THE MONEY’S MIND The Body of the Word: The Container of Economic Contents By Omodolapo Ogunye What if the greatest economic storehouse is not a bank, a vault, a market, or a financial institution? What if it is the Body of the Word? We have been trained to look for economic resources in external systems: capital markets, institutions, commodities, technology and investment opportunities. But Scripture presents another possibility. The Body of the Word is a container. A container filled with contents. And among its contents are economic contents. Song of Solomon describes the Beloved: “His head is purest gold.” — Song of Solomon 5:11 Proverbs declares: “In her left hand are riches and honour.” — Proverbs 3:16 And again: “My fruit is better than fine gold.” — Proverbs 8:19 These descriptions are not merely poetic ornaments. They reveal something profound: There are economic contents stored in the Body of the Word. Gold. Riches. Honour. Fruit. Prosperity. These are not external additions to the Word. They are revelations of what is contained within the Person of the Word. This changes the way we think about economics. The question is no longer merely: “Where can I find money?” The deeper question becomes: “What economic contents are stored in the Body of the Word?” Colossians 2:9 says: “In Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form.” The Body is therefore a container of fullness. And if the Word is revealed in Scripture as economic and financial, then the Body of the Word contains economic identities, economic wisdom, economic abilities and economic performances. This is where The Money's Mind begins. The Money is not merely a currency. The Money is a Person. And the economic contents we seek are contained within the Body of that Person—the Word. The Scriptures are capable of producing performances because they testify about the Word. But perhaps the economic performances of Scripture are activated when we begin to discover and hunger for the economic contents stored within the Body of the Word. This is the proposition: The Body of the Word is the container of economic contents. And the future of economic revelation may depend on our willingness to look beyond the pages of Scripture—not away from them, but into the Person they reveal. Because perhaps wealth is not first something to pursue. Perhaps wealth is a content waiting to be discovered in the Body of the Word. The Money has a Mind. And the Mind of the Money is stored in the Body of the Word. Nigerian billionaire businessman and industrialist Dr. Cosmos Maduka has been spotted preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ in Lagos, in a moment that has drawn attention to the faith of one of Nigeria’s most prominent businessmen. Maduka, the founder and chairman of the Coscharis Group, is not just another wealthy businessman. He is one of Nigeria’s most successful entrepreneurs, having built a vast business empire spanning automobiles, manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, logistics and other sectors. His Coscharis Group represents some of the world’s biggest automobile brands in Nigeria, including BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce and Jaguar Land Rover. The conglomerate also operates a vehicle assembly plant in Nigeria. Forbes reported years ago that Maduka’s wealth was already estimated at more than $500 million. Maduka has also previously suggested that if Coscharis had been listed on the stock exchange, his personal wealth could have been significantly higher, reportedly putting his potential valuation at around $5 billion. What makes his latest appearance particularly striking is that, despite his immense business success, Maduka continues to publicly demonstrate his Christian faith and participate in evangelism. His journey is also remarkable. Despite having limited formal education, Maduka rose through determination and entrepreneurship to become the head of one of Nigeria’s largest privately owned business groups. He later served as a director of Access Bank for 12 years and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School. Beyond business, Maduka has also played a major role in Nigerian sports. He served as President of the Nigerian Table Tennis Federation for 16 years and was involved in taking Nigerian athletes to several Olympic tournaments. Now, videos of the billionaire businessman preaching the gospel in Lagos have offered another glimpse into a side of his life that goes beyond boardrooms, luxury cars and billion-naira business deals. For Maduka, evangelism appears to be more than a public image—it is something he is deeply passionate about. And perhaps that is what makes the sight so remarkable: a man who has achieved extraordinary financial success choosing to stand in public and preach about Christ. Forget the noise surrounding Nigeria’s celebrity billionaires and popular socialites. Dr. Cosmos Maduka belongs to a different category of wealth and influence—and yet, he can still be found taking the gospel to the streets. His story is a reminder that wealth and faith do not have to exist in separate worlds. Even at the highest levels of business success, some people still choose to make their faith a visible part of their lives.

