Proverbs 10:9
He who walks with integrity walks securely,
But he who perverts his ways will become known. NKJV

Integrity is not a popular word in our culture anymore, but it is still a powerful one in the Kingdom of God. Solomon does not speak about talent, gifting, influence, or success here. He speaks about how a person walks. That tells us something important. God is not only watching where we arrive, He is watching how we live along the way.

To walk with integrity means to be whole. The same person in public and in private. The same convictions on Sunday that guide us on Monday. Integrity is not perfection, it is consistency of heart. It is choosing truth even when it costs us something. It is obeying God when no one is applauding.

The promise attached to integrity is security. That does not mean a life without storms. It means a life that is steady when storms come. A man or woman of integrity does not live in fear of exposure. They are not constantly explaining themselves, covering tracks, or adjusting stories. There is a quiet confidence that comes from knowing you are walking straight before God.

This kind of security produces peace. Peace of mind. Peace of conscience. Peace in prayer. When your heart is clean, you pray boldly. When your walk is upright, you sleep well. When your words and actions agree, your life has weight and credibility.

Then Solomon gives the warning. Those who pervert their ways will become known. To pervert means to twist what is straight. It is subtle compromise. Justifying what God has already spoken clearly about. Adjusting truth to fit convenience. It may look hidden for a season, but Scripture is clear. What is twisted will eventually be exposed.

This is not God being harsh. This is God being faithful. He exposes what destroys us so it does not destroy us forever. Hidden compromise always comes to light, either through correction or consequence.

The lesson is simple but sobering. Integrity protects you in ways money never can. Reputation can be managed, but character cannot. People may not see your integrity right away, but they will always see the fruit of it in time.

In a world full of noise, deception, and double standards, God is still calling His people to walk straight. Not loud. Not perfect. Just faithful. Just honest. Just whole.

Ask yourself today, not how far have I come, but how am I walking? Is my private life aligned with my confession? Am I obeying God where it matters most?

Choose integrity. Walk uprightly. Trust God with the outcome. Security does not come from hiding. It comes from walking in the light before the Lord.

DAY'S REFLECTION

God has called us not merely to believe in Him, but to live for His glory. Paul says, “whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” The key word “whatsoever” shows that every area of life matters to God—not only church activities or prayer, but also our work, family, relationships, speech, decisions, and daily conduct.

To glorify God means to honour, praise, and bring recognition to His goodness through the way we live. Before making a decision, we can ask: “Will this honour God?”

Jesus similarly commands, “Let your light so shine before men.” Light reveals what is hidden and provides direction in darkness. As Christians, our words, attitudes, integrity, kindness, forgiveness, and good works should make God's character visible to others.

Jesus does not say that we should shine so people will praise us. He says they should see our good works and “glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Our lives should point beyond ourselves to God.

Life experience teaches us that people often remember what they see more than what they hear. A person may preach a powerful message, but if their daily conduct contradicts their words, their testimony loses credibility. Conversely, simple acts of honesty, kindness, humility, patience, and faithfulness can become powerful witnesses.

Therefore, Christianity must be visible in our everyday behaviour. At work, be trustworthy. At home, be loving. In difficult situations, remain truthful. When offended, practise forgiveness. When blessed, remain humble. When given an opportunity to help, do good.

You may be the only example of Christ that someone encounters today. Let your life shine—not for personal applause, but for God's glory.

PURSUIT OF DESTINY

YHWH told Jonah to preach to Nineveh that they would be destroyed for their wickedness. Jonah runs away…far, far away…

After all the deviations, detours and failures he faces when trying to run away, he finally gets there and begins to preach of the city’s doom. The people believe and repent, the King believed and declared a fast, the whole city cried out to YHWH for mercy. YHWH relents and does not destroy them.

YHWH relentlessly pursues us when we run from him. The purpose for which he called us WILL come to pass. What is your Nineveh, what have you been running from?

