🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 243 DATE: 31ST AUGUST 2026 TOPIC: BLASPHEMING THE HOLY SPIRIT ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: Matthew 12:31 (NKJV) “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.” — Devotional message The words of Jesus in our anchor Scripture are among the most serious warnings He gave concerning the Holy Spirit.The religious leaders had witnessed Jesus casting out demons, yet instead of acknowledging the work of God, they deliberately attributed His work to Beelzebub, the ruler of demons. Their problem was not simply that they misunderstood what had happened. They were confronted with the manifest work of God's Spirit and deliberately called it the work of Satan.The context is important. Jesus was specifically addressing the deliberate and hardened attribution of the Spirit's work to Satan. Therefore, we should never approach this subject carelessly or create unnecessary fear in believers who are genuinely seeking God. At the same time, we must walk in reverence, discernment, and humility concerning the things of God.We should never casually call something the work of the devil when God is genuinely at work. Likewise, we should not call something God's work when we know that it was produced through ungodly means. Sometimes people attribute their success, promotion, business, wealth, relationships, or achievements to God while knowing that they obtained them through compromise, dishonesty, corruption, manipulation, or other ungodly means.You cannot deliberately compromise God's principles and then use God's name to justify the outcome. The fact that something succeeded does not automatically mean that God approved the method used to obtain it.God is concerned not only about the result but also about the righteousness of the process.If God gives you a promotion, give Him the glory.If God blesses your business, give Him the glory.If God entrusts you with children, honour Him with how you raise them.If God gives you influence, use it to advance His Kingdom.If God gives you resources, steward them faithfully. YOU’RE NOT SUBJECT TO YOUR THOUGHTS Be Careful For Nothing; But In Every Thing By Prayer And Supplication With Thanksgiving Let Your Requests Be Made Known Unto God (Philippians 4:6 KJV). In the Christian life, you must learn to manage your thoughts. You must know what to do with the thoughts that come to your mind every day. Your victory or defeat often begins with the thoughts you choose to dwell on. That’s why the Spirit gives this instruction: “Be Careful For Nothing.” The word “Careful” is translated from the Greek "merimnaō", which means to take thought. It’s the same word the Lord Jesus used in Matthew 6:25 when He said, “…Take no thought for your life….” It tells you something very important—you don’t have to accept every thought that comes to you. Thoughts come constantly. Even now, your mind is active. There’s a barrage of thoughts coming from different directions. It could be about your work, your family, something you heard, something you saw, etc. But you don’t have to “Take” them. The moment you “Take” a thought, you centre your mind on it. You begin to dwell on it, and as you do, it starts shaping your emotions and influencing your actions. The wrong thoughts are distractions. They’re designed to pull your attention away, to create concern, anxiety, or unrest. That’s why the Word shows you the kind of thoughts to accept: “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (Philippians 4:8). Don’t entertain troubling thoughts. Don’t ruminate on them or convert them into prayer points. Remember, you’re not subject to your thoughts; you’re the one who decides what thoughts to allow. It’s the reason for the renewing of the mind: “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2). When your mind is stayed on, and renewed by the Word, it becomes sanctified to decipher and dwell only on the right thoughts. And when your thoughts are right, your words will be right, your life will be right, excellent and full of glory. MINISTERS OF THE ALTAR OF GOD SERVING GOD WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING Beloved, you and I were called to serve God with fear and trembling. Say: Amen! What a great privilege it is to be called by God! We were not called only to receive salvation. We were also called to serve. You may not be able to imagine the honor and privilege of being a servant of the living God. God loved the whole world. He called people from all nations. And among those who believed, many were reached by salvation. But in the midst of this multitude of saved people, God also chose some to perform specific functions in His Kingdom. Say: Amen! All those who are saved are servants of God. But there are those who were specifically called to certain services within the work. Some are workers, others are pastors, others teachers, others evangelists, others prophets, and others were called to different ministries and responsibilities. God