting man named Israel. We see a young, naïve Joseph, but the Lord sees a brilliant, wise world leader. And when it was all said and done, Joseph was able to look back and say to his brothers, “You meant evil against me; but God meant it for good” (Genesis 50:20 NKJV). He recognized that God used what happened to him to mold him into a compassionate, forgiving leader of many. He was clay in the Potter’s hands. He trusted in the Lord.

God specializes in making something out of nothing. I wonder what He’s doing with you right now. You’re a work in progress, and He isn’t finished yet. If you’re still alive and reading this, God has more work to do in your life! Most artists don’t like someone looking over their shoulders, trying to second-guess what they’re about to do. “Wait until I’m done,” they’ll say, “and then you’ll see.”

So, trust in the Lord during those times when it’s hard to see what He’s doing. Don’t allow the hardships you face to make you a bitter person. It’s time to let go of that. Rather, allow them to make you a better person.

Isaiah 64:4 says, “For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait for him!” (NLT).

That night in Gethsemane was hardly the end of Peter’s story. After Jesus rose from the grave and ascended back to Heaven, Peter became one of the key leaders of the early Christian church, boldly proclaiming the gospel throughout the Roman Empire and beyond.

No matter what your past is like, and no matter where you are in your Christian journey, God has something important planned for you.

    God bless you!

  • Sts. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus

St. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus were very prominent Jews and were members of the supreme Jewish Council called Sanhedrin.

Mathew called Joseph as a rich man and Luke called him as a good and upright man. Even though Joseph was a very important Jewish leader, he believed in the coming kingdom of God and started believing that Jesus might be the Messiah. Luke calls him a good and upright man. After the death of Jesus on the cross at Golgotha, Joseph courageously met Pilate, the Procurator of Judea, in person and asked him the body of Jesus. Pilate also ordered to handover the body of Jesus to Joseph, after confirming from the guards that Jesus died on the cross. Joseph then wrapped the body of Jesus with 100 pounds of myrrh and aloes brought by Nicodemus, in fine linen and buried in a cave tomb hewn for him. Nicodemus helped Joseph in all these activities and he only brought the myrrh and aloes to anoint Jesus. Joseph and Nicodemus have given an honorable burial to Jesus following the Jewish burial procedure. Nicodemus was a secret disciple of Jesus and he came to Jesus one night to listen to His teachings and praised Jesus Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God; for no man can do these miracles you have done (John 3: 2). When the Chief priest sent guards to arrest Jesus, they did not brought Jesus. When the Chief Priests and the Pharisees condemned the officers who have said no one talked like Him (Jesus), they cursed them. But Nicodemus told them whether our laws judge anyone before hearing what had happened (John\-7:45\-51). Nicodemus made this comment naturally in support of Jesus.

St. Joseph of Arimathea is the patron saint of Funeral Directors and Pallbearers.

WHY DOES REVELATION POINT TO ROME AS BABYLON—AND WHAT DEADLY “WINE” IS INTOXICATING THE WORLD?

“Babylon… made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” — Revelation 14:8

    John saw something terrifying:

A WOMAN WITH A GOLDEN CUP.
    KINGS UNITED WITH HER.
    NATIONS DRINKING.
    A WORLD INTOXICATED.

    Revelation 17:1–6

This is not merely about ancient Rome.

It is about WORSHIP. AUTHORITY. DECEPTION. CONSCIENCE.

    And ultimately—

CHRIST OR HUMAN AUTHORITY: WHO WILL RULE THE HEART?

Before pointing at Babylon, therefore, ask:

IS ANYTHING IN HER CUP ALREADY IN MINE?
    ---

① THE WOMAN—RELIGION THAT BECAME UNFAITHFUL TO CHRIST

A pure woman symbolizes God's faithful people.

“I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.” — Jeremiah 6:2

But Revelation 17 shows a harlot.

    Why?

    Because she still appears religious—

yet has become unfaithful to her rightful Husband.

“MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT.” — Revelation 17:5

Babylon is therefore not merely irreligion.

