    When Will Judgment Happen?

    September 1st, 2026

In the year 1033, people around the world expected Jesus to return. That year, they reasoned, would signify the passing of a thousand years since the crucifixion and resurrection, and surely the Lord would come back for His own by then! (And if you are tempted to do the same, remember Jesus’ words in Matthew 24:36, that “no one” knows the “day and hour” of Christ’s return.)

But just because the world doesn’t come stamped with a specific expiration date does not mean it’s impossible to discern the “signs of the times” (Matthew 16:3).

One key factor is the presence of Rome at both ends of Jesus’ ministry. While the Savior was on earth, it was the pagan Roman Empire that captured and killed Him. Jesus gave up His life to atone for our sins, yes, but it was through the agency of the Roman state that this took place.

Daniel identifies Rome as the “little horn” that will persecute the saints. And Rome is still a religious-civil power, one that has sought “to change times and law” (Daniel 7:25) and one that has interposed a manmade system of religion that puts other sinful humans in the role of mediator—a role belonging to Christ alone.

This final Rome will also seek to compel obedience to its religion by aligning with worldly governments. Those who resist will face intense pressure to revert, and if they continue to resist, they will be confronted with the very real possibility of martyrdom.

These will indeed be perilous times for millions of God’s faithful, the ones called a “remnant” people (Romans 9:27). But Jesus promised “he who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 24:13). Now, then, is the time to study and pray, so that you’ll be ready for that great and terrible day.

    Apply It:

Jesus told his followers to “watch” (Mark 13:37). Keep looking out—and always keep looking up!

    Dig Deeper:

    Daniel 8:9; Daniel 8:12; Hebrews 7:25

    Key Bible Texts
So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision. (Daniel 8:17 KJV)

The sanctuary was not merely an ancient place of worship. It was God’s illustrated plan of redemption.

Scripture calls the earthly sanctuary a “copy and shadow of the heavenly things” (Hebrews 8:5). Its services were symbolic, pointing beyond themselves to the saving work of Christ.

    Every part taught something.

The sacrifices revealed that sin brings death and that forgiveness requires the shedding of blood.
The priesthood revealed the need for a mediator between God and man.
The daily ministry showed how confessed sin was dealt with through the blood of the sacrifice.
The Day of Atonement revealed a final work of cleansing, judgment, and the ultimate removal of sin.

Even the yearly feasts followed the same redemptive pattern.

Passover pointed to Christ our sacrifice.
Unleavened Bread pointed to His sinless life and burial.
    Firstfruits pointed to His resurrection.
Pentecost pointed to the inauguration of the heavenly sanctuary and outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
    Trumpets announced the approaching judgment.
The Day of Atonement pointed to the final judgement ministry of Christ in the heavenly sanctuary.
Tabernacles pointed forward to the final gathering and dwelling of God with His redeemed people.

This is why the sanctuary matters.

The cross cannot be separated from the priesthood.
The sacrifice cannot be separated from the ministry of the blood.
And the daily service cannot be separated from the final cleansing on the Day of Atonement.

Together, the sanctuary, its sacrifices, its priesthood, and its feasts form one connected prophetic picture of the entire work of redemption—from the death of Christ to the final removal of sin.

“Your way, O God, is in the sanctuary.” — Psalm 77:13

    Hebrews 8:5 • Hebrews 9:9, 23–24 • Colossians 2:16–17

  • SERMON TO KINGDOMS — THRONES ON EARTH ARE TEMPORARY — KING OF KINGS IS ETERNAL — FOR TORO KINGDOM & ALL KINGDOMS — SAD NEWS OF KING OYO AT 34

What Son is speaking / shown through Red 7 Visions — Spiritual Advice for Kingdoms whose culture norms worship not with alignment to sound doctrine — So that souls even if dead remain of Lord's

Ps 146:3-4 — Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, he returns to his earth; in that very day his plans perish.
Dan 2:21 — He removes kings and raises up kings.

    1. CONFIRMED SORROW — KING OYO OF TORO DEAD YOUNG — SAD NEWS

King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV — world's youngest monarch crowned at 3 — died at about 10pm on August 27, 2026, aged 34, after nearly 31 years reign. 5b66

Tooro Kingdom Prime Minister Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki confirmed: profound sadness — immeasurable loss — continuity of Crown assured, leaves Prince heir. 64ba

Living ones in Toro, Uganda — hear — Job 1:21 — Naked came I... LORD gave and LORD has taken away — And some other king in Europe dead too — Same week — Trumpet sounding to thrones: thrones shake.

