  • SERMON: WAKE UP AND CHOOSE HOLINESS — OR MISS ETERNAL LIFE

    Text: Hebrews 12:14 — "Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord."
    Text 2: Matthew 7:21 — "Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father."

    INTRODUCTION:

    Church, we love to say "I am saved, I believe." True, we are saved by grace through faith Ephesians 2:8.

    But Bible says believe without obedience, without living pure life, earns no eternal life.

    James 2:17,26 — Faith without works is dead. Dead faith cannot save.

    This is a warning to church that has got GREEN 7 vision on the wall — calling for spiritual revival, repentance, awakening, rebirth. Get prepared now or you will miss eternal life and be cast in eternal fire. For eternal life God gives it to righteous only.

    PART 1: BELIEVING ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH — OBEDIENCE IS PROOF

    Romans 6:16 — "Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?"

    You say you believe, but you still obey jealousy, gossiping, quarreling, fornication, lies — you are still slave to sin leading to death.

    Luke 6:46 — Jesus says "Why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and do not do things which I say?"

    1 John 2:3-4 — "Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says I know Him and does not keep His commandments is a liar, and truth is not in him."

    Titus 1:16 — They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him.

    Many in church are saved but living flesh mindset — that is compromise of truth.

    PART 2: WHAT IS COMPROMISE OF TRUTH? — THE FLESH MINDSET

    You must wake up and choose holiness above all else — above prosperity gospel, above money, above fame.

    Compromise = Choosing prosperity gospel over holiness. Choosing flesh mindset.

    Galatians 5:19-21 — "Now works of flesh are evident: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries... those who practice such things will not inherit kingdom of God."

    Look: Jealous, gossiping, quarreling = will NOT inherit kingdom. That is what you wrote.

    1 Corinthians 6:9-10 — Neither fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, thieves, covetous, drunkards, revilers, extortioners will inherit kingdom.

    2 Timothy 3:1-5 — In last days men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient — having form of godliness but denying its power.

    Church, if you still live like this, your salvation is not finished.

    PART 3: THOUGH YOU ARE SAVED, YOU MUST RUN A CLEAN RACE TO END

    Philippians 2:12 — "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling."

    Hebrews 12:1 — "Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, laying aside every weight and sin which so easily ensnares us."

    2 Timothy 4:7-8 — Paul says "I have fought good fight, I have finished race, I have kept faith. Finally there is laid up for me crown of righteousness, which Lord, righteous Judge, will give to me."

    Not starting race — finishing clean race.

    1 Corinthians 9:27 — Paul says "I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified."

    Matthew 24:13 — "He who endures to end shall be saved."

    Your final salvation is at end, not at beginning. 1 Peter 1:9 — receiving end of your faith — salvation of your souls.

    PART 4: GREEN 7 VISION ON WALL — CALL FOR REVIVAL, REPENTANCE, AWAKENING, REBIRTH

    You asked what is Green 7 on wall. This is what God showed me, Reagan, His servant witness.

    Proverbs 29:18 — Where there is no vision, people perish.

    GREEN = Mercy, life, green pastures Psalm 23:2, revival, Holy Spirit life. Psalm 52:8 — I am like green olive tree in house of God.

    7 = Completion, perfection Genesis 2:2-3, fullness of God.

    GREEN 7 ON WALL = Final fullness of God's mercy calling for:

    Spiritual Revival: Habakkuk 3:2 — "O LORD, revive Your work in midst of years." Psalm 85:6 — Will You not revive us again?
    Repentance: Acts 3:19 — "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come."
    Awakening: Ephesians 5:14 — "Awake, you who sleep, arise from dead, and Christ will give you light." Romans 13:11 — Now it is high time to awake out of sleep.
    Rebirth: John 3:3,5 — Unless one is born again, born of water and Spirit, cannot enter kingdom.

    This vision was given so you don't miss eternal life. Wall means it is written before you — warning is posted.

    PART 5: ETERNAL LIFE GOD GIVES TO RIGHTEOUS ONLY — OR ETERNAL FIRE

    Revelation 21:8 — "But cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is second death."

    Matthew 25:46 — These will go away into everlasting punishment, but righteous into eternal life.

    Romans 2:6-8 — God "will render to each one according to his deeds: eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey truth, but obey unrighteousness — indignation and wrath."

    Psalm 11:7 — For the LORD is righteous, He loves righteousness.

    God is righteous Judge 2 Timothy 4:8 — He cannot give eternal life to unrighteous. Must be righteous — washed by blood AND living pure Revelation 7:14, 14:4-5.

    144,000 are seen as pure before God Rev14:4-5 — blameless. That is righteousness.

    CONCLUSION: CHOOSE NOW

    Joshua 24:15 — Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve.

    Deuteronomy 30:19 — I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life.

    Saved, church — wake up! Stop prosperity gospel lie that says "once saved always saved while living in sin." Stop flesh mindset — jealous, gossiping, quarreling.

    Green 7 is last mercy. Next is RED 7 — blood, judgment complete. And skeleton vision — dead bones without Spirit.

    Pray:

    In Name of JESUS THE LAMB OF GOD, I repent! I turn from compromise of truth! I choose holiness above all else Heb 12:14! I will run clean race to end Heb 12:1! I receive Green 7 revival, awakening, rebirth John 3:3! Make me righteous by blood and obedience Rom 6:16, pure, blameless Rev14:5, so I miss not eternal life! Amen!

  • WE LIVE FOR THE KINGDOM

    But Seek Ye First The Kingdom Of God, And His Righteousness; And All These Things Shall Be Added Unto You (Matthew 6:33 KJV).

    In life, what you live for determines how you live. The Lord Jesus made it clear that your focus isn’t to be on the material things of this world but on the Kingdom. He said in Luke 12:15, “…Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.”

    Many worry about material possessions, but you don’t get better by worrying. No one ever did. The Master made this clear when He asked in Luke 12:25, “...which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?” Worry, rather than improve your condition, distracts you from your true calling. That’s why He said don’t be anxious about your life, what you’ll eat, what you’ll drink, or what you’ll wear. You’ve been called to a higher purpose.

    Your heavenly Father already made everything you require for life and godliness available to you: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3). 2 Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness…” 1 Corinthians 3:21 says, “…all things are yours.”

