Some of our precious children are living with sickle cell anemia, a condition that brings them constant pain, weakness, and frequent hospital visits. Every month, we must take them for medical checkups and, whenever necessary, blood transfusions to keep them alive. As caregivers, it is heartbreaking to watch a child cry in pain, struggle to play with others, or become so weak that they can barely smile. Some nights we lie awake wondering how we will meet their medical needs for the next month. The cost of their monthly checkups and care is about $270, an amount that is very difficult for us to raise. Yet these children depend on this care to survive. Without regular treatment and monitoring, their lives are placed at serious risk. Today, we are not only asking for support—we are asking for your prayers. Please pray for healing.