    2. WHAT SON IS SPEAKING THROUGH VISIONS — RED 7 LENS TO KINGDOMS

Through Red 7 vision — judgement of correction first to house made 1 Pet 4:17 — purified with love Heb 12:6 — Gold pure Job 23:10 — Now to evil doers and to thrones — heavier strokes if refuse Luke 12:48 — because God will not share glory with idols.

Son is saying: Kingdoms of kings on earth need to follow those alive so that their souls even if dead remain of Lord's — Rom 14:8 — For if we live, we live to Lord; and if we die, we die to Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are Lord's.

Why? Because some culture norms worship not with alignment with sound doctrine:

Worship of royal drums as gods — Ex 20:3 — No other gods before Me.
Consulting dead kings, ancestors, spirits of dead — Deut 18:10-12 — abomination — Lev 20:6 — I will set My face against person who turns to mediums and familiar spirits.
Mock battles, millet rituals to appease ancestors — Isa 8:19 — Should a people seek their God? Should they seek dead on behalf of living?
Lion-skin crowns, sacred drums turned upside down when king dies — tradition that gives power to object not to Christ — Col 2:8 — Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to tradition of men... and not according to Christ.
Fornication, drunkenness in enthronement celebrations — Gal 5:19-21 — will not inherit kingdom of God.

These culture norms — if not corrected — soul does not remain of Lord's when dead — perishes — John 8:24 — If you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins — Heb 9:27 — It is appointed for men to die once, but after this judgment.

    3. SPIRITUAL ADVICE TO KINGDOMS — FOLLOW THOSE ALIVE — SOUND DOCTRINE

What must kingdoms do so souls even if dead remain of Lord's?

    A. Acknowledge King of kings over cultural kings

1 Tim 6:15 — He who is blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords.
Ps 2:10-11 — Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of earth. Serve LORD with fear.
Dan 4:32 — Till you know that Most High rules in kingdom of men.

No Omukama, no Kabaka, no Kyabazinga, no king in Europe is King of kings — All thrones under Christ — Rev 19:16 — KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Advice: Toro Kingdom and all kingdoms — Put Christ first in palace — Matt 6:33 — Seek first kingdom of God — Not drum first.

    B. Worship in Spirit and Truth — Not Ancestors

John 4:24 — God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

Culture says seek ancestors — Sound doctrine says seek Christ — 1 Tim 2:5 — For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.

Col 1:18 — That in all things He may have preeminence.

Advice: Stop consulting dead — Isa 8:19 — Burial rites should point to Christ resurrection 1 Thess 4:14 — not turning drums upside down to call spirits. Let royal drum be culture artifact — not god.

    C. Repent — Believe Gospel — Live Pure — Belong to Lord in Life and Death

Acts 20:28 — Church purchased with His own blood — belongs to Christ.

To belong to Lord even if dead — must belong to Lord while alive:

Rom 10:9 — If you confess with your mouth Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from dead, you will be saved.
2 Cor 5:15 — He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
1 John 3:9 — Whoever born of God does not practice sin — true Israel.
Tit 2:11-12 — Grace teaches us that, denying ungodliness... we should live soberly, righteously.

King Oyo promoted education, youth, tourism — Good works — But good works without sound doctrine cannot keep soul as Lord's after death — Eph 2:8-9 — For by grace you have been saved through faith... not of works. 64ba

Soul remains Lord's only if sealed by Blood — Eph 1:13 — Sealed with Holy Spirit of promise — Rom 14:8.

    D. Pray for Kings — But Teach Kings Sound Doctrine

1 Tim 2:1-2 — Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers... be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead quiet and peaceable life in all godliness.
2 Tim 4:2-3 — Preach word!... For time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine.

Kingdoms — Do not just mourn — Reform — Let chaplains preach Christ crucified, not syncretism — 1 Cor 2:2 — I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

    4. FINAL WARNING — THRONES FALL TO TEACH THAT ONLY CHRIST THRONE REMAINS

Heb 12:27-28 — Yet once more I shake... that those things which cannot be shaken may remain... Therefore, since we are receiving kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace.

King Oyo died 34 — young — like father died 1995 — Ps 90:12 — So teach us to number our days, that we may gain heart of wisdom.

