Παρακαλούμε συνδέσου στην Κοινότητά μας για να δηλώσεις τι σου αρέσει, να σχολιάσεις και να μοιραστείς με τους φίλους σου! - In Matthew 11:28, Jesus says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." In other words: “You who are weary of religious rules, of overwhelming efforts, come to me; I will give you freedom, rest.” The "rest" Jesus promises is not physical idleness, but spiritual liberation from the anxiety of trying to earn salvation through self-directed effort. Placing trust in a direct, loving relationship with him replaces forced rule-following with willing, love-driven discipleship. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." - When we talk about doing God’s will, the first image that often comes to mind is that of creatures fashioned to please God. When we say this, we must be very careful. For claiming that we were created to please God can imply that we are mere objects, intended solely to satisfy His demands. This reinforces the image of a demanding God who demands sacrifices, offerings, and endless efforts. When we talk about doing God’s will, the first image that often comes to mind is that of creatures fashioned to please God. - In the digital age, a new kind of fasting has become essential: digital fasting. This is not a fad, but a call to rediscover silence, to relearn mindfulness, and to detoxify our souls from digital distraction. It is an exercise in voluntary self-restraint that aims to redirect our attention from the screen toward God and toward what truly matters. Through this act, we seek to break free from the bondage of immediacy and restore the primacy of contemplation and silence. In the digital age, a new kind of fasting has become essential: digital fasting.