    Consequently, He tells you what your priority in life should be: seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. That means everywhere you are, be conscious of the Kingdom. In your family, among your friends, in your workplace, in your school, your concern should be: Is the Kingdom of God established here? If it isn’t, you bring it there.

    Make Christ known, and see to it that men receive and are established in His righteousness. Manifest His righteousness everywhere. This involves seeking what God wants, not what men want. Even when resolving issues amongst people, you don’t look for who’s right or wrong; you establish the righteousness of God.

    Many struggle and are frustrated in life because they’re seeking their own way, their own satisfaction. But true satisfaction comes from seeking God’s Kingdom and expressing His righteousness. That’s living for the Kingdom.

  • Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY. SATURDAY AUGUST 29, 2O26.
    "THERE’S NOBODY LIKE HIM! (4)"

    ‘Let all that I am praise the Lord;...’ Psalms 103:2 NLT

    THE BIBLE equates God with light, and light with holiness. ‘…God is light; in him there is no darkness at all’ (1 John 1:5 NIV). Paul said that God dwells in ‘…unapproachable light…’ (1 Timothy 6:16 NIV). Scripture refers to Christ ‘…who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners…’ (Hebrews 7:26 NIV). So how should you approach such a God? As you would an auditor when your books don’t balance? Or a dictator who holds the power of life and death? No, Jesus told us to pray, ‘…Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name’ (Matthew 6:9 KJV). There’s your answer! You must come to God as a father who loves you dearly and desires only what is best for you, while always regarding Him with profound reverence. As your awe of God expands, your fears in life will diminish. A big view of God translates into big courage; a small view of God generates no courage at all. A puny God can’t help you when cancer strikes, your family is in trouble, or you’ve no way to pay your bills. A ‘do-me-a-favour’ Jesus may look good stuck on your dashboard, but that image can do nothing for your fears. You need an awesome God, who, while diminishing your ego, enlarges your faith and blows your mind. David wrote: ‘Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things…’ (Psalms 103:2-5 NLT).

    *SUNDRY WORDS OF WISDOM*

    *TEXT:* PROVERBS 13:18-25.

    18 Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.
    19 The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.
    20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
    21 Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.
    22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
    23 Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.
    24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
    25 The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.

    *Timeless Truth:*_"He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed"_ (Proverbs 13:20).

    *INTRODUCTION*

    If people are asked how to differentiate a wise person from a foolish person, the answer will differ according to the wisdom or foolishness of individuals giving the answer. Unfortunately, in most cases, the foolish see themselves as wiser than the wise. The successful and rich farmer in Luke 12:19-21 appeared to have had wisdom to make wealth and multiply it. Most people will take such, today as wise and smart, but God called him a fool. So a wise man in the eyes of an earthly person is not necessarily wise as far as the Ancient of Days is concerned. The Word of God is therefore, the most reliable and best literature on true and divinely approved wisdom. It looks at wisdom in the context of eternity and not in the context of ephemeral things of this world. The book of Proverbs contains practical wisdom for victorious and godly living. The text gives us some lectures on what constitutes true wisdom in the sight of God and in the sight of truth loving men. In essence, we can perceive wisdom in a person through his words, ways of life, values, choices and disciplines.

    *1. Humility in Receiving Instruction*

    One of the outputs of wisdom is the humility to accept and obey godly instructions. Anyone who claims, by his actions, that he is above instruction must claim to be on the same table of wisdom with the Omniscience God. That will be foolishness. *“Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.”* Refusing godly correction often leads to painful consequences, while accepting rebuke produces growth and honour. A teachable spirit is a mark of wisdom.

    *Question*

    How do you respond when godly correction is given to you? Is a proud intelligent or wealthy person wise?

    *2. The Happiness in Realization of Interest*

    *“The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul…”* This is well known experientially. There is joy when righteous desires are fulfilled. What if the desire that is accomplished is evil? Is it still sweet to the soul? This is how to differentiate a fool from the wise. For the wise, when evil desires come to pass, they are sad and unhappy. They cannot rest until they go to God for mercy. The fool reacts differently. They are happy at the evil that happens because *"it is abomination for fools to depart from evil"*. They are always right and wise in their own eyes even when they do evil or evil happens.

    *Question*

    Do you rejoice when evil desires are accomplished? Do you rejoice when good things happen to others? You can always judge whether you are a fool in the eyes of God or not.

    *3. The Healthy of Relationship with the Intelligent*

    *“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”* Our companions influence our character, decisions and future. Walking with wise people, according to Divine definition of wisdom, promotes wisdom, while intimate association with foolish people can bring sorrow.
    Your peers influence your principles and your principle determines your prudence. Your relationships reform your Character and your character determines your personality.

    *Question*

    Are your closest companions helping you to grow in wisdom and godliness?

    *4. The Harvests of Reward for Involvements*

    Whatever is sown will be harvested in multiple folds whether good or evil. It is a matter of time.
    *"Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repaid.”* Nobody should deceive himself that if he sows sin and sows to the flesh he will reap righteousness and spirituality. Those who sow love and goodness will reap the same with their children. Sin has consequences and eventually, catches up with the unrepentant. God, however, watches over the righteous and rewards those who faithfully follow Him.

    *Question*

    What are you sowing with your tongue and talents?

    *5. Having Righteous Inheritance*

    *“A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children…”* The inheritance can be education, wealth, good spiritual and moral upbringing. A godly inheritance includes more than money and possessions. Faith, integrity, wisdom, good character and the fear of God are treasures that can bless generations. A wise father invests all these good things in the life of the younger generation through any medium possible just like Jesus gave us diver blessings as he departed from the world.

    *Question*

    Do you demonstrate wisdom by investing invaluable things to your younger generation through any medium available?

    *6. The Huge Results of Ignorance*

    *“Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.”*
    God can provide abundance through diligent labour. The poor remains poor not because he was made so, but just because he could not till the ground and labour. Furthermore, poor decisions, injustice and lack of wise management may destroy what could have been fruitful. Those who are enjoying bountiful harvests in a godly way are using God's wisdom while those who remain poor should go and learn the wisdom of God.

    *Question*

    Are you using the opportunities and resources God has given you with wisdom and good judgment?

    *7. Home Rulership without Indiscipline*

    *“He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.”* The rod is not necessarily physical. It may also be psychological, frowns or stern rebukes. Genuine love does not ignore wrongdoing. A child left to himself will be spoilt and become a source of shame to the parents and the society. Schools might be forbidden from spanking, but God expects parents, both natural and spiritual, to enforce discipline lovingly and godly.Godly discipline, exercised with wisdom and love, helps to correct, train and guide children in the right path.