Some king in Europe dead too — Same shake — Isa 40:23 — He brings princes to nothing; He makes judges of earth useless.

Spiritual advice from Son through visions: Let kingdoms now turn — Follow those alive in Christ — Not dead traditions — So souls of kings and subjects even if dead remain of Lord's — Rom 14:8.

If refuse — More thrones will empty — Rev 6:15 — Then kings of earth... hid themselves.

If obey — Rev 21:24 — And kings of earth bring their glory and honor into New Jerusalem.

ALTAR CALL TO TORO & ALL KINGDOMS:

Josh 24:15 — Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve... But as for me and my house, we will serve LORD.

Leave ancestor worship — Leave drum worship — Believe Blood — Live pure — Be true Israel — Church bought by Blood belongs to Christ — Whether live or die — Yours remains Lord's.

Let Toro say: From today — Christ is Omukama of Toro — King of kings reigns in Karuziika Palace.

Rev 5:12 — Worthy is Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing.

Amen — Rest King Oyo — But let living kingdoms hear and repent — Before throne empty again.

WHY DOES REVELATION POINT TO ROME AS BABYLON—AND WHAT DEADLY “WINE” IS INTOXICATING THE WORLD?

“Babylon… made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” — Revelation 14:8

    John saw something terrifying:

A WOMAN WITH A GOLDEN CUP.
    KINGS UNITED WITH HER.
    NATIONS DRINKING.
    A WORLD INTOXICATED.

    Revelation 17:1–6

This is not merely about ancient Rome.

It is about WORSHIP. AUTHORITY. DECEPTION. CONSCIENCE.

    And ultimately—

CHRIST OR HUMAN AUTHORITY: WHO WILL RULE THE HEART?

Before pointing at Babylon, therefore, ask:

IS ANYTHING IN HER CUP ALREADY IN MINE?
    ---

① THE WOMAN—RELIGION THAT BECAME UNFAITHFUL TO CHRIST

A pure woman symbolizes God's faithful people.

“I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.” — Jeremiah 6:2

But Revelation 17 shows a harlot.

    Why?

    Because she still appears religious—

yet has become unfaithful to her rightful Husband.

“MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT.” — Revelation 17:5

Babylon is therefore not merely irreligion.

    It is something more deceptive:

RELIGION WITHOUT FAITHFULNESS TO CHRIST AND HIS WORD.

The greatest danger may not be rejecting the Bible—

but using the Bible while placing another authority above it.
    ---

② WHY ROME?—FOLLOW THE PROPHETIC MARKERS

Revelation does not ask us to guess.

The woman sits upon seven mountains. — Revelation 17:9

She is connected with the city that “reigneth over the kings of the earth.” — Revelation 17:18

In John's day, that ruling city was Rome.

Daniel had already foretold a power arising from the Roman world that would:

    SPEAK GREAT WORDS.
    PERSECUTE THE SAINTS.
THINK TO CHANGE TIMES AND LAW.

    Daniel 7:23–25

Revelation 13 continues the same prophetic pattern.

This is why historic Protestant interpreters identified papal Rome as a central fulfillment of these prophecies.

    But notice carefully:

PROPHECY IDENTIFIES A SYSTEM—NOT EVERY PERSON WITHIN IT.

    For God Himself says:

“Come out of her, MY PEOPLE.” — Revelation 18:4

CHRIST HAS PEOPLE EVEN WHERE ERROR EXISTS.
    ---

③ HER FORNICATION—WHEN THE BRIDE REACHES FOR CAESAR

Why does God call it fornication?

Because the church belongs to one Husband.

“I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 11:2

    Yet Babylon joins herself to:

“The kings of the earth.” — Revelation 17:2

    Here lies the prophetic tragedy:

THE BRIDE REACHES FOR CAESAR WHEN SHE SHOULD CLING TO CHRIST.

Religion seeks government power to accomplish what Christ entrusted to truth and the Holy Spirit.

Ellen White warns that when churches seek civil power to enforce religious observances, the principles of the prophetic image to the beast are reproduced. — The Great Controversy, p. 445

    Jesus declared:

“My kingdom is not of this world.” — John 18:36

    CHRIST WINS CONSCIENCES.
    BABYLON SEEKS TO CONTROL THEM.
    ---

④ THE WINE—ERROR THAT MAKES CROOKED THINGS LOOK STRAIGHT

    Why wine?