Brenda Walsh Ministries Worshiping Idols. God does not want His children worshiping idols. In fact, He feels so strongly about it that it is one of the Ten Commandments that He wrote with His own finger on a tablet of stone. It is recorded in Exodus 20:3-6: “You shall have no other gods before me. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God.” And in Leviticus 26:1, it says, “You shall not make idols for yourselves or erect an image or pillar, and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am the Lord your God.” You see, God wants you to love and obey Him, and worship ‘only’ Him. He doesn’t want you to worship anything or anyone else. Jesus said in John 14:15, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” Some Christians worship idols without even realizing it, because anything that you love more than Jesus Christ . . . is an idol. It could be your fancy new car, a prestigious job, wealth, beauty, power, or countless other things, even people. If you love material things or your relationships more than you love God, then you are worshiping idols. Whatever is standing in the way of your friendship with Jesus, move it or get rid of it! Nothing is more important than your relationship with God! Show Him how much you love Him by praising and worshiping Him - and only Him! In John 4:23, we’re told, “But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.” Don’t waste your time worshiping material things or people . . . worship the King of the Universe . . . and only the King! 🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 243 DATE: 31ST AUGUST 2026 TOPIC: BLASPHEMING THE HOLY SPIRIT ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: Matthew 12:31 (NKJV) “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.” — Devotional message The words of Jesus in our anchor Scripture are among the most serious warnings He gave concerning the Holy Spirit.The religious leaders had witnessed Jesus casting out demons, yet instead of acknowledging the work of God, they deliberately attributed His work to Beelzebub, the ruler of demons. Their problem was not simply that they misunderstood what had happened. They were confronted with the manifest work of God's Spirit and deliberately called it the work of Satan.The context is important. Jesus was specifically addressing the deliberate and hardened attribution of the Spirit's work to Satan. Therefore, we should never approach this subject carelessly or create unnecessary fear in believers who are genuinely seeking God. At the same time, we must walk in reverence, discernment, and humility concerning the things of God.We should never casually call something the work of the devil when God is genuinely at work. Likewise, we should not call something God's work when we know that it was produced through ungodly means. Sometimes people attribute their success, promotion, business, wealth, relationships, or achievements to God while knowing that they obtained them through compromise, dishonesty, corruption, manipulation, or other ungodly means.You cannot deliberately compromise God's principles and then use God's name to justify the outcome. The fact that something succeeded does not automatically mean that God approved the method used to obtain it.God is concerned not only about the result but also about the righteousness of the process.If God gives you a promotion, give Him the glory.If God blesses your business, give Him the glory.If God entrusts you with children, honour Him with how you raise them.If God gives you influence, use it to advance His Kingdom.If God gives you resources, steward them faithfully. Child of God, let us cultivate a heart that gives God the glory for what genuinely comes from Him, while also maintaining discernment concerning what we see and experience.The proper response is not fear but reverence, repentance, humility, and submission to God.Let us give God what belongs to Him.Give glory to whom glory is due. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.’ Jesus didn’t try to compete with John the Baptist or model Himself after some Old Testament prophet. He knew what ‘success’ was for Him. To know what it is for you, you must: 1) Discern what success really is. When others feel good about you, you’re popular; but when you feel good about yourself, you’re successful. Your life’s highest calling will always create the highest level of joy within you. 2) Before you set goals, pray. ‘In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths’ (Proverbs 3:6 NKJV). It’s not wrong to set goals, it’s just wrong to set them without first consulting God. 3) Stop expecting others to bring you success. Don’t wait for flowers to arrive. God gave you seed; start growing some of your own. ‘Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else’ (Galatians 6:4 NLT). And besides, when you’re less needy you’ll become more attractive to others. 4) Get over yourself—everyone else has. [30/08, 9:40 pm] Pastor Attah: *MEDITATIONS ON DAILY ⓂANNA* MONDAY, 31ST AUGUST, 2026. *DANCING AT THE GATES OF HELL* *TEXT:* MICAH 2:7-13. 7 O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly? 8 Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war. 9 The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have ye taken away my glory for ever. 10 Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction. 11 If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people. 12 I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men. 13 The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them. *Timeless Truth:*_"Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came"_ (Amos 6:1). *INTRODUCTION* It is dangerous to live carelessly at the edge of spiritual destruction, presuming that God's patience means that His judgment will never come. The people of Israel had become comfortable with sin, oppression and false teachings, yet they still wanted to hear pleasant messages. They were, in effect, dancing at the gates of hell—enjoying temporary pleasures while moving dangerously close to divine judgment. The audience of Micah foreshadows this modern age or last days when the *"people will no longer be able to endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears"* (2 Timothy 4:3). If Israel was severely punished for preferring fables to the sound Word of truth, the people of this age will have a more *"sorer punishments"* in eternal hell fire. Micah's message calls us to examine our hearts, remember the consequences of persistent rebellion and hasten to leave every path that leads to destruction. *1. Heart-Probing Questions* a. There were some probing questions in the text. *"O house of Jacob, is the Spirit of the LORD straitened [limited]?"