• Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    FRIDAY JULY 24, 2O26.
"DON'T LOOSE YOUR COMPASSIONATE EDGE (2)"

'…Faith…if it does not have works, is dead.’  James 2:17 NKJV

MOTHER TERESA said, ‘The biggest disease today isn’t leprosy or cancer. It’s the feeling of being uncared for, unwanted—of being deserted and alone.’ As a result, she spent her life rescuing sick babies and giving dignity to the dying. Asked why she did it, she replied, ‘Because Jesus did.’ What a great answer! When simultaneous disasters hit different countries around the world, humanitarian organisations say we suffer from ‘donor fatigue’. Let’s add one more: ‘compassion failure.’ Philosopher Miguel de Unamuno wrote, ‘Warmth, warmth, more warmth! For we are dying of cold and not of darkness. It is not the night that kills, but the frost.’ Think about this: of the 1,189 chapters in the Bible, 250 contain the words of the prophets. That’s roughly 25 percent. Half of what they say denounces sin and the other half condemns those who see human suffering and do nothing about it. Yet events that horrified those same prophets take place in our world every day, and we’re immune to them. Like wearing a watch, you get used to it and after a while you don’t even notice it. But the prophets noticed! They never became desensitised to sin—or human suffering. And you mustn’t either. You say, ‘But my main focus at the moment is on building up my faith.’ That’s a good thing; but never forget that ‘Faith by itself, if it does not have works [of compassion], is dead.’

    FRIDAY 24TH JULY, 2026```

    *DON'T BE A COLLATERAL VICTIM* 🫵🏽🏽‍🏽‍🏽🏽‍🏽

    ```TEXT:JOSHUA 12:1-6```
    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east" (JOSHUA 12:1).*_

*There are people who sleep walk into disaster, through either arrogance, pride or sheer hubris. It may be that they had recorded successes in previous battles, or have become famous for their accomplishments. They may deem themselves to be invincible, and either declare a war that's totally unnecessary, or inject themselves into other people's battles. In the end, they become the victims of their ego and exaggerated sense of power and importance.*

*This is what happened to the kings of the nations on the east of River Jordan. The children of Israel were on a journey ordered by the Almighty God. They were heading to the land of Canaan, in fulfilment of the promise God made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Their land was not part of Canaan, and therefore, was not intended to be inherited by the Israelites. The inheritance of the Israelites was to be solely Canaan, the land flowing with milk and honey. But on their way, the Israelites encountered nations that had heard about the supernatural work of God in bringing them out of Egypt. Although the Israelites did not declare war against them, these nations, some out of unfounded fear of losing their territory, and others out of envy and hatred against this nation that had a God that can subdue, humble and defeat Egypt, the great world power of the time, took it on themselves to stop Israel from progressing towards their land of promise. One of such kings was Sihon, king of the Amorites, whose nation was mainly a lush vegetation sandwiched by rivers and plain land that was a haven for pastoralists and for other forms of agriculture. The other king was Og, king of Bashan, a land of the remnants of the giants, with similar topography as the land of the Amorites. When they rose against the Israelites, they were roundly defeated, their kingdoms destroyed and their land confiscated by Moses. He subsequently allocated the land to two and half tribes of Israel, which desired to settle there because it was suitable for their vocation as pastoralists. Had those nations stayed out of the way of the Israelites, they would have remained in their land.*

*We must be wise and not take on battles that are not ours, whether out of sympathy with other people or to prove that we are powerful. As believers, we have more than enough battles against principalities and powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places, against sin and Satan. The armour Christ has given us is intended to defeat these adversaries. It is not to be wasted on self-imposed battles that do not benefit the kingdom of God. Those who engage in the wrong battles suffer great loss, and live to regret it for the rest of their lives. Let us focus on the assignment Christ has given us, namely, taking the gospel to the world of sinners, and endeavouring to bring as many as are willing, into the kingdom of God.*

*Our passage for today unveils simple steps for young people to enjoy God's divine freshness. One, they must abstain from the way, walk, and counsel of the wayward and wicked. Two, they should delight in, read and meditate daily on God's word.*