    Because intoxication does something frightening:

    IT DISTORTS PERCEPTION.

A drunken man can feel perfectly confident—

    while walking crooked.

    So can a religious person.

“A golden cup in her hand full of abominations.” — Revelation 17:4

Ellen White identifies this intoxicating cup with the false doctrines Babylon has received and communicated to the world. — The Great Controversy, p. 388

    Here is the warning:

THE CUP IS GOLDEN—BUT GOLD DOES NOT PURIFY WHAT IS INSIDE.

    Falsehood rarely conquers by announcing:

    “I am false.”

    It comes dressed as—

    TRADITION.
    AUTHORITY.
    ANTIQUITY.
    POPULARITY.
    RELIGION.

    Therefore:

“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:21

NEVER CONFUSE AN ANCIENT BELIEF WITH AN INSPIRED BELIEF.
    ---

⑤ FIRST INTOXICATION—TRADITION ABOVE “IT IS WRITTEN”

    Jesus exposed this danger directly:

“Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition.” — Mark 7:13

    That is Babylon's operating principle:

MAN'S WORD WHERE GOD'S WORD SHOULD RULE.

Jesus defeated Satan three times with:

“IT IS WRITTEN.” — Matthew 4:4,7,10

That must become our foundation too.

    Not—

    “My church teaches it.”

    “My family always believed it.”

    “Millions cannot be wrong.”

    But:

    “WHAT IS WRITTEN?”

“To the law and to the testimony.” — Isaiah 8:20

FAITH DOES NOT ASK TRADITION FOR PERMISSION TO OBEY GOD.
    ---

⑥ THE OLD WINE—“YE SHALL NOT SURELY DIE”

The first doctrinal contradiction in Scripture came from the serpent.

    God said:

“Thou shalt surely die.” — Genesis 2:17

    Satan answered:

“Ye shall not surely die.” — Genesis 3:4

    Scripture still declares:

“The dead know not any thing.” — Ecclesiastes 9:5

“The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” — Ezekiel 18:4

Why does this matter in the last days?

    Because Revelation predicts supernatural deception.

“Spirits of devils, working miracles.” — Revelation 16:14

If Satan can impersonate the dead—

a false doctrine about death can become a doorway for a false supernatural experience.

THE SERPENT'S FIRST LIE MAY HELP PREPARE THE WORLD FOR HIS FINAL DECEPTION.

    Our safety?

“Thy word have I hid in mine heart.” — Psalm 119:11
    ---

⑦ THE GREAT QUESTION—WHO HAS AUTHORITY TO DEFINE WORSHIP?

    God sanctified the seventh day.

    Genesis 2:2–3

    God wrote:

“The seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God.” — Exodus 20:10

    Jesus declared:

“The Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.” — Mark 2:28

Revelation's final crisis is unmistakably about worship.

“Worship Him that made heaven, and earth.” — Revelation 14:7

    versus:

“If any man worship the beast and his image…” — Revelation 14:9

Then Heaven points to the faithful:

“Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” — Revelation 14:12

So the deepest Sabbath question is not merely:

    WHICH DAY?

    It is:

    WHO IS LORD?

    If Jesus is Lord—

His Word outranks every human tradition.
    ---

⑧ THE MOST DANGEROUS WINE—ANYTHING THAT OBSCURES CHRIST

At Babylon's deepest level, the issue is not merely a collection of incorrect doctrines.

It is another authority standing where Christ belongs.

    Scripture declares:

“There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” — 1 Timothy 2:5

“Neither is there salvation in any other.” — Acts 4:12

No human priesthood can replace His mediation.

No human merit can supplement His sacrifice.

No human authority can outrank His Word.

    CHRIST IS ENOUGH.

    CHRIST OUR SACRIFICE.
    CHRIST OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
    CHRIST OUR HIGH PRIEST.
    CHRIST OUR MEDIATOR.
    CHRIST OUR SAVIOR.

“We have a great high priest… Jesus the Son of God.” — Hebrews 4:14

THE MORE CLEARLY CHRIST IS SEEN, THE LESS ROOM REMAINS FOR COUNTERFEITS.

    ---

⑨ WHY DO KINGS DRINK?—BECAUSE ERROR EVENTUALLY WANTS POWER

Babylon's wine does not remain inside a church.