    It is something more deceptive:

RELIGION WITHOUT FAITHFULNESS TO CHRIST AND HIS WORD.

The greatest danger may not be rejecting the Bible—

but using the Bible while placing another authority above it.
    ---

② WHY ROME?—FOLLOW THE PROPHETIC MARKERS

Revelation does not ask us to guess.

The woman sits upon seven mountains. — Revelation 17:9

She is connected with the city that “reigneth over the kings of the earth.” — Revelation 17:18

In John's day, that ruling city was Rome.

Daniel had already foretold a power arising from the Roman world that would:

    SPEAK GREAT WORDS.
    PERSECUTE THE SAINTS.
THINK TO CHANGE TIMES AND LAW.

    Daniel 7:23–25

Revelation 13 continues the same prophetic pattern.

This is why historic Protestant interpreters identified papal Rome as a central fulfillment of these prophecies.

    But notice carefully:

PROPHECY IDENTIFIES A SYSTEM—NOT EVERY PERSON WITHIN IT.

    For God Himself says:

“Come out of her, MY PEOPLE.” — Revelation 18:4

CHRIST HAS PEOPLE EVEN WHERE ERROR EXISTS.
    ---

③ HER FORNICATION—WHEN THE BRIDE REACHES FOR CAESAR

Why does God call it fornication?

Because the church belongs to one Husband.

“I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 11:2

    Yet Babylon joins herself to:

“The kings of the earth.” — Revelation 17:2

    Here lies the prophetic tragedy:

THE BRIDE REACHES FOR CAESAR WHEN SHE SHOULD CLING TO CHRIST.

Religion seeks government power to accomplish what Christ entrusted to truth and the Holy Spirit.

Ellen White warns that when churches seek civil power to enforce religious observances, the principles of the prophetic image to the beast are reproduced. — The Great Controversy, p. 445

    Jesus declared:

“My kingdom is not of this world.” — John 18:36

    CHRIST WINS CONSCIENCES.
    BABYLON SEEKS TO CONTROL THEM.
    ---

④ THE WINE—ERROR THAT MAKES CROOKED THINGS LOOK STRAIGHT

    Why wine?

    Because intoxication does something frightening:

    IT DISTORTS PERCEPTION.

A drunken man can feel perfectly confident—

    while walking crooked.

    So can a religious person.

“A golden cup in her hand full of abominations.” — Revelation 17:4

Ellen White identifies this intoxicating cup with the false doctrines Babylon has received and communicated to the world. — The Great Controversy, p. 388

    Here is the warning:

THE CUP IS GOLDEN—BUT GOLD DOES NOT PURIFY WHAT IS INSIDE.

    Falsehood rarely conquers by announcing:

    “I am false.”

    It comes dressed as—

    TRADITION.
    AUTHORITY.
    ANTIQUITY.
    POPULARITY.
    RELIGION.

    Therefore:

“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:21

NEVER CONFUSE AN ANCIENT BELIEF WITH AN INSPIRED BELIEF.
    ---

⑤ FIRST INTOXICATION—TRADITION ABOVE “IT IS WRITTEN”

    Jesus exposed this danger directly:

“Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition.” — Mark 7:13

    That is Babylon's operating principle:

MAN'S WORD WHERE GOD'S WORD SHOULD RULE.

Jesus defeated Satan three times with:

“IT IS WRITTEN.” — Matthew 4:4,7,10

That must become our foundation too.

    Not—

    “My church teaches it.”

    “My family always believed it.”

    “Millions cannot be wrong.”

    But:

    “WHAT IS WRITTEN?”

“To the law and to the testimony.” — Isaiah 8:20

FAITH DOES NOT ASK TRADITION FOR PERMISSION TO OBEY GOD.
    ---

⑥ THE OLD WINE—“YE SHALL NOT SURELY DIE”

The first doctrinal contradiction in Scripture came from the serpent.