distributed the gifts and offices according to His will, so that each one could work in His harvest. Say: Amen! And Paul teaches us that each person should remain in the calling to which they were called. Whoever was called to give, let them give. Whoever was called to comfort, let them comfort. Whoever was called to teach, let them teach. Whoever was called to preach, let them preach. Each one must faithfully fulfill what God has placed in their hands. Because no one did anything to deserve being chosen. Neither for salvation nor for service. It is all by the grace of God. Say: Amen! Therefore, serving the living God is an extraordinary privilege. We are not serving just any god. We are serving the living God, in the living Church. And this must make a difference in the way we serve. We cannot treat the things of God as a joke, as something ordinary or unimportant. Unfortunately, when people lose the fear of God, Christian service can become entertainment. The church begins to be treated as a place of shows, celebrations, conferences, congresses, and activities that, many times, cease to put God at the center. But the living Church needs servants who have fear, reverence, zeal, and responsibility before the work of God. Say: Amen! Serving God with fear and trembling means understanding that what we are doing is holy and important. We need to have zeal for the work. We need to have responsibility for what God has placed in our hands. We need to respect the calling. We need to respect the Word. We need to respect the house of God and the people of God. We cannot play with what God considers serious. Say: Amen! The time of childishness, of playing around, and of lack of responsibility needs to end. The time has come to mature. The time has come to understand the weight of the responsibility we have received. If God has called us, let us serve. If God has entrusted us with a work, let us take care of it. If God has given us a responsibility, let us fulfill it faithfully. Because the privilege of serving the living God also requires fear and trembling. May we never lose the fear of God. May we never lose our zeal for His work. May we never treat as ordinary what God has made holy. And may we, until the last day, be able to say: “Lord, everything that You placed in my hands, I sought to fulfill faithfully.” Say: Amen! BY: PROPHET ELIJAH

30 August The Beginning of True Wisdom Proverbs 9:10 (AMP) “The fear of the Lord [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] is the beginning and preeminent part of wisdom [its starting point and its essence]; and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding and spiritual insight.” True wisdom begins with God. The world often defines wisdom as having knowledge, experience, intelligence, or the ability to make good decisions. But Proverbs 9:10 reveals something deeper: wisdom starts with our relationship with the Lord. To fear God does not mean being terrified of Him. It means honoring Him, reverencing Him, recognizing His greatness, and giving Him His rightful place in our lives. When we truly understand who God is, we begin to see everything else from the right perspective. We can have plenty of knowledge and still make foolish choices. We can be educated yet lack spiritual understanding. But when we know the Holy One, He gives us insight that goes beyond human reasoning. Sometimes God’s wisdom will lead us in a direction that doesn't make sense to the world. It may tell us to wait when everyone else says, “Act now.” It may tell us to forgive when our emotions say, “Hold on to the hurt.” It may tell us to trust when we cannot see the outcome. That is where wisdom begins—when we place God above our own understanding. Today, don't simply ask God for more knowledge. Ask Him for a heart that reverences Him and seeks His ways. The more we know Him, the more clearly we can recognize His voice, understand His ways, and walk according to His purpose. Prayer Heavenly Father, Teach me to reverence You above everything else. Help me not to depend only on my own understanding, but to seek Your wisdom in every decision I make. Give me spiritual insight and a heart that desires to know You more deeply. Let Your wisdom guide my thoughts, my words, my choices, and my relationships. May my life reflect the wisdom that comes from knowing You. