DAY 27 — Evening

Theme: BUILDING A SAFE HOME: Creating a Marriage Where Love, Respect and Peace Can Grow.

Reflection
Comparison can quietly rob us of gratitude.

Good evening,
Perhaps another couple appears to have a bigger house, a better car, more money or a more romantic marriage.
But you don't know their whole story.
Tonight, look at your own marriage with fresh eyes.
There are blessings in your home that someone else may be praying for.
Celebrate what God is building in your marriage.

God's Word
"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever." — Psalm 107:1

Heart Check
What is one thing about my marriage that I should stop taking for granted?

From The Counselor's Chair
Comparison often makes us blind to blessings because we are too busy measuring what we have against what someone else appears to have.

Marriage Nugget
"Don't compare your real marriage with someone else's edited picture."

Prayer
Father, forgive us for the times we have compared our marriage with others. Open our eyes to the blessings already present in our home. Teach us contentment, gratitude and joy in our own journey. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Remember
In marriage, it is not about winning the argument; it is about winning each other's hearts.
