John and others who wrote about Jesus were eyes witnesses of all he taught and deed in his earthly ministry, he saved them and every one who came to him by faith and they heard him declare so clearly his mission of coming to the world "to save mankind from sin and it's eternal consequence"( Mathew 18:11).it was God the father who planned our salvation and lovingly reach out to us by sending his son , the coming of Jesus, his death and resurrection was not an accident but was God's mission of love to rescue mankind from sin , the chief purpose of Christ coming was not just to be a teacher or a miracle worker but to save and deliver us from the penalty and power of sin , Jesus accomplished our salvation by his death on the cross for us and by his resurrection from death, his salvation is not limited to group or nation -he is the saviour of the whole world , meaning all who believes in him regardless of race, background or past , this emphasizes the scope of God's love and salvation. Daily Devotional I may shine as the stars forever and ever. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. Daniel 12:3 He who has appointed “to every man his work,” according to his ability, will never let the faithful performance of duty go unrewarded. Every act of loyalty and faith will be crowned with special tokens of God’s favor and approbation. To every worker is given the promise: “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” However short our service or humble our work, if in simple faith we follow Christ, we shall not be disappointed of the reward. That which even the greatest and wisest cannot earn, the weakest and most humble may receive. Heaven’s golden gate opens not to the self-exalted. It is not lifted up to the proud in spirit. But the everlasting portals will open wide to the trembling touch of a little child. Blessed will be the recompense of grace to those who have wrought for God in the simplicity of faith and love. The brows of those who do this work will wear the crown of sacrifice. But they will receive their reward. To every worker for God this thought should be a stimulus and an encouragement. In this life our work for God often seems to be almost fruitless. Our efforts to do good may be earnest and persevering, yet we may not be permitted to witness their results. To us the effort may seem to be lost. But the Saviour assures us that our work is noted in heaven, and that the recompense cannot fail. Though his life may be hard and self-denying,...in the sight of heaven it will be a success, and he will be ranked as one of God’s noblemen. “They that be wise shall shine as the brightest of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” [248]

God Sees What Nobody Else Sees (Matthew 6:4) Have you ever done something good and nobody noticed? You helped someone, but nobody thanked you. You worked hard, but someone else received the recognition. You prayed for someone privately, but they never knew. You remained faithful when walking away would have been easier. You chose integrity when nobody would have known if you had compromised. Sometimes it can feel discouraging. We naturally want to be recognized. We want someone to say: “Well done.” “I appreciate you.” “I saw what you did.” But Jesus reminds us of something powerful: God sees. In Matthew 6, Jesus teaches about giving, praying, and serving without doing these things simply to receive recognition from people. He reminds us that our heavenly Father sees what is done in secret. That means your quiet faithfulness matters. The prayer nobody heard matters. The kindness nobody noticed matters. The sacrifice nobody applauded matters. The temptation you resisted when nobody was watching matters. The decision to tell the truth when lying would have benefited you matters. The time you spent encouraging someone matters. The work you do with excellence even when your supervisor isn't watching matters. God sees it all. We live in a culture that often measures success by visibility. How many people saw it? How many likes did it receive? How many followers did it attract? How many people applauded? But God's measurement system is different. He looks at the heart. You can have thousands of people watching you and still have the wrong motives. You can also serve quietly with nobody watching and deeply honour God. Jesus Himself often withdrew from crowds to pray. He wasn't constantly seeking attention. He knew His identity came from the Father. And that's something we need to learn too. You don't have to perform for people when you are secure in God's approval. This doesn't mean recognition is always bad. Encouragement is good. Appreciation is good. Celebrating someone's achievement is good. But don't allow applause to become the reason you do what is right. If people praise you, remain