Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: and he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding. Daniel 2:20, 21.
Behold the Jewish captive, calm and self-possessed, in the presence of the monarch of the world's most powerful empire. In his first words he disclaimed honor for himself and exalted God as the source of all wisdom. To the anxious inquiry of the king, “Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof?” he replied: “The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, show unto the king; but there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days.” ...

In the annals of human history, the growth of nations, the rise and fall of empires, appear as if dependent on the will and prowess of man; the shaping of events seems, to a great degree, to be determined by his power, ambition, or caprice. But in the word of God the curtain is drawn aside, and we behold, above, behind, and through all the play and counterplay of human interest and power and passions, the agencies of the All-merciful One, silently, patiently working out the counsels of His own will....

In the history of nations the student of God's word may behold the literal fulfillment of divine prophecy. Babylon, shattered and broken at last, passed away because in prosperity its rulers had regarded themselves as independent of God, and had ascribed the glory of their kingdom to human achievement.... The kingdoms that followed were even more base and corrupt; and these sank lower and still lower in the scale of moral worth.

The power exercised by every ruler on the earth is Heaven-imparted; and upon his use of the power thus bestowed, his success depends.... To recognize the outworking of these principles in the manifestation of His power who “removeth kings, and setteth up kings”—this is to understand the philosophy of history.1Prophets and Kings, 494-502.

WHAT DO YOU SEE?
This is one of the most powerful question ever asked in the scripture. It is deliberate. This is because your answer to this question, changes everything in and around you. It is the foundation for every genuine change. It is what makes the whole difference in a man's life. What do you see?

God is not responsible for everything happening to you. The devil is not either. You are at the centre of everything happenings in your life. You are a decider, a contributor, a partner to the decision making process of the changes, events and activities of your life. "I leave everything in God's hands", is an ignorant man's submission. God has so much in his hands already. So leaving yours in his hands, creates a difficult situation for you. The day you understand this truth and leave by it, your life will begin to take a new shape.

What do you see? CHANGE, PROGRESS, SOLUTION, VICTORY; BEGINS WITH WHAT YOU SEE. This is the first step to a breakthrough or a breakdown. The reason is: LIFE, GOD, is only committed to what you see. What you say, is a conclusion, but what you see is a decision. Many have decided their destiny long before it happens by their constant projection of their thoughts and imagination.

Until you change what you see, you can't change WHAT YOU SEE. To others, they see nothing. No wonder life and God is delivering nothing to them. Do you see failure or success? Do you see frustration or manifestation? Do you see disappointment or appointment? Do you see marital settlement, financial turnaround, Favour and God's goodness? If YES, NOW, go ahead and declare them upon your self. Say it loud, let the heavens and earth hear it. Say out loud what you see. For me, I see transformation, from glory to glory in Jesus precious name. Be blessed, Stay refreshed!

Keep Focus!
"Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions." Proverbs 4:25 (MSG)

Keep focus! Don’t be distracted! Faith without focus is frustration. Prayer without focus is paralysis. Fasting without focus is failure.

At the root of every advancement is focus. It is focus that will direct your talent and your gifts. It is your level of focus that will determine your level of placement as no great destiny emerges without focus. Focus means to be totally committed or absorbed in a specific assignment. It is the ability to gaze unwaveringly into every issue at hand without distractions. Focus does not come naturally, yet it is essential for anyone who wants to fulfill his or her life assignment. Talent with focus directs you and this has the potential to take you far. Focus creates the platform for manifestation and manifestation makes you a centre of attraction which compels attention in your favour. Happy new month. This is your day.

Prayer: Everlasting Father, thank You for the gift of work and the skills You have given me. I declare total quietness from any noise that may come around me or inside my head. I receive a calm spirit and a clear mind to handle every task in front of me. Help me Lord to let go of worries and stop my attention from wandering. Give me the self-control and strength to finish whatever I start in Jesus' name.

Prayer With Character Is Priceless

Bible Text: Philippians 1:9–10 (KJV)
“And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.”

Prayer with character is priceless.

Many pray in church without allowing prayer to transform their character. They come to church to pray without truly understanding the essence of prayer—to mould them, break them, refine them, and conform them to the image of Christ.

Some pray selfishly, seeking only self-love, personal gratification, and the fulfilment of their own desires. But the true state of the heart is often revealed when trials come or when they face challenges that do not align with their expectations. It is then you realize that, despite all their prayers, they still have a long way to go.

Prayer is not merely an activity we perform; it is an encounter with God that should produce transformation in us.

Without character, prayer can become an activity without manifestation—words spoken from the lips without corresponding transformation in the life.

The prayer that truly matters is not only the prayer that changes our circumstances, but the prayer that changes us.

A life that is continually shaped, refined, humbled, and transformed by God gives substance to its prayers.

Dear Father,

There's a concept I'd like to discuss that may or may not be applicable in every regard: manifestation is often strengthened by ample time and fervency in preparation. When Jesus was twelve years old, He went with Joseph and Mary to Jerusalem, where He went missing. The Scripture records that, “After three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.”

I initially intended to assume that Jesus began preparing for ministry when He was twelve years old. But if, at twelve, the doctors were already astonished by His responses to their questions, then there was more to His preparation than the Scripture tells us. And it gets interesting because He began His ministry at thirty and ended it at thirty three. So perhaps, it took Him eighteen years, plus the time that was not stated, to prepare for what lasted for three and a half years. And it is easy to think, “Why should I be surprised by Jesus’ display of wisdom at twelve?” But the Scripture tells us “He grew in wisdom and understanding.”