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Many young men claim to fear God, yet their lifestyle tells a different story. GET TO THE ROOTS "See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many." - Hebrews 12:15 One day our son John-Henry had an outdoor survival event. At one point he had to jump from a three-meter high bridge into a deep, dirty ditch which was full of water and mud. He did not know that there was a sharp tree stump in the ditch, this penetrated his leg for 20 cm. He screamed in pain and was taken to the hospital by the team leaders. The wound was cleaned, but the x-ray image showed that a wood splinter was still in his leg. The wound was bandaged and seemingly it looked good. We were told that the splinter would naturally go out. However, a few days later when we removed the bandage, the wound looked worse and unclean. We prayed to God to touch him and anointed him with oil. The next day a sister from our church who was a nurse saw the wound and said that John-Henry had to go to the hospital right away. There the doctor concluded that John-Henry immediately had to undergo surgery. When that root of the problem, the splinter, was removed, the healing process began. The root of the problem We often do the same in life. As God's children we take care of the outward appearances but do not go to the root of our problem. We try to become different, to improve, but if we do not go back to the root of the problem, this will not help much. Do not apologize by saying: it is my upbringing, or it is my life environment. We often justify ourselves. To simply polish yourself on the outside does not solve the problem. The root cause must be dealt with. Maybe you are facing something similar in life today. Pray then: 'Lord, show me what the root is which causes me trouble every time.' Jesus can help you if you open your heart to Him. He will take the complete problem out of your heart and life. (4)" ‘Let all that I am praise the Lord;...’ Psalms 103:2 NLT THE BIBLE equates God with light, and light with holiness. ‘…God is light; in him there is no darkness at all’ (1 John 1:5 NIV). Paul said that God dwells in ‘…unapproachable light…’ (1 Timothy 6:16 NIV). Scripture refers to Christ ‘…who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners…’ (Hebrews 7:26 NIV). So how should you approach such a God? As you would an auditor when your books don’t balance? Or a dictator who holds the power of life and death? No, Jesus told us to pray, ‘…Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name’ (Matthew 6:9 KJV). There’s your answer! You must come to God as a father who loves you dearly and desires only what is best for you, while always regarding Him with profound reverence. As your awe of God expands, your fears in life will diminish. A big view of God translates into big courage; a small view of God generates no courage at all. A puny God can’t help you when cancer strikes, your family is in trouble, or you’ve no way to pay your bills. A ‘do-me-a-favour’ Jesus may look good stuck on your dashboard, but that image can do nothing for your fears. You need an awesome God, who, while diminishing your ego, enlarges your faith and blows your mind. David wrote: ‘Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things…’ (Psalms 103:2-5 NLT). [28/08, 9:18 pm] Pastor Attah: *MEDITATIONS ON DAILY ⓂANNA* SATURDAY, 29TH AUGUST, 2026. *SUNDRY WORDS OF WISDOM* *TEXT:* PROVERBS 13:18-25. 18 Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured. 19 The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil. 20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. 21 Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed. 22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. 23 Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment. 24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes. 25 The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want. *Timeless Truth:*_"He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed"_ (Proverbs 13:20). *INTRODUCTION* If people are asked how to differentiate a wise person from a foolish person, the answer will differ according to the wisdom or foolishness of individuals giving the answer. Unfortunately, in most cases, the foolish see themselves as wiser than the wise. The successful and rich farmer in Luke 12:19-21 appeared to have had wisdom to make wealth and multiply it. Most people will take such, today as wise and smart, but God called him a fool. So a wise man in the eyes of an earthly person is not necessarily wise as far as the Ancient of Days is concerned. The Word of God is therefore, the most reliable and best literature on true and divinely approved wisdom. It looks at wisdom in the context of eternity and not in the context of ephemeral things of this world. The book of Proverbs contains practical wisdom for victorious and godly living. The text gives us some lectures on what constitutes true wisdom in the sight of God and in the sight of truth loving men. In essence, we can perceive wisdom in a person through his words, ways of life, values, choices and disciplines. *1. Humility in Receiving Instruction* One of the outputs of wisdom is the humility to accept and obey godly instructions. Anyone who claims, by his actions, that he is above instruction must claim to be on the same table of wisdom with the Omniscience God. That will be foolishness. *“Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.”