    *Question*

    Do you apply wisdom and love in the discipline of the erring both in the Church and the natural family?

    *8. Divine Recompence according to the Heart*

    *“The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.”* God knows the needs of His people and is able to provide for them. The righteous learn contentment and dependence upon God, while wickedness ultimately leads to emptiness.

    *Question*

    Do you trust God daily as your Provider and seek to live in righteousness before Him?

    ```TEXT:PROVERBS 13:18-25```
    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil" (PROVERBS 13:19).*_

    *"Some desire is necessary to keep life in motion," said the English writer, moralist and sermonist, Samuel Johnson, "and he whose real wants are supplied, must admit those of fancy." The problem often arises from the nature of the desire people harbour. Most people desire what they do not need, but what serves their fancies. Some are never able to distinguish between the needs they should desire and the wants that serve little purpose.*

    *King Solomon, the writer of these couplets in the Proverbs, could justifiably claim expertise on the sometimes messy topic of desires. He lived for a time to satisfy his personal desires, to feed his body with whatever he wanted. But in the end, he saw them as vanity, inferring by his conduct that he, who was the wisest of men in his time had succumbed to the cravings of the most foolish people. He therefore, warned of the consequences of rejecting instructions, probably alluding to his action, emphasising that even if the desires of such people were accomplished and seemed "sweet to the soul", at least for a time, it offers no incentive to the foolish person to shun evil conducts. He draws a parallel between those that keep company with wise men, and companions of unwise people. He concludes that sinners are invariably unwise in what truly matters in life, and are therefore unable to bequeath a legacy of inheritance to generations after them. Stressing the destructive nature of poor judgment, the wise preacher also counselled against withholding discipline from children, and affirms that it is an expression of love to ensure that children are brought up well. In the end, this is part of what brings satisfaction to the righteous, as the fruit of his labour.*

    *It is no doubt, desirable to achieve our goals in life, but we must be careful as not every desire is worth pursuing. Some are so deadly that when you set your heart on them, you may lose the ability to determine what is truly good, and what is dangerous. Often, our desires influence how we justly assess our actions. At such a time, it becomes important whose words we obey, whose advice we accept, and whose friendship we keep. The word of God must under-guard our every action. Any desire that panders more to our ego or serves only our flesh runs counter to God's command. We must focus on what God says, and shun any desire that tends towards pride and vainglory.*