I believe I can take from this that the greater the assignment, the more time may be required for preparation. This revelation can help us in seasons when we grow weary because it seems as though the world has moved on and we are stuck, all the while preparing and watching others soar.

Every assignment carries its own appointed time in destiny. Perhaps we would be more intentional about how we prepare if we remain aware of the magnitude and uniqueness of our assignment, rather than allow ourselves be consumed by the length of time it requires.

Prayer for the Gifts of the Spirit and Healing Power in the Church Today

Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ,

I come before You today asking that Your Holy Spirit have full liberty to move throughout the church. Let every ministry, every minister, every servant, and every member yield themselves completely to You.

Father, let the gifts of the Spirit manifest according to Your perfect will. Give wisdom, knowledge, faith, discernment, prophecy, healing, miracles, tongues, and interpretation as You see fit. Let every gift operate in love, humility, order, and for the edifying of the body of Christ.

“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.” — 1 Corinthians 12:7

Lord, fill Your ministers and Your people afresh with the Holy Ghost. Give pastors, preachers, teachers, evangelists, worship leaders, singers, musicians, intercessors, and every ministry servant boldness and sensitivity to Your Spirit.

“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.” — Ephesians 5:18

Father, let the healing power of the Holy Ghost manifest in the church today. Stretch forth Your hand to heal the sick, the hurting, the brokenhearted, and those who are suffering. Let faith arise in the hearts of Your people.

“And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people.” — Acts 5:12

Lord Jesus, You are still our Healer. Let Your healing mercy touch bodies, minds, hearts, and spirits. Bring comfort to those who are hurting and strength to those who are weak.

“Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him.” — James 5:14

Holy Spirit, have Your way in every service today. Let there be no confusion, pride, competition, or striving for recognition. Let everything be done for the glory of God and the building up of His people.

“Let all things be done decently and in order.” — 1 Corinthians 14:40

Father, let the preaching of Your Word be accompanied by the demonstration of Your power. Let unbelievers see Your goodness, let the lost be saved, let the bound be set free, let the discouraged receive hope, and let the sick receive prayer and comfort.

“For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” — 1 Corinthians 4:20

Lord, increase the faith of Your church. Teach us to seek the Giver more than the gifts. Let every spiritual gift point people toward Jesus Christ and bring glory to Your holy name.

“Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts.” — 1 Corinthians 14:1

Father, pour out Your Spirit upon the church today. Let worship rise, let prayer rise, let faith rise, and let Your presence fill the house.

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh.” — Acts 2:17

I pray that every ministry would function according to the calling You have placed upon it. Give each person grace to serve faithfully, courage to obey You, and discernment to know when and how the Holy Spirit is leading.

Let there be salvations, deliverances, healings, restoration, reconciliation, repentance, miracles, signs, wonders, and powerful testimonies, all according to Your will and all bringing glory to Jesus Christ.

“And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple... did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God.” — Acts 2:46–47

Heavenly Father, have Your way in the church today. Let the Holy Spirit move freely. Let Your Word go forth with power. Let Your healing presence touch those who need You. Let every ministry operate in love and unity, and let Jesus Christ be exalted above everything.

“Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” — Zechariah 4:6

In the mighty, powerful, and precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Romans 8:

"1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.” — Isaiah 60:1
1. “ARISE”
God is calling you to get up from every position of limitation, discouragement, delay, and spiritual weakness.
“Arise” means:
Get up and move forward.
Refuse to remain where you have been.
Take your spiritual life seriously.
Step into what God has called you to do.
Rise above fear and discouragement.
Sometimes God has already provided the opportunity, but we must arise and respond.
2. “SHINE”
God did not say, “try to shine.” He said “shine.”
Your light represents the life of God in you—your faith, character, testimony, gifts, calling, and good works.
Jesus said:
“Ye are the light of the world.” — Matthew 5:14
Your shining is not about making yourself famous. It is about allowing God’s glory in your life to become visible to others.
3. “FOR THY LIGHT IS COME”
This is very important.
God says your light has come. It speaks of a season where darkness does not have the final word.
What was hidden can become visible.
What was delayed can begin to move.
What looked impossible can receive divine intervention.
But notice: the command to arise comes together with the declaration that the light has come.
In other words: “Get up, because what you have been waiting for is beginning to manifest.”
4. “THE GLORY OF THE LORD IS RISEN UPON THEE”
This is deeper than material blessing.
The glory of God speaks of His presence, power, favor, and manifestation upon your life.
When God's glory rests upon someone:
Their life becomes a testimony.
Their gifts can make room for them.
Their ministry can impact others.
People can see God's work in their life.
They can become a blessing to others.
Look at Isaiah 60:2–3
The next verses explain Isaiah 60:1:
“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.”
Notice the contrast:
Darkness → but the Lord arises.
Confusion → but His glory appears.
Your rising → people are drawn to the light.
So Isaiah 60 is not simply saying, “You will be blessed.” It is saying God wants His glory to become visible through your life so that your life can become a source of light to others.

Prayer from Isaiah 60:1
Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive Your word: “Arise, shine.” Every power keeping me down, let it be broken in Jesus' name. Let every darkness around my life give way to the light of God. Let Your glory rise upon me. Let my gifts, calling, ministry, family, and destiny reflect Your glory. Open doors that no man can shut. Let my life become a testimony and a blessing to others. I arise from every limitation, I arise from discouragement, I arise from delay, and I arise into the purpose of God for my life. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
