Did you know?
The sanctuary was not merely an ancient place of worship. It was God’s illustrated plan of redemption.

Scripture calls the earthly sanctuary a “copy and shadow of the heavenly things” (Hebrews 8:5). Its services were symbolic, pointing beyond themselves to the saving work of Christ.

Every part taught something.

The sacrifices revealed that sin brings death and that forgiveness requires the shedding of blood.
The priesthood revealed the need for a mediator between God and man.
The daily ministry showed how confessed sin was dealt with through the blood of the sacrifice.
The Day of Atonement revealed a final work of cleansing, judgment, and the ultimate removal of sin.

Even the yearly feasts followed the same redemptive pattern.

Passover pointed to Christ our sacrifice.
Unleavened Bread pointed to His sinless life and burial.
Firstfruits pointed to His resurrection.
Pentecost pointed to the inauguration of the heavenly sanctuary and outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Trumpets announced the approaching judgment.
The Day of Atonement pointed to the final judgement ministry of Christ in the heavenly sanctuary.
Tabernacles pointed forward to the final gathering and dwelling of God with His redeemed people.

This is why the sanctuary matters.

The cross cannot be separated from the priesthood.
The sacrifice cannot be separated from the ministry of the blood.
And the daily service cannot be separated from the final cleansing on the Day of Atonement.

Together, the sanctuary, its sacrifices, its priesthood, and its feasts form one connected prophetic picture of the entire work of redemption—from the death of Christ to the final removal of sin.

“Your way, O God, is in the sanctuary.” — Psalm 77:13

Sts. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus

St. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus were very prominent Jews and were members of the supreme Jewish Council called Sanhedrin.

Mathew called Joseph as a rich man and Luke called him as a good and upright man. Even though Joseph was a very important Jewish leader, he believed in the coming kingdom of God and started believing that Jesus might be the Messiah. Luke calls him a good and upright man. After the death of Jesus on the cross at Golgotha, Joseph courageously met Pilate, the Procurator of Judea, in person and asked him the body of Jesus. Pilate also ordered to handover the body of Jesus to Joseph, after confirming from the guards that Jesus died on the cross. Joseph then wrapped the body of Jesus with 100 pounds of myrrh and aloes brought by Nicodemus, in fine linen and buried in a cave tomb hewn for him. Nicodemus helped Joseph in all these activities and he only brought the myrrh and aloes to anoint Jesus. Joseph and Nicodemus have given an honorable burial to Jesus following the Jewish burial procedure. Nicodemus was a secret disciple of Jesus and he came to Jesus one night to listen to His teachings and praised Jesus Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God; for no man can do these miracles you have done (John 3: 2). When the Chief priest sent guards to arrest Jesus, they did not brought Jesus. When the Chief Priests and the Pharisees condemned the officers who have said no one talked like Him (Jesus), they cursed them. But Nicodemus told them whether our laws judge anyone before hearing what had happened (John\-7:45\-51). Nicodemus made this comment naturally in support of Jesus.

TEXT: VISION

Color Red in No.7 Vision = sacrifice of Jesus, of His death, burial, resurrection = sign of prophet Jonas. As only sign in endtimes. No more die for our sins but return to pick church of Him with no wrinkle or spot. Thus it's a call to prepare now living ones in this last age. By using grace of His death burial resurrection like those dead to sin to believe & put sinfulness dead with His death & have newness in Christ through His resurrection. And those fallen that make spiritual revival using His sacrificial death, to wash themselves from and be pure before God.

Eph 5:26-27 — That He might sanctify and cleanse her with washing of water by word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

1. COLOR RED IN NO.7 = BLOOD SACRIFICE — NOT ANGER — LOVE

Isa 53:5 — But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Lev 17:11 — For life of flesh is in blood, and I have given it to you upon altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is blood that makes atonement.

