Have you ever sat down to pray and wondered, “What am I supposed to do right now?” You want to spend time with God, but perhaps you become distracted, repeat the same requests, or feel unsure of where to go next. It doesn’t have to be this way. You can learn to recognize the flow of the Holy Spirit. Here are 7 Streams of Prayer you can follow. Prayer is like a river, and a river has many streams. When you identify those streams, you can better discern what the Holy Spirit is doing in any given moment. When you first learn to drive, every movement requires conscious effort. Eventually, driving becomes natural. Prayer can be similar. When you are first learning to pray, you may wonder what to say next. As you grow, you begin to recognize where the Holy Spirit is leading you. These seven streams of prayer are not boxes you must check every time you pray. Instead, they can help you recognize the different ways prayer can flow. 1. Adoration Adoration is the worship of God. There are moments when you enter prayer and suddenly want to sing, praise, or simply tell Jesus that you love Him. That is prayer. “For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” - John 4:24 (NLT) Worship is a response to revelation. When the Holy Spirit breathes upon the truth of who God is, worship rises from within your heart. Do not rush past those moments. If your heart is being drawn toward worship, worship Him. 2. Supplication Supplication means bringing your requests to God. You may need guidance, provision, healing, or help in a difficult situation. Bring those needs to Him. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” - Philippians 4:6 (NLT) You can either worry or pray. Worry is the flesh’s powerless counterfeit for prayer. It is a useless attempt to control something over which you have no control. Take the list of concerns in your mind, give it to God, thank Him for what He has already done, and receive His peace. 3. Confrontation Confrontation refers to spiritual warfare. Scripture teaches that we are engaged in a real spiritual battle, and there are moments when the Holy Spirit will lead you to confront spiritual opposition in prayer. “So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” - James 4:7 (NLT) Notice the order: submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee. You do not confront the enemy in your own strength. Submission places you in Christ and under His authority. From that position, you can resist the attacks of the enemy against your mind, family, and spiritual life. Remain aware of the spiritual battle without becoming obsessed with it. Greater is He who lives in you than he who is in the world. 4. Contrition. Contrition is repentance. Repentance is not living under condemnation; it is allowing God to continually change your mind and keep your heart tender toward Him. “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.” - 1 John 1:9 (NLT) Sometimes you begin praying and sense that something is wrong. The Holy Spirit may bring an attitude, thought, word, or action to your attention. Respond quickly: “Lord, that was wrong. Forgive me and help me walk differently.” Do not allow small compromises to slowly harden your heart. Let the Holy Spirit remove them while they are still small. 5. Meditation. Meditation means dwelling on the Word of God. The Word gives fuel to your prayer life. “But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.” - Psalm 1:2-3 (NLT) If you do not feel inspired to pray, read the Psalms. If you want God to work on your character, read Proverbs. Do not merely read a passage and then forget it. Think about it, repeat it, speak it, and turn it into prayer. You might read that the fruit of the Spirit includes patience. Repeat that truth until it becomes a prayer: “Lord, make me patient.” The Word gives substance and weight to your prayers. It also develops godly desires within you. 6. Intercession. Intercession is praying for other people. “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.” - 1 Timothy 2:1 (NLT) Pray for your family, friends, coworkers, church, and those who do not yet know Jesus. You may not immediately see anything change. The person may even appear to move further away from God. Keep praying. Your prayers are making a difference, even when you cannot see what is happening in the supernatural. Learn to see through the eyes of faith instead of judging only by present circumstances. How many people are following Jesus today because someone prayed for them? If no one in your family has established a legacy of prayer, you can be the first. 7. Appreciation. Appreciation is thanksgiving. “Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.” - Psalm 100:4 (NLT) Thanksgiving is like the send button on your prayers. You have presented your request, and now you thank God in faith. Ask Him for healing, and then thank Him. Ask Him to deliver you, and then thank Him. Ask Him to save your loved ones, and begin thanking Him for what He is going to do. Imagine the day after the miracle. Picture your loved one worshiping God. See yourself walking in joy, peace, freedom, and courage. Let thanksgiving produce faith and hope within your heart. Final Thoughts Let the Holy Spirit Direct the Flow. These seven streams are not seven boxes you must check every time you pray. The goal is not to worship for five minutes and then force yourself to move to supplication. The goal is to recognize the flow of the Holy Spirit. You might begin by worshiping God. Then a need comes to mind, so you ask Him for help. A Scripture rises in your heart, and you begin meditating on it. Suddenly, you remember someone who needs prayer, and you begin interceding. The prayer flows. As you recognize these streams, you will learn when it is time to move from one to another. Prayer becomes less rigid because you are cooperating with what the Holy Spirit is doing. Remember: prayer is a flow, not a formula.