    God said:

“Thou shalt surely die.” — Genesis 2:17

    Satan answered:

“Ye shall not surely die.” — Genesis 3:4

    Scripture still declares:

“The dead know not any thing.” — Ecclesiastes 9:5

“The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” — Ezekiel 18:4

Why does this matter in the last days?

    Because Revelation predicts supernatural deception.

“Spirits of devils, working miracles.” — Revelation 16:14

If Satan can impersonate the dead—

a false doctrine about death can become a doorway for a false supernatural experience.

THE SERPENT'S FIRST LIE MAY HELP PREPARE THE WORLD FOR HIS FINAL DECEPTION.

    Our safety?

“Thy word have I hid in mine heart.” — Psalm 119:11
    ---

⑦ THE GREAT QUESTION—WHO HAS AUTHORITY TO DEFINE WORSHIP?

    God sanctified the seventh day.

    Genesis 2:2–3

    God wrote:

“The seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God.” — Exodus 20:10

    Jesus declared:

“The Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.” — Mark 2:28

Revelation's final crisis is unmistakably about worship.

“Worship Him that made heaven, and earth.” — Revelation 14:7

    versus:

“If any man worship the beast and his image…” — Revelation 14:9

Then Heaven points to the faithful:

“Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” — Revelation 14:12

So the deepest Sabbath question is not merely:

    WHICH DAY?

    It is:

    WHO IS LORD?

    If Jesus is Lord—

His Word outranks every human tradition.
    ---

⑧ THE MOST DANGEROUS WINE—ANYTHING THAT OBSCURES CHRIST

At Babylon's deepest level, the issue is not merely a collection of incorrect doctrines.

It is another authority standing where Christ belongs.

    Scripture declares:

“There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” — 1 Timothy 2:5

“Neither is there salvation in any other.” — Acts 4:12

No human priesthood can replace His mediation.

No human merit can supplement His sacrifice.

No human authority can outrank His Word.

    CHRIST IS ENOUGH.

    CHRIST OUR SACRIFICE.
    CHRIST OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
    CHRIST OUR HIGH PRIEST.
    CHRIST OUR MEDIATOR.
    CHRIST OUR SAVIOR.

“We have a great high priest… Jesus the Son of God.” — Hebrews 4:14

THE MORE CLEARLY CHRIST IS SEEN, THE LESS ROOM REMAINS FOR COUNTERFEITS.

⑨ WHY DO KINGS DRINK?—BECAUSE ERROR EVENTUALLY WANTS POWER

Babylon's wine does not remain inside a church.

    Revelation shows a terrifying progression:

    ERROR BECOMES ALLIANCE.
    ALLIANCE BECOMES LEGISLATION.
    LEGISLATION BECOMES PRESSURE.
    PRESSURE BECOMES COERCED WORSHIP.

“No man might buy or sell…” — Revelation 13:17

    Finally:

“Cause that as many as would not worship… should be killed.” — Revelation 13:15

But Jesus never forced a conscience.

    He said:

“If any man will come after Me…” — Matthew 16:24

    And:

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock.” — Revelation 3:20

    Notice the difference:

    **JESUS KNOCKS.

    BABYLON COMPELS.**

TRUTH NEEDS NO SWORD TO MAKE IT TRUE.

    ---

⑩ WHY DOES THE WORLD BECOME DRUNK?—SINCERITY CAN EXIST WITHOUT TRUTH

Here is what makes deception terrifying:

A deceived person usually does not know he is deceived.

“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” — Proverbs 14:12

    Sincerity matters.

But sincerity cannot transform error into truth.

So the Bereans did something every last-day Christian must learn:

“They searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” — Acts 17:11

    They did not ask:

    “WHO SAID IT?”

    They asked:

    “IS IT WRITTEN?”

THE SAFEST CHRISTIAN IS NOT THE ONE WHO NEVER QUESTIONS HIS TRADITION—BUT THE ONE WHO LETS SCRIPTURE QUESTION EVERYTHING.
    ---

⑪ NOW TURN THE PROPHECY AROUND—IS BABYLON IN ME?