humble. If they don't, remain faithful. If people notice, thank God. If they overlook you, keep going. Your reward isn't ultimately determined by people's opinions. There may be moments when your work feels invisible. A parent caring for a family. A student studying late at night. A worker doing an honest job. A Christian quietly serving at church. Someone praying for their family every morning. Someone choosing purity in a culture that celebrates compromise. Someone forgiving instead of seeking revenge. Someone sharing Jesus with a friend who is struggling. The world may never know the full story. But God does. Don't underestimate the power of hidden faithfulness. A tree grows from roots that most people never see. In the same way, some of the most important things God is doing in your life may be happening beneath the surface. Your character is developing. Your faith is becoming stronger. Your patience is growing. Your relationship with God is deepening. Your obedience is being tested. And one day, the fruit may become visible. So don't quit simply because nobody is applauding. Don't compromise simply because nobody seems to care. Don't stop doing good because someone else received the credit. Don't abandon your calling because your work isn't immediately recognized. Be faithful. Do what is right. Serve with the right heart. Love people. Obey God. And leave recognition in His hands. Remember Joseph. He served faithfully even when he was in prison. There was no glamorous platform. No crowd cheering for him. No obvious evidence that his future would become great. But God was with him. Eventually, God opened the door at the right time. Your current position may not be your final destination. Your hidden season may be preparing you for something you cannot see yet. So keep planting. Keep serving. Keep praying. Keep learning. Keep doing good. And don't forget: God sees what people don't see. Your heavenly Father knows your heart. He knows your motives. He knows your sacrifices. He knows your struggles. He knows the battles you fight privately. And His approval is worth more than the applause of the world. You don't need everyone to notice your faithfulness. You only need to remain faithful to the One who sees everything. Today, do one good thing without expecting recognition. Help someone. Encourage someone. Pray for someone. Serve quietly. Give generously. And don't worry about whether anyone notices. God sees. TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS: SERMON TOPIC: 6 SIGNS SOMEONE ISN’T REALLY CHRISTIAN. “A Christian by Name, or a Christian by Nature?” Text: Matthew 7:21–23; 2 Corinthians 13:5; 1 John 2:3–6 🔥 NOT EVERYONE WHO SAYS “LORD” KNOWS THE LORD. There is a dangerous assumption in Christianity today: “If someone goes to church, carries a Bible, posts Bible verses, sings worship songs, or calls Jesus ‘Lord,’ then that person must be a Christian.” But Jesus warned us that this is not always true. > “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.” — Matthew 7:2 That statement should make every one of us pause. Jesus did not say, “Not everyone who attends church.” He said, “Not everyone who says, ‘Lord, Lord.’” This means it is possible to have Christian language without Christian life. It is possible to have a Bible in your hand but not have Christ in your heart. It is possible to be active in church but inactive in obedience. It is possible to know Christian songs without knowing Christ. And therefore, the question today is not: “Do people think I am a Christian?” The question is: “Does my life give evidence that I truly belong to Christ?” This message is not designed to judge other people. It is a mirror before it becomes a weapon. Before you examine your neighbor, examine yourself. LOOK AT THE 6 SIGNS:- 1. THEY HAVE NO GENUINE DESIRE TO OBEY CHRIST. A genuine Christian is not perfect, but there is a genuine desire to please God. Jesus said: > “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” — John 14:15 Obedience does not save us; Christ saves us. But genuine salvation produces a desire to obey the One who saved us. Someone may say: > “Jesus is my Lord.” But if Jesus is truly Lord, He must have authority over your decisions. You cannot continually say: “Jesus is Lord,” while your lifestyle says: “I am my own lord.” Important distinction A true Christian can fall into sin. But there is a difference between: falling into sin and building your life around sin. There is a difference between: > “Lord, I have failed. Forgive me.” and: > “I know it is wrong, but I don't care.” The first demonstrates repentance. The second demonstrates rebellion. 