  • THE NAME THAT RULES HEAVEN AND EARTH

And Jesus Came And Spake Unto Them, Saying, All Power Is Given Unto Me In Heaven And In Earth" (Matthew 28:18 KJV).

When the Lord Jesus declared, "...All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth," He made a proclamation no earthly ruler could ever truthfully make. Throughout history, mighty empires arose with extraordinary influence and vast dominions.

The Pharaohs ruled with terrifying authority in Egypt. Nebuchadnezzar expanded Babylon's greatness across nations. The Persians, the Greeks, and later the Romans each dominated the world in their time. Yet, every one of those empires eventually crumbled.

However, while Rome still stood in all its pride and "Glory," the Lord Jesus came on the scene with a higher dominion. This wasn't merely political authority or earthly influence but absolute authority over all realms, visible and invisible, celestial and terrestrial. No emperor ever possessed that. No king ever ruled both heaven and earth. Only the Lord Jesus declared such authority.

This was why the disciples were so fiercely persecuted. They proclaimed another Kingdom while Caesar was still emperor. They preached a Name greater than Rome's authority, and the rulers of that age couldn't tolerate it. Yet, while they all faded away, the dominion of Christ continued increasingly unabated.

Hebrews 13:8 says, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." His authority hasn't diminished. His Name hasn't weakened through the ages. The same Name that healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out devils, and shook nations in Bible days carries the same power today.

More wonderfully, He's given us the power of attorney, the legal right and divine authority to act in His stead. When you speak in the Name of Jesus, you're not uttering mere words; you're exercising authority from the One who rules heaven and earth. Therefore, never be intimidated by earthly systems, oppositions, or circumstances.

Empires may rise and fall, governments may change, and human powers may fade, but the Name of the Lord Jesus remains eternally supreme. Use that Name with boldness. Use it to enforce His will in your world, for He rules over all, now and forever. Hallelujah!

  • PERSEVERE UNTIL THE END

But it is necessary to remain on the path in order to remain in salvation.

Jesus taught us that we need to renounce the world, take up our cross, and follow the Lord every day.

And until when should we follow?

Until the end. Until the last day of our lives. Amen?

This journey has an end, and we need to remain firm until we get there. This is perseverance.

Paul persevered until the end. When God revealed to him that the moment of his departure was near, he declared:

“The time for my departure has come.”

    And he also said:

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

Paul persevered. He did not give up. He completed the mission that God had placed in his hands.

And because he persevered, he could say:

“Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for His appearing.”

    Hallelujah!

The promise was not only for Paul. It is for everyone who remains faithful, for everyone who perseveres until the end.

Because if you do not persevere, you may end up with nothing more than a story from the past:

“One day I was a believer. One day I served God. One day I was in church.”

But God did not call us to live only on a story from the past. He called us to remain firm until the end.

Therefore, we need to persevere in everything.

We need to persevere while we wait on the Lord for the promises of this life.

We need to persevere while we wait for His coming.

We need to persevere in faith.

We need to persevere in love.

We need to persevere in patience.

We need to persevere when things are difficult.

We need to persevere when we do not understand what God is doing.

We need to keep walking even when circumstances tell us to stop.

    Why?

Because what we have attained through faith must also be guarded through perseverance.

We cannot start well and finish badly.

We cannot run for a while and then abandon the race.

We need to reach the end.

    Amen?

    The Bible says:

“We, however, are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.”

    Therefore, stand firm!

Do not give up your faith.

    Do not abandon the path.

Do not return to the world.

    Keep following Jesus.

    Persevere until the end.

Because the one who perseveres until the end will be saved.

Say: I will persevere until the end!

  • Ephesians 4:17 NLT
With the Lord’s authority I say this: Live no longer as the Gentiles do, for they are hopelessly confused.

Good morning and praise God. I hope you are having a good day.

Welcome to another devotion message from me, a servant of the Most High God. I would start with problems I've been going through but today's message reminds me I have a higher calling than all my troubles in this life. I am forever grateful to God and He has taught me through good times and also through times of trouble to trust in Him and Him only. I no longer trust what I feel or I know for all that might be a lie. God is always my near help all times and I rejoice in knowing this. Hallelujah.

In today's message, that Paul signs with Jesus Christ, we are reminded that we should no longer live as gentiles do, they are hopelessly confused. It is one thing to experience what every person born of a woman experience in life but it is different to live as a chosen one. The chosen one must live differently though he/she goes through same challenges as other human beings.

Our life solutions as born again Christians are to be drawn from what God has provided us rather than what our carnality may try to dictate. We are not to treat any matter of our lives separate from our faith. We are not our own but rather a God's project in this world. We are a chosen generation for the Lord's work. Our hope is not in what we have or what we don't have but rather in Christ alone. We pray and revere God not because of what's happening around us but because we hunger to be in a more closer relationship with Him just as children runs to be in the arms of their Father.

Take a moment today and put down all that which has been pressing you down at Jesus' feet. Offload that burden and look up to where God is and find your solace, comfort, peace, joy in your Father in Heaven. If God be for you, what can a mere man do to you? Indeed child of God you got a reason to wake-up and rejoice in the LORD.Worship Him always. God loves you, have a blessed day. Shalom. Shalom.