* The people complained that God's power or patience was too short or that His Spirit should only give good messages instead of warning them about judgment. In the last days too, the same attitude and preference will increasingly continue. *"They shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables"* (2 Timothy 4:4). The sound doctrine of the Word of God will be a heavy burden and unbearable to the religious lovers of pleasure. Many preachers will unfaithfully dilute their messages to suit their audience and make them happy though they will eventually, lead them to destruction and hell. They also asked, *"Are these his doings?"*. The people questioned if God was really behind the hard times or the warnings of punishment they were hearing. To them, God is too good to inflict such a heavy judgment. It was not God that was behind their hard times, but their evils. When you do evil, evil will follow and when you do good, good will follow. b. God answered their questions. *"Do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?"* God answers that His messages are always good and helpful for people who actually, live right and obey Him. Even when the Word of God is a warning judgment, it is equally to do good to those who are rebellious and disobedient for it will turn them from the path of destruction. All the messages of God are good and are intended to do good in the lives of the obedient. Hearing His Word is never a liability if there is love for the truth. We must stop blaming God, the Church, our circumstances or other people for the consequences of our disobedience. The probing question is directed at our hearts: Are we walking uprightly before God? A person who rejects God's correction, but expects His blessings is dangerously deceiving himself. *Question* When God's Word confronts your lifestyle, do you humbly submit to it or resist its correction? *2. History of Protracted Quarrel* a. The basis of God's quarrel with Israel had always been because of their sins and violence against moral laws. God always gives reasons to justify His judgments so that it is clear to all that people's disobedience is not a matter of ignorance, but a deliberate choice and exercise of their will. Some of their evils were listed. The rebellion of God's people was not a momentary mistake; it had become a prolonged quarrel against God's righteous ways. They rose against others as enemies, robbed the peaceful, oppressed women and drove children away from their inheritance. *"The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant places"*. Furthermore, the children were messed up, demoralized and denied basic moral training and discipline that would make them radiate the glory of God. *"From their children have ye taken away my glory for ever"*. Robbery and insecurity of lives and property became a booming trade in the land. *"Ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely"*. Worse still, they preferred false prophets who specialize in prophesying ephemeral blessings including wine and strong drink. b. Israel had a long history of persistent rebellion despite warnings from the prophets. Sin often begins as a private compromise, but can grow into a lifestyle that damages others. Persistent rebellion against God results in injustice, selfishness and spiritual blindness. Those dancing at the gates of hell may laugh at warnings and celebrate false assurances, but judgment does not disappear because people refuse to hear about it. *Question* Is there any sinful habit you have allowed to continue for so long that it is now affecting other people? *3. Hasten to Permanently Quit* God commanded His people to arise and depart because their sinful condition had made their present position spiritually unsafe. Lot was told by the angel to hasten *"while he lingers"* though the fire of hell was almost dropping like rain. He was warned *"escape for thy life"* (Genesis 19:16,17). If he had delayed further, the fire of God would have caught him with all his family members. When God pronounces His judgments on wickedness, the wisest thing to do is to speedily take steps and quit whatever is displeasing to God. *“This is not your rest.”* Though the judgment of God was catching up with them, they still believed their mind and the messages of compromising prophets who promised them *"peace, peace, when there is no peace"*. They were relaxed, unresponsive and continued their lives of pleasure as if the prophet was just wasting his time. Any promised rest or enjoyment in the midst of sin is fake and deceptive. *"Arise ye, and depart, for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction"*. God always remembers mercy in His wrath. He asked them to seek for exile in other countries because the judgment on the land as a result of their evil was irreversible. God's solution against His judgments is always departure from sin and objects of divine rebukes and displeasure. *"Depart ye, depart ye"*. b. As characterictic of God, the message ended with hope and restoration for the repentant remnants. God promised to gather His remnant and lead them like a shepherd. After they had suffered in the land of the captivity, "the Breaker" (The Messiah) went before them, opening the way for deliverance and led them back to their land. This will also be repeated in the last days when Messiah will come back to deliver Israel from the hand of their enemies, especially the Antichrist. God does not call us to abandon sin without providing the grace and power to escape it. Christ is our Deliverer, able to break the chains of bondage and lead us into true freedom. Do not dance near the gates of hell. Arise, repent and permanently quit every sinful path. In Micah 2:10, the prophet declares, "Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction." The people of Israel had settled into spiritual complacency, believing that their land and prosperity were secure. Yet, their corruption had made their very dwelling place dangerous. God's warning was clear: comfort without righteousness leads to ruin.