* Refusing godly correction often leads to painful consequences, while accepting rebuke produces growth and honour. A teachable spirit is a mark of wisdom. *Question* How do you respond when godly correction is given to you? Is a proud intelligent or wealthy person wise? *2. The Happiness in Realization of Interest* *“The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul…”* This is well known experientially. There is joy when righteous desires are fulfilled. What if the desire that is accomplished is evil? Is it still sweet to the soul? This is how to differentiate a fool from the wise. For the wise, when evil desires come to pass, they are sad and unhappy. They cannot rest until they go to God for mercy. The fool reacts differently. They are happy at the evil that happens because *"it is abomination for fools to depart from evil"*. They are always right and wise in their own eyes even when they do evil or evil happens. *Question* Do you rejoice when evil desires are accomplished? Do you rejoice when good things happen to others? You can always judge whether you are a fool in the eyes of God or not. *3. The Healthy of Relationship with the Intelligent* *“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”* Our companions influence our character, decisions and future. Walking with wise people, according to Divine definition of wisdom, promotes wisdom, while intimate association with foolish people can bring sorrow. Your peers influence your principles and your principle determines your prudence. Your relationships reform your Character and your character determines your personality. *Question* Are your closest companions helping you to grow in wisdom and godliness? *4. The Harvests of Reward for Involvements* Whatever is sown will be harvested in multiple folds whether good or evil. It is a matter of time. *"Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repaid.”* Nobody should deceive himself that if he sows sin and sows to the flesh he will reap righteousness and spirituality. Those who sow love and goodness will reap the same with their children. Sin has consequences and eventually, catches up with the unrepentant. God, however, watches over the righteous and rewards those who faithfully follow Him. *Question* What are you sowing with your tongue and talents? *5. Having Righteous Inheritance* *“A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children…”* The inheritance can be education, wealth, good spiritual and moral upbringing. A godly inheritance includes more than money and possessions. Faith, integrity, wisdom, good character and the fear of God are treasures that can bless generations. A wise father invests all these good things in the life of the younger generation through any medium possible just like Jesus gave us diver blessings as he departed from the world. *Question* Do you demonstrate wisdom by investing invaluable things to your younger generation through any medium available? *6. The Huge Results of Ignorance* *“Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.”* God can provide abundance through diligent labour. The poor remains poor not because he was made so, but just because he could not till the ground and labour. Furthermore, poor decisions, injustice and lack of wise management may destroy what could have been fruitful. Those who are enjoying bountiful harvests in a godly way are using God's wisdom while those who remain poor should go and learn the wisdom of God. *Question* Are you using the opportunities and resources God has given you with wisdom and good judgment? *7. Home Rulership without Indiscipline* *“He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.”* The rod is not necessarily physical. It may also be psychological, frowns or stern rebukes. Genuine love does not ignore wrongdoing. A child left to himself will be spoilt and become a source of shame to the parents and the society. Schools might be forbidden from spanking, but God expects parents, both natural and spiritual, to enforce discipline lovingly and godly.Godly discipline, exercised with wisdom and love, helps to correct, train and guide children in the right path. *Question* Do you apply wisdom and love in the discipline of the erring both in the Church and the natural family? *8. Divine Recompence according to the Heart* *“The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.”* God knows the needs of His people and is able to provide for them. He lived for a time to satisfy his personal desires, to feed his body with whatever he wanted. He therefore, warned of the consequences of rejecting instructions, probably alluding to his action, emphasising that even if the desires of such people were accomplished and seemed "sweet to the soul", at least for a time, it offers no incentive to the foolish person to shun evil conducts. He draws a parallel between those that keep company with wise men, and companions of unwise people. He concludes that sinners are invariably unwise in what truly matters in life, and are therefore unable to bequeath a legacy of inheritance to generations after them. Stressing the destructive nature of poor judgment, the wise preacher also counselled against withholding discipline from children, and affirms that it is an expression of love to ensure that children are brought up well. In the end, this is part of what brings satisfaction to the righteous, as the fruit of his labour.