HOW CAN WE TALK WITH JESUS Talking with Jesus is simply praying. You do not need fancy or big words. Just talk to Him out loud or in your mind like you would talk to a close friend or a loving father. Be honest about your feelings, your worries, and your joys. Steps to Start a Conversation: - Find a quiet place: Go somewhere with no distractions so you can focus your mind. - Be yourself: Do not try to sound holy or perform. Jesus wants your real, honest heart. - Share what is on your mind: Tell Him what makes you happy, and tell Him what hurts. - Listen and be still: Prayer is two-way. After you speak, pause, quiet your thoughts, and read the Bible to hear His guidance. - Adoration: Praise Jesus for who He is and His goodness. - Confession: Tell Him your mistakes and ask for His forgiveness. - Thanksgiving: Thank Him for the good things in your life. - Supplication: Ask Him for help, strength, or healing for yourself and others.

Conflict and Courage. Isaiah 6:1-10 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. Isaiah 6:8. It was under circumstances of difficulty and discouragement that Isaiah, while yet a young man, was called to the prophetic mission. Disaster was threatening his country. By their transgression of God's law the people of Judah had forfeited His protection, and the Assyrian forces were about to come against the kingdom of Judah. But the danger from their enemies was not the greatest trouble. It was the perversity of the people that brought upon the Lord's servant the deepest depression. By their apostasy and rebellion they were inviting the judgments of God. The youthful prophet had been called to bear to them a message of warning, and he knew that he would meet with obstinate resistance.... His task seemed to him almost hopeless.... Such thoughts as these were crowding upon his mind as he stood under the portico of the holy temple. Suddenly the gate and the inner veil of the temple seemed to be uplifted or withdrawn, and he was permitted to gaze within, upon the holy of holies, where even the prophet's feet might not enter. There rose up before him a vision of Jehovah sitting upon a throne high and lifted up, while His train filled the temple. On each side of the throne hovered the seraphim, two wings bearing them up, two veiling their faces in adoration, and two covering their feet.... Never before had Isaiah realized so fully the greatness of Jehovah or His perfect holiness; and he felt that in his human frailty and unworthiness he must perish in that divine presence. “Woe is me!” he cried; “for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.” But a seraph came to him to fit him for his great mission. Angels came to receive the King of glory and to escort Him triumphantly to heaven. After Jesus had blessed His disciples, He was parted from them and taken up. And as He led the way upward, the multitude of captives who were raised at His resurrection followed. A multitude of the heavenly host were in attendance, while in heaven an innumerable company of angels awaited His coming. As they ascended to the Holy City, the angels who escorted Jesus cried out, “Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.” The angels in the city cried out with rapture, “Who is this King of glory?” The escorting angels answered in triumph, “The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle! Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in!” Again the waiting angels asked, “Who is this King of glory?” and the escorting angels answered in melodious strains, “The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory.” And the heavenly train passed into the city of God. Satan again counseled with his angels, and with bitter hatred against God’s government told them that while he retained his power and authority upon earth their efforts must be tenfold stronger against the followers of Jesus. They had prevailed nothing against Christ but must overthrow His followers, if possible. In every generation they must seek to ensnare those who would believe in Jesus. He related to his angels that Jesus had given His disciples power to rebuke them and cast them out, and to heal those whom they should afflict. 28 Beleifs # 2 THE TRINITY There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three coeternal Persons. God is immortal, all-powerful, all-knowing, above all, and ever present. He is infinite and beyond human comprehension, yet known through His self-revelation. God, who is love, is forever worthy of worship, adoration, and service by the whole creation.

