Hello, I would like to share with you the message from 1 septembre 2026 from “The Good Seed” daily calendar. In the day of my trouble I sought the Lᴏʀᴅ. (Psalm 77:2) Abandoned by all? The incarcerated man stands before the prison chaplain. He holds a letter in his hand and says, “Reverend, I wanted to see you one last time today.” – “What’s wrong? Are you sick?” – “For eight years, I’ve only been able to see the sky through these bars. So far, I’ve endured it. There was someone who thought of me, wrote to me, and waited for me. – But here is the last letter. My wife has left me. Now my life has no meaning.”  The chaplain knew the man. He was not one of those who talked about suicide to gain an advantage. So he replied, “I’m so sorry to hear that everyone has given up on you. But remember: God hasn’t given up on you! He’s seeking you. He’s waiting for you. And I believe now is the time for you to turn to Him. I’ll pray for you. But I also have a request for you: read the Gospel of Luke which I’m giving you here.”  Two days later – on a Sunday morning – the man was in the prison chapel, where the pastor spoke about the saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The face of the prisoner shone. In the solitude of his cell, God had met him in his despair and had given him more than his longed-for freedom: eternal salvation.  The man had found peace with God and had become a beloved child of God. SERMON: HOW TO KNOW, RESIST AND DESTROY EVIL ALTARS Text: Judges 6:25-26 — "Tear down the altar of Baal that your father has, and build an altar to the LORD." Text 2: Acts 20:28 — "The church of God, which He obtained with His own blood." Key: Revelation 14:1-5 — As one of 144,000 sealed with Name of Jesus the Lamb on foreheads, blameless, firstfruits, alive with Lamb on Mt. Zion. INTRODUCTION: Church, an altar is a gate of transaction. Genesis 8:20 Noah built altar, God responded. Genesis 12:7 Abraham built altar where he settled, that land became protected. Evil altar is a demonic gate where Satan transacts against people, community, ministry. 1 Corinthians 10:20 — what they sacrifice they sacrifice to demons. God protects His people UNTIL they are sealed Rev 7:3. When sealed, they receive MORE divine shield — death is sent to unsealed, but sealed are safe from death Rev 9:4. We are that sealed people — looked after much more by God's love, devil cannot kill us, alive with Lamb on Mt. Zion, where we settle sea, trees, earth not allowed to be harmed until we are sealed. But many last age believers don't understand evil altars. but the 144000 will understand them, RESIST them, DESTROY them. PART 1: 6 EXAMPLES OF EVIL ALTARS — SO YOU CAN SEE THEM 1. FAMILY / ANCESTRAL ALTAR Example: Judges 6:25 — "The altar of Baal that your father has." Gideon's own father had idol altar controlling family. Example: Numbers 23:1-3 — Balak told Balaam "Build me seven altars" to curse Israel. Signs: Hearing voices when no one present — "You will not marry, you will die like your father." Dreaming dead relatives calling you Deuteronomy 18:11 God forbids consulting dead. Near-success syndrome, backwardness Judges 6:3-4 Midianites destroyed harvest each time Israel planted. Constant misfortune in family. Intention: To keep you in cycle of fathers Exodus 20:5 — steal destiny. 2. LAND / TERRITORIAL ALTAR Example: 1 Kings 18:19 — 450 prophets of Baal on high place controlling rain and territory. Daniel 10:13 — Prince of Persia — territorial spirit over land. Signs: Where you settle, business fails, ministry fights, same spot accidents, same sea storm like Bukasa. Mark 5:2 — man dwelling among tombs — territorial altar. Dreaming being pursued, dogs chasing. Intention: To claim ownership of where you settle Rev 7:3 says where sealed settle, earth, sea, trees cannot be harmed — but territorial altar tries to harm. 3. MARINE / WATER ALTAR — SNAKES, PRESSING Example: 1 Samuel 5:2 — Dagon, god from sea, fell before Ark. Genesis 3:1 — serpent was marine. Signs: Dreaming snakes, water, swimming, mermaid, sex in dream, being pressed / choked in sleep, hearing voices near water or in night. Acts 8:7 — unclean spirits crying loud. Intention: To steal purity. Revelation 14:4 says 144,000 are undefiled virgins — not defiled — marine altar attacks purity. 4. WITCHCRAFT / OCCULT ALTAR Example: Jeremiah 7:31 — Altar of Topheth where they passed children through fire. 2 Kings 23:10. Signs: Sickness defying medicine, objects moving, money disappearing, constant failure despite prayer. 1 Samuel 16:14 — Evil spirit tormented Saul. Intention: To kill John 10:10 — premature death, barrenness. 