*Three, they should appropriate the avalanche of God's blessings and prosperity through prayer and faith. Four, they should not meddle with the ungodly. *THE FOOL IN FULL* 🫵🏽🏽‍🏽‍🫸🏽🏽🏽‍🏽

    ```PSALM 53:1-6```
    ```Key Verse:``` _*"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good" (Psalm 53:1).*_

An extract from _Merriam Webster_ dictionary goes thus: *"Something is said to be 'in full' when it has come to the highest or the fullest state of degree, when it is at the uttermost extent or when it is complete, especially in details, number, or duration."*

The fool in full is the greatest fool that will ever live on earth. He breathes in the air made by God, cultivates the soil created by God, and eats out of the produce thereof, lives in the world God created and enjoys the gift of life given by God, to mention a few; and yet, turns around to say "there is no God."

The fool deliberately denies the existence of God despite the many proofs of God's existence. He sees the sun, the moon, the stars, the seas and the uncountable creatures in it, but never pauses to ask: *"Who made the world?"* The things he sees tell him there is God, but in his heart, he refuses to give Him the glory.

There is, however, another fool who accepts there is God but refuses to accept His gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. This category of fools claim they can worship the Living God the way they like. They corrupt the way of worshipping Him; worshipping idols, the work of their hands. The fool can never do what is good before God.

*You should not be a fool. Believe in the only true God and in Jesus Christ, whom He has sent. Turn away from all corrupt and abominable thoughts and actions. Then you will be saved from the foolishness of this world.*

    *REHEARSAL OF GOD'S FAITHFULNESS*

    *TEXT:* JOSHUA 12:1-6.

1.Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:
    2 Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;
3 And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to Bethjeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdothpisgah:
4 And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
5 And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
6 Them did Moses the servant of the LORD and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the LORD gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh.

*Timeless Truth:*_"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits"_ (Psalm 103:2).

    *INTRODUCTION*

From creation, God has been engaged in doing great and new wonders. Some are penned down in the Bible while there are many more that have been experienced by individuals, families, communities and nations since creation of man. The fact that God is immutable guarantees that those miracles can be repeated and increased in greatness and number. One of the greatest ways to strengthen faith is to deliberately rehearse God's faithfulness and meditate on those past wonders of God. Throughout Scripture, God often instructed His people to remember His mighty acts so that they would trust Him for future victories. Israel's conquest of the Amorites under Sihon and the later record of those victories in Joshua remind us that God's past interventions are powerful testimonies of His unfailing covenant. Every believer should cultivate the habit of recalling God's goodness instead of dwelling on past fears or failures. As we recount His faithfulness, our confidence in His promises grows.

    *1.Arrogant Courting of Battles*

Israel peacefully requested passage through the land of Sihon, king of the Amorites, but Sihon arrogantly rejected the request and chose war instead (Numbers 21:21–25). It is the norm in military warfare that you don't fight those who come and prefer peace to war. The worst is to lead them as captives. Sihon had taken pride in defeating Moab and taking her possessions (Numbers 21:26-2). Their victory over Moab was celebrated as it became a song in the land. He was optimistic and emboldened that he could repeat the same feat against Israel. However, he was thoughtless and proud. His pride blinded him to the fact that he was fighting against God's covenant people. It is dangerous and risky to fight against the covenant people of God. The battle ended in complete defeat of Sihon because no human strength can prevail against God's purpose.
    b. Believers have the domineering power of Jesus Christ to crush every power of the adversaries. However, this is not a license for believers to arrogantly court and tempt the people of darkness to unnecessary warfare. When Herod wanted Jesus to perform some miracles for a show of power, Jesus declined because it was unnecessary (Luke 23:8). When Satan tempted Jesus to jump down from the mountain, Jesus also declined because it was an unnecessary show of power. Believers should avoid unnecessary boasting and fight in the name of the Lord that is borne out of arrogance or pride. Believers should never fear opposition, for God remains the Defender of those who trust Him. At the same time, we must guard against pride, remembering that arrogance always invites destruction.

    *Question*

Am I trusting God's strength in life's battles, or am I relying on human confidence and pride?