    ```Key Verse:``` _*"And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done" (Joshua 7:20).*_
    As the children of Israel prepared to attack Jericho, the gateway to Canaan land, God commanded them to destroy all the people of Jericho with all their properties, except the vessels of silver, gold, brass and iron which were meant to be used for God's service. They were warned never to take for themselves any property from Jericho.
    After conquering Jericho, they proceeded to fight against a tiny enemy town called Ai. But in the process, thirty-six men among the Israelites were killed by the men of Ai, and the rest were chased away shamefully and disgraced because one of the men of Israel called Achan disobeyed God's command. This made God not to protect or help them in the battle.
    Achan fell into a chain of sins by:
    *(1) Looking at and admiring the Babylonish garment, money and gold.*
    *(2) Coveting the Babylonish properties.*
    *(3) Disobeying God's command by stealing the Babylonish properties.*
    *(4) Trying to cover his sins by secretly hiding the stolen Babylonish properties in his room.*
    *(5) Influencing his family members to join him in covering up his sins.*
    *(6) Causing the death of his family and thirty-six men of Israel.*
    *(7) Causing the anger of God to come upon the Israelites.*
    Achan's sins could not be hidden from God. He was exposed and disgraced. Himself, his wife and children were all stoned to death and burnt with all their properties including what he stole and attempted to cover up.
    *At the tail end of every chain of sins is damnation and destruction. But only Jesus has the power to break the chain and set the sinner free through repentance and cleansing in His precious blood. Repent now and be free from the consequences of your sins.*
    2. Morning Prayer for today.
    MP.i. Morning Prayer
    And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; ⏤ Colossians 3:23
    The great thing in prayer is to feel that we are putting our supplications into the bosom of omnipotent love. ⏤ Andrew Murray
    We come into Your presence, O great and glorious God, to begin the day at Your feet. Without Your blessing, we dare not venture into the twisting paths of the world. We desire to do good work today. Keep us from being satisfied with merely fulfilling our duties; may we do even the smallest tasks with excellence, so as to please You.
    We also desire to live well in our family life. Sometimes we fail to do our best at home. We grow careless, and we do not speak as affectionately as we should. We are less courteous and kind than we might be. We do not always give the best expressions of love to those closest to us. Teach us, Father, to love at home—and to show our love. Preserve us from impatience, irritability, and frustration in our interactions as a home, and give us the spirit of love.
    We also desire to show love in all our relationships with the world. Give us a generous heart toward our neighbors. Help us to be like Jesus, who, when reviled, did not revile in return—who bore injury and insult with meekness and gentleness. May we have the same patient love that He had. If we suffer wrong from others, may we bear it quietly, without resentment, returning good for evil and kindness for unkindness.
    May we have the spirit of helpfulness toward all our neighbors. May we be like the Good Samaritan to anyone we find in distress or need. Enable us to carry the love of Jesus to every life we touch. Make us good interpreters of Jesus' divine love and kindness. May our neighbors see in us the holiness of Jesus. Let our day be one of beauty and grace, full of Jesus and full of goodness to others. We ask this in the blessed name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
    Good morning, brethren. 1. Morning devotion for today. MD.i. 😀🌹🎀🎁💝🌺 MORNING TEA THE WORD FOR TODAY. SATURDAY AUGUST 29, 2O26. "THERE’S NOBODY LIKE HIM! (4)" ‘Let all that I am praise the Lord;...’ Psalms 103:2 NLT THE BIBLE equates God with light, and light with holiness. ‘…God is light; in him there is no darkness at all’ (1 John 1:5 NIV). Paul said that God dwells in ‘…unapproachable light…’ (1 Timothy 6:16 NIV). Scripture refers to Christ ‘…who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners…’ (Hebrews 7:26 NIV). So how should you approach such a God? As you would an auditor when your books don’t balance? Or a dictator who holds the power of life and death? No, Jesus told us to pray, ‘…Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name’ (Matthew 6:9 KJV). There’s your answer! You must come to God as a father who loves you dearly and desires only what is best for you, while always regarding Him with profound reverence. As your awe of God expands, your fears in life will diminish. A big view of God translates into big courage; a small view of God generates no courage at all. A puny God can’t help you when cancer strikes, your family is in trouble, or you’ve no way to pay your bills. A ‘do-me-a-favour’ Jesus may look good stuck on your dashboard, but that image can do nothing for your fears. You need an awesome God, who, while diminishing your ego, enlarges your faith and blows your mind. David wrote: ‘Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things…’ (Psalms 103:2-5 NLT). [28/08, 9:18 pm] Pastor Attah: *MEDITATIONS ON DAILY ⓂANNA* SATURDAY, 29TH AUGUST, 2026. *SUNDRY WORDS OF WISDOM* *TEXT:* PROVERBS 13:18-25. 18 Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured. 19 The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil. 20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. 21 Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed. 22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. 23 Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment. 24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes. 25 The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want. *Timeless Truth:*_"He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed"_ (Proverbs 13:20). *INTRODUCTION* If people are asked how to differentiate a wise person from a foolish person, the answer will differ according to the wisdom or foolishness of individuals giving the answer. Unfortunately, in most cases, the foolish see themselves as wiser than the wise. The successful and rich farmer in Luke 12:19-21 appeared to have had wisdom to make wealth and multiply it. Most people will take such, today as wise and smart, but God called him a fool. So a wise man in the eyes of an earthly person is not necessarily wise as far as the Ancient of Days is concerned. The Word of God is therefore, the most reliable and best literature on true and divinely approved wisdom. It looks at wisdom in the context of eternity and not in the context of ephemeral things of this world. The book of Proverbs contains practical wisdom for victorious and godly living. The text gives us some lectures on what constitutes true wisdom in the sight of God and in the sight of truth loving men. In essence, we can perceive wisdom in a person through his words, ways of life, values, choices and disciplines. *1. Humility in Receiving Instruction* One of the outputs of wisdom is the humility to accept and obey godly instructions. Anyone who claims, by his actions, that he is above instruction must claim to be on the same table of wisdom with the Omniscience God. That will be foolishness. *“Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.”