Red 7 seen in visions — Not Red of Satan shedding blood Prov 6:17 — hands that shed innocent blood — But Red of Christ shedding His own Blood — Acts 20:28 — Church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

2. SIGN OF PROPHET JONAS = DEATH, BURIAL, RESURRECTION — ONLY SIGN IN ENDTIMES

Matt 12:39-40 — An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except sign of prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in belly of great fish, so will Son of Man be three days and three nights in heart of earth.

Luke 11:29-30 — This is an evil generation. It seeks a sign, and no sign will be given to it except sign of Jonah prophet.

Jesus said endtimes wicked generation asks for signs — miracles, wonders, prophets — But only ONE sign remains valid: His Death, Burial, Resurrection.

1 Cor 15:3-4 — For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again third day according to Scriptures.

That is Red 7 — Death — Burial — Resurrection.

No more die for our sins — Heb 10:10 — We have been sanctified through offering of body of Jesus Christ once for all — Heb 9:28 — So Christ was offered once to bear sins of many.

His return now is not to die again — Heb 9:28 — To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear second time, apart from sin, for salvation — But to pick church with no wrinkle or spot — Eph 5:27.

Thus Son says: Stop looking for another sign — Stop looking for dead prophets — Sign of Jonas is enough — Believe it.

3. CALL TO PREPARE NOW LIVING ONES IN THIS LAST AGE — USING GRACE OF HIS DEATH BURIAL RESURRECTION

Rom 6:4 — Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from dead by glory of Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Rom 6:6-7 — Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin.

Living ones — True Israel in last age — 1 John 3:9 — Whoever born of God does not practice sin — Hear call:

A. Use grace of His Death — Be dead to sin — Believe & put sinfulness dead

Rom 6:11 — Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

4. THOSE FALLEN — MAKE SPIRITUAL REVIVAL USING HIS SACRIFICIAL DEATH — WASH YOURSELVES AND BE PURE BEFORE GOD

Some living ones have fallen — Fornication, adultery, theft, occult, alcohol — Son says: Make revival NOW — Using sacrificial death — Wash.

Eph 5:26-27 — That He might sanctify and cleanse her with washing of water by word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

1 John 1:7 — But if we walk in light as He is in light, we have fellowship with one another, and blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Believe Blood — Heb 9:14 — How much more shall blood of Christ... cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve living God?
Live pure — 1 Tim 4:5 — Sanctified by Word of God and prayer — John 17:17 — Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.

5. NO MORE DIE FOR SINS — BUT RETURN TO PICK CHURCH WITH NO WRINKLE OR SPOT — ARE YOU READY?

Heb 9:28 — To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
Matt 24:44 — Therefore you also be ready, for Son of Man is coming at hour you do not expect.

Eph 5:27 — Glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle.

Spot = sin practised — 2 Pet 2:13 — spots and blemishes.
Wrinkle = old nature, age of flesh, not renewed — Rom 12:2 — Be transformed by renewing of your mind.

Son wants church bought by Blood Acts 20:28 — belongs to Christ — True Israel — Gold pure after Red 7 — Green 7 — 144,000 Rev 14:4-5 — without fault before throne — Living ones — Not dead in sin.

Rev 19:7-8 — Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for marriage of Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for fine linen is righteous acts of saints.

CALL NOW — LIVING ONES:

Rom 14:8 — For if we live, we live to Lord; and if we die, we die to Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are Lord's.

Prepare now — No wrinkle — No spot — Holy — Without blemish — Ready for catching up — 1 Thess 4:16-17 — Dead in Christ rise first, then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together in clouds to meet Lord in air.

“𝘙𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵, 𝘸𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘣𝘺 𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦;
𝘛𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩, 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘦.”

We often treat spiritual growth as a solitary pursuit. We read our Bibles alone, pray in secret, and wonder why our faith feels stagnant and brittle. But Christian growth is personal; it was never meant to be isolated. Whether we are growing in knowledge, stability, or grace, the question is not whether we are rooted in Christ—but whether we are helping others grow rooted with us.