2. THEY HAVE NO EVIDENCE OF SPIRITUAL FRUIT. Jesus said: > “Ye shall know them by their fruits.” — Matthew 7:16 Notice that Jesus did not say: “You shall know them by their clothes.” He did not say: “You shall know them by their church attendance.” He said: “By their fruits.” What is growing in your life? Is there increasing love? Is there increasing patience? Is there forgiveness? Is there humility? Is there self-control? Is there compassion? Is there holiness? Galatians 5:22–23 describes the fruit of the Spirit. A genuine Christian should show evidence of spiritual transformation. Not perfection. Transformation. If someone has been claiming Christ for years but there is absolutely no evidence of Christlike character, that should lead to serious self-examination. 3. THEY LOVE THE WORLD MORE THAN THEY LOVE GOD. 1 John 2:15 says: > “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.” The Bible is not saying Christians cannot enjoy God's creation, work hard, have possessions, or live normal lives. The warning is about worldliness becoming the master of the heart. When money becomes more important than righteousness... When popularity becomes more important than holiness... When sexual pleasure becomes more important than obedience... When social media approval becomes more important than God's approval... When material possessions become our identity... Something is wrong. Jesus asked: > “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” — Mark 8:36 A Christian lives in the world, but the world must not live in the Christian's heart. 4. THEY HAVE NO LOVE FOR OTHER BELIEVERS. This is one of the strongest biblical tests. 1 John 3:14 says: > “He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.” Christianity is not merely about loving God with our lips. It also affects how we treat people. You cannot continually hate everyone, refuse forgiveness, enjoy destroying people's reputations, and then claim that your relationship with Christ is healthy. Jesus said: > “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” — John 13:35 Love does not mean allowing people to abuse you. Love does not mean approving everything people do. Love means treating people with the character of Christ. Ask yourself: How do I treat people who cannot benefit me? How do I treat those who disagree with me? How do I respond when someone succeeds? Can I forgive? Can I apologize? Can I celebrate another person's progress? Because sometimes the greatest evidence of Christianity is not what happens inside the church building, but how we behave outside it. 5. THEY ONLY FOLLOW JESUS WHEN IT IS CONVENIENT. Some people want Jesus as Savior but refuse Him as Lord. They want: Blessing without obedience. Breakthrough without discipline. Promises without repentance. Heaven without holiness. The crown without the cross. But Jesus said: > “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” — Luke 9:23 Following Christ will sometimes cost you something. It may cost you a relationship. It may cost you an opportunity. It may cost you popularity. It may cost you comfort. It may require you to say: “No.” when everybody else is saying: “Yes.” A genuine disciple does not follow Jesus only when following Him is profitable. Real Christianity is tested when obedience becomes costly. 6. THEY HAVE CHRISTIAN KNOWLEDGE BUT NO PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST. This may be the most frightening sign. A person can know about Jesus without actually knowing Jesus. You can memorize Scripture. You can preach sermons. You can sing worship songs. You can teach Sunday school. You can even perform religious activities. And still have a heart far from God. Jesus said in Matthew 7:23: > “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Those are terrifying words. Notice something: Jesus did not say: “You never knew about Me.” He said: “I never knew you.” Christianity is not merely information about Christ. It is relationship with Christ. You can know the Bible and not obey the Author. You can know Christian vocabulary and not know the Savior. You can sit in church every Sunday and still be spiritually lost. 📖 BIBLICAL CASE STUDY: JUDAS ISCARIOT One of the most sobering examples is Judas. Judas walked with Jesus. He heard Jesus teach. He witnessed miracles. He was among the disciples. He participated in ministry. Yet his heart was not surrendered to Christ. Eventually, he betrayed Jesus. This teaches us something uncomfortable: Being close to Christian activity does not automatically mean being close to Christ. You can be around the fire and still be cold inside. You can be around worship and still have an unconverted heart. You can be around pastors and still need salvation. You can be a church worker and still need Jesus. Therefore, don't ask: “How long have I been in church?” Ask: “Has Christ truly transformed my life?” 