5. DREAM POLLUTION ALTAR Example: Job 33:14-15 — God speaks in dream — Satan also pollutes dream. Signs: Eating in dream, sex in dream, seeing dead folks, snakes, dirty water, dogs. Matthew 13:25 — enemy sowed while men slept. Intention: To destroy through night transactions while you are unaware. 6. MINISTRY OWNERSHIP ALTAR — "THIS CHURCH IS MINE" IMPLANT — ATTACKING MAJORITY PASTORS This is the altar that has bound many pastors in Kampala. Example: Diotrephes in 3 John 1:9 — "Who loves to have preeminence among them." Example: Ezekiel 28:2 — Prince of Tyre said "I am a god, I sit in seat of gods." But Bible says: Acts 20:28 — The church of God which He obtained with His own blood. Matthew 16:18 — I will build MY church — Not your church. MY church — Jesus speaking. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 — You are not your own, bought with price. Revelation 5:9 — By Your blood You ransomed people for God. How this altar works: A pastor enters church building at night and hears implant voice: "Leave, this church is mine, you will not build here." That is territorial altar that was there before church Acts 19:13-16 — demon said "Jesus I know, Paul I know, but who are you?" Or a family that gave land says "This church is on my land, so it is mine" — family altar speaking. Or pastor himself starts saying "MY church, MY members, MY ministry" — pride opens door to ownership altar, then God resists him James 4:6. Signs in ministry: Hearing voice in church: "This is my church" Fights over who owns church, constitution, money Church cannot grow beyond number — altar set limit Every new pastor chased away — founder spirit Members say "We are tired of this pastor, this is our fathers church" Intention: To steal what blood bought, to make Christ's church become man's property or demon's shrine. To destroy calling and make pastor blamable. PART 2: HOW WE RESIST THEM — AS 144,000 BLAMELESS FIRSTFRUITS 1. KNOW YOU ARE SEALED BLAMELESS — NO LEGAL GROUND Revelation 14:4-5 — Not defiled, no lie in mouth, blameless. Psalm 24:3-4 — Clean hands, pure heart ascends. 2 Corinthians 6:17 — Come out from among them. Stop fornication 1 Cor 6:15, stop consulting shrines Deut 18:10. Evil altar has no power on blameless life John 14:30 — Satan has nothing in Me — Jesus said. 2. KNOW YOU HAVE HIGHER ALTAR — BLOOD OF JESUS THE LAMB Hebrews 12:24 — Blood of Jesus speaks better than blood of Abel and better than blood on evil altar. Colossians 2:14-15 — He cancelled record, disarmed rulers. Altar vs Altar — higher swallows lower Exodus 7:12. 3. KNOW CHURCH BELONGS TO JESUS, NOT TO YOU, NOT TO ALTAR When implant says "This church is mine" — Answer: Matthew 16:18 — It is written — I will build MY church — You are liar! Acts 20:28 — This church is bought by blood of Jesus! I am only bondservant Revelation 7:3, not owner! PART 3: HOW WE DESTROY THEM — 4 WEAPONS OF SEALED 144,000 All done at MIDNIGHT 12AM - 3AM Acts 16:25, with anointing oil on foreheads Rev 7:3, for 3 & 7 nights with fasting Matthew 17:21, and Holy Communion 1 Corinthians 10:18. WEAPON 1: BLOOD OF JESUS THE LAMB OF GOD Revelation 12:11 — Overcame by blood of Lamb and word of testimony. Exodus 12:13 — When I see blood I will pass over. Anoint foreheads — seal Revelation 7:3. Anoint doors of church, pulpit, land. Declare: This is sealed property of Jesus! WEAPON 3: FASTING 3 & 7 NIGHTS Matthew 17:21 — This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting. Esther 4:16 — 3 nights to break death decree. 7 nights for total destruction. Fasting makes you more blameless — lifestyle of 144,000. WEAPON 4: HOLY COMMUNION — RAISING ALTAR OF GOD 1 Corinthians 10:18 — Those who eat sacrifices participate in altar. When you eat communion, you raise Altar of God inside you — your body is temple 1 Cor 6:19. Evil altar must bow. 1 Cor 10:21 — You cannot drink cup of Lord and cup of demons.

Monday, 31st August, 2026 TITLE: "FINISH STRONG: PRESS TOWARD THE PRIZE" ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S) 2 Timothy 4:7–8 (KJV) "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." Philippians 3:14 (KJV) "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." QUOTE TO REFLECT ON “Do not stop because the journey is difficult; keep pressing until you reach God's appointed finish line.” DAY'S REFLECTION Life is not only about how we start; it is also about how we finish. Paul, looking back over his life and ministry, confidently declared, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” The word “fight” reminds us that the Christian journey requires spiritual determination. There will be opposition, temptation, disappointment, discouragement, and seasons when continuing becomes difficult. But a believer must not surrender the faith because the road becomes challenging. “I have finished my course” speaks of completing the assignment God gave him. Every