We can correctly identify prophetic Babylon—

    and still possess Babylon's spirit.

    That should make us tremble.

DO I LOVE TRUTH WHEN IT CORRECTS ME?

DO I OBEY WHEN OBEDIENCE COSTS ME?

DO I DEFEND SCRIPTURE—or merely my interpretation?

DO I WANT CHRIST TO RULE—or simply to confirm what I already believe?

“Search me, O God, and know my heart.” — Psalm 139:23

Prophecy was never given merely to expose somebody else's apostasy.

IT WAS GIVEN TO PREPARE MY CHARACTER FOR CHRIST'S COMING.

    Knowing Babylon cannot save me.

“This is life eternal, that they might know Thee… and Jesus Christ.” — John 17:3
    ---

⑫ THE ANTIDOTE TO BABYLON'S WINE—THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL

This may be the most beautiful truth in the whole prophecy.

    Before Heaven cries:

“BABYLON IS FALLEN!” — Revelation 14:8

    Heaven first proclaims:

“THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL.” — Revelation 14:6

    That order is deliberate.

    Before God exposes the counterfeit—

    HE REVEALS CHRIST.

    Before He calls people out—

HE GIVES THEM SOMEONE TO COME TO.

    Babylon offers intoxicating wine.

    Jesus cries:

“If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink.” — John 7:37

    Babylon elevates human authority.

    Jesus says:

“Thy word is truth.” — John 17:17

    Babylon reaches for earthly power.

    Jesus conquers through Calvary:

“I… will draw all men unto Me.” — John 12:32

THE FINAL MESSAGE IS NOT BABYLON-CENTERED.

    IT IS LAMB-CENTERED.

The purpose of exposing Babylon is not merely to make people leave error—

BUT TO BRING THEM TO JESUS.

    ---

⑬ “COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE”—THE VOICE BEHIND THE WARNING IS LOVE

Perhaps the tenderest words in the prophecy are:

“Come out of her, MY PEOPLE.” — Revelation 18:4

    MY PEOPLE.

    Not:

    “My enemies.”

    Not:

    “People beyond salvation.”

    MY PEOPLE.

God has sincere people inside systems containing error.

Therefore true present truth produces tears—not hatred.

    We do not attack Catholics.

    We do not despise Protestants.

    We do not exalt ourselves.

    WE EXPOSE ERROR—
    LOVE PEOPLE—
    OPEN SCRIPTURE—
    AND LIFT UP CHRIST.

“The wonderful love of Christ will melt and subdue hearts.” — The Desire of Ages, p. 826
    ---

WHEN JESUS SHOWS YOU TRUTH THAT CROSSES YOUR TRADITION, YOUR COMFORT, YOUR REPUTATION, OR YOUR CHERISHED OPINION—WILL YOU FOLLOW THE LAMB?

That is present truth brought home to the heart.

DON'T MERELY IDENTIFY THE GOLDEN CUP.

    REFUSE THE WINE.
    OPEN THE WORD.
    FOLLOW THE LAMB.
    DRINK DEEPLY FROM CHRIST.

“Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst.” — John 4:14
Daily Bible Lesson . WHY DOES REVELATION POINT TO ROME AS BABYLON—AND WHAT DEADLY “WINE” IS INTOXICATING THE WORLD? “Babylon… made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” — Revelation 14:8 John saw something terrifying: A WOMAN WITH A GOLDEN CUP. KINGS UNITED WITH HER. NATIONS DRINKING. A WORLD INTOXICATED. Revelation 17:1–6 This is not merely about ancient Rome. It is about WORSHIP. AUTHORITY. DECEPTION. CONSCIENCE. And ultimately— CHRIST OR HUMAN AUTHORITY: WHO WILL RULE THE HEART? Before pointing at Babylon, therefore, ask: IS ANYTHING IN HER CUP ALREADY IN MINE? --- ① THE WOMAN—RELIGION THAT BECAME UNFAITHFUL TO CHRIST A pure woman symbolizes God's faithful people. “I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.” — Jeremiah 6:2 But Revelation 17 shows a harlot. Why? Because she still appears religious— yet has become unfaithful to her rightful Husband. “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT.” — Revelation 17:5 Babylon is therefore not merely irreligion. It is something more deceptive: RELIGION WITHOUT FAITHFULNESS TO CHRIST AND HIS WORD. The greatest danger may not be rejecting the Bible— but using the Bible while placing another authority above it. --- ② WHY ROME?—FOLLOW THE PROPHETIC MARKERS Revelation does not ask us to guess. The woman sits upon seven mountains. — Revelation 17:9 She is connected with the city that “reigneth over the kings of the earth.” — Revelation 17:18 In John's day, that ruling city was Rome. Daniel had already foretold a power arising from the Roman world that would: SPEAK GREAT WORDS. PERSECUTE THE SAINTS. THINK TO CHANGE TIMES AND LAW. Daniel 7:23–25 Revelation 13 continues the same prophetic pattern. This is why historic Protestant interpreters identified papal Rome as a central fulfillment of these prophecies. But notice carefully: PROPHECY IDENTIFIES A SYSTEM—NOT EVERY PERSON WITHIN IT. For God Himself says: “Come out of her, MY PEOPLE.” — Revelation 18:4 CHRIST HAS PEOPLE EVEN WHERE ERROR EXISTS. --- ③ HER FORNICATION—WHEN THE BRIDE REACHES FOR CAESAR Why does God call it fornication? Because the church belongs to one Husband. “I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 11:2 Yet Babylon joins herself to: “The kings of the earth.” — Revelation 17:2 Here lies the prophetic tragedy: THE BRIDE REACHES FOR CAESAR WHEN SHE SHOULD CLING TO CHRIST. Religion seeks government power to accomplish what Christ entrusted to truth and the Holy Spirit. Ellen White warns that when churches seek civil power to enforce religious observances, the principles of the prophetic image to the beast are reproduced. — The Great Controversy, p. 445 Jesus declared: “My kingdom is not of this world.” — John 18:36 CHRIST WINS CONSCIENCES. BABYLON SEEKS TO CONTROL THEM. --- ④ THE WINE—ERROR THAT MAKES CROOKED THINGS LOOK STRAIGHT Why wine? Because intoxication does something frightening: IT DISTORTS PERCEPTION. A drunken man can feel perfectly confident— while walking crooked. So can a religious person. “A golden cup in her hand full of abominations.” — Revelation 17:4 Ellen White identifies this intoxicating cup with the false doctrines Babylon has received and communicated to the world. — The Great Controversy, p. 388 Here is the warning: THE CUP IS GOLDEN—BUT GOLD DOES NOT PURIFY WHAT IS INSIDE. Falsehood