Paul writes in 🕮 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟐:𝟔–𝟕, “𝘈𝘴 𝘺𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘑𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥, 𝘴𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘺𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘮: 𝘙𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘵 𝘶𝘱 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘮, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩…” Receiving Christ is not the journey’s end—it is the start of new life. Believers are called to walk in Him, be rooted, built up, and established in faith. Maturity is not just knowing more, but being firmly grounded in Christ.

A single tree may stand alone, but a forest withstands storms as its roots grow together, strengthening the soil. Likewise, believers are not meant to grow alone. God places us in a church to learn, encourage, correct, pray, and strengthen one another. Roots deep in Christ help others stand firm when storms shake them.

Scripture teaches spiritual growth is a shared responsibility: “𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘺 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳” (𝟏 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟓:𝟏𝟏), “𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳” (𝐇𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝟏𝟎:𝟐𝟒), “Bear ye one another's burdens” (𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟔:𝟐), “𝘦𝘹𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘺” (𝐇𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝟑:𝟏𝟑), and speak “𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘯 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦” for the body to “𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘶𝘱 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘮” (𝐄𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟒:𝟏𝟓). Spiritual maturity isn’t just about church participation, but about growing through faithful edification.

Growth does not happen by accident. We cannot grow merely by hearing the Word occasionally while remaining disconnected from Christ. We must continue in Him. “𝘈𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘸𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘯 𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘦𝘴, 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘣𝘺” (𝟏 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟐:𝟐). Do not mistake spiritual information for spiritual transformation. We do not grow to be seen; we grow because we are saved.

Before we could ever grow in Christ, He gave us life first. We were dead in sin, but through His death, burial, and resurrection according to the Scriptures (𝟏 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏𝟓:𝟑–𝟒), He secured salvation for believers. Christ is not just our growth example—He is our life source. He said, “𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘺𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨” (𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟏𝟓:𝟓). Apart from Him, there is no true growth; in Him, we are rooted and established.

Are you growing deeper in Christ, or merely growing older in church? And as God strengthens you, who are you helping to stand? You do not need Christ merely to help you become a better believer—you need Him because He is the root and source of the life you are called to grow in. Stay rooted in Christ. Keep walking in Him. What Son is speaking / shown through Red 7 Visions — Spiritual Advice for Kingdoms whose culture norms worship not with alignment to sound doctrine — So that souls even if dead remain of Lord's

Ps 146:3-4 — Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, he returns to his earth; in that very day his plans perish.

2. WHAT SON IS SPEAKING THROUGH VISIONS — RED 7 LENS TO KINGDOMS

Through Red 7 vision — judgement of correction first to house made 1 Pet 4:17 — purified with love Heb 12:6 — Gold pure Job 23:10 — Now to evil doers and to thrones — heavier strokes if refuse Luke 12:48 — because God will not share glory with idols.

Son is saying: Kingdoms of kings on earth need to follow those alive so that their souls even if dead remain of Lord's — Rom 14:8 — For if we live, we live to Lord; and if we die, we die to Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are Lord's.

Why? Because some culture norms worship not with alignment with sound doctrine:

Worship of royal drums as gods — Ex 20:3 — No other gods before Me.
Consulting dead kings, ancestors, spirits of dead — Deut 18:10-12 — abomination — Lev 20:6 — I will set My face against person who turns to mediums and familiar spirits.
Mock battles, millet rituals to appease ancestors — Isa 8:19 — Should a people seek their God? Should they seek dead on behalf of living?
Lion-skin crowns, sacred drums turned upside down when king dies — tradition that gives power to object not to Christ — Col 2:8 — Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to tradition of men... and not according to Christ.
Fornication, drunkenness in enthronement celebrations — Gal 5:19-21 — will not inherit kingdom of God.

These culture norms — if not corrected — soul does not remain of Lord's when dead — perishes — John 8:24 — If you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins — Heb 9:27 — It is appointed for men to die once, but after this judgment.

