A WORD FOR YOU. (Insights For Life) Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; Deuteronomy 7:9 KJV YOU NEED A COVENANT WALK You must understand this fundamental truth: God is an ever-faithful and A COVENANT KEEPING GOD. He watches over, guards, preserves, maintains His Words (not to hold it but) to fulfill it. He doesn't just fulfill his promises, HE FULFILLS HIS COVENANT. So what is a covenant? A Covenant is a solemn, binding agreement between two or more parties. When you become born again, you are automatically adopted into a covenant family - you become a covenant child of God. But that covenant is a BASIC COVENANT. IT COMES WITH BASIC RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES. IT IS LEGAL AND BINDING ON GOD AS REGARDS CERTAIN PROMISES TO YOU. BUT IT IS BASIC COVENANT. Many believers stop at this "basic" level of the covenant. So they get the basic provisions and promises in the covenant package. But there is so much more. IT COMES WITH A COVENANT WALK. You MUST strike a personal covenant with God before certain covenant promises and provisions can become accessible to you. Everyone can proclaim: I cannot be poor, yet remain poor. But those who walk in the covenant of this scripture don't just proclaim it, they experience the reality of that scripture. You know why? It is because that scripture has changed from just a promise to a covenant - it is now adopted and enacted, and binding on God to fulfill. How do you enter into a covenant walk with God? Check out this scripture. “Gather My godly ones to Me, Those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.” Psalms 50:5 AMP. Watch the Word: "...who made a covenant with me by sacrifice." On the 9th of December, 2010, After our Church wedding, both of us attended Shiloh (winners chapel) otta, Nigeria, no time for honeymoon. The Lord came to me and said: DROP ALL YOU HAVE, I WANT TO ENTER INTO A COVENANT WITH YOU (3times). Then he added: A COVENANT OF CONSTANT SUPPLY. You can doubt this encounter but you can't doubt the result. Listen, THERE ARE THINGS YOU WILL NEVER ACCESS BY CONFESSING AND PROCLAIMING. THEY ONLY COME BY A PERSONAL COVENANT WALK WITH GOD - AND THIS IS MADE POSSIBLE BY SACRIFICE.Once enacted, living that scripture becomes seamless. Remember, you can initiate the covenant with God and God can initiate it with you. But there is more. Hello, I would like to share with you the message from 1 septembre 2026 from “The Good Seed” daily calendar. In the day of my trouble I sought the Lᴏʀᴅ. (Psalm 77:2) Abandoned by all? The incarcerated man stands before the prison chaplain. He holds a letter in his hand and says, “Reverend, I wanted to see you one last time today.” – “What’s wrong? Are you sick?” – “For eight years, I’ve only been able to see the sky through these bars. So far, I’ve endured it. There was someone who thought of me, wrote to me, and waited for me. – But here is the last letter. My wife has left me. Now my life has no meaning.”  The chaplain knew the man. He was not one of those who talked about suicide to gain an advantage. So he replied, “I’m so sorry to hear that everyone has given up on you. But remember: God hasn’t given up on you! He’s seeking you. He’s waiting for you. And I believe now is the time for you to turn to Him. I’ll pray for you. But I also have a request for you: read the Gospel of Luke which I’m giving you here.”  Two days later – on a Sunday morning – the man was in the prison chapel, where the pastor spoke about the saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The face of the prisoner shone. In the solitude of his cell, God had met him in his despair and had given him more than his longed-for freedom: eternal salvation.  The man had found peace with God and had become a beloved child of God. August 24th, 2026 Your Prayers Can Start Revival If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 Ezekiel was a priest who had been carried away by King Nebuchadnezzar and forced to settle in Tel Abib on the Chebar Canal in Babylon. As this man grew older, he grew both hungry for God and lonesome for his homeland, one that we know as Israel today. God revealed Himself to Ezekiel and told him of great things which were in the future for Israel. He explained, “The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. He asked me, ‘Son of man, can these bones live?’“ (Ezekiel 37:1-3). Talk about having to answer the Teacher! What do you say when God asks you a question? Dead bones are lifeless, hopeless—they’re finished. Yet, and this is what Ezekiel knew, God alone can reverse the hopelessness of dead bones, and wisely, very wisely, Ezekiel answered, “O Sovereign LORD, you alone know!” Good answer! He passed the test. Then God told him to prophesy that breath would enter into them, tendons would be attached, then flesh, then life. Re-creation! It was a picture of Israel’s restoration. It is also a picture of what God does individually and corporately when He chooses to revive His people. While revivals—genuine spiritual renewals born of the Holy Spirit—have been milestones of the church from the days of the book of Acts to the present, they are the exception, not the normal, day-by-day, year-by-year sort of thing. Question: Is it possible that in the immediate future, God may again bring revival to His people around the world? Ezekiel called God, “Sovereign.” He knew that God answers to none, and that He is the one who responds to the cries of His people, asking Him to revive them and to restore them to the place of joy and service they once had. A history of revivals shows that while a Sovereign God does revive His people, they come in response to the cries of His people. Long ago God outlined the conditions which are necessary for revival. He said, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). Are revivals simply a display of emotionalism or fanaticism? Not at all. They are displays of repentance, a searching for God, and the desire to be rejuvenated spiritually. In the early 1900’s, a revival swept the little country of Wales—it was birthed in a prayer meeting. An 18-year-old girl stood to her feet and she said, “I do love Jesus …” Starting to weep, she repeated those words, then sat down unable to speak. In the 1960’s, a spiritual awakening began at the FEBIAS College of the Bible, when missionary Chuck Holsinger spoke in the chapel and said, “The love of God, I cannot understand it,” and like a tidal wave which came from above, something swept over the students, who were confronted with the reality of God’s presence. What should have been a 50-minute service became an all-day prayer meeting that began something with far, far-reaching consequences. If your church is a valley of dry bones, there is hope.