* Refusing godly correction often leads to painful consequences, while accepting rebuke produces growth and honour. A teachable spirit is a mark of wisdom. *Question* How do you respond when godly correction is given to you? Is a proud intelligent or wealthy person wise? *2. The Happiness in Realization of Interest* *“The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul…”* This is well known experientially. There is joy when righteous desires are fulfilled. What if the desire that is accomplished is evil? Is it still sweet to the soul? This is how to differentiate a fool from the wise. For the wise, when evil desires come to pass, they are sad and unhappy. They cannot rest until they go to God for mercy. The fool reacts differently. They are happy at the evil that happens because *"it is abomination for fools to depart from evil"*. They are always right and wise in their own eyes even when they do evil or evil happens. *Question* Do you rejoice when evil desires are accomplished? Do you rejoice when good things happen to others? You can always judge whether you are a fool in the eyes of God or not. *3. The Healthy of Relationship with the Intelligent* *“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”* Our companions influence our character, decisions and future. Walking with wise people, according to Divine definition of wisdom, promotes wisdom, while intimate association with foolish people can bring sorrow. Your peers influence your principles and your principle determines your prudence. Your relationships reform your Character and your character determines your personality. *Question* Are your closest companions helping you to grow in wisdom and godliness? *4. The Harvests of Reward for Involvements* Whatever is sown will be harvested in multiple folds whether good or evil. It is a matter of time. *"Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repaid.”* Nobody should deceive himself that if he sows sin and sows to the flesh he will reap righteousness and spirituality. Those who sow love and goodness will reap the same with their children. Sin has consequences and eventually, catches up with the unrepentant. God, however, watches over the righteous and rewards those who faithfully follow Him. *Question* What are you sowing with your tongue and talents? *5. Having Righteous Inheritance* *“A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children…”* The inheritance can be education, wealth, good spiritual and moral upbringing. A godly inheritance includes more than money and possessions. Faith, integrity, wisdom, good character and the fear of God are treasures that can bless generations. A wise father invests all these good things in the life of the younger generation through any medium possible just like Jesus gave us diver blessings as he departed from the world. *Question* Do you demonstrate wisdom by investing invaluable things to your younger generation through any medium available? *6. The Huge Results of Ignorance* *“Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.”* God can provide abundance through diligent labour. The poor remains poor not because he was made so, but just because he could not till the ground and labour. Furthermore, poor decisions, injustice and lack of wise management may destroy what could have been fruitful. Those who are enjoying bountiful harvests in a godly way are using God's wisdom while those who remain poor should go and learn the wisdom of God. *Question* Are you using the opportunities and resources God has given you with wisdom and good judgment? *7. Home Rulership without Indiscipline* *“He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.”* The rod is not necessarily physical. It may also be psychological, frowns or stern rebukes. Genuine love does not ignore wrongdoing. A child left to himself will be spoilt and become a source of shame to the parents and the society. Schools might be forbidden from spanking, but God expects parents, both natural and spiritual, to enforce discipline lovingly and godly.Godly discipline, exercised with wisdom and love, helps to correct, train and guide children in the right path. *Question* Do you apply wisdom and love in the discipline of the erring both in the Church and the natural family? *8. Divine Recompence according to the Heart* *“The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.”* God knows the needs of His people and is able to provide for them. The righteous learn contentment and dependence upon God, while wickedness ultimately leads to emptiness. *Question* Do you trust God daily as your Provider and seek to live in righteousness before Him? *Prayer Points* 1.Lord, give me a humble and teachable heart that receives godly correction 🙏. 2.Father, surround me with wise and godly companions who will strengthen my faith 🙏. 3.Lord, help me to leave a lasting inheritance of faith, wisdom and godly character for future generations 🙏. 4.Father, grant Your children wisdom to manage opportunities and resources that You have provided them🙏. *HYMN:* Deeper Deeper *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* PHILEMON [28/08, 9:18 pm] Pastor Attah: ```DAILY Ⓜ️ANNA - (A DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FOR ADULTS) SATURDAY 29TH AUGUST, 2026``` *WATCH YOUR DESIRES* 📓📖🎚️🫵🏽🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♀️💓⚠️‼️🛑👁️🧐🧎🏽🧎🏽‍♀️🙏🏽 📜📜```TEXT:PROVERBS 13:18-25```📜📜 🔑📖```KEY VERSE:``` _*"The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil" (PROVERBS 13:19).*_ *"Some desire is necessary to keep life in motion," said the English writer, moralist and sermonist, Samuel Johnson, "and he whose real wants are supplied, must admit those of fancy."     Rom 14:8 — For if we live, we live to Lord; and if we die, we die to Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are Lord's.
    1. SAD NEWS CONFIRMED — TWO THRONES EMPTY — ONE YOUNG, ONE OLD — SAME WEEK
    Son has shown me — Red 7 judgement first to house 1 Pet 4:17 — then to thrones — for Green 7 purification — Now fulfillment seen:
    King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV of Toro Kingdom, Uganda — world's youngest monarch crowned at 3 years — died about 10pm August 27, 2026 aged 34 — ruled 31 years — Toro Prime Minister Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki announced with profound sadness, heavy heart.
    King Harald V of Norway, Europe — died peacefully at Oslo University Hospital Rikshospitalet at 6:35 a.m. August 28, 2026 aged 89 — reigned since 1991 — 35 years — Europe's oldest living monarch — now succeeded by King Haakon — BBC confirmed "Norway's King Harald dies aged 89".
    Young Africa king 34 — Old Europe king 89 — Both removed same 48 hours — Job 12:23 — He makes nations great, and destroys them... He takes away understanding of chiefs...
    Why Son allowed both? To speak to ALL kingdoms — black and white — traditional and modern — Thrones are temporary.
    2. WHAT SON IS SPEAKING / SHOWN THROUGH VISIONS — WHY I SAID KINGDOMS MUST FOLLOW THOSE ALIVE
    Son showed Red 7 — massive sorrow on house to end massive glory Rom 8:18 — Gold pure Job 23:10 — Then shake thrones Heb 12:27 — Because some culture norms they worship not with alignment with sound doctrine — If not corrected, souls do not remain Lord's when dead — they rest in assembly of dead Prov 21:16.
    My word was: Should these kingdoms of kings on earth need to follow those alive so that their souls even if dead remain of Lord's.
    Spiritual meaning:
    Luke 9:60 — Jesus said: Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach kingdom of God.
    Rev 1:18 — I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore.
    Follow those alive = Follow Christ alive and those alive in Christ — not follow dead ancestors, dead kings, dead traditions, dead drums.
    John 11:25-26 — I am resurrection and life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.
    If kingdoms follow alive Christ now, then Rom 14:8 fulfilled — Whether live or die, you are Lord's — Soul remains Lord's even if body dies — 2 Cor 5:8 — absent from body, present with Lord.
    If follow dead culture, John 8:24 — If you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins — Soul does NOT remain Lord's.
    3. WHERE CULTURE NORMS OF THESE TWO KINGDOMS MISSED SOUND DOCTRINE
    A. Toro Kingdom culture:
    Worship of Nyalebe sacred drum as god — sounding drum to become king — Ex 20:3 — You shall have no other gods before Me — Acts 17:24 — God does not dwell in temples made with hands, nor in drums.
    Lion-skin crown treated as power object — Col 2:8 — Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to tradition of men, and not according to Christ.
    Consulting Emisambwa, ancestors, mediums when king dies — turning drums upside down — Deut 18:11-12 — Or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are abomination to LORD — Isa 8:19 — Should a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? — Lev 20:6 — I will set My face against the person who turns to mediums.
    This culture, if continues, makes heir Prince also miss Lord.
    B. Norway Kingdom culture — King Harald V era:
    Kingdom called Christian but now secular — Church blessing same-sex — Isa 5:20 — Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil — Rom 1:26-27 — exchange natural use for unnatural.