August 1st, 2026 Read; Hebrews 1:3 Jesus was God here on earth. He wasn't a copy, a copycat, or a clone. He was God with us. Even now, He keeps everything going with His words. So much for "Mother Nature." But now that our sins have been paid for, God-with-us is also God-for-us at the side of the Father. Prayer Dear Lord, you take these lowly human words and present them to the Father as my friend and brother, as you have done so many times before. I'm grateful that you paid the price for my sins. We are grateful for your enduring influence in our universe. We are grateful for your daily prayers. I'm grateful to the Father for having you there as God for me. Be glory, honor, and adoration to the glorious, majestic, and holy God, who sent Jesus as the Savior, forever and ever. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

His love is so high that none can get over it, so deep that none gets down to its depth, and so wide that none goes around it. God is truly deserving of our praise, glory and adoration. The wise at heart freely and joyously gives Him these. King David in his heartfelt love for God states thus 'Seven times a day I praise You, because of Your righteous judgments.' (Psalm 119:164 NKJV) Wow! Did you comprehend that? Praising God seven times a day! Yes, God deserves it. David had his reasons for doing that. Every one of us has reasons for praising, glorifying, honouring and adoring God always. Beloved, examine yourself, do you praise and worship Him? Does your life glorify Him? If not, take a firm, and deliberate personal decision and be disposed to do that. That is an awesome exploit, that is the reason for your creation. Praise ye the Lord. MESSAGE: When someone who is under the burden of the yoke of satan cries out to God genuinely for help, God steps in and delivers such a fellow. However, after receiving the deliverance, there are certain things the person must do and continue to do so that the 'taskmaster' (the devil) will not lay a heavier burden on him or her. For example, God heard the cry of the Israelites when the Egyptians enslaved them, and He came to their rescue (Exodus 3:7-9), but there were steps they had to take to ensure that they were not re-enslaved by their Egyptian taskmasters. Matthew 12:43-45 tells us that if a person becomes free from a burden of demonic possession and remains empty, the burden will return in a worse form because the evil spirit that left the person will return with seven other spirits that are more wicked than itself, so that the latter end of the person will be worse than the first. I pray that in any area the enemy wants your latter end to be worse than your beginning, the Almighty God will frustrate his plans, in Jesus' name. When a fellow has been freed from a burden, the first thing that he or she must do to keep the enemy away and ensure that the burden that has been lifted does not return is to praise God continually. Acts 3:1-8 tells the story of a lame man who lay by the Beautiful Gate of the temple. When God visited him and took away his burden of stagnation, poverty, and shame, he began to walk, leap, and praise God without caring about anyone who was watching him. This man was born lame, and before his healing, he was already above 40 years old (Acts 4:22). This means that he was being carried from one point to another for over 40 years and must have been unable to enter the temple unaided. He might have been praying silently, "God, I wish I had legs so I could enter the temple and dance and praise You as You deserve." This must have been why he leapt and praised God with so much joy when he received his deliverance. Beloved, has God been good to you? Has He taken away your burdens? Praise Him abundantly, everywhere, and at all times. As we see in today's Bible reading, fill your mouth with high praises to God. Dance and use musical instruments to praise Him, for He alone is worthy of your praise. KEY POINT: Praise is a powerful weapon for sustaining your victory and freedom. 