Let's talk about it. “When looking at these four chapters in which Michael appears, we immediately notice that Michael is in conflict with Satan in each of these stories. Michael is the title used for Christ whenever He is at war with Satan. It is also the title connected to Him as the chief of the angels, or leader of the angels. Lucifer was next only to Christ, or Michael, among the angels. Christ’s title as Michael is a reminder that Lucifer rebelled against the chief of the angels and desired to be like God. In each case described in Scripture when Christ takes the title of Michael, He is victorious. The final victory occurs in Daniel 12: 1. At the end of the world, Michael stands up to deliver a faithful generation who have proven Satan’s charges false. Here in Revelation 12, Michael the archangel, or the chief angel, has a litany of angels on His side. The dragon, or Satan, has angels on his side. It is a polemical war that is fought over Satan’s lies against the government of God and Christ’s place in that government. In verse 8, we see that Satan and his angels did not prevail. There was no place in heaven for his lies and for the dissension he had created.” — Revelation: Practical Living in the Judgment Hour by Norman McNulty

Prayer Points • God, You are a consuming fire. Let the enemies of Your Church be consumed. • I declare by the power of the Holy Spirit, let every witch infiltrating my church fall to the ground by Holy Spirit fire, in the name of Jesus. • I destroy every astral-projecting witch that has come into my congregation. I paralyze and destroy their evil plans now, in the name of Jesus. • Any witch that has infiltrated our services and released witchcraft, I ask You, Holy Spirit, to expose them now in the name of Jesus. • Lord, let the fire of the Holy Spirit come upon the heads of every astral-projecting witch or any witch that has infiltrated our congregation or any demonic influence that has gripped the leadership of my church. I destroy it now in the name of Jesus. • I release the fire of God against every witch, warlock, warlord, wizard, sorcerer and root worker that has infiltrated my church in the name of Jesus. • Every agent of Satan astral projecting into the church at night, I cut the silver cord by the fire of the Holy Spirit. • I loose the terror of God upon every agent of the devil that is visiting members of my church in the name of Jesus. • I pray the fire of the Holy Spirit to fall upon every witch that is sitting in my church, until they confess their wickedness in the name of Jesus. • Let the path of the wicked that the devil assigned against my church be slippery; let them spiral down into destruction until they repent in Jesus’ name. • I destroy the ministers of witchcraft in my church in the name of Jesus. • I bind all witchcraft, demonic words and spells that have come against my church and my pastors and leaders in the name of Jesus. • I demolish every witchcraft plot, device and scheme that is aimed to stop the growth of my church in the name of Jesus. • Any satanic plantings or burials in my church grounds, die now in the name of Jesus. • I declare a wall of fire around myself, the congregation and my pastors in the name of Jesus. • Today I loose the mind, hands and feet of every leader and member of my church in the name of Jesus. • I reverse every curse, witchcraft and sorcery against any members and leaders of my church in the name of Jesus. • May the drinkers of blood and eaters of flesh that have mingled themselves with my church members be separated from them now in the name of Jesus. • I wash away with the blood of Jesus every witchcraft mark on me or any brothers and sisters and pastors or leaders in my church in the name of Jesus. • I bind all witchcraft meetings that are taking place against my church in the name of Jesus. • I recover any blessings stolen from my church through witchcraft in the name of Jesus. • I loose my church leaders and all members from any satanic attack in the name of Jesus. • I take back all territorial ground I have given up by compromising; I am taking it back in the name of Jesus. • I place the pastors and ministers in the hands of the Holy Spirit for divine protection against Satan and his kingdom, in Jesus’ name. • Today I frustrate every plot, plan and scheme, every demonic agenda of witchcraft that has been aimed to destroy my church, in the name of Jesus. • Every article, sermon, teaching and preaching stolen from my church by witches to manipulate and cast fear, I expose them now in the name of Jesus. • I declare the goodness and mercy of God to be poured out by the Holy Spirit upon my leaders and upon my brothers and sisters, in Jesus’ name.