person has responsibilities, opportunities, and purposes that God expects them to fulfil. We should not spend our lives comparing our race with someone else's. Run your course faithfully. Paul also says, “I have kept the faith.” To keep means to preserve, guard, and remain faithful. Circumstances may change, people may disappoint us, and prayers may take longer than expected, but our confidence in God must remain. Philippians 3:14 adds, “I press toward the mark.” To press means to pursue with determination and earnest effort. Paul was not looking backward at past achievements; he was moving forward toward “the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Life experience teaches us that many people begin with enthusiasm but struggle to finish. A runner may start strongly but victory requires endurance until the end. Likewise, our Christian journey requires consistency—not merely occasional passion. As we come to the end of August, take a moment to reflect. There may have been victories, failures, delays, disappointments, and answered prayers. Whatever happened, do not stop moving forward. Learn from yesterday, remain faithful today, and press toward what God has ahead. Paul's greatest reward was not earthly recognition but “a crown of righteousness” from the Lord. This reminds us that faithful service to God is never wasted. Even when people do not notice our sacrifices, God sees them. Therefore, finish strong. Keep your faith. Keep your integrity. Keep serving. Keep praying. Keep pursuing Christ. The goal is not merely to begin well, but to finish faithfully. Do not compare your race with another person's journey. 4. Guard your faith even when circumstances become difficult. Past achievements should not prevent you from pursuing God's future purpose. 5. God rewards faithful endurance. Keep your eyes on Christ, who is the author and finisher of our faith. EVERYDAY ACTION Leave yesterday's failures behind. Identify one goal God has placed before you. Take one purposeful step toward it. Refuse to give up when difficulties arise. Keep your eyes on Christ. PRAYER Heavenly Father, give me grace to remain faithful, endure every challenge, and finish the course You have given me. Help me press forward without giving up until I receive the prize of Your calling. In Jesus' name, Amen. DECLARATION I will not give up. God Sees What Nobody Else Sees (Matthew 6:4) Have you ever done something good and nobody noticed? You helped someone, but nobody thanked you. You worked hard, but someone else received the recognition. You prayed for someone privately, but they never knew. You remained faithful when walking away would have been easier. You chose integrity when nobody would have known if you had compromised. Sometimes it can feel discouraging. We naturally want to be recognized. We want someone to say: “Well done.” “I appreciate you.” “I saw what you did.” But Jesus reminds us of something powerful: God sees. In Matthew 6, Jesus teaches about giving, praying, and serving without doing these things simply to receive recognition from people. He reminds us that our heavenly Father sees what is done in secret. That means your quiet faithfulness matters. The prayer nobody heard matters. The kindness nobody noticed matters. The sacrifice nobody applauded matters. The temptation you resisted when nobody was watching matters. The decision to tell the truth when lying would have benefited you matters. The time you spent encouraging someone matters. The work you do with excellence even when your supervisor isn't watching matters. God sees it all. We live in a culture that often measures success by visibility. How many people saw it? How many likes did it receive? How many followers did it attract? How many people applauded? But God's measurement system is different. He looks at the heart. You can have thousands of people watching you and still have the wrong motives. You can also serve quietly with nobody watching and deeply honour God. Jesus Himself often withdrew from crowds to pray. He wasn't constantly seeking attention. He knew His identity came from the Father. And that's something we need to learn too. You don't have to perform for people when you are secure in God's approval. This doesn't mean recognition is always bad. Encouragement is good. Appreciation is good. Celebrating someone's achievement is good. But don't allow applause to become the reason you do what is right. If people praise you, remain humble. If they don't, remain faithful. If people notice, thank God. If they overlook you, keep going. Your reward isn't ultimately determined by people's opinions. There may be moments when your work feels invisible. A parent caring for a family. A student studying late at