    *2. Appreciative Counting of Blessings*

Joshua carefully recorded the kings and their land, whom God had delivered into Israel's hands (Joshua 12:1–5). These verses are more than historical records—they are memorials of divine faithfulness. God's people are encouraged to remember every victory and every answered prayer. Gratitude protects the heart from discouragement and unbelief. When we regularly count our blessings, we discover that God's mercies greatly outweigh our trials. Thanksgiving also prepares us to receive greater blessings from the Lord. As the psalmist puts it, *"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits."* This will take a diligent and deliberate effort like Joshua did when he wrote down and recalled the good wonders of God to himself and to the whole Israel.

    *Question*

How often do I deliberately remember and thank God for His past faithfulness in my life?

*3. Additions to Covenant for the Beloved*

    a. The conquered territories were not part of the promised Canaan inheritance. But Sihon and Og lost their land through their pride and arrogance and those blessings were taken from them and added to the children of Israel (Joshua 12:6).
After getting victory, Moses assigned the conquered territory to the tribes of Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh as their inheritance. God's faithfulness extends beyond victory in battle to the fulfillment of His covenant promises.
    b. There are several cases where God took away the assigned blessing of the arrogant and added them to the portion of the godly. Reuben and Esau were supposed to have the double blessings of their first born, but they both lost them through carelessness and profanity. Their blessings were added to Judah and Jacob respectively. Jesus warned the Ephesian Church of loss of ministry if they didn't repent from the loss of their first love and the immoral practices of the Nicolaitans(Revelation 2:5). He also warned the Pastor of Philadelphia that if he was not watchful, his crown would be taken from him and be given or added to another person.
*"Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown"* (Revelation 3:11). Remember, King Saul lost his crown, which was supposed to be generational, to David. The same with Esau and none of them could get his back. Fight and be watchful to retain and enjoy all your blessings and inheritance assigned to you by God.

    *Question*

Am I very watchful and prayerful in ensuring that my blessings and inheritance are not taken from me and transferred to another person?

    *Prayer Points*

1.Heavenly Father, help me always remember and celebrate Your faithfulness in every season of my life .
2.Lord, deliver me from every form of pride, boasting and unnecessary show of power and grant me victory over every battle confronting my faith .
3.Give me a grateful heart that continually counts Your blessings instead of focusing on life's difficulties.
4.Give Your children grace to be watchful and prayerful and don't allow anyone to take their assigned blessings and inheritance .

    2. Morning Prayer for today.

    MP.i. Morning Prayer

A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps. ⏤ Proverbs 16:9

To pray is to let go and let God take over. ⏤ Philip Yancey

O God, our Father, we, Your children, wait for Your blessing before we go out to the work and care of this new day. We thank You for the blessings You gave us in our sleep. You have renewed our strength and restored what yesterday’s toil took from us. We are strong this morning and ready for another day’s work because of the blessings You gave us in our sleep.

We consecrate our lives to You for this new day. Take us and use us as You will. We don’t want to make our own plans, for we are too short-sighted and would only plan for present comfort or earthly success. We would rather have You reveal Your plan for our day. It may not be easy, but we know it is wiser and better than our way could ever be, for You see the end from the beginning, and You choose the best things for us. We lay our plans at Your feet and ask You to use them if they are the best, but if not, to set them aside so that Your plan for the day may work unhindered in us.

We pray for our neighbors. Some of them are sick. Remember them and grant them healing and restoration. Send them Your comfort in their pain, and let them be richly blessed by the experiences they are going through. Some of our neighbors have gone through sorrows. Heal their broken hearts and give them comfort that will make them stronger to bear their grief, and help them find the blessings You have hidden in their sorrow.

Receive us now into Your care for this day; bless us, keep us, and use us as You will. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