Guidelines for living. August 31st, 2026 What is a Creed? For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 The industrialist Henry Ford used to say that he knew the Church was a divine institution because, contended Ford, no other organization so poorly organized and run would have survived for 2000 years. Going beyond the satire of what he said, there is a measure of truth in his statement. After the resurrection, the followers of Jesus were left without an organization, with no financial base, and really without an organized plan for survival and growth. They had no buildings, no leader, and no game plan. It was almost fifteen years before Saul - known to history as the Apostle Paul - came on the scene. What held them together? What gave them cohesiveness? John, one of the youngest of the Twelve, partly answered that question at the end of his life. He wrote, "We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us" (1 John 1:3). Simply put, two things were the basis of agreement and fellowship: what they had seen, and what they had heard, which began to be passed from generation to generation. One of the challenges confronting the church is this old issue: What brings us together and what keeps us together? Music won't do it anymore; neither will a unified translation of the Bible, though the Bible itself is our age-abiding source of authority and belief. But is there more? Shortly after the resurrection of Christ, men and women from different parts of the world began asking, "What do we really believe?" and "Is it the same everywhere?" The answers to those questions are contained in what are called the creeds of the church. Like you, perhaps, in the early years of my Christian experience, I thought of creeds and statements of faith as things that were rather dull and boring, of a historical nature. I wanted life and liberty. But eventually I came to appreciate the fact that the historical creeds of the church are something like the steel or iron bands that held the staves of an old-fashioned wooden barrel together. Remember the old wooden barrels of bygone years that held cider and apples and that sort of produce? Around the world there are different groups with different cultures and sometimes differing views of the truth of God's Word. They are much like the staves of a barrel, but the concise statements of creeds are like the iron bands that hold it all together. Within is the treasure of what God has revealed in His Word. In an age of diversity and fragmentation, we need to know what is important and why, which means taking a look at what has been believed from the days of the Early Church to the present. The earliest creed or statement of faith was included in Paul's letter to the Corinthians about 56 AD. He wrote, "For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Pretty simple: Christ died, He was buried, He rose again the third day. Over a period of years, especially when someone came along with strange or heretical beliefs, Christians said, "Whoa! Wait a minute! We don't believe that!" and they called church councils who took a hard look at what was commonly believed to be true, and the statement of faith expanded. Usually, the councils of the church simply recognized what God's Holy Spirit had universally impressed upon people. What do you believe, anyway? THE MISSING PIECE “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” —John 3:16 Jesus’ retreat to the Garden of Gethsemane began a bad stretch of time for the Apostle Peter. First, he fell asleep on his watch after Jesus asked him to stay alert. Second, according to John 18:10, when Jesus’ enemies came to arrest Him, “Then Simon Peter drew a sword and slashed off the right ear of Malchus, the high priest’s slave” (NLT). And then, later that same night, when he was recognized as one of Jesus’ followers, Peter denied even knowing Jesus—not once, not twice, but three times. Can you identify with a guy like that? I know that it’s sometimes hard to imagine what God is up to in your life. You see a blank canvas, but God sees a finished painting. You see a piece of coal, but God sees a refined diamond. You see an untalented person, but God sees a mighty man or woman of God. This is also true of those we see in Scripture. We see an impetuous, impulsive Simon, but God sees a strong, decisive Apostle named Peter. We see a conniving, manipulative Jacob, but God sees a godly, trusting man named Israel. We see a young, naïve Joseph, but the Lord sees a brilliant, wise world leader. And when it was all said and done, Joseph was able to look back and say to his brothers, “You meant evil against me; but God meant it for good” (Genesis 50:20 NKJV). He recognized that God used what happened to him to mold him into a compassionate, forgiving leader of many. He was clay in the Potter’s hands. He trusted in the Lord. God specializes in making something out of nothing. I wonder what He’s doing with you right now. You’re a work in progress, and He isn’t finished yet. If you’re still alive and reading this, God has more work to do in your life! Most artists don’t like someone looking over their shoulders, trying to second-guess what they’re about to do. “Wait until I’m done,” they’ll say, “and then you’ll see.” So, trust in the Lord during those times when it’s hard to see what He’s doing. Don’t allow the hardships you face to make you a bitter person. It’s time to let go of that. Rather, allow them to make you a better person. Isaiah 64:4 says, “For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait for him!” (NLT). That night in Gethsemane was hardly the end of Peter’s story. After Jesus rose from the grave and ascended back to Heaven, Peter became one of the key leaders of the early Christian church, boldly proclaiming the gospel throughout the Roman Empire and beyond. No matter what your past is like, and no matter where you are in your Christian journey, God has something important planned for you. God bless you!

Sts. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus St. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus were very prominent Jews and were members of the supreme Jewish Council called Sanhedrin. Mathew called Joseph as a rich man and Luke called him as a good and upright man. Even though Joseph was a very important Jewish leader, he believed in the coming kingdom of God and started believing that Jesus might be the Messiah. Luke calls him a good and upright man. After the death of Jesus on the cross at Golgotha, Joseph courageously met Pilate, the Procurator of Judea, in person and asked him the body of Jesus. Pilate also ordered to handover the body of Jesus to Joseph, after confirming from the guards that Jesus died on the cross. Joseph then wrapped the body of Jesus with 100 pounds of myrrh and aloes brought by Nicodemus, in fine linen and buried in a cave tomb hewn for him. Nicodemus helped Joseph in all these activities and he only brought the myrrh and aloes to anoint Jesus. Joseph and Nicodemus have given an honorable burial to Jesus following the Jewish burial procedure. Nicodemus was a secret disciple of Jesus and he came to Jesus one night to listen to His teachings and praised Jesus Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God; for no man can do these miracles you have done (John 3: 2). When the Chief priest sent guards to arrest Jesus, they did not brought Jesus. When the Chief Priests and the Pharisees condemned the officers who have said no one talked like Him (Jesus), they cursed them. But Nicodemus told them whether our laws judge anyone before hearing what had happened (John\-7:45\-51). Nicodemus made this comment naturally in support of Jesus. REMEMBER YOUR SOURCE Never forget where you came from or who helped you get to where you are today. You cannot crown yourself a king. Behind every king, there is a kingmaker. Behind every great leader, there are people who believed in, supported, and gave that leader the opportunity to lead. Leadership is not something you simply declare for yourself. A true leader is chosen by the people, trusted by the people, and accountable to the people. You did not make yourself. Someone opened a door. Someone gave you a chance. Someone taught you. Someone stood with you when you were still becoming the person you are today. Great men are made—not born by themselves. Therefore, never become so powerful that you forget your beginning. Never become so comfortable in your position that you believe you are irreplaceable. Positions can change. Titles can be taken away. People can move on. And the same people who helped put you there may one day choose someone else. Never mistake a position for permanent ownership. If you are given the privilege to lead, lead with humility. If you are given influence, use it to lift others. If you are given power, remember that power is temporary. And if you are celebrated today, remember those who stood with you when nobody knew your name. Stay humble. Remember your source. Respect your people. Because leadership is a privilege, not a personal possession. You may be on the throne today, but never forget the hands that helped put you there. #hashtag