3. SPIRITUAL ADVICE TO KINGDOMS — FOLLOW THOSE ALIVE — SOUND DOCTRINE

What must kingdoms do so souls even if dead remain of Lord's?

A. Acknowledge King of kings over cultural kings

1 Tim 6:15 — He who is blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords.
Ps 2:10-11 — Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of earth. Serve LORD with fear.
Dan 4:32 — Till you know that Most High rules in kingdom of men.

No Omukama, no Kabaka, no Kyabazinga, no king in Europe is King of kings — All thrones under Christ — Rev 19:16 — KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Advice: Toro Kingdom and all kingdoms — Put Christ first in palace — Matt 6:33 — Seek first kingdom of God — Not drum first.

B. Worship in Spirit and Truth — Not Ancestors

John 4:24 — God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

Culture says seek ancestors — Sound doctrine says seek Christ — 1 Tim 2:5 — For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.

Col 1:18 — That in all things He may have preeminence.

Advice: Stop consulting dead — Isa 8:19 — Burial rites should point to Christ resurrection 1 Thess 4:14 — not turning drums upside down to call spirits. Let royal drum be culture artifact — not god.

C. Repent — Believe Gospel — Live Pure — Belong to Lord in Life and Death

Acts 20:28 — Church purchased with His own blood — belongs to Christ.

To belong to Lord even if dead — must belong to Lord while alive:

Rom 10:9 — If you confess with your mouth Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from dead, you will be saved.
2 Cor 5:15 — He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
1 John 3:9 — Whoever born of God does not practice sin — true Israel.
Tit 2:11-12 — Grace teaches us that, denying ungodliness... we should live soberly, righteously.

King Oyo promoted education, youth, tourism — Good works — But good works without sound doctrine cannot keep soul as Lord's after death — Eph 2:8-9 — For by grace you have been saved through faith... not of works. 64ba

Soul remains Lord's only if sealed by Blood — Eph 1:13 — Sealed with Holy Spirit of promise — Rom 14:8.

D. Pray for Kings — But Teach Kings Sound Doctrine

1 Tim 2:1-2 — Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers... be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead quiet and peaceable life in all godliness.
2 Tim 4:2-3 — Preach word!... For time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine.

Kingdoms — Do not just mourn — Reform — Let chaplains preach Christ crucified, not syncretism — 1 Cor 2:2 — I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

4. FINAL WARNING — THRONES FALL TO TEACH THAT ONLY CHRIST THRONE REMAINS

Heb 12:27-28 — Yet once more I shake... that those things which cannot be shaken may remain... Therefore, since we are receiving kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace.

King Oyo died 34 — young — like father died 1995 — Ps 90:12 — So teach us to number our days, that we may gain heart of wisdom.

Some king in Europe dead too — Same shake — Isa 40:23 — He brings princes to nothing; He makes judges of earth useless.

Spiritual advice from Son through visions: Let kingdoms now turn — Follow those alive in Christ — Not dead traditions — So souls of kings and subjects even if dead remain of Lord's — Rom 14:8.

If refuse — More thrones will empty — Rev 6:15 — Then kings of earth... hid themselves.

If obey — Rev 21:24 — And kings of earth bring their glory and honor into New Jerusalem.

ALTAR CALL TO TORO & ALL KINGDOMS:

Josh 24:15 — Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve... But as for me and my house, we will serve LORD.

Leave ancestor worship — Leave drum worship — Believe Blood — Live pure — Be true Israel — Church bought by Blood belongs to Christ — Whether live or die — Yours remains Lord's.

Let Toro say: From today — Christ is Omukama of Toro — King of kings reigns in Karuziika Palace.

Rev 5:12 — Worthy is Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing.

Amen — Rest King Oyo — But let living kingdoms hear and repent — Before throne empty again.

“𝘐𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘩𝘦𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘥 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘷𝘦,
𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘴𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦.”