🔥 A DEEP SPIRITUAL TRUTH. Salvation is not proven by perfection; it is evidenced by transformation. The Christian life is not: > “I never make mistakes.” It is: > “I no longer want to remain the person I used to be.” When Christ enters a person's life, something begins to change. Their desires begin to change. Their priorities begin to change. Their relationships begin to change. Their attitude toward sin begins to change. Their hunger for God's Word begins to change. Their response to correction begins to change. Their heart begins to change. That is the work of grace. 🛠️ PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS. 1. Examine yourself Paul says: > “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith.” — 2 Corinthians 13:5 Don't only examine your neighbor. Examine yourself. 2. Repent where necessary Don't defend what God is asking you to surrender. If the Holy Spirit reveals something, repent. 3. Return to God's Word Don't build your Christianity around social media quotes. Build it around Scripture. Read it. Study it. Believe it. Practice it. 4. Develop a genuine prayer life Prayer is not merely asking God for things. Prayer is relationship. Talk to God. Listen to God. Seek His will. 5. Look for spiritual fruit Ask: “Am I becoming more like Christ?” Not: “Am I better than someone else?” 6. Make Jesus Lord, not merely Savior Don't only ask Jesus to rescue you from hell. Ask Him to rule your heart. 🤔 QUESTIONS FOR PERSONAL REFLECTION. 1. If someone watched my life for 30 days, would they see evidence of Christ? 2. Do I obey God only when obedience benefits me? 3. What fruit of the Spirit is growing in my life? 4. How do I treat people who cannot reward me? 5. Have I genuinely repented of my sins, or have I simply learned Christian language? 6. Do I know Jesus personally, or do I only know about Him? 🙏 POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS 1. Prayer of Examination Father, search my heart and reveal anything in me that is not pleasing to You. 2. Prayer of Repentance Lord Jesus, wherever I have lived in disobedience, forgive me and give me grace to turn completely back to You. 3. Prayer for Transformation Holy Spirit, transform my character and produce Your fruit in my life. 4. Prayer for Genuine Faith Father, remove every form of hypocrisy from my life. Let my Christianity be genuine, not merely outward. 5. Prayer for Love Lord, give me grace to love people sincerely, forgive quickly, and represent Christ correctly. 6. Prayer for Perseverance Jesus, when following You becomes difficult, give me strength not to turn back. 7. Prayer for Spiritual Hunger Lord, give me a deeper hunger for Your Word, prayer, holiness, and Your presence. 🔥 STRONG CLOSING: DON'T JUST WEAR THE NAME—CARRY THE NATURE. Church, the greatest question is not: “Am I called a Christian?” The greatest question is: “Does Christ truly live in me?” Don't be satisfied because your name is on a church register. Don't be satisfied because you have a Bible. Don't be satisfied because you attend Christian programs. Don't be satisfied because you can quote Scripture. Don't be satisfied because people call you “Brother” or “Sister.” Make sure you know Jesus. If you have drifted, come back. If you have been pretending, repent. If your faith has become merely religious, return to Christ. If you have never truly surrendered your life to Jesus, today is the day to surrender. Because one day, every religious mask will fall. Every title will disappear. Every reputation will disappear. Every earthly achievement will disappear. And we will stand before Christ. So let our prayer be: > “Lord Jesus, make me a genuine Christian—not merely a Christian by name, but a Christian by nature, character, faith, obedience, and love.” Don't just carry the Bible. Live the Bible. Don't just talk about Jesus. Follow Jesus. Don't just wear the name Christian. Let Christ be seen in you. May our lives preach the Gospel even when our mouths are silent. Scripture calls them the fingerprints of order placed into creation by the Lord. The First Law says energy can be transformed but it cannot appear from nowhere. You cannot pour from an empty cup and the universe cannot magically gain brand new energy. What exists is what was created in the beginning. Nothing in nature creates itself. Nothing summons itself into being. This is exactly what Genesis declares. God alone brought time, matter, and energy into existence. Evolutionists try to smuggle in miracles without a Miracle Worker, but the First Law shuts the door. Nature is not a god. Nature cannot create. The Second Law says everything is slowly wearing out. Energy spreads out. Order breaks down. Rust forms. Cells age. Stars burn their fuel. Nothing naturally becomes more ordered over long periods. Left alone, things move from structure to chaos, not chaos to structure. You can witness this in your home. You never wake up to a room that cleaned