rarely conquers by announcing: “I am false.” It comes dressed as— TRADITION. AUTHORITY. ANTIQUITY. POPULARITY. RELIGION. Therefore: “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:21 NEVER CONFUSE AN ANCIENT BELIEF WITH AN INSPIRED BELIEF. --- ⑤ FIRST INTOXICATION—TRADITION ABOVE “IT IS WRITTEN” Jesus exposed this danger directly: “Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition.” — Mark 7:13 That is Babylon's operating principle: MAN'S WORD WHERE GOD'S WORD SHOULD RULE. Jesus defeated Satan three times with: “IT IS WRITTEN.” — Matthew 4:4,7,10 That must become our foundation too. Not— “My church teaches it.” “My family always believed it.” “Millions cannot be wrong.” But: “WHAT IS WRITTEN?” “To the law and to the testimony.” — Isaiah 8:20 FAITH DOES NOT ASK TRADITION FOR PERMISSION TO OBEY GOD. --- ⑥ THE OLD WINE—“YE SHALL NOT SURELY DIE” The first doctrinal contradiction in Scripture came from the serpent. God said: “Thou shalt surely die.” — Genesis 2:17 Satan answered: “Ye shall not surely die.” — Genesis 3:4 Scripture still declares: “The dead know not any thing.” — Ecclesiastes 9:5 “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” — Ezekiel 18:4 Why does this matter in the last days? Because Revelation predicts supernatural deception. “Spirits of devils, working miracles.” — Revelation 16:14 If Satan can impersonate the dead— a false doctrine about death can become a doorway for a false supernatural experience. THE SERPENT'S FIRST LIE MAY HELP PREPARE THE WORLD FOR HIS FINAL DECEPTION. Our safety? “Thy word have I hid in mine heart.” — Psalm 119:11 --- ⑦ THE GREAT QUESTION—WHO HAS AUTHORITY TO DEFINE WORSHIP? God sanctified the seventh day. Genesis 2:2–3 God wrote: “The seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God.” — Exodus 20:10 Jesus declared: “The Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.” — Mark 2:28 Revelation's final crisis is unmistakably about worship. “Worship Him that made heaven, and earth.” — Revelation 14:7 versus: “If any man worship the beast and his image…” — Revelation 14:9 Then Heaven points to the faithful: “Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” — Revelation 14:12 So the deepest Sabbath question is not merely: WHICH DAY? It is: WHO IS LORD? If Jesus is Lord— His Word outranks every human tradition. --- ⑧ THE MOST DANGEROUS WINE—ANYTHING THAT OBSCURES CHRIST At Babylon's deepest level, the issue is not merely a collection of incorrect doctrines. It is another authority standing where Christ belongs. Scripture declares: “There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” — 1 Timothy 2:5 “Neither is there salvation in any other.” — Acts 4:12 No human priesthood can replace His mediation. No human merit can supplement His sacrifice. No human authority can outrank His Word. CHRIST IS ENOUGH. CHRIST OUR SACRIFICE. CHRIST OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. CHRIST OUR HIGH PRIEST. CHRIST OUR MEDIATOR. CHRIST OUR SAVIOR. “We have a great high priest… Jesus the Son of God.” — Hebrews 4:14 THE MORE CLEARLY CHRIST IS SEEN, THE LESS ROOM REMAINS FOR COUNTERFEITS. --- ⑨ WHY DO KINGS DRINK?—BECAUSE ERROR EVENTUALLY WANTS POWER Babylon's wine does not remain inside a church. Revelation shows a terrifying progression: ERROR BECOMES ALLIANCE. ALLIANCE BECOMES LEGISLATION. LEGISLATION BECOMES PRESSURE. DATE: FRIDAY 28TH AUGUST 2026