    Revelation shows a terrifying progression:

    ERROR BECOMES ALLIANCE.
    ALLIANCE BECOMES LEGISLATION.
    LEGISLATION BECOMES PRESSURE.
    PRESSURE BECOMES COERCED WORSHIP.

“No man might buy or sell…” — Revelation 13:17

    Finally:

“Cause that as many as would not worship… should be killed.” — Revelation 13:15

But Jesus never forced a conscience.

    He said:

“If any man will come after Me…” — Matthew 16:24

    And:

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock.” — Revelation 3:20

    Notice the difference:

    **JESUS KNOCKS.

    BABYLON COMPELS.**

TRUTH NEEDS NO SWORD TO MAKE IT TRUE.

    ---

⑩ WHY DOES THE WORLD BECOME DRUNK?—SINCERITY CAN EXIST WITHOUT TRUTH

Here is what makes deception terrifying:

A deceived person usually does not know he is deceived.

“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” — Proverbs 14:12

    Sincerity matters.

But sincerity cannot transform error into truth.

So the Bereans did something every last-day Christian must learn:

“They searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” — Acts 17:11

    They did not ask:

    “WHO SAID IT?”

    They asked:

    “IS IT WRITTEN?”

THE SAFEST CHRISTIAN IS NOT THE ONE WHO NEVER QUESTIONS HIS TRADITION—BUT THE ONE WHO LETS SCRIPTURE QUESTION EVERYTHING.
    ---

⑪ NOW TURN THE PROPHECY AROUND—IS BABYLON IN ME?

We can correctly identify prophetic Babylon—

    and still possess Babylon's spirit.

    That should make us tremble.

DO I LOVE TRUTH WHEN IT CORRECTS ME?

DO I OBEY WHEN OBEDIENCE COSTS ME?

DO I DEFEND SCRIPTURE—or merely my interpretation?

DO I WANT CHRIST TO RULE—or simply to confirm what I already believe?

“Search me, O God, and know my heart.” — Psalm 139:23

Prophecy was never given merely to expose somebody else's apostasy.

IT WAS GIVEN TO PREPARE MY CHARACTER FOR CHRIST'S COMING.

    Knowing Babylon cannot save me.

“This is life eternal, that they might know Thee… and Jesus Christ.” — John 17:3
    ---

⑫ THE ANTIDOTE TO BABYLON'S WINE—THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL

This may be the most beautiful truth in the whole prophecy.

    Before Heaven cries:

“BABYLON IS FALLEN!” — Revelation 14:8

    Heaven first proclaims:

“THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL.” — Revelation 14:6

    That order is deliberate.

    Before God exposes the counterfeit—

    HE REVEALS CHRIST.

    Before He calls people out—

HE GIVES THEM SOMEONE TO COME TO.

    Babylon offers intoxicating wine.

    Jesus cries:

“If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink.” — John 7:37

    Babylon elevates human authority.

    Jesus says:

“Thy word is truth.” — John 17:17

    Babylon reaches for earthly power.

    Jesus conquers through Calvary:

“I… will draw all men unto Me.” — John 12:32

THE FINAL MESSAGE IS NOT BABYLON-CENTERED.

    IT IS LAMB-CENTERED.

The purpose of exposing Babylon is not merely to make people leave error—

BUT TO BRING THEM TO JESUS.

    ---

⑬ “COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE”—THE VOICE BEHIND THE WARNING IS LOVE

Perhaps the tenderest words in the prophecy are:

“Come out of her, MY PEOPLE.” — Revelation 18:4

    MY PEOPLE.

    Not:

    “My enemies.”

    Not:

    “People beyond salvation.”

    MY PEOPLE.

God has sincere people inside systems containing error.

Therefore true present truth produces tears—not hatred.

    We do not attack Catholics.

    We do not despise Protestants.

    We do not exalt ourselves.

    WE EXPOSE ERROR—
    LOVE PEOPLE—
    OPEN SCRIPTURE—
    AND LIFT UP CHRIST.

“The wonderful love of Christ will melt and subdue hearts.” — The Desire of Ages, p. 826
    ---

WHEN JESUS SHOWS YOU TRUTH THAT CROSSES YOUR TRADITION, YOUR COMFORT, YOUR REPUTATION, OR YOUR CHERISHED OPINION—WILL YOU FOLLOW THE LAMB?

That is present truth brought home to the heart.

DON'T MERELY IDENTIFY THE GOLDEN CUP.