REWARDS OF DESTINY

Jonah is angry! He’s been sitting around, waiting to see the fulfilment of the punishment he spoke over the city. In his eyes, he has lost his credibility now that what he spoke would not come to pass. He is too angry to even appreciate YHWH’s kindness and provision.

What is the value of our credibility (as we see it) against an entire city’s salvation? Angels in heaven rejoice over one sinner that’s saved. How much more important is our obedience over our ego, reputation or anything we hold dear?

Just as we have no right to judge, neither do we have any right to withhold or refuse to share YHWH’s love and grace with another, regardless of how it makes us appear. Nineveh awaits you!

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of YHWH, not of works lest anyone should boast.

For we are His workmanship, created in YHWH Messiah for good works, which YHWH prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

TOPIC: KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
Hebrews 12:2 (NKJV)
"Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith..."
Devotional message:

As agents of change and deliverers of our generation, opposition will not be the only challenge we encounter. Along the journey, we will also meet people who will discourage us, question our credibility, doubt our abilities, or convince us that the assignment before us is impossible.When this happens, we must learn to keep our eyes on Jesus.

Peter began to sink when he shifted his attention from Jesus to the strength of the wind and the waves. His perception of the situation became greater than their perception of God, and fear eventually overcame their faith.

Child of God, what you continually gaze upon will influence what you believe. If you constantly listen to the negative voices of people, opposition, past failures, and the magnitude of the assignment, you may eventually lose courage. But when your eyes remain fixed on Jesus, your faith is strengthened because you remember that the One who called you is greater than whatever stands before you.

The fact that someone else failed does not mean that you will fail. The fact that someone could not accomplish something does not mean that God cannot accomplish it through you. Their limitations are not God's limitations.

Paul confidently declared, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). Our confidence is therefore not in our ability but in the One who works through us.

Never allow the opinions of men to become louder than the Word of God in your heart. Never allow opposition to make you abandon an assignment God has entrusted to you. Keep looking unto Jesus, because He is both the Author and Finisher of your faith.

And remember this: you alone may fail, but you and Jesus cannot fail when you remain surrendered to His will and dependent upon His strength. What God begins, He is able to bring to completion (Philippians 1:6).

Therefore, arise and continue. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Keep His Word in your heart. Keep walking in obedience. The size of the opposition does not determine the outcome; the God who stands with you does.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father,Help me to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus regardless of opposition, discouragement, or the opinions of men.Let Your Word be louder in my heart than every negative voice. May I never abandon what You have begun in me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear … (1 Peter 3:15)

Always ready
When the faithful astrophysicist whom we read about yesterday lay in the hospital with severe heart problems, he had an opportunity to confess the Lord Jesus. Five pastors visited him. Four of them doubted the credibility of the Word of God. After investigation, he discovered that their disbelief was based on science.
 So, he asked, “Have you ever talked to a believing scientist about this?” – “No,” was the answer, “there is no such person!” – “But you are talking to a scientist who is a believer in Christ,” replied the astrophysicist.
 God has entrusted the testimony about the Saviour to human beings and not to the angels. As those who have experienced salvation ourselves, we should bear witness to the Saviour Jesus Christ. Sometimes He expects a confession from us when we least expect it. That’s why Peter urges us in today’s verse to always be ready to give an account of our relationship with Christ. Occasionally, in everyday life, an opportunity arises to testify in a friendly and respectful way about our faith in the Lord Jesus.
 Peter knew that because of this we may be despised or even laughed at. He encourages us to remain steadfast witnesses despite these sufferings:
 “If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you …” (1 Peter 4:14).