We may say we love Christ, sing our devotion, and attend church faithfully—but Jesus asks deeper: “Lovest thou me?” It is easy to confess love for the Shepherd while overlooking the sheep beside us. Whether busy in ministry or focused on ourselves, the question is not just if we love Christ—but if that love moves us to care for those He loves.

In 🕮 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟐𝟏:𝟏𝟕, Jesus asked Peter three times, “𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘦?… 𝘍𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘱.” Each time, love was linked to responsibility for His people. Jesus did not ask about gifts, followers, or success—only, “Lovest thou me?” followed by the command to care for His sheep. Love for Christ is not shown by words alone, but by faithful care for those who belong to Him.

A shepherd does not love his sheep from a distance. He walks with them, feeds them, watches them, protects them, and carries the weak. So it is with believers: we do not love Christ by ignoring His people; we love Him by tending to their needs, their wounds, and helping them grow in the Word.

Scripture ties love to shepherding. “𝘍𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘱” (𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟐𝟏:𝟏𝟕). “𝘛𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘬… 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘥” (𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝟐𝟎:𝟐𝟖). “𝘍𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘥… 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘺” (𝟏 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟓:𝟐). “I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them” (𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝟐𝟑:𝟒). We do not care for people to earn love; we care because we are loved.

But feeding sheep requires giving them truth, not just attention. A starving sheep needs nourishment, not empty words. We must avoid feeding only what people want to hear while withholding what their souls need. “𝘔𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘺 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥” (𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐰 𝟒:𝟒). Don’t offer spiritual cotton candy—sweet to taste, but unable to nourish.

Before Christ commanded Peter to feed His sheep, He first fed us with His own life. He gave Himself as the Good Shepherd who “𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘱” (𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟏𝟎:𝟏𝟏). Through His death, burial, and resurrection (𝟏 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏𝟓:𝟑–𝟒), He secured our salvation and gathered us into His fold. We care for His people because Christ first cared for us, feeding our wandering souls with grace.

Yet the question still reaches us today: “𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘦?” It is not answered by songs, sermons, or words alone. Who around us is spiritually hungry, discouraged, or weary? We need Christ not just to give us people to care for, but because He is the Good Shepherd who teaches us to love His sheep. If we love Him, we cannot ignore His sheep. Feed, strengthen, and love them as Christ loved us.

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫: Heavenly Father, forgive our self-focused faith. Thank You for Christ, the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for us. Give us tender, compassionate hearts to care for Your people, feeding and protecting the flock with sacrificial love. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Story of Abraham in the Bible

Introduction

Abraham is one of the most important people in the Bible. He is remembered as a man of faith, obedience, and trust in God. His story is found mainly in the book of Genesis, chapters 12–25.

Abraham was originally called Abram. God called him to leave his homeland and go to a land that God would show him. God promised to make him a great nation and to bless all the families of the earth through him.

God Calls Abraham

One day, God spoke to Abram and said:

«“Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.”»

God promised Abram that He would make him into a great nation, bless him, make his name great, and make him a blessing to others.

Abram obeyed God. He left his homeland with his wife, Sarai, and his nephew Lot, and they traveled toward the land of Canaan.

When Abram arrived in Canaan, God appeared to him and promised to give that land to his descendants.

Abraham and Lot

As Abram and Lot became wealthy, their servants began arguing because there was not enough land for all their animals.

Abram did not want conflict. He gave Lot the opportunity to choose where he wanted to live.

Lot chose the fertile area near Sodom, while Abram remained in the land of Canaan.

After Lot separated from him, God renewed His promise to Abram. God told him that his descendants would be as numerous as the dust of the earth.

God Promises a Son

Although Abram was growing older, he still had no child. He wondered how God's promise of a great nation could come true.

God told him that he would have a son of his own and that his descendants would be extremely numerous.

Abram believed God, and the Bible says that his faith was counted to him as righteousness.

God also changed his name from Abram to Abraham, meaning “father of a multitude,” and changed Sarai's name to Sarah.

The Birth of Isaac

Abraham and Sarah waited many years for the promised child.