* *It is no doubt, desirable to achieve our goals in life, but we must be careful as not every desire is worth pursuing. Some are so deadly that when you set your heart on them, you may lose the ability to determine what is truly good, and what is dangerous. Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you. How are you all doing today? Did you sleep well, with beautifully peaceful dreams that helped you in waking up in a calm and refreshed feeling? Was your pillow a part of your body now, not wanting to separate? Did the mattress hold on to you with that special hug that says that you are needed to fill a void in ‘their’ life? I pray all that is true. It was for me. Though I did not sleep the recommended amount of time, my body said that I slept exactly what it wanted and needed; so Merry Christmas … you have a good day today. I said thank you and gave my body its coffee. So, I have another question. What if … What if we treated God’s Word in the same manner as described above? A pillow of hope that connects to the soul. A mattress of comfort that holds us close and never wants us to leave. A blanket of security to shield us from the storm. What if we thought of God’s Love and devotion to us in that way, and treated him with the same reverence as we do when we do not want to get out of bed for work? How we shut off the alarms and hit the snooze, roll over, pull that blanket up around our chin, bury our heads into that comfy pillow as we sink even further into the mattress. What if we treated God like that? His Word with such an invitation? Can you imagine how peaceful and spiritually blissful our lives would be? I know two things to be true in this comparison … first, when I get a wonderful night’s sleep, I feel fantastic in the morning. Second, when I bury my mind and heart in God’s word, I am better than fantastic. Today I want to encourage you to seek that peace with Him. Seek that arena of bliss. Embrace that devotion of Love. Allow yourself to sink into His presence as He shields you from the days' mega storms and sets your mind at ease in the comfort of his chest. Be blessed. **Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.—1 Peter 3:4

The Three Angels Message THE FIRST ANGEL’S MESSAGE FEAR GOD AND GIVE GLORY TO HIM In Revelation 14 we see three angels with a final warning to the world. The first angel shouts to us, “Fear God and give glory to Him….” Fearing God means to show Him respect. We show respect by showing reverence to His house, our church, the sanctuary. We show respect when we listen to our pastors and participate in our church, carrying an office, doing our part, even if we are simply sweeping the threshold.. We show respect when we defend God’s name, when we show let others know we love God. We show reverence when we obey God’s law, John 14:15. “For the hour of His judgement is come”….Yes, it is an hour of judgement for God. God’s name and honor are at stake in this final controversy. Will the earth and its inhabitants recognize God as the Lord of this earth? Or will they wander and wonder after the beast? (Who ultimately represents Satan.) Will the judge of the earth do right? Yes, God wasn’t willing to destroy Sodom if ten righteous people could be found there. As the seven last plagues are poured out, we see God praised for his righteous judgements. As the plagues show, the earth is under judgement, with the wicked inhabitants unrepentant. As we consider the judgement scene of Daniel 7, we see judgement is rendered in behalf of the saints and they will ultimately regain the lost dominion of the earth. Praise the Lord!

Did you know? ICHABOD — WHEN THE GLORY DEPARTED “The glory has departed from Israel.” — 1 Samuel 4:22 Ichabod was more than a name. It was a cry of grief. Israel had gone to battle against the Philistines, and the Ark of the Covenant was carried into the battlefield. But the Ark was never meant to be treated as a lucky charm. Israel had the symbol of God’s presence, but their hearts had wandered from God. The result was devastating. The Ark was captured. Hophni and Phinehas died. Eli fell and died. Phinehas’ wife died giving birth. And with her final breath, she named the child Ichabod, saying: “The glory has departed from Israel.” The lesson is sobering: you can have the Ark without honoring the God of the Ark. You can have religious activity without genuine obedience. You can carry sacred things while your heart is far from God. God’s presence is not something we manipulate or use for our own purposes. The question is not merely, “Do I have the Ark?” The deeper question is: “Does my life honor the God whose presence I seek?” May we never become so familiar with holy things that we lose reverence for the Holy One. Lord, let Your presence remain with us. Let Your glory never depart from our lives. Read 1 Samuel 4:1–22