*Question* Am I trusting God's strength in life's battles, or am I relying on human confidence and pride? *2. Appreciative Counting of Blessings* Joshua carefully recorded the kings and their land, whom God had delivered into Israel's hands (Joshua 12:1–5). *Question* How often do I deliberately remember and thank God for His past faithfulness in my life? *3. Additions to Covenant for the Beloved* a. *Question* Am I very watchful and prayerful in ensuring that my blessings and inheritance are not taken from me and transferred to another person? *Prayer Points* 1.Heavenly Father, help me always remember and celebrate Your faithfulness in every season of my life 🙏. 2.Lord, deliver me from every form of pride, boasting and unnecessary show of power and grant me victory over every battle confronting my faith 🙏. 3.Give me a grateful heart that continually counts Your blessings instead of focusing on life's difficulties. 4.Give Your children grace to be watchful and prayerful and don't allow anyone to take their assigned blessings and inheritance 🙏. *HYMN:* Count Your Blessings *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* EXODUS 26-29. 2. Morning Prayer for today. MP.i. Morning Prayer A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps. ⏤ Proverbs 16:9 To pray is to let go and let God take over. ⏤ Philip Yancey O God, our Father, we, Your children, wait for Your blessing before we go out to the work and care of this new day. Amen. https://www.youdevotion.com/daily-prayer/miller/19/morning #taptapstudio #youdevotion.

    1. COLOR RED IN NO.7 = BLOOD SACRIFICE — NOT ANGER — LOVE

Isa 53:5 — But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Luke 11:29-30 — This is an evil generation. It seeks a sign, and no sign will be given to it except sign of Jonah prophet.

Jesus said endtimes wicked generation asks for signs — miracles, wonders, prophets — But only ONE sign remains valid: His Death, Burial, Resurrection.

1 Cor 15:3-4 — For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again third day according to Scriptures.

No more die for our sins — Heb 10:10 — We have been sanctified through offering of body of Jesus Christ once for all — Heb 9:28 — So Christ was offered once to bear sins of many.

His return now is not to die again — Heb 9:28 — To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear second time, apart from sin, for salvation — But to pick church with no wrinkle or spot — Eph 5:27.

SIGN OF PROPHET JONAS = DEATH, BURIAL, RESURRECTION — ONLY SIGN IN ENDTIMES Matt 12:39-40 — An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except sign of prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in belly of great fish, so will Son of Man be three days and three nights in heart of earth. By faith — 1 Cor 15:31 — I die daily — Use His death as your death — Your anger, fornication, lie, gossip, masturbation, drunkenness — Put it dead with His death — 1 Pet 2:24 — Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness. B. Use grace of His Burial — Bury old life — No return Rom 6:4 — buried with Him — Col 2:12 — buried with Him in baptism — Bury world — Bury evil altars — Bury ancestor worship — 2 Cor 5:17 — Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Resurrection power gives clean life — Phil 3:10 — That I may know Him and power of His resurrection. This is how living ones prepare — Not by works — By grace of death burial resurrection — Eph 2:8 — For by grace you have been saved through faith. 4. THOSE FALLEN — MAKE SPIRITUAL REVIVAL USING HIS SACRIFICIAL DEATH — WASH YOURSELVES AND BE PURE BEFORE GOD Some living ones have fallen — Fornication, adultery, theft, occult, alcohol — Son says: Make revival NOW — Using sacrificial death — Wash. Eph 5:26-27 — That He might sanctify and cleanse her with washing of water by word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. 1 John 1:7 — But if we walk in light as He is in light, we have fellowship with one another, and blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. • Romans 7:

"1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin."