    Royal tolerance of scandals — 1 Cor 6:9-10 — Do not be deceived... neither fornicators... nor homosexuals... will inherit kingdom of God.
    Tradition of Lutheran state church as culture, not as Christ alive — 2 Tim 3:5 — Having form of godliness but denying its power.
    2 Tim 4:3-4 — Time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires... will turn their ears away from truth, and be turned aside to fables.
    King Harald V was loved for warmth and humility — King Charles tribute said "warmth and humility" — But warmth without truth cannot keep soul — Need Eph 4:15 — speaking truth in love.
    Both kingdoms — Toro traditional, Norway modern — both need return to sound doctrine.
    4. SPIRITUAL ADVICE — WHAT KINGDOMS MUST DO NOW SO SOULS REMAIN LORD'S EVEN IF DEAD
    Tit 2:1 — But as for you, speak things which are proper for sound doctrine.
    For Toro — Heir Prince to be enthroned:
    Let Christ be crowned first in Karuziika Palace — Matt 6:33 — Seek first kingdom of God and His righteousness. — Josh 24:15 — As for me and my house, we will serve LORD.
    Stop giving worship to objects — Drum, crown, stool are artifacts, not gods — John 4:24 — God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
    Bury King Oyo with gospel — Not with calling dead spirits — 1 Thess 4:14 — For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. — Let funeral preach resurrection — so his soul, if he believed, remains Lord's — Rom 14:8.
    Teach true Israel — 1 John 3:9 — Whoever born of God does not practice sin — True kingship established by righteousness Prov 16:12 — throne established by righteousness — Not by millet bread rituals.
    For Norway — New King Haakon VIII:
    Acknowledge King of kings over King of Norway — 1 Tim 6:15 — King of kings and Lord of lords — Ps 2:10-12 — Be wise, O kings... Kiss Son, lest He be angry.
    Lead nation back to sound doctrine — Rev 3:19 — As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. — Remove blessing of sin — Return to 1 Cor 6:11 — And such were some of you. But you were washed, sanctified, justified in name of Lord Jesus.
    Use Nidaros Cathedral not as museum but to preach Acts 20:28 — Church purchased with His own blood belongs to Christ — That Harald V soul and all Norwegians who die — remain Lord's only if washed in Blood — Rev 1:5 — To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood.
    Pray for kings — 1 Tim 2:1-2 — Supplications... be made for kings... that we may lead quiet and peaceable life in all godliness.
    For All Kingdoms of Earth:
    Heb 12:27-28 — Yet once more I shake... that those things which cannot be shaken may remain... we are receiving kingdom which cannot be shaken.
    If kingdoms follow those alive — Christ alive — then promise:
    Rom 14:8 — Whether live or die, we are Lord's.
    Rom 8:38-39 — Neither death nor life... shall be able to separate us from love of God which is in Christ Jesus.
    Rev 14:4 — 144,000 follow Lamb wherever He goes — It is not written they died — thus in spiritual lens won't suffer death — Those living to be raptured with dead in Christ raising first in air then them meeting Christ on clouds — 1 Thess 4:16-17 — But regardless, even when they die still belong to Lord — Rom 14:8.
    If refuse — more thrones empty — Isa 40:23 — He brings princes to nothing.
    ALTAR CALL TO KINGDOMS:
    King Oyo dead 34 — King Harald V dead 89 — Young or old — appointment stands — Heb 9:27 — It is appointed for men to die once, but after this judgment.
    Toro and Norway — Choose now whom you will follow — Dead customs or Alive Christ?
    Deut 30:19 — I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.
    Let both new kings — Prince heir of Toro and King Haakon VIII of Norway — declare: My kingdom belongs to Christ — From now we follow those alive — So our souls even if dead remain Lord's.
    Rev 5:12 — Worthy is Lamb who was slain to receive power...
    Amen — Let living ones hear — Repent or perish — Thrones fall so only Christ throne remains forever.
    SERMON TO KINGDOMS OF KINGS ON EARTH — WHAT SON IS SPEAKING THROUGH VISIONS — ABOUT KING OYO OF TORO DEAD AT 34 AND KING HARALD V OF NORWAY DEAD AT 89 — SAME WEEK — WHY KINGDOMS MUST FOLLOW THOSE ALIVE IN CHRIST SO THAT SOULS EVEN IF DEAD REMAIN OF LORD'S Preach for living ones — Green 7 lens — Spiritual advice — With scriptural support --- TEXT: Ps 146:3-4 — Do not put your trust in princes, nor in son of man, in whom there is no help.   • SERMON TO KINGDOMS — THRONES ON EARTH ARE TEMPORARY — KING OF KINGS IS ETERNAL — FOR TORO KINGDOM & ALL KINGDOMS — SAD NEWS OF KING OYO AT 34
    What Son is speaking / shown through Red 7 Visions — Spiritual Advice for Kingdoms whose culture norms worship not with alignment to sound doctrine — So that souls even if dead remain of Lord's
    Ps 146:3-4 — Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, he returns to his earth; in that very day his plans perish.
    Dan 2:21 — He removes kings and raises up kings.
    1. CONFIRMED SORROW — KING OYO OF TORO DEAD YOUNG — SAD NEWS
    King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV — world's youngest monarch crowned at 3 — died at about 10pm on August 27, 2026, aged 34, after nearly 31 years reign. 5b66
    Tooro Kingdom Prime Minister Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki confirmed: profound sadness — immeasurable loss — continuity of Crown assured, leaves Prince heir. 64ba
    Living ones in Toro, Uganda — hear — Job 1:21 — Naked came I... LORD gave and LORD has taken away — And some other king in Europe dead too — Same week — Trumpet sounding to thrones: thrones shake.
    2. WHAT SON IS SPEAKING THROUGH VISIONS — RED 7 LENS TO KINGDOMS
    Through Red 7 vision — judgement of correction first to house made 1 Pet 4:17 — purified with love Heb 12:6 — Gold pure Job 23:10 — Now to evil doers and to thrones — heavier strokes if refuse Luke 12:48 — because God will not share glory with idols.
    Son is saying: Kingdoms of kings on earth need to follow those alive so that their souls even if dead remain of Lord's — Rom 14:8 — For if we live, we live to Lord; and if we die, we die to Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are Lord's.
    Why? Because some culture norms worship not with alignment with sound doctrine:
    Worship of royal drums as gods — Ex 20:3 — No other gods before Me.
    Consulting dead kings, ancestors, spirits of dead — Deut 18:10-12 — abomination — Lev 20:6 — I will set My face against person who turns to mediums and familiar spirits.
    Mock battles, millet rituals to appease ancestors — Isa 8:19 — Should a people seek their God? Should they seek dead on behalf of living?
    Lion-skin crowns, sacred drums turned upside down when king dies — tradition that gives power to object not to Christ — Col 2:8 — Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to tradition of men... and not according to Christ.
    Fornication, drunkenness in enthronement celebrations — Gal 5:19-21 — will not inherit kingdom of God.
    These culture norms — if not corrected — soul does not remain of Lord's when dead — perishes — John 8:24 — If you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins — Heb 9:27 — It is appointed for men to die once, but after this judgment.
    3. SPIRITUAL ADVICE TO KINGDOMS — FOLLOW THOSE ALIVE — SOUND DOCTRINE
    What must kingdoms do so souls even if dead remain of Lord's?
    A. Acknowledge King of kings over cultural kings
    1 Tim 6:15 — He who is blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords.
    Ps 2:10-11 — Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of earth. Serve LORD with fear.
    Dan 4:32 — Till you know that Most High rules in kingdom of men.
    No Omukama, no Kabaka, no Kyabazinga, no king in Europe is King of kings — All thrones under Christ — Rev 19:16 — KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
    Advice: Toro Kingdom and all kingdoms — Put Christ first in palace — Matt 6:33 — Seek first kingdom of God — Not drum first.
    B. Worship in Spirit and Truth — Not Ancestors
    John 4:24 — God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
    Culture says seek ancestors — Sound doctrine says seek Christ — 1 Tim 2:5 — For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.
