• Let's talk about it.
    Exodus 20:7

“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

Yes, you use his name in vain by claiming to follow God while living in a way that contradicts His character and holiness.

Yes, you are also a liar because it is written: "Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person" (1 John 2:4).

Do yourself a favor: stop causing the blood of others to be on your hands. Either go all in and surrender your life truly to Jesus and repent, or go all in with your sin. Although you'll go to hell, at least you won't be causing others to stumble and go to hell with you by thinking that your version of following Jesus is the way when it's not.

It's better that one sees you for who you are—a lukewarm, so-called believer—than to hear you talk about Jesus and do things appearing to be for Jesus, while deliberately sinning at the same time.

You are deceiving many as though you are a faithful follower, but you are not. Then you mislead them to become lukewarm like yourself and go to hell.

Jesus said it better: "I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth."

Notice, Jesus said he even wished you would be cold by saying, "I wish you were one or the other," which cold represents being dead in sin, "or hot," which represents living faithfully in righteousness.

Yes, even Jesus gets tired of the foolishness that lukewarm people do, appearing to be for him, wanting to live for him, but also in the world enjoying the flesh at the same time.

You are using his name in vain. You are badly representing him to others, as if he condones sin and worldly living, causing others to stumble and follow your ways straight to hell.

  • Why does a Christian need to cultivate Biblical discernment?
Three reasons why you need Biblical discernment:

Sometimes you hear the right voice (a believer) say the wrong thing. When this happens, if you exercise Biblical discernment, then you’ll understand that the person simply mis-spoke. We’re all human and we all make mistakes. Mis-stating something doesn’t make someone a bad person. It simply means that they’re human…like you.
Sometimes you hear the wrong voice (a non-believer) say the right thing. When this happens, if you exercise Biblical discernment, then you’ll understand that the person didn’t say the right thing to help you; they said what they said to try to mislead you because…
The wrong voice NEVER says the right thing for the right reason.
Now that I’ve stirred up a hornets nest, let me make some clarifications.

The insights I’ve shared in this post only apply to true Christians - followers of Jesus - who live the way they live to glorify God and point people to the Savior, Jesus Christ. And just to be perfectly clear: Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. In fact, He’s the only Savior, which means that there is NO way to connect to God the Father apart from Jesus.
The Biblical discernment I’m referring to is developed over time by making God’s Word (the Bible) a priority, along with praying regularly and fellowshipping regularly with other believers. Biblical discernment is NOT available to unbelievers. So if you want Biblical discernment, but you have not yet surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus, then your next step is to do what the Bible tells us we have to do to connect with the Father through Jesus:
Believe in God the Father and in His only Son, Jesus Christ.
Confess that Jesus is Lord and that the Father raised Him from the dead.
Repent of your sin (your wrongdoing - we’ve all done wrong).
Surrender control of your life to Jesus, who will then become the Lord of your life.
Accept by faith the forgiveness that God offers freely through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.
Believe that you are now justified before God (put in right-standing with God), and that He’s forgiven you of EVERY wrong thing you’ve ever done.
Believe God’s Holy Spirit is now living in you (that’s a mystery, but it’s true), and purpose in your heart to live as God intends, with the help of His Spirit.
Learn to enjoy being in God’s “forever family”, and share with others what’s happened to you. Discover God’s gifts to you, and then use them to make a difference in the lives of other people. Become an ambassador for Jesus! Tell everyone you meet about how He’s changed your life and given you a purpose (a reason for living).
I hope these insights inspire & motivate you to open yourself up to all that God is and all that He has for you! God bless!

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. John 15:12.
What quality is this love? ... A love for the soul that would part with selfish gratifications and practice stern self-denial in order to elevate, ennoble, and sanctify those with whom we associate....God enjoins upon all His followers to bear a living testimony in unmistakable language by their conduct, their dress and conversation, in all the pursuits of life, that the power of true godliness is profitable to all in this life and in the life to come....A cheap Christian character works more harm in the world than the character of a worldling, for professed Christians mislead others by professing to represent Him whose name they assume.....God is love. Whoso dwelleth in God, dwelleth in love. All who have indeed become acquainted ... with the love and tender compassion of our heavenly Father will impart light and joy wherever they may be. Their presence and influence will be to their associates as the fragrance of sweet flowers, because they are linked to God and heaven, and the purity and exalted loveliness of heaven are communicated through them to all that are brought within their influence...You can surround your souls with an atmosphere that will be like zephyrs from the heavenly Eden..[ FLB 235.]

  • #Pastors #without a #proper #spiritual #foundation can #mislead and #damage the lives of #believers, and Christians without a proper biblical foundation can weaken and harm the growth of the church.

The strength of the church depends on both godly leadership and mature believers who are grounded in the Word of God.

    Scripture:
    Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...

    Matthew 7:24 say
Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.

A pastor must build on Christ, the solid foundation, and believers must grow in truth, obedience, and spiritual maturity. When leaders lack foundation, they can lead people astray; when believers lack foundation, they can become easily deceived and become a source of division.

The foundation determines the future of the church.

  • Greetings

    **## My Today's Meditation**

Please do not take this personally.

    **Reflection Points:**

"If my pride stop me not to learn, accept the truth, what will I gain?"

    - What is Christianity without love?

    - Must you show me love only when I am your kind, your relation?

When I make mistake, will you correct me out of love or anger?

    - Can you forgive me when I wrong you?

    - Does the business I do, life I live, bless God and man or the opposite?
Why can't you tell him the truth than going behind to destroy his image?

    - Will it bring curse upon my generation?

    - Am I forgetting I will die one day?

    - What will be my legacy, what people will love to copy from my once lived life?

    - What do you gain praying for the downfall of others, wishing failure to the common man?

    - What will you gain using your position, money, properties to oppress and mislead others?