21 CAPTIVATING STEPS TO REVIVE YOUR PRAYER LIFE. 1. Set a non-negotiable time with God – Daniel 6:10 Insight: Prayer without schedule = prayer without power. Daniel prayed 3x daily like clockwork. Put God in your calendar before your calendar fills up. 2. Kill your phone before kills your prayer – Matthew 6:6 Insight: “Shut your door” = airplane mode. If your phone is closer than your Bible, your prayer will be shorter than your scroll time. 3. Start small, but start fire – Zechariah 4:10 Insight: Don’t aim for 3hrs and quit on Day 2. 10 minutes of real fire > 1 hour of religious noise. Consistency beats intensity. 4. Use the Bible as your prayer script – Isaiah 62:6 Insight: God moves faster when you pray His Word back to Him. Take Psalm 23 and pray: “Lord, You are my shepherd, so I refuse lack ...” 5. Deal with the secret sin first – Psalm 66:18 Insight: “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear”. Revival and hidden sin are enemies. Confess it, drop it, then pray. 6. Forgive someone before you ask God for anything – Mark 11:25 Insight: Unforgiveness blocks heaven’s pipeline. Release that person in prayer, then watch your own prayers get answered faster. 7. Pray loud enough to wake your destiny – Jeremiah 33:3 Insight: Silent prayer is good. Violent prayer is better. “The kingdom suffers violence”. Whisper to God when sleeping, but pray to to provoke your testimony. 8. Add thanksgiving to every prayer – Philippians 4:6 Insight: Begging makes prayer heavy. Gratitude makes prayer sweet. Thank God for 3 things before you ask for 1 thing. 9. Create a “War Room” list – Ephesians 6:18 Insight: Random prayer = random results. Write 7 areas: Family, Financial, Health, Purpose, Ministry, Marriage, Country. Attack 1 daily with focus. 10. Pray in the spirit when words fail – Romans 8:26 Insight: The Holy Spirit translates your groans. 15 minutes in tongues = spiritual gym. Weak in English, strong in Spirit. 11. Worship before you warfare – 2 Chronicles 20:22 Insight: Jehoshaphat won the battle with singers, not soldiers. Praise confuses your enemies before your prayer destroys them. 12. Find your “Upper Room” spot – Acts 1:13 Insight: Environment carries anointing. Same bed for sleep + prayer = sleep wins. Find a corner, chair, or spot that only means “God time”. 13. Pray for others before yourself – Job 42:10 Insight: Selfish prayer dries up. When Job prayed for his friends, his own captivity broke. Your miracle is tied to someone else’s. 14. Fast at least 1 day in a week/month – Matthew 17:21 Insight: Some doors only open with prayer + fasting. Food is good, but your testimony is better. 6am-6pm. Water only. Break limits. 15. Listen more than you talk – 1 Samuel 3:9 Insight: Prayer is 2-way. Talk 5 minutes, be quiet 5 minutes. God speaks in whispers. If you’re always talking, you’ll miss your instructions. 16. Pray at midnight at least 3 times – Acts 16:25-26 Insight: Midnight is when destiny chains break. Set alarm 11:59pm. 20 minutes of midnight prayer > 2 hours of afternoon prayer. 17. Keep a prayer journal of answered prayers – Habakkuk 2:2 Insight: Write it down. When doubt comes, open your journal. “God did it before, He’ll do it again”. Faith grows on evidence. 18. Pray with expectancy, not duty – James 1:6 Insight: Don’t pray like you’re filling a form. Pray like you’re expecting a call back from heaven. Doubt cancels delivery. 19. Use the ACTS pattern – Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication – Psalm 100:4 Insight: Structure kills dryness. Adore His greatness, Confess your weakness, Thank Him for mercy, then ask for your need. 20. Get an accountability partner – Ecclesiastes 4:9 Insight: Lonely prayer life dies fast. Text 1 friend daily: “I prayed today”. Two are better than one. Fire needs wood. 21. Make a covenant with God – Genesis 28:20 Insight: Jacob said “If You bless me, I’ll serve You”. Tell God: “Lord, revive my prayer life and I’ll never treat prayer like last option again”. Seal it with action. You are blessed