* *The Israelites had defiled the land with injustice and idolatry. They exploited the poor, perverted justice, and silenced the voices of truth. Yet, they refused to believe that judgment was coming. Their sense of security was false. Micah's call was not just about physical exile but also about a spiritual awakening.* *This is a message for our generation. Many cling to lifestyles, habits, or environments that have become spiritually toxic. Some remain in relationships, careers, or ideologies that corrupt their faith. The call to "arise and depart" is not always about physical relocation but about spiritual repositioning. God often calls His people to leave behind what is no longer safe for their souls. When we refuse, destruction follows. Israel's refusal to heed this warning led a life devoid of His presence and peace.* *Are there habits, relationships, associations, or mind-sets that you need to leave behind? Spiritual stagnation is as dangerous as physical complacency. When a place, practice, or pursuit no longer aligns with God's will, staying becomes destructive. The believer's true rest is not in earthly security but in God Himself. When He calls us to move, it is always for our preservation. If they had simply acknowledged their sinfulness and begged for forgiveness, the human race will not be in the mess we are in today. Their disobedience corrupted and made us dirty before God. We all inherited the nature of sin and wickedness. This is the reason many children often pass off their wrongdoings to others. Some children, even when caught red-handed, will still blame someone else for their disobedience. *God wants us to be humble enough to accept responsibility for our wrongdoings. ⚠️⚠️⚠️**Woe to you, pastors leading the Lord's sheep into the pit**⚠️⚠️⚠️ In Luke 12, Jesus tells the parable of a rich man whose land produced abundantly. And what did he do? He only thought about accumulating: *"I will bestow all my fruits and my goods... soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry"* (Luke 12:18-19). But God interrupted that plan with a sentence that chills the blood: *"Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?"* (v. 20). A man full of material blessings, and completely empty of soul. Rich before men, and destitute before God. Jesus made the right path clear: *"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you"* (Matthew 6:33). Blessings come as a consequence of seeking God — never as the goal itself. When that order gets reversed, when ministry becomes a means to easy living, something has already gone deeply wrong. And today, pastor, this word is for you — the one who traded the calling for convenience. You who built your wealth on the tithe of people who barely had enough to eat. You who promised healing, promised deliverance, promised miracles — and charged for it. You who saw the sheep suffering and, instead of caring for it, saw an opportunity for profit. Be careful. Because the same God who told the rich fool "this night thy soul shall be required of thee" will say the same to you, and on that day your imported car, your big house, your well-known name — none of it will defend you. Remember: you can accumulate wealth, you can steal from the Lord's sheep, you can deceive for years without anyone confronting you here on earth. But no pastor escapes the final sentence. Every sheep lost because of you, every one who gave up on faith because you exploited her instead of shepherding her — her blood cries out, and God has already warned: *"his blood will I require at the watchman's hand"* (Ezekiel 33:6). You won't answer only for your own soul — you'll answer for every life that trusted you and was betrayed. And the consequence doesn't stop with you. It follows your generation. Your family carries the weight of what you did with what was sacred, because there is no true blessing built on theft, lies, and the exploitation of God's people. What is sown is reaped — and sometimes the one who reaps it is the one you love most. If you recognized yourself in this message, there's still time. Drop the scheme, drop the offering disguised as faith, drop the pulpit that became a business. Go back to being what God called you to be: a watchman, not a salesman. Many people are crying for mercy in hell fire, but it is too late. The mercy of God is no longer available to them. While they were still alive, they heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but they refused to repent of their sins. Instead, they mocked the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you end up in hell fire, your cries and shouts for mercy will be useless because there is no repentance in hell fire. No matter who you are in society, your good works, wealth, riches, education, beauty, position, or achievements cannot save you. Anyone who dies without true repentance from sin will spend eternity separated from God. Do not allow Satan to deceive you. Hell fire is very real. You are still alive today. Repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Saviour before it is too late. Revelation 14:11 (KJV) “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” Luke 12:5 (KJV) “But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.” Today is the day of salvation. Repent while you still have the opportunity. Turn to Jesus Christ before it is too late.

GOD WANTS TO Dwell Among His People 📖 Leviticus 26:12 "I will walk among you, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people." God makes this promise to Israel as part of His covenant. After speaking of obedience and its blessings, He reveals His people's greatest privilege: His presence among them. God's greatest blessing is not what He can give us, but the privilege of having Him with us. God doesn't just promise to bless His people from afar; He promises to walk among them. His presence changes everything. It gives direction when we are lost, strength when we are weak, and assurance when the future seems uncertain. Having God with you is worth more than possessing all the world can offer. Don't seek God's hand first; seek His presence. Before asking, “Lord, give me this,” learn to say, “Lord, stay with me and guide me.” Make His presence your daily treasure. May the Lord walk with me each day.