EXPERIENCE BEYOND THE SCARS
Text: Epistle to the Romans 8:28; Second Epistle to the Corinthians 4:8–10; Book of Genesis 50:20
Introduction
Scars tell stories. Every scar is evidence that there was once a wound. Some scars are physical, while others are emotional, spiritual, relational, or financial. Although scars remind us of painful experiences, they do not have to define our future.
God specializes in taking wounded people and giving them experiences that transcend their scars. He does not merely heal; He transforms pain into purpose, setbacks into testimonies, and brokenness into ministry.
Your scars may explain where you have been, but they do not determine where God is taking you.
1. Scars Are Evidence of Survival, Not Defeat
Every scar declares, "I survived."
Joseph was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and imprisoned. Those experiences left emotional scars, yet God elevated him to become the governor of Egypt.
Lesson: Your survival is proof that God has preserved you for a greater assignment.
Key Scripture: Genesis 50:20
"You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good..."
2. God Gives Experiences That Outshine the Pain
God does not erase every memory, but He gives new experiences that overshadow old wounds.
Examples:
• Joseph's palace outweighed his prison.
• Hannah's Samuel outweighed her years of barrenness.
• Job's restoration outweighed his suffering.
• Peter's Pentecost outweighed his denial.
When God moves, your testimony becomes greater than your tragedy.
3. Scars Become Credentials for Ministry
People trust those who have walked through what they are facing.
Paul's suffering gave credibility to his ministry.
Your greatest ministry may emerge from your deepest wound.
What once embarrassed you may become the platform through which God blesses others.
4. God Changes the Meaning of Your Scars
A scar no longer bleeds; it represents healing.
Jesus still bore the scars of His crucifixion after His resurrection. Those scars were no longer signs of defeat but proofs of victory and redemption.
Likewise, God can transform your scars into reminders of His grace and faithfulness.
5. Experience Beyond the Scars Requires Faith
Moving beyond scars means refusing to remain trapped in yesterday's pain.
Faith enables you to:
• Trust God despite disappointment.
• Love after betrayal.
• Hope after failure.
• Dream again after loss.
• Serve after rejection.
The Holy Spirit empowers believers to move from surviving to thriving.
Biblical Examples
• Joseph — Betrayal to leadership.
• David — Rejection to kingship.
• Ruth — Loss to legacy.
• Peter — Failure to fearless preaching.
• Paul — Persecution to powerful ministry.
• Jesus — Crucifixion to resurrection glory.
Keys to Experiencing Life Beyond the Scars
1. Forgive those who wounded you.
2. Release the past into God's hands.
3. Allow God to heal your heart.
4. Embrace the new season God is bringing.
5. Use your testimony to strengthen others.
Conclusion
God never intended your scars to become your identity. They are chapters in your story, not the title of your life.
The same God who brought Joseph from the pit to the palace, Peter from failure to Pentecost, and Jesus from the cross to the empty tomb is able to give you experiences that far exceed your scars.
Your next chapter can be greater than your last wound.