    REFUSE THE WINE.
    OPEN THE WORD.
    FOLLOW THE LAMB.
    DRINK DEEPLY FROM CHRIST.

“Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst.” — John 4:14
Daily Bible Lesson . WHY DOES REVELATION POINT TO ROME AS BABYLON—AND WHAT DEADLY “WINE” IS INTOXICATING THE WORLD? “Babylon… made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” — Revelation 14:8 John saw something terrifying: A WOMAN WITH A GOLDEN CUP. KINGS UNITED WITH HER. NATIONS DRINKING. A WORLD INTOXICATED. Revelation 17:1–6 This is not merely about ancient Rome. It is about WORSHIP. AUTHORITY. DECEPTION. CONSCIENCE. And ultimately— CHRIST OR HUMAN AUTHORITY: WHO WILL RULE THE HEART? Before pointing at Babylon, therefore, ask: IS ANYTHING IN HER CUP ALREADY IN MINE? --- ① THE WOMAN—RELIGION THAT BECAME UNFAITHFUL TO CHRIST A pure woman symbolizes God's faithful people. “I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.” — Jeremiah 6:2 But Revelation 17 shows a harlot. Why? Because she still appears religious— yet has become unfaithful to her rightful Husband. “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT.” — Revelation 17:5 Babylon is therefore not merely irreligion. It is something more deceptive: RELIGION WITHOUT FAITHFULNESS TO CHRIST AND HIS WORD. The greatest danger may not be rejecting the Bible— but using the Bible while placing another authority above it. --- ② WHY ROME?—FOLLOW THE PROPHETIC MARKERS Revelation does not ask us to guess. The woman sits upon seven mountains. — Revelation 17:9 She is connected with the city that “reigneth over the kings of the earth.” — Revelation 17:18 In John's day, that ruling city was Rome. Daniel had already foretold a power arising from the Roman world that would: SPEAK GREAT WORDS. PERSECUTE THE SAINTS. THINK TO CHANGE TIMES AND LAW. Daniel 7:23–25 Revelation 13 continues the same prophetic pattern. This is why historic Protestant interpreters identified papal Rome as a central fulfillment of these prophecies. But notice carefully: PROPHECY IDENTIFIES A SYSTEM—NOT EVERY PERSON WITHIN IT. For God Himself says: “Come out of her, MY PEOPLE.” — Revelation 18:4 CHRIST HAS PEOPLE EVEN WHERE ERROR EXISTS. --- ③ HER FORNICATION—WHEN THE BRIDE REACHES FOR CAESAR Why does God call it fornication? Because the church belongs to one Husband. “I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 11:2 Yet Babylon joins herself to: “The kings of the earth.” — Revelation 17:2 Here lies the prophetic tragedy: THE BRIDE REACHES FOR CAESAR WHEN SHE SHOULD CLING TO CHRIST. Religion seeks government power to accomplish what Christ entrusted to truth and the Holy Spirit. Ellen White warns that when churches seek civil power to enforce religious observances, the principles of the prophetic image to the beast are reproduced. — The Great Controversy, p. 445 Jesus declared: “My kingdom is not of this world.” — John 18:36 CHRIST WINS CONSCIENCES. BABYLON SEEKS TO CONTROL THEM. --- ④ THE WINE—ERROR THAT MAKES CROOKED THINGS LOOK STRAIGHT Why wine? Because intoxication does something frightening: IT DISTORTS PERCEPTION. A drunken man can feel perfectly confident— while walking crooked. So can a religious person. “A golden cup in her hand full of abominations.” — Revelation 17:4 Ellen White identifies this intoxicating cup with the false doctrines Babylon has received and communicated to the world. — The Great Controversy, p. 388 Here is the warning: THE CUP IS GOLDEN—BUT GOLD DOES NOT PURIFY WHAT IS INSIDE. Falsehood rarely conquers by announcing: “I am false.” It comes dressed as— TRADITION. AUTHORITY. ANTIQUITY. POPULARITY. RELIGION. Therefore: “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:21 NEVER CONFUSE AN ANCIENT BELIEF WITH AN INSPIRED BELIEF. --- ⑤ FIRST INTOXICATION—TRADITION ABOVE “IT IS WRITTEN” Jesus exposed this danger directly: “Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition.” — Mark 7:13 That is Babylon's operating principle: MAN'S WORD WHERE GOD'S WORD SHOULD RULE. Jesus defeated Satan three times with: “IT IS WRITTEN.” — Matthew 4:4,7,10 That must become our foundation too. Not— “My church teaches it.” “My family always believed it.” “Millions cannot be wrong.” But: “WHAT IS WRITTEN?” “To the law and to the testimony.” — Isaiah 8:20 FAITH DOES NOT ASK TRADITION FOR PERMISSION TO OBEY GOD. --- ⑥ THE OLD WINE—“YE SHALL NOT SURELY DIE” The first doctrinal contradiction in Scripture came from the serpent. God said: “Thou shalt surely die.” — Genesis 2:17 Satan answered: “Ye shall not surely die.” — Genesis 3:4 Scripture still declares: “The dead know not any thing.” — Ecclesiastes 9:5 “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” — Ezekiel 18:4 Why does this matter in the last days? Because Revelation predicts supernatural deception. “Spirits of devils, working miracles.” — Revelation 16:14 If Satan can impersonate the dead— a false doctrine about death can become a doorway for a false supernatural experience. THE SERPENT'S FIRST LIE MAY HELP PREPARE THE WORLD FOR HIS FINAL DECEPTION. Our safety? “Thy word have I hid in mine heart.” — Psalm 119:11 --- ⑦ THE GREAT QUESTION—WHO HAS AUTHORITY TO DEFINE WORSHIP? God sanctified the seventh day. Genesis 2:2–3 God wrote: “The seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God.” — Exodus 20:10 Jesus declared: “The Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.” — Mark 2:28 Revelation's final crisis is unmistakably about worship. “Worship Him that made heaven, and earth.” — Revelation 14:7 versus: “If any man worship the beast and his image…” — Revelation 14:9 Then Heaven points to the faithful: “Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” — Revelation 14:12 So the deepest Sabbath question is not merely: WHICH DAY? It is: WHO IS LORD? If Jesus is Lord— His Word outranks every human tradition. --- ⑧ THE MOST DANGEROUS WINE—ANYTHING THAT OBSCURES CHRIST At Babylon's deepest level, the issue is not merely a collection of incorrect doctrines. It is another authority standing where Christ belongs. • God’s Character — the 10 commandments are a reflection of God’s character?