TOPIC: REFUEL, RECHARGE, RELOAD, PART 2

    MEMORIZE:
"But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost," Jude 1:20 (KJV)

    BIBLE READING: MARK 14:32-50
32 And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.

    33 And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;

34 And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.

35 And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

37 And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?

38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

39 And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.

40 And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him.

41 And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

42 Rise up, let us go; lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand.

43 And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.

44 And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.

45 And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him.

46 And they laid their hands on him, and took him.

47 And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

48 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me?

49 I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.

50 And they all forsook him, and fled.

    MESSAGE:
Yesterday, I mentioned that you should recharge your spiritual energy whenever you feel a hunger in your spirit. This is very important; however, you should also continue to refuel your spiritual energy even when you don't feel a spiritual hunger so that you can be prepared ahead of any emergency. This is what I refer to as 'extra oil'. Extra oil is the reservoir of prayers and fasting that you have previously done and the Bible verses you have memorised that will come in handy when you are suddenly faced with a challenge. That is why you should always pray, fast, and study the word of God more than you think is necessary, because on days when you need a quick spiritual surge of power, it is from the reservoir that you have built that you will quickly recharge your energy.

For example, temptations can arise on a day when you are not fully charged, and you will need strength to resist them. It is from your extra oil that the strength will come. Likewise, if danger suddenly shows up or disaster strikes, you will need to switch to a war mode quickly, and that can only happen when you have a reservoir of oil in you. In such moments, you can start by speaking in tongues. As you speak in tongues, you will draw from the extra oil in your reservoir, and before long, you will feel a surge of power, and then you will be able to solve the problem at hand. However, nothing will happen if there is no extra oil in your reservoir, even if you speak vehemently in tongues when facing a disaster.

Child of God, nobody prepares for war on a battlefield. Oftentimes, commanders and soldiers plan their battle strategies long before wars break out. In Matthew 26:36-44, the Bible recounts how Jesus spent time praying earnestly in the Garden of Gethsemane before he was arrested. While He prayed, His disciples slept; therefore, when challenges arose, they had no extra oil to draw from, so they fled. Peter denied Jesus, and all the other disciples fainted on the day of adversity because their strength was small (Proverbs 24:10).

Beloved, pray more than you think is necessary before the day of adversity comes. Prayer is never a waste. Speak in tongues often, and spend ample time in God's presence so that when the day of adversity comes, you will have more than enough extra oil to draw strength from.

    PRAYER POINT:
Father, please help me to immerse myself in prayer and give myself to the study of Your word daily.

MESSAGE: Yesterday, I mentioned that you should recharge your spiritual energy whenever you feel a hunger in your spirit. PRAYER POINT: Father, please help me to immerse myself in prayer and give myself to the study of Your word daily. BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: EZEKIEL 16 - 17 AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. • St. Augustine of Hippo

St. Augustine was the son of St. Monica and was born on November 13, 354. He led a wicked life of parties and entertainment and then converted to Christian faith by the prayers of his mother St. Monica. He got the sudden change of mind when he heard the conversion of two persons after reading the life of St. Antony. He cried to the God to forgive him from his sins and sinful life. At that time when he was praying to God, a child nearby was singing "Take up and read". He thought that it is a message to him from God and started reading the book of letters of St. Paul. From then on St. Augustine began a new life. Baptized in the year 387 and then he became a priest in the year 391. He also became a very famous Christian thinker and writer. He became the Bishop of Hippo Regius in the year 391 and remained in that post till his death on August 28, 430. St. Augustine vigorously condemned the practice of induced abortion. He stressed infant baptism. He was of the full faith that the Virgin Mary conceived as virgin, gave birth as virgin and stayed virgin forever.

He healed one person from his illness by laying his hands on the head of that person. He was proclaimed as Doctor of the Church by Pope Boniface-VIII in the year 1298. He is one of the greatest catholic saints ever lived.

  • God: Always Within Reach

"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." — Hebrews 4:16

God is the only one you can always reach. All you need is His grace, and the freedom to come boldly before His throne of mercy.

People are wonderful, but they have limits. Sometimes the people we love cannot reach us, or we cannot reach them. Life gets busy. Energy runs low. This is simply part of being human.

But God is different. He is never out of reach. You can call on Him at any time, day or night, and He will always be there, ready to listen. His love, His patience, and His readiness to respond have no end.

He never grows tired of hearing from us. He is never too difficult to approach. Coming to Him is simple. It is gentle. It is always welcoming.
He is more than enough for us to call upon, cry to, and pray to. He is our High Priest and our Burden Bearer, always within reach.

Think about the people you turn to when life gets hard. Even the best of them have their own struggles, their own tired days, their own limits. That is not a failure on their part — it is simply what it means to be human, trying their best according to the divine ability and grace granted unto them.

Hence, God was never meant to be measured by human standards. He does not grow tired. He does not run out of patience. He does not have a bad day that makes Him too busy for you. When everyone else seems far, He remains near.

This truth should shape how we live. It means we never have to wait for the "right time" to pray, or feel guilty for coming to Him again and again. It means our worries, our joys, our fears, and our hopes all matter to Him, at every hour, without exception.

Access to God is not something we earn through perfection — it is something we receive through grace. So come as you are. Whether it is midnight or midday, whether your heart is heavy or full of praise, His door is always open.

All He asks is that you come.

    God's Loving Heart.