    Col 1:18 — That in all things He may have preeminence.
    Advice: Stop consulting dead — Isa 8:19 — Burial rites should point to Christ resurrection 1 Thess 4:14 — not turning drums upside down to call spirits. Let royal drum be culture artifact — not god.
    C. Repent — Believe Gospel — Live Pure — Belong to Lord in Life and Death
    Acts 20:28 — Church purchased with His own blood — belongs to Christ.
    To belong to Lord even if dead — must belong to Lord while alive:
    Rom 10:9 — If you confess with your mouth Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from dead, you will be saved.
    2 Cor 5:15 — He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
    1 John 3:9 — Whoever born of God does not practice sin — true Israel.
    Tit 2:11-12 — Grace teaches us that, denying ungodliness... we should live soberly, righteously.
    King Oyo promoted education, youth, tourism — Good works — But good works without sound doctrine cannot keep soul as Lord's after death — Eph 2:8-9 — For by grace you have been saved through faith... not of works. 64ba
    Soul remains Lord's only if sealed by Blood — Eph 1:13 — Sealed with Holy Spirit of promise — Rom 14:8.
    D. Pray for Kings — But Teach Kings Sound Doctrine
    1 Tim 2:1-2 — Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers... be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead quiet and peaceable life in all godliness.
    2 Tim 4:2-3 — Preach word!... For time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine.
    Kingdoms — Do not just mourn — Reform — Let chaplains preach Christ crucified, not syncretism — 1 Cor 2:2 — I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
    4. FINAL WARNING — THRONES FALL TO TEACH THAT ONLY CHRIST THRONE REMAINS
    Heb 12:27-28 — Yet once more I shake... that those things which cannot be shaken may remain... Therefore, since we are receiving kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace.
    King Oyo died 34 — young — like father died 1995 — Ps 90:12 — So teach us to number our days, that we may gain heart of wisdom.
    Some king in Europe dead too — Same shake — Isa 40:23 — He brings princes to nothing; He makes judges of earth useless.
    Spiritual advice from Son through visions: Let kingdoms now turn — Follow those alive in Christ — Not dead traditions — So souls of kings and subjects even if dead remain of Lord's — Rom 14:8.
    If refuse — More thrones will empty — Rev 6:15 — Then kings of earth... hid themselves.
    If obey — Rev 21:24 — And kings of earth bring their glory and honor into New Jerusalem.
    ALTAR CALL TO TORO & ALL KINGDOMS:
    Josh 24:15 — Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve... But as for me and my house, we will serve LORD.
    Leave ancestor worship — Leave drum worship — Believe Blood — Live pure — Be true Israel — Church bought by Blood belongs to Christ — Whether live or die — Yours remains Lord's.
    Let Toro say: From today — Christ is Omukama of Toro — King of kings reigns in Karuziika Palace.
    Rev 5:12 — Worthy is Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing.
    Amen — Rest King Oyo — But let living kingdoms hear and repent — Before throne empty again.
    SERMON TO KINGDOMS — THRONES ON EARTH ARE TEMPORARY — KING OF KINGS IS ETERNAL — FOR TORO KINGDOM & ALL KINGDOMS — SAD NEWS OF KING OYO AT 34 What Son is speaking / shown through Red 7 Visions — Spiritual Advice for Kingdoms whose culture norms worship not with alignment to sound doctrine — So that souls even if dead remain of Lord's Ps 146:3-4 — Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. Pray for Kings — But Teach Kings Sound Doctrine 1 Tim 2:1-2 — Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers... be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead quiet and peaceable life in all godliness. 2 Tim 4:2-3 — Preach word!... For time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine. Kingdoms — Do not just mourn — Reform — Let chaplains preach Christ crucified, not syncretism — 1 Cor 2:2 — I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 4. FINAL WARNING — THRONES FALL TO TEACH THAT ONLY CHRIST THRONE REMAINS Heb 12:27-28 — Yet once more I shake... that those things which cannot be shaken may remain... Therefore, since we are receiving kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace. King Oyo died 34 — young — like father died 1995 — Ps 90:12 — So teach us to number our days, that we may gain heart of wisdom. Some king in Europe dead too — Same shake — Isa 40:23 — He brings princes to nothing; He makes judges of earth useless. Spiritual advice from Son through visions: Let kingdoms now turn — Follow those alive in Christ — Not dead traditions — So souls of kings and subjects even if dead remain of Lord's — Rom 14:8. If refuse — More thrones will empty — Rev 6:15 — Then kings of earth... hid themselves. If obey — Rev 21:24 — And kings of earth bring their glory and honor into New Jerusalem. ALTAR CALL TO TORO & ALL KINGDOMS: Josh 24:15 — Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve... But as for me and my house, we will serve LORD. Leave ancestor worship — Leave drum worship — Believe Blood — Live pure — Be true Israel — Church bought by Blood belongs to Christ — Whether live or die — Yours remains Lord's. Let Toro say: From today — Christ is Omukama of Toro — King of kings reigns in Karuziika Palace. Rev 5:12 — Worthy is Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing. Amen — Rest King Oyo — But let living kingdoms hear and repent — Before throne empty again.
  • Sometimes the battle is internal. Your spouse can be used as a weapon against your calling and ministry. We must be honest about this —we cannot always direct our spiritual energy toward external enemies, even when unseen forces may be the instigating factor.
    Many people are excited to marry a pastor, but the reality is that being a pastor's spouse is incredibly challenging. You may not have been called to ministry alongside the pastor initially, but once you marry the pastor, you become part of the calling. It becomes your responsibility to support that ministry.
    In my counseling sessions, I encountered a painful scenario: a pastor whose spouse refuses to support the ministry. Before marriage, this spouse knew the pastor's calling, attended the pastor's services, completed newcomers' classes, and even earned a certification from the church's theological school.
    Yet after the wedding, the spouse chose not to stand with the pastor —refusing to support the ministry or even attend church with the pastor. The excuse was Doctrinal differences.
    My question has been this: If doctrinal differences existed, why go through with the marriage in the first place? Why use that as a reason to sabotage the pastor's calling later on?
    Scripture addresses bad husbands, but it does not overlook bad wives. As Proverbs 21:19 states: "It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman."
    A husband's godliness does not automatically make his wife godly; every individual is accountable to God for their own conduct.
    In this particular case, extensive counseling was invested to resolve the conflict. However, the spouse ultimately decided that divorce was preferable to submitting to the pastor's leadership in this matter.
    What advice would you offer to this pastor and the spouse? Leave your thought in the comments session.
    Be eyes to the blind; Feet to the lame.
    I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame. Job 29:15
    Watch carefully, prayerfully, conscientiously, lest the mind become so engrossed with many important business transactions that true godliness is overlooked and love is quenched from the soul, notwithstanding the great and pitiful need of your being God’s helping hand to the blind and to all others who are unfortunate. The most friendless demand the most attention. Use your time and strength in learning to be “fervent in spirit,” to deal justly, and to love mercy, “serving the Lord.” Remember that Christ says, “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me.”