When Abraham was 100 years old and Sarah was very old, God fulfilled His promise. Sarah gave birth to a son, and they named him Isaac.

The birth of Isaac brought great joy to Abraham and Sarah because God had kept His promise despite the long years of waiting.

Abraham Is Tested

One of the greatest tests of Abraham's faith came when God commanded him to offer Isaac as a sacrifice.

Abraham obeyed and took Isaac to the place God had shown him. Isaac did not understand what was going to happen, but Abraham continued in faith.

Just as Abraham was about to sacrifice his son, an angel of the Lord stopped him.

God provided a ram caught in a thicket as a sacrifice instead.

Through this test, Abraham demonstrated his willingness to trust and obey God even when he did not understand God's plan.

God then reaffirmed His promise to bless Abraham and multiply his descendants.

Abraham's Later Years

Abraham continued to live as a man of faith. After Sarah died, he made arrangements for her burial.

Abraham later married Keturah and had more children, but Isaac remained the son through whom God's covenant promise would continue.

Abraham eventually died at the age of 175. His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him beside Sarah.

The Legacy of Abraham

Abraham's story is one of faith and obedience. He did not always understand what God was doing, but he continued to trust God's promises.

His life teaches us several important lessons:

1. Trust God even when you cannot see the whole plan.
2. Obey God when He calls you to something difficult.
3. Be patient while waiting for God's promises.
4. Faith sometimes requires sacrifice.
5. God is faithful to His promises.

Abraham became known as a great man of faith, and his story continues to inspire millions of people around the world.

The story of Abraham reminds us that when God makes a promise, we can trust Him—even when the answer takes longer than we expected.

Isaiah 53 is the last of four messianic prophecies in the book of Isaiah known as the “Servant Songs” (chs. 42, 49, 50, 53) because they speak of the ministry, suffering, and exaltation of God’s Servant, the Messiah. Chapter 53 describes the rejection of Jesus (vv. 1-3), His suffering and death in our place (vv. 4-6), His sacrificial death and burial (vv. 7-9), and His resurrection (vv. 10-12).

The New Testament unequivocally applies Isaiah 53 to Christ (see John 12:38; Romans 10:16 [Isaiah 53:1]; Matthew 8:17 [Isaiah 53:4]; 1 Peter 2:22-25 [Isaiah 53:4-9]; Acts 8:32-33 [Isaiah 53:7-8]; Luke 22:37 [Isaiah 53:12]). Peter quoted Isaiah 53:4-9 (1 Peter 2:22-25) to encourage believers in Jesus who were suffering because of their faith (1:6) that Christ also endured unjust suffering. When we put our faith in Jesus—the authentic Son of God—He’ll help us reflect Him in our lives and “follow in his steps” (v. 21).

And they made His grave with the wicked – but with the rich at His death, because He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth. (Isaiah 53:9)

A worthy burial
People could not do with Jesus Christ as they pleased. When they crucified Him, they placed Him between two criminals. God allowed this. But then they appointed His grave with the wicked. God intervened and prevented this. He ensured that the Lord Jesus, in His death, was with a rich man.
 The rich and respected councillor Joseph of Arimathea took Jesus’ body from the cross and wrapped it in fine linen. Then he placed Him in a new tomb hewn out of rock. With this appropriate burial, God honoured His faithful and obedient servant.
 The prophet Isaiah gives two reasons why Christ was with a rich man in His death:
 1. He had done no violence. This means that the Lord Jesus did not commit a single sin. God wants to show us that Christ was sinless. In Him, there is no sin (1 John 3:5). He knew no sin (2 Corinthians 5:21), and He did no sin (1 Peter 2:22). Therefore, He was buried fittingly after His death.
 2. There was no deceit in His mouth. In everything that the Lord Jesus said, He was always truthful. This goes beyond merely not lying. His words were always transparent and direct. He never used language to deceive anyone or to say something He did not mean. He was also honoured with a dignified burial for this.