    - Do you love hurting others?

    - Would you like that to happen to you?

    - Can you help me without expecting something in return?

    - Must I have enough before I share?

    - Must I be perfect before I learn to change?

    - What if I was the one in need, how would I love to be treated?

    - How many times do you pray for others and show love, mercy, forgiveness, and kindness like God did to you?

    - Am I really qualified to judge one another?

    - Do you know all you’re fighting for is vanity and naked you shall go back?

    **Key Scriptures:**
**Matthew 7:12** - *"So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them."*

    **1 Corinthians 13:1-2** - *"If I have not love, I am nothing."*

    *Legacy Reminder: Ngongang Yanick Nzepang.*

Pls you can help share to groups, friends and see the power in God's words.

  • TODAY'S MESSAGE

    SERMON THEME;

THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE END-TIME GENERATION

    Main Text: 2 Timothy 3:1–5

    > "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come..." (2 Timothy 3:1, KJV)

    Introdction

The Bible clearly teaches that before the second coming of Jesus Christ, the world will experience a period known as the last days or end times. This generation will witness both remarkable spiritual opportunities and intense moral decline. While technology, knowledge, and communication will increase, many hearts will grow cold toward God.
As believers, we are called not merely to recognize the signs of the times but to remain faithful, holy, and prepared for Christ's return.
    > "Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come." — Matthew 24:42

    Characteristics of the End-Time Generation

    1. People Will Become Lovers of Themselves

    Bible Text: 2 Timothy 3:2

Selfishness will replace selflessness. Many will pursue personal pleasure, fame, and success above God.

Lesson: Christians must live lives of humility and service.
    2. Love of Money Will Dominate Hearts

    Bible Text: 2 Timothy 3:2

Material wealth will become an idol. Many will compromise truth for financial gain.

    Supporting Verse:

    > "For the love of money is the root of all evil." — 1 Timothy 6:10
    3. Moral Decay and Sin Will Increase
    Bible Text: Matthew 24:12

Sin will become normal, and righteousness will be mocked.

Lesson: Believers must stand firmly for holiness despite societal pressure.
    4. Many Will Reject God's Authority

    Bible Text: Romans 1:21–25

Human wisdom will replace divine truth, and many will refuse God's commandments.
    5. False Prophets and False Teachings Will Increase

    Bible Text: Matthew 24:11

Many deceptive teachers will arise and mislead people through distorted doctrines.
Warning: Test every teaching by the Word of God.
    6. Knowledge Will Increase

    Bible Text: Daniel 12:4

Scientific discoveries and technology will expand rapidly.
Application: Use modern technology to spread the Gospel rather than promote sin.
    7. Wars and Global Conflicts

    Bible Text: Matthew 24:6–7

Jesus foretold wars, rumors of wars, famines, earthquakes, and unrest.
These remind us that the return of Christ is drawing nearer.
    8. The Gospel Will Reach the Nations

    Bible Text: Matthew 24:14

Despite increasing darkness, the Gospel will continue to spread across the world.
This is the Church's greatest mission.
    9. Many Will Have a Form of Godliness Without Power

    Bible Text: 2 Timothy 3:5

Religion without genuine transformation will become widespread.
God desires transformed hearts, not empty religious rituals.
    10. The Faithful Will Endure to the End

    Bible Text: Matthew 24:13

Those who remain steadfast in faith will receive eternal life.
Perseverance is essential for every believer.

    Lessons for Believers

    Stay rooted in God's Word.
Live a holy and obedient life.

  • Need to know.
BE CAREFUL WHO YOU FOLLOW ,,NOT EVERY “MAN OF GOD” IS FROM GOD

We are living in a generation where not everything that looks like light is truly from God. Deception has become subtle, attractive, and dangerous. If you are not spiritually alert, you can easily be led in the wrong direction without even knowing it.

Child of God, let this sink deep into your heart.

Not every “man of God” is truly sent by God.

This is the truth many people avoid, but it must be said. In these times, many are following miracles, signs, and prophecies without seeking God for discernment. And because of that, many souls are being misled daily.

Do not be quick to trust just because you see miracles.
Do not surrender your heart because someone gives accurate prophecies.
Do not be carried away by what looks powerful on the outside.

The Bible clearly warns us in 1 John 4:1:
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God.”

Not every power comes from Heaven.

Yes, there are powers that are not of God, even though they may look spiritual. That is why you must be careful. The enemy also operates with signs and wonders.

    2 Corinthians 11:14 says:
“Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.”

So what does that mean for you?

It means miracles alone are not proof.
    Crowds are not proof.
    Fame is not proof.

    You must look deeper.

Before you follow anyone, take time to observe:

    Watch their fruits.
    Study their lifestyle.
    Listen to their teachings carefully.
Check if their life reflects holiness, truth, and alignment with God’s Word.

Jesus made it clear in Matthew 7:16:
“By their fruits you shall know them.”

    Not by their miracles.
    Not by their popularity.
But by their fruits , their character, their integrity, their obedience to God's ten (all ten) commandments.

    Ask yourself honestly:
Is this leading me closer to God or further away?
Is my spirit growing or becoming confused?
Is this truth or just emotional excitement?

Child of God, this is not the time to be careless.

    Pray for discernment.
Stay rooted in the Word of God.
    Do not follow blindly.

Deception does not always look evil , sometimes it looks convincing, attractive, and even “anointed.”

But the Spirit of God will never mislead you.

May God open your eyes to see clearly.
May He guide your steps and protect you from every form of deception.

    TEACHING SUMMARY:

In these last days, discernment is not optional, it is necessary for survival. Do not judge by appearances, miracles, or popularity. Test every spirit, examine the fruits, and let the Word of God be your standard. Only what is rooted in truth will stand.

    God bless you.