  • Wigglesworth’s Birth and Boyhood:
    The Salvation Army
When I was sixteen years of age the Salvation Army opened up a work in Bradford. I delighted to be with these earnest Salvation Army people. It was laid very deeply upon me to fast and pray for the salvation of souls in those days, and every week we saw scores of sinners yielding their hearts to Christ.
In the mill where I worked there was a godly man belonging to the Plymouth Brethren. He was a steam-fitter. I was given to him as a helper and he taught me how to do plumbing work. He talked to me about water baptism and its meaning. I can remember that he said to me: “If you will obey the Lord in this, you do not know what He may have for you.” I gladly obeyed the Word of the Lord to be buried with Him in baptism unto death and come forth from that symbolic watery grave to a newness of life in God. I was about seventeen at that time.
It was this good man who taught me about the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus. Again and again when I had a sense that I had failed God, I would be troubled with the thought that the Lord would come and I would not be ready to meet Him. From time to time it was a relief to me to go to work and find this godly man there. Then I knew the Lord had not come in the night and left me behind.
I continued with the Salvation Army because it seemed to me they had more power in their ministry than anybody else at that time. We used to have all nights of prayer. Many would be laid out under the power of the Spirit, sometimes for as long as twenty-four hours at a time. We called that the Baptism in the Spirit in those days. Those early Salvationists had great power and it was manifested in their testimony and in their lives. We would join together and claim in faith fifty or a hundred souls every week and know that we would get them. Alas, today many are not laying themselves out for soul-winning but for fleshly manifestations.
I looked to the Lord, and He surely helped me in everything. When I was eighteen years of age, I went to a plumber to ask for employment. I cleaned up my shoes with an extra shine, put on a clean collar, and applied at the home of this man. He said, “No, I don’t need anyone.” I said, “Thank you, Sir. I am sorry.” The man let me walk down to his gate and then called me back, saying:
“There’s something about you that is different. I just can’t let you go.” He sent me to do a job fitting a row of homes with water piping, which I finished in a week. The master was so amazed that he said, “It cannot possibly be done!” but he went and found the work perfect. He said he could not keep me employed at that speed.
When I was twenty years of age, I moved to Liverpool, and the power of God was mightily upon me. I had a great desire to help the young people. Every week I used to gather around me scores of boys and girls, barefooted, ragged, and hungry. I earned good money, but I spent all of it on food for those children. They would congregate in the sheds in the docks, and what meetings we had!
Hundreds of them were saved. A friend of mine and I devoted ourselves to visiting the hospitals and also the ships. God gave me a great heart for the poor. I used to work hard and spend all I had on the poor and have nothing for myself. I fasted all day every Sunday and prayed, and I never remember seeing less than fifty souls saved by the power of God in the meetings with the children, in the hospitals, on the ships, and in the Salvation Army. These were the days of great soul awakening.
At the Salvation Army meetings the officer in charge would constantly ask me to speak. I cannot tell why he should ask me, for my speech was always broken, weeping before the people. I could not hold back the tears. I would have given a world to be able to speak in a more eloquent way; but like Jeremiah I was a man with a fountain of tears. But as I wept before the people, this often would lead to an altar call. I thank God for those days because the Lord kept me in a broken, contrite spirit. The memory of those Liverpool days is very precious to me.
When I was about twenty-three years of age, I was led to go back to Bradford, and I was strongly led to open up a business for myself as a plumber and give my spare time to helping the Salvation Army. It was there I met the best girl in the world!

  • Romans 6:

"1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

  • THE TRUTH TO OBEY FOR LIFE, & HAVE RIGHTEOUSNESS.. " my people are lost, bcos lack knowledge of Christ! "Hosea 4:6

The restoration of God's Word brings us back to true life and righteousness through faith in Christ alone, not by water baptism.

The thief on the cross was saved instantly by faith without being dipped in water (Luke 23:43). Believers today walk in newness of life by obeying the inward baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Restoration of the Word and righteousness=
The GREEN 7 Vision l saw on the wall after it vanished: Joel 2:28-31, acts26:16.

The color green speaks of life, growth, and restoration. A vision given on the wall may fade from physical sight, but God's eternal truth remains firm.

The Promise of the Spirit: God promised to pour out His Spirit upon all flesh in the last days (Joel 2:28-29).

The Living Word: The written and spoken Word of God wakes up our dead hearts. It calls us back to pure truth and spiritual sight.

    Water BAPTISM vs. Christ's BAPTISM:

JOHN'S WATER BAPTISM: John baptized with water for repentance. It pointed forward to the coming Savior, but it could not wash away sins or give new life.

CHRIST'S Spirit BAPTISM: Jesus baptizes believers with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Drawn into Christ: We are buried with Him by baptism into death through the Spirit (Romans 6:3-4).
One Body: By one Spirit, we are all baptized into one body (1 Corinthians 12:13). Water does not place us into this body; the Spirit does.

    Obedience for Righteousness and Life
Listening to Faith: True obedience today means yielding our hearts completely to the finished work of Jesus Christ.
Walking in the Spirit: Righteousness comes when we stop trusting our own works and trust God's grace.
Bearing Fruit: A heart changed by the Spirit naturally obeys God out of deep love and gratitude.
    Salvation by Faith Alone
A Free Gift: Salvation is the gift of God, not of works, so no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).