itself. Disorder always increases unless someone with intelligence imposes order. This is not just common sense. It is the foundational law that governs all physical reality. And here is the unavoidable truth. Evolution demands the opposite of these laws. It requires brand new information to appear out of nothing and it requires disorder to transform itself into higher, more complex order over millions of years. Yet the First Law says you cannot get something from nothing. The Second Law says you cannot get increasing order without an intelligent cause acting on the system. Both laws stand like immovable pillars. Together they declare that creation needed a Creator. This is why the First and Second Laws should have ended evolution the moment they were discovered. Likely today, you will see what happens whenever these scientific truths trap evolution in a corner. Skeptics run to their favorite objection.. If everything needs a cause, then who created God? They set it up like a trap. But this challenge contradicts the very laws they appeal to. The First Law shows the universe cannot create itself. The Second Law shows the universe is running down, not powering up. Something outside the system had to create the system. Laws do not write themselves. Order does not rise from chaos without an Author. The Bible answers this question with a clarity that silences the confusion. God is eternal. He has no beginning and no ending. He is outside of time and space because He created time and space. He is the uncaused Cause, the One necessary Being who holds all contingent beings together. Without an eternal Lawgiver, the laws of nature have no source. Without an eternal Creator, the universe has no beginning. Evolutionists mock Scripture while ignoring that the Bible gave this explanation long before modern science ever caught up. It is almost like a wink in the text, a reminder to doubters of why everything works the way it does. He is the Alpha and the Omega of the universe. The Beginning and the End. The One who formed the laws that reveal His order. The One who speaks and matter obeys. Thermodynamics does not point to chance. It points straight to the eternal Creator who set all things in motion.

DBF-001-031 continues with John 2:10. The master of the feast recognizes that something unusual has happened: the best wine has been kept until now. We should keep the focus on Christ’s provision and avoid turning the verse into a promise of material abundance. DAILY BREAD FELLOWSHIP DBF-001-032 Today’s Scripture John 2:11 (ESV) “This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him.” Opening the Scriptures John identifies Jesus’ turning water into wine as the first of His signs. This was not merely a remarkable act of kindness at a wedding. It was a sign. A sign points beyond itself. The miracle revealed something about Jesus’ identity, authority, and glory. He was not simply a teacher, prophet, or miracle worker. He was the Son of God, possessing divine power and acting with divine authority. Jesus did not perform this sign to draw attention to Himself in a worldly way. He revealed His glory so that His disciples would see more clearly who He was and believe in Him. The miracle met a real need, but its deepest purpose was spiritual. The wine was temporary. The revelation of Christ was eternal. Living God’s Word Today It is possible to experience God’s blessings without truly recognizing what they reveal about Him. We may thank God for answered prayer, provision, healing, or protection, yet fail to grow in our knowledge of Christ. But God’s works are meant to lead us to worship. Every answered prayer should deepen our trust. Every provision should remind us of God’s faithfulness. Every moment of grace should direct our hearts toward the Savior. The disciples saw what Jesus had done, and they believed in Him. Their faith was not based on vague optimism or personal feelings. It was strengthened by seeing His glory revealed through His works. Our faith also rests on the revelation God has given us through Scripture. We may not witness Jesus turning water into wine, but we have the testimony of those who saw Him, heard Him, and recorded His works for us. John wrote his Gospel so that we would believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing we would have life in His name. Do not stop at admiring what Jesus does. Ask what His works reveal about who He is. He is powerful. He is compassionate. He is faithful. He is worthy of trust and worship. The purpose of every true encounter with Christ is not merely to make life easier. It is to make Him known. Let God’s works lead you to greater faith in Jesus. Question for Today What has God done in your life that has helped you see more clearly who Jesus is? Respond: “Jesus is worthy of my faith and worship.”