night. A worker doing an honest job. A Christian quietly serving at church. Someone praying for their family every morning. Someone choosing purity in a culture that celebrates compromise. Someone forgiving instead of seeking revenge. Someone sharing Jesus with a friend who is struggling. The world may never know the full story. But God does. Don't underestimate the power of hidden faithfulness. A tree grows from roots that most people never see. In the same way, some of the most important things God is doing in your life may be happening beneath the surface. Your character is developing. Your faith is becoming stronger. Your patience is growing. Your relationship with God is deepening. Your obedience is being tested. And one day, the fruit may become visible. So don't quit simply because nobody is applauding. Don't compromise simply because nobody seems to care. Don't stop doing good because someone else received the credit. Don't abandon your calling because your work isn't immediately recognized. Be faithful. Do what is right. Serve with the right heart. Love people. Obey God. And leave recognition in His hands. Remember Joseph. He served faithfully even when he was in prison. There was no glamorous platform. No crowd cheering for him. No obvious evidence that his future would become great. But God was with him. Eventually, God opened the door at the right time. Your current position may not be your final destination. Your hidden season may be preparing you for something you cannot see yet. So keep planting. Keep serving. Keep praying. Keep learning. Keep doing good. And don't forget: God sees what people don't see. Your heavenly Father knows your heart. He knows your motives. He knows your sacrifices. He knows your struggles. He knows the battles you fight privately. And His approval is worth more than the applause of the world. You don't need everyone to notice your faithfulness. You only need to remain faithful to the One who sees everything. Today, do one good thing without expecting recognition. Help someone. Encourage someone. Pray for someone. Serve quietly. Give generously. And don't worry about whether anyone notices. God sees. 👼🔥 THE ANGELS AROUND HER 🛡️✨🙏 Benita and her mother, Mrs. Evelyn, were driving home at night when six armed men suddenly appeared on the road. 😨🔫 They wore black clothes and pointed their guns at the car. Benita immediately recognized their leader as one of the men who had once attacked her and later spent years in prison because of the false accusation against them. 😳 The men wanted revenge. They told Benita that they had come to kill her. Mrs. Evelyn cried and begged them to spare her daughter, but the men refused. 😭🙏 Benita was frightened, but she began to pray. She remembered the Scriptures and the words of blessing Benjamin had spoken over her. She declared that no weapon formed against her would prosper and reminded herself that God gives His angels charge over His children. 📖🔥 Suddenly, something supernatural happened. The armed men saw what appeared to be many armed men surrounding the car. Terrified, they began to run into the bush. 🏃‍♂️🌳 They did not know that the people they saw were angels sent to protect Benita. One of the attackers fell and injured his leg. He eventually returned to Benita and begged her to pray for him. Instead of seeking revenge, Benita led him to Christ. ❤️✝️ Meanwhile, the other men regrouped and became angry when the man refused to return to their gang. He escaped from them and warned Didi that they were coming after her. Didi immediately fled with him, but they soon encountered the remaining five gang members on the road. 😰🔫 The newly converted man refused to return to the gang. He explained that if they killed him, he would rather die once and live eternally with Christ than die physically and lose his soul forever. ✝️🔥 Just as the gang leader raised his gun to shoot, the episode ended. 😱 MORAL LESSON 📖 Never underestimate the power of a life surrendered to God. Benita's past had brought consequences, but her new life in Christ brought her into a place of divine protection. God did not only save her from physical danger; He also used her to lead one of her attackers to salvation. Your past does not have to determine your future. Because of previous posts, many of you know at least part of my story, which involves a 10-yr prison sentence in the state of Alabama. On the day of my arrest, I surrendered my life to Jesus in a way I had never done before. Through his word, I experienced radical, lasting life change. Now my message is a simple one: God is not mad at you, and the only way for you to live a fulfilled life is for you to first connect to God through Jesus, and then get on a path to discover and ultimately fulfill your God given purpose. And the best day to do that is today, because today is all you have.

TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS: SERMON TOPIC: THE REAL REASON BARABBAS WAS SET FREE AND NOT JESUS. Main Text: Matthew 27:15–26; Mark 15:6–15; Luke 23:13–25; John 18:38–40 There are moments in Scripture that make us stop and ask, “How could this happen?” Jesus was innocent. Barabbas was guilty. Jesus healed the sick. Barabbas was a criminal. Jesus preached love, forgiveness, and the Kingdom of God. Barabbas was associated with rebellion and violence. Yet the crowd shouted: “Release Barabbas!” And concerning Jesus: “Crucify Him!” It looks like injustice won. But here is the deeper truth: Barabbas was not simply released because Jesus lost the argument. Barabbas was released because Jesus was going to take his place. The story of Barabbas is actually a picture of the Gospel. Barabbas represents the guilty sinner. Jesus represents the innocent Savior. Barabbas walked away free because Jesus walked toward the cross. And that is the mystery of grace: The guilty goes free because the innocent One takes his place. 1. BARABBAS WAS GUILTY, BUT JESUS WAS INNOCENT Pilate examined Jesus and repeatedly found no sufficient reason to condemn Him. Luke 23:22 says: «“I have found no reason for death in Him.”» Jesus was innocent. But Barabbas had committed serious crimes. Mark 15:7 tells us that Barabbas had been involved in rebellion and murder. So, humanly speaking, the choice should have been obvious. But the crowd chose Barabbas. Why? Because the cross was not an accident. Jesus had already declared that He came to give His life for others. Mark 10:45 says: «“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”» Jesus knew why He came. He came to become the substitute. Spiritual Insight Sometimes we ask, “Why did Jesus have to die?” The answer is partly found in Barabbas. Someone had to bear the consequence of sin. And Jesus willingly took that place. 2. BARABBAS RECEIVED WHAT JESUS DESERVED This is the shocking part of the story. Barabbas deserved punishment. Jesus deserved no punishment. Yet Barabbas walked out of prison. Jesus walked toward Golgotha. Barabbas went free. Jesus was condemned. Barabbas was released. Jesus was crucified. This is substitution. The guilty person goes free because the innocent person takes his place. Isaiah 53:5 declares: «“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities.”» Notice the language: Our transgressions. Our iniquities. Our punishment. The cross was personal. Jesus was not dying because He had sinned. He was dying because we had sinned. Think About This Barabbas probably did not understand everything that was happening. He may have walked out of that prison wondering how he escaped death. But we know something he may not have understood: Another Man died in his place. And spiritually, that is our story. We were guilty. Christ took our place. 3. THE RELEASE OF BARABBAS REVEALS THE DEPTH OF GOD'S GRACE Grace is not God pretending that sin does not matter. Grace is God dealing with sin through the sacrifice of Christ. Romans 5:8 says: «“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”» That means Jesus did not wait for us to become perfect before He loved us. He loved us while we were still sinners. Barabbas did not earn his freedom. He did not negotiate his release. He did not pay the governor. He simply received an unexpected release. That is grace. Grace is receiving what you could never earn because someone else paid the price. You cannot boast about salvation. You cannot say, “I saved myself.” No. Jesus saved you. 4. THE CROWD CHOSE BARABBAS, BUT GOD WAS WORKING THROUGH THE CROSS The crowd thought they were making the final decision. But heaven had already established a redemptive purpose. Acts 2:23 says that Jesus was delivered according to the “determined purpose and foreknowledge of God.” This does not mean the people were innocent. Their choices were still sinful. But God was able to accomplish His redemptive plan through what sinful people intended for evil. This is one of the mysteries of God's sovereignty. People thought: “We are getting rid of Jesus.” God was accomplishing: “I am providing salvation for humanity.” The cross looked like defeat. But it became victory. The grave looked like the end. But resurrection was coming. Never Judge God's Work Too Early There may be seasons in your life when everything looks like it is going in the wrong direction. But remember Calvary. Friday looked like defeat. Sunday revealed the victory. Do not conclude the story while God is still writing it. 5. BARABBAS IS A PICTURE OF EVERY SINNER WHO RECEIVES SALVATION We often read the story and say: “Why did they release Barabbas?” But there is another question: “What if I were Barabbas?” What if you were the one sitting in that prison? What if you knew punishment was coming? What if you knew you were guilty? Then suddenly, the story becomes personal. Barabbas walked out because Jesus took his place. And every person who comes to Christ in genuine faith can say: “I deserved judgment, but Christ took my place.