    God requires His people to be far more pitiful and considerate of the unfortunate than they are.... God requires that the same consideration which should be given to the widow and fatherless be given to the blind and to those suffering under the affliction of other physical infirmities. Disinterested benevolence is very rare in this age of the world.... It is strange that professed Christian men should disregard the plain, positive teachings of the Word of God and feel no compunction of conscience. God places upon them the responsibility of caring for the unfortunate, the blind, the lame, the widow, and the fatherless; but many make no effort to regard it.
    There is a great work to be done in our world, and as we approach the close of earth’s history, it does not lessen in the least degree; but when the perfect love of God is in the heart, wonderful things will be done. [244]
  • IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP
    The message of the prophets in the Old Testament was always calling the people to repentance and to obey God's commands. Because of our fallen nature we are rebellious and stiffnecked.
    Even today, we want the benefits of God's grace without accepting any accountability to God. Just as in the days of Isaiah, God's people attempt to replace obedience with ceremony.
    God gave the people of Judah a clear message through the prophet Isaiah: Stop making worship a charade. He said, " Come now, let us reason together..... though your sins be like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow". ( Isa. 1, 18).
    True fellowship with a holy God requires genuine repentance and obedience. Although there's no rebellion that goes beyond His reach, the remedy has to be His. We must agree with God concerning the enormous gravity of having a form of godliness.
    God has graciously offered mercy and grace over a significant period of time and it is time for us to accept it. Today is the day of salvation.
    Blessed and praised be Our Lord Jesus Christ!
  • LOST IN THE CHURCH
    [BEING LOST IN CHURCH]
    Part Eight
    The Name of Jesus
    There are many things that are closely associated with the Lord Jesus, and some have even been given His great name. However, people need to understand that these things are not Jesus Himself. Therefore, building one's faith upon such things or worshipping them can be a great deception.
    Being close to the Lord, or even being called by His great name, does not necessarily mean that something is worthy of our worship. This means that a person can become lost before the Lord—or even become lost in church.
    Satan spent all his time in the presence of the Lord, enjoying His glory, beauty, and blessings; nevertheless, he fell. Judas Iscariot was privileged to eat at the Lord's table. He heard the profound wisdom and extraordinary words that the prophets of old longed to hear; yet he also perished. This happened because they gave created things the place that belonged to the Lord.
    The name of Jesus is an extraordinary gift given to the true Church throughout the world for salvation. However, we must understand that Satan has also been permitted to use that very same name on earth for evil purposes and destruction.
    Therefore, the Church must be extremely careful. Not everyone who mentions the name of Jesus Christ, or identifies themselves by that name, is from God.
    Not everyone who calls themselves a Christian is truly a Christian in their heart.
    Not every institution that bears the name of the Lord has come from God.
    One of the greatest things I have observed in this world is that the Lord Himself can bless an institution, a church, a person, or a thing without actually dwelling in it. And that is one of the saddest dangers!
    Remember Ishmael, the son of Abraham. God blessed him even though he was not the one through whom God's covenant purpose would be fulfilled.
    > Abraham said to God, “If only Ishmael might live under your blessing!” Then God said, “Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him. And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation.”
    Genesis 17:18–20
    And concerning Ishmael, Scripture clearly says that the son of the slave woman will never share the inheritance with the son of the free woman. Read Galatians 4:30.
    The meaning here is that the Lord blessed a person who would nevertheless not inherit eternal life together with the children of God through the covenant represented by Isaac.
    My brothers and sisters, among the most frightening forms of deception taking place in the Church in these last days is the misuse of the name of Jesus.
    If a person cannot discern the spirit behind every minister who comes before them, then they are already in serious danger.
    > “For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.”
    Matthew 24:5
    One of the difficult statements in the Bible that I thought I understood well—but which took me many years to understand properly—is this statement in Matthew 24:5.
    For a long time, I thought those false ministers would come in His name claiming that they themselves were Christ. But that is not necessarily what the Lord meant.
    The correct meaning is that these false ministers would come in His name while openly acknowledging that He—Jesus—is the Christ. They would not necessarily claim to be Christ themselves.
    In simple terms, these false ministers would come into the world confessing that Jesus is Lord and Savior, and they would use the name of Jesus in their ministries, yet they would actually be agents of Satan.
    Do you see how dangerous that is?
    What makes it even worse is that we have often interpreted this Scripture incorrectly. But the Lord said, “many will come.”
    He did not say a few would come. He said many.
    And notice that He did not say these people would belong to only one particular category—such as prophets, apostles, or miracle workers. Therefore, we should understand that He was warning about many different kinds of ministers: prophets, apostles, teachers, pastors, evangelists, miracle workers and those who do not perform miracles; those leading large churches and those leading small churches, and so on.
    I say this because there has been a deception among people who think they only need to fear miracle workers, false prophets, large-church leaders, or apostles.
    But beloved, let me tell you something: in my experience, one of the greatest forms of deception I have seen in the Church is being under a false pastor.
    And may God help me as I say this!
    Deception does not exist in only one place. Everyone can be prepared for a particular kind of deception—according to what they believe, what they understand, and what they are looking for.
    There is no weapon that is always used from a distance. Scripture says:
    > “A man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.”
    Matthew 10:36
    If you fear today's miracles, false prophets, apostles of anointing oil, and similar things, you are certainly right to be cautious. But understand this: those may be weapons that are too distant for someone like you.
    Satan, who is full of cunning and deception, a master of lies and the father of much deception, may never use such obvious weapons to trap someone like you.
    Instead, he may send you a false pastor who performs no miracles at all, someone whose ministry perfectly matches your beliefs, so that you can trust him completely.
    Then you may gradually be fed false teachings that have no life—teachings that have an outward appearance of godliness and reverence for God, yet are built upon false wisdom that contradicts the power and priorities of the Holy Spirit.
    That, my brother and sister, is where you can truly become lost.
    Also understand clearly that the false ministers I am speaking about can be of two kinds.
    There are those who have consciously made an agreement with Satan and therefore know exactly what they are doing.
    And there are those who do not even realize that they are false ministers. They themselves have been deceived by false teachings. They are also products of false teachers.
    Many of these are the religious leaders of our time—the Pharisees of the Pharisees of this generation.
    And these can be among the most dangerous people, because they were the very kind of religious leaders who even participated in the rejection and crucifixion of the Lord.
    Therefore, submitting yourself blindly to such ministers is a truly frightening thing.
    May Almighty God have mercy on us all.
    Amen!