3. Every wound that has limited my progress, be healed in the name of Jesus.

DISCIPLINE, THE MULTIPLIER

Introduction
Many people desire success, greatness, influence, and spiritual power, but few appreciate the force that multiplies all of them: discipline. Talent may open a door, but discipline keeps it open. Opportunity may start a journey, but discipline determines how far you go.
Discipline is a multiplier because it takes what you already have and increases its effectiveness. A little knowledge with discipline becomes expertise. A small gift with discipline becomes excellence. A modest income with discipline becomes wealth. A basic prayer life with discipline becomes spiritual authority.
God often blesses people, but discipline helps them sustain and multiply the blessing.
1. Discipline Multiplies Potential
Every person carries potential, but potential alone changes nothing.
A seed has the potential to become a tree, but it must be planted, watered, and protected. In the same way, your gifts require discipline to grow.
• Talent without discipline becomes wasted ability.
• Intelligence without discipline becomes unrealized promise.
• Calling without discipline becomes frustration.
Lesson: Discipline converts potential into performance.
2. Discipline Multiplies Time
We all receive the same twenty-four hours each day. The difference is not the amount of time but the management of time.
Disciplined people:
• Plan their day.
• Prioritize important tasks.
• Avoid unnecessary distractions.
• Build consistent routines.
A disciplined hour is more productive than several unfocused hours.
Time is multiplied when it is organized.
3. Discipline Multiplies Spiritual Growth
Paul compared the Christian life to an athlete in training.
An athlete does not become strong by wishing; he becomes strong by repeated practice. Likewise, spiritual maturity grows through disciplined habits:
• Prayer
• Bible study
• Worship
• Fasting
• Obedience
• Fellowship
Occasional devotion produces occasional growth. Consistent devotion produces transformation.
Small spiritual disciplines practiced daily create great spiritual strength over time.
4. Discipline Multiplies Influence
People trust those who are consistent.
A disciplined leader arrives on time, keeps promises, follows through on responsibilities, and maintains integrity even when no one is watching.
Influence is not built primarily by charisma; it is built by reliability.
Consistency creates credibility, and credibility multiplies influence.
5. Discipline Multiplies Finances
Financial increase is not only about earning more; it is also about managing well.
Disciplined financial habits include:
• Budgeting
• Saving
• Avoiding impulsive spending
• Investing wisely
• Giving faithfully
Many people pray for increase while ignoring the discipline that preserves increase.
What discipline preserves, God can multiply.
6. Discipline Multiplies Character
Character is formed through repeated choices.
Every time you choose truth over lies, purity over compromise, patience over anger, and obedience over convenience, your character is strengthened.
Great character is not built in one dramatic moment but in thousands of disciplined decisions.
Your habits are shaping your destiny.

He remained disciplined in Potiphar's house, in prison, and eventually in the palace. His discipline multiplied his favour.
Daniel
He disciplined his appetite and his prayer life. God multiplied his wisdom and influence.

He disciplined his body and his ministry. God multiplied his impact across nations.
Jesus
He maintained disciplined prayer, obedience, and focus on the Father's will. His life changed the world.
Practical Ways to Build Discipline
• Start with small commitments.
• Create daily routines.
• Remove distractions.
• Track your progress.
• Be accountable to someone.
• Keep going even when motivation is low.
Remember: Motivation gets you started; discipline keeps you moving.
A Powerful Truth
Imagine two people with the same talent.
• One practices occasionally.
• The other practices every day.
After one year, the difference is noticeable. After five years, the difference is dramatic. After ten years, they appear to be in different categories.
The multiplier was not talent; it was discipline.
Conclusion
Discipline is not punishment; it is the pathway to multiplication. It multiplies your time, potential, finances, influence, character, and spiritual growth. God has placed gifts inside you, but discipline is the tool that develops them into greatness.
Do not despise small daily disciplines. The prayer you consistently pray, the Bible you consistently read, the money you consistently save, the work you consistently do, and the character you consistently maintain are all being multiplied over time.
What you do repeatedly, God can increase abundantly.

DAY'S REFLECTION

God desires His children to be people of noble character whose lives are marked by generosity, integrity, and good works. Isaiah declares that a noble person plans noble things and remains steadfast because of those honourable decisions. Our actions are often the result of the values we have cultivated in our hearts. When our motives are pure, our lives become a blessing to others.

Paul instructed Titus to set an example in every area of life. Sound teaching must be accompanied by a lifestyle of sincerity, dignity, and integrity. People are more likely to believe the message of the gospel when they see it reflected in the lives of those who proclaim it. Our daily conduct either strengthens or weakens our witness for Christ.

Imagine a respected community leader who is known for fairness, honesty, and generosity. When disagreements arise, people naturally seek that person's counsel because years of consistent character have earned their trust. Likewise, believers who consistently practise kindness, truthfulness, and humility become trusted witnesses whose lives point others to Christ.

Every day presents opportunities to choose what is noble rather than what is convenient. Whether at home, at work, in school, or in ministry, let your words, attitudes, and actions reflect the character of Jesus. A life of good works may not always receive immediate recognition, but it will always bring glory to God and leave an enduring influence on others.