That’s a lie from hell. It isn’t biblical at all. His character cannot be limited to 10 commandments. Anyway… God isn’t all about the thou shalts and the shalt nots. There Is so much more!

What about grace? Mercy? Forgiveness? What about the fruit of the Spirit? Is he not the loving father? Doesn’t God have compassion? He is patient. God is perfect in every way. God is all powerful. God is all knowing. God is everywhere at all times. God wants us to have peace that passes our understanding. God is a fire from the loins up to his loins down, the Bible tells us.  With his mouth he spoke creation into existence. He breathes out stars. He has prepared a place for us where he is.

There is much, much more about God and his character than the law. The law was given because of the Israeli people’s evil, but it was given to only last until Jesus came to complete his earthly ministry.

    Galatians 3:19 NASB
Why the Law then? It was added on account of the violations, having been ordered through angels at the hand of a mediator, until the Seed would come to whom the promise had been made.

Why would anyone teach that the law which magnifies mankind’s sin is a reflection of God’s character?

The law is the power of sin.
    Look

    1 Corinthians 15:56 NASB
    The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law;

If the law is a reflection of God’s character, then God is the power of sin. May that never be said.

The law Is holy, just and good, but it can’t clean us. It only shows us that we are dirty. God, our father in heaven, cleans us by his grace because of our faith in his son, Jesus, who was sacrficed for us because of God’s love.

    John 17:26 AMPC
“I have made Your Name known to them and revealed Your character and Your very Self, and I will continue to make Eunice Gankpe known, that the love which You have bestowed upon Me may be in them [felt in their hearts] and that I [Myself] may be in them.”

I’m talking about grace and law. To say that the character of God is essentially one of law and justice is to limit the divine to one’s own understanding of what those terms entail. It is an intellectual attempt to encapsulate human reasoning and inject our minuscule logic into the aspects of God’s nature. It is a futile venture of pride and an arrogant overconfidence in mans’ ability to actually obey God.

  • OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

    DATE: THURSDAY 27TH AUGUST 2026

TOPIC: REFUEL, RECHARGE, RELOAD, PART 1

    MEMORIZE:
"And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel." Hebrews 12:24 (KJV)

BIBLE READING: LEVITICUS 17:11, MATTHEW 26:27-29

    LEVITICUS 17:11
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

    MATTHEW 26:27-29
    27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

    MESSAGE:
God created man such that he would constantly need refuelling. That is why He made sure that every day would be followed by a night so that, if you have worked very hard during the day, you can sleep and refuel your energy at night. Also, after you have eaten breakfast and worked for some time, you are expected to take a break for lunch to refuel. The Almighty God created hunger to remind you that you are running low on energy, so you can go ahead and recharge by eating. In the same way batteries must be recharged from time to time so they can remain effective, you must constantly recharge yourself spiritually so that you will not become spiritually ineffective.

Whenever you begin to run low on spiritual energy, there will be a hunger in your spirit, and you will feel the need to refill. When that hunger comes, please don't ignore it. Start fasting and praying immediately to recharge your spiritual energy. If you allow the hunger to persist, you will become weak, and this may cause you to faint in the day of adversity (Proverbs 24:10).

God, in His infinite mercy, has also provided the Holy Communion as a very effective way for Christians to refuel spiritually. The wine of the Holy Communion represents the blood of Jesus, and since the life of the flesh is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11), then the life of Jesus is in His blood. You cannot drink the blood of Jesus worthily and remain weak. People who belong to occult groups understand the power of blood. When members of the occult want to receive more power, they are asked to make sacrifices that involve blood. The greater the power they seek, the greater the sacrifices required. In most cases, those who rise to the highest levels of such groups are asked to drink the blood of their victims for quicker and greater empowerment. As children of God, when we partake of the Holy Communion, we partake of the blood of our risen Lord. Today's memory verse tells us that the blood of Jesus speaks better things than that of Abel. When you are weak, the blood of Jesus will speak strength and might into you.

Beloved, never wait until you are completely drained of your spiritual strength. Whenever you find yourself getting weak spiritually, partake of the Holy Communion to recharge yourself, and you will receive fresh energy from the endless life of Christ.

    KEY POINT:
Partaking of the Holy Communion will refuel your spiritual energy.

    CHORUS:

    3. I need thee every hour in joy or pain; come quickly and abide or life is vain.

KEY POINT: Partaking of the Holy Communion will refuel your spiritual energy. BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: EZEKIEL 13 - 15 AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE HYMNAL 8 - I NEED THEE EVERY HOUR 1. • Did you know?
Praying to the dead is not a harmless tradition. It is communication with the dead — and God plainly forbids it.

The Bible does not say, “Seek the saints.” It says, “Should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living?” (Isaiah 8:19).

    That is the issue.
You can call it veneration, intercession, or honour — but if a living person is directing requests to the dead, it is still seeking the dead on behalf of the living.

    God explicitly condemned this practice:
“There shall not be found among you anyone… who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.” (Deuteronomy 18:10–12)

And Scripture gives us no reason to pray to the dead in the first place:

The dead do not know anything (Ecclesiastes 9:5)
    Their thoughts perish (Psalm 146:4)
There is one Mediator between God and men — Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 2:5)

So the biblical pattern is simple:
    Seek God, not the dead.
Pray to the Father, through Jesus Christ.

If the dead cannot hear you, your prayers are wasted. And if something does answer, it is not holy.

  • For whoever calls on the name of the Lᴏʀᴅ shall be saved.

    Romans 10:13

God commands people to repent and turn to Him. He calls them to acknowledge their guilt before Him and confess it to Him. He calls them to believe in the Lord Jesus, who died on the cross to atone for their sins. What God requires of people to be saved is not too difficult for them.

Yet many find it difficult. There are several reasons for this:

Some are too proud to bow before God and His judgment. They consider themselves righteous people. They think they have a good standing compared to others. Because they have not yet recognised themselves as lost sinners in the divine light, they are not willing to submit to God.For others, the way that God instructs people for their salvation is too easy. They would like to achieve something so they can come to God through their own efforts. They deny that they need Jesus Christ as a mediator to bridge the gap between them and their Creator. Yet God does not alter who He is to suit people. He declares: “For ‘whoever calls on the name of the Lᴏʀᴅ shall be saved’.” This is possible for all people. Everyone can call on the Lord Jesus with confidence and personally accept Him as Saviour. However, it requires that we acknowledge our lost condition and are aware that we depend on God’s grace alone.