The Thief on the Cross: Jesus told the dying thief he would be in Paradise that day (Luke 23:43). The thief had no chance to go to a river for water baptism. His faith in Jesus saved him instantly.
The New Creation: Faith in Christ makes a person brand new on the inside. Grace saves us completely apart from physical rituals.

Am REAGAN a Servant,& a witness of Jesus appointed by Jesus himself to testify that I have seen him to visions l saw the son is speaking to living ones in this last age to obey and be right with God. Joel2:28-31, acts26:16, heb1:1-2. Amen
THE TRUTH TO OBEY FOR LIFE, & HAVE RIGHTEOUSNESS.. " my people are lost, bcos lack knowledge of Christ! "Hosea 4:6 The restoration of God's Word brings us back to true life and righteousness through faith in Christ alone, not by water baptism. The thief on the cross was saved instantly by faith without being dipped in water (Luke 23:43). Believers today walk in newness of life by obeying the inward baptism of the Holy Spirit. Restoration of the Word and righteousness= The GREEN 7 Vision l saw on the wall after it vanished: Joel 2:28-31, acts26:16. Christ's BAPTISM: JOHN'S WATER BAPTISM: John baptized with water for repentance. JONAH & JESUS: THE PERFECT SIGN OF THE MESSIAH — FROM THE FISH TO THE EMPTY TOMB!

    Key Text:
    Matthew 12:39–40
“For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”

Jesus Himself declared that Jonah was a prophetic type, pointing forward to His own death, burial, and resurrection. The Old Testament is filled with types and shadows, but every one of them finds its glorious fulfillment in Jesus Christ.

① JONAH WAS A TYPE — JESUS IS THE ANTITYPE
God used Jonah's experience to foreshadow the greatest event in history.
Jonah entered the belly of the great fish.
    Jesus entered the tomb.
Jonah remained there three days and three nights.
Jesus rested in the heart of the earth before His glorious resurrection.
    Jonah 1:17
    Matthew 12:39–40
    Everything pointed to Christ!

    ② JONAH'S DELIVERANCE POINTED TO CHRIST'S RESURRECTION
Jonah came out alive after three days.
    Jesus rose victoriously over:
    Sin
    Death
    The grave
    Satan himself!
    Acts 2:24
"Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death."
    1 Corinthians 15:55–57
"O death, where is thy sting?... Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

③ JESUS IS GREATER THAN JONAH
    Jesus declared:
    Matthew 12:41
"Behold, a greater than Jonas is here."
    Jonah was only a prophet.
    Jesus is:
    The Son of God
    The Creator
    The Lamb of God
    The King of kings
    Our only Saviour
    Jonah preached repentance...
    Jesus is salvation!

④ THE EMPTY TOMB IS OUR HOPE
    Because Jesus lives...
    Our sins can be forgiven.
    We can receive new life.
    We have victory over death.
We have the promise of eternal life.
    John 11:25
"I am the resurrection, and the life."
    Romans 6:4
"Even so we also should walk in newness of life."

⑤ GOD'S WORD IS PERFECTLY CONNECTED
The Bible has one Author—God Himself.
The Old Testament prepares us for Christ.
    The New Testament reveals Christ.
    Every prophecy...
    Every symbol...
    Every sacrifice...
    Every type...
    Points to Jesus!
    Luke 24:27
"Beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself."
    John 5:39
"They are they which testify of Me."

⑥ THE GREATEST DECISION IS TO FOLLOW JESUS
Jonah was sent to call people to repentance.
    Jesus calls every sinner today.
    Mark 1:15
"Repent ye, and believe the gospel."
The same Saviour who conquered the grave now invites everyone to receive eternal life.
    John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son..."

    LESSONS FOR US TODAY
Trust every promise in God's Word.
Jesus is the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.
The resurrection proves Christ's divine power.
Our hope is found in the risen Saviour.
Live every day in preparation for His soon return.
    Hebrews 9:28
"Unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation."
    Revelation 1:18
"I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore."

    PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us Jesus Christ, the perfect fulfillment of every prophecy and the victorious Saviour who conquered death. [4] We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. [5] For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.