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 says: «“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”» That is the Gospel. Jesus took our place so that we could receive His righteousness. BIBLICAL CASE STUDY: THE CROSS Look at the sequence. Barabbas: Guilty. Jesus: Innocent. Barabbas: Imprisoned. Jesus: Free. Barabbas: Released. Jesus: Condemned. Barabbas: Walked away. Jesus: Walked toward the cross. Barabbas: Lived because another died. Believers: Receive eternal life because Christ died and rose again. The cross is therefore more than a religious symbol. It is the place where justice and mercy met. Justice says sin must be dealt with. Mercy says sinners can be saved. At the cross, Jesus bore the judgment so that mercy could reach us. PRACTICAL LESSONS FOR CHRISTIANS. 1. Never take salvation for granted. You were not saved because you were better than someone else. You were saved by grace. Therefore, remain humble. 2. Stop trying to earn God's love You cannot work your way into salvation. Serve God because you love Him, not because you are trying to purchase His acceptance. 3. Forgive others If Christ has forgiven you, you must learn to extend forgiveness to others. 4. Live like someone who has been set free Barabbas walked out of prison. The believer has also been delivered from the dominion of sin. Do not keep living like a prisoner when Christ has made you free. 5. Tell someone about Jesus Your testimony may be simple: “I was guilty, but Jesus took my place.” That is powerful enough. QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION 1. Have I truly understood what Jesus accomplished for me on the cross? 2. Am I trying to earn God's acceptance instead of receiving His grace? 3. Do I live like someone who has been set free? 4. Have I truly repented of my sins? 5. Who can I tell about the saving grace of Jesus Christ? 6. Do I extend to others the same mercy I have received from Christ? POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS 1. Prayer of Thanksgiving Father, thank You for sending Jesus Christ to take my place. Thank You for Your mercy and grace. I will never take my salvation for granted. In Jesus' name, Amen. 2. Prayer of Repentance Lord Jesus, forgive me for every sin, disobedience, pride, and rebellion in my life. Cleanse me and help me walk faithfully with You. Amen. 3. Prayer for Freedom Every chain of sin, addiction, fear, and spiritual bondage in my life, break in the name of Jesus. I declare that whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Amen. 4. Prayer for Grace Father, help me to understand the depth of Your grace and to live every day with gratitude for what Christ has done for me. Amen. 5. Prayer for Others Lord, use my life to bring other Barabbases to Jesus—people who feel condemned, rejected, broken, and far from You. Let my testimony point them to the cross. Amen. DEEP SPIRITUAL TRUTH Here is the heart of the message: Barabbas was released, not because he was innocent, but because another took his place. And that is the Gospel. We are not saved because we are perfect. We are saved because Jesus is perfect. We are not accepted because we deserve it. We are accepted because Christ paid the price. We are not standing before God because of our righteousness. We stand because of His righteousness. The cross says: “Your sin is serious, but God's grace is greater.” CALL TO ACTION Today, do not simply admire the story of Barabbas. See yourself in it. You were guilty. Christ took your place. You were condemned. Christ bore the condemnation. You were far from God. Christ opened the way back to the Father. The question is not merely: “Why was Barabbas released?” The deeper question is: “What will I do with the Jesus who took my place?” Will you continue living for yourself? Or will you surrender your life completely to Him? Will you keep returning to the prison of sin? Or will you walk in the freedom Christ purchased for you? Jesus took your place. Now give Him your life. «“Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” — John 8:36» You are not free because you were innocent. You are free because Jesus became your substitute. THE CROSS WAS HIS PLACE. THE FREEDOM WAS YOURS. THE SACRIFICE WAS HIS. THE GRACE IS YOURS. Come to Jesus. Remain in Jesus. Live for Jesus. And tell the world about Jesus. Amen.
