PROVERB OF THE DAY (Proverbs 1) 1. The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel: 2. To know wisdom and instruction, To perceive the words of understanding, 3. To receive the instruction of wisdom, Justice, judgment, and equity; 4. To give prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and discretion— 5. A wise man will hear and increase learning, And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel, 6. To understand a proverb and an enigma, The words of the wise and their riddles. 7. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction. 8. My son, hear the instruction of your father, And do not forsake the law of your mother; 9. For they will be a graceful ornament on your head, And chains about your neck. 10. My son, if sinners entice you, Do not consent. 11. Let us swallow them alive like Sheol, And whole, like those who go down to the Pit; 13. We shall find all kinds of precious possessions, We shall fill our houses with spoil; 14. Cast in your lot among us, Let us all have one purse”— 15. My son, do not walk in the way with them, Keep your foot from their path; 16. For their feet run to evil, And they make haste to shed blood. 17. Surely, in vain the net is spread In the sight of any bird; 18. But they lie in wait for their own blood, They lurk secretly for their own lives. 19. So are the ways of everyone who is greedy for gain; It takes away the life of its owners. 20. Wisdom calls aloud outside; She raises her voice in the open squares. 21. She cries out in the chief concourses, At the openings of the gates in the city She speaks her words: 22. “How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge. 23. Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you. 24. Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded, 25. Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke, 26. I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, 27. When your terror comes like a storm, And your destruction comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you. 28. “Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me. 29. Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the LORD, 30. They would have none of my counsel And despised my every rebuke. 31. Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, And be filled to the full with their own fancies. 32. For the turning away of the simple will slay them, And the complacency of fools will destroy them; 33. But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil.”

⚠️⚠️⚠️**Woe to you, pastors leading the Lord's sheep into the pit**⚠️⚠️⚠️ In Luke 12, Jesus tells the parable of a rich man whose land produced abundantly. And what did he do? He only thought about accumulating: *"I will bestow all my fruits and my goods... soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry"* (Luke 12:18-19). But God interrupted that plan with a sentence that chills the blood: *"Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?"* (v. 20). A man full of material blessings, and completely empty of soul. Rich before men, and destitute before God. Jesus made the right path clear: *"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you"* (Matthew 6:33). Blessings come as a consequence of seeking God — never as the goal itself. When that order gets reversed, when ministry becomes a means to easy living, something has already gone deeply wrong. And today, pastor, this word is for you — the one who traded the calling for convenience. You who built your wealth on the tithe of people who barely had enough to eat. You who promised healing, promised deliverance, promised miracles — and charged for it. You who saw the sheep suffering and, instead of caring for it, saw an opportunity for profit. Be careful. Because the same God who told the rich fool "this night thy soul shall be required of thee" will say the same to you, and on that day your imported car, your big house, your well-known name — none of it will defend you. Remember: you can accumulate wealth, you can steal from the Lord's sheep, you can deceive for years without anyone confronting you here on earth. But no pastor escapes the final sentence. Every sheep lost because of you, every one who gave up on faith because you exploited her instead of shepherding her — her blood cries out, and God has already warned: *"his blood will I require at the watchman's hand"* (Ezekiel 33:6). You won't answer only for your own soul — you'll answer for every life that trusted you and was betrayed. And the consequence doesn't stop with you. It follows your generation. Your family carries the weight of what you did with what was sacred, because there is no true blessing built on theft, lies, and the exploitation of God's people. What is sown is reaped — and sometimes the one who reaps it is the one you love most. If you recognized yourself in this message, there's still time. Drop the scheme, drop the offering disguised as faith, drop the pulpit that became a business. Go back to being what God called you to be: a watchman, not a salesman. It will be given to you instantly only if you come to Jesus now. Don't think this is too good to be true !!. Righteousness is a wonderful free gift which God gives to all who who believe in the saving grace of God through Jesus Christ. Eph.2:8-9; Rom. 3: 24;4:4 THIS WHY YOU NEED JESUS NOW IN YOUR LIFE !.

This Is Not a Season of Destruction… It Is a Season of Rebuilding! “Some situations don’t come to destroy us; they come to rebuild us.” They threw Joseph into the pit. They imprisoned him. They thought his story was over. But the pit did not destroy him it prepared him for the palace! “But God intended it for good.” — Genesis 50:20 In the same way, some things in our lives may be falling apart. Some doors may have closed. Some prayers may seem delayed. But God has not abandoned us! When He removes certain things from our lives, it is not to leave us empty, but to make room for something new! What we have lost is not our ending. The tears we are shedding are not our final chapter. The battles we are facing will not determine our future. God is able to bring forth a new testimony from our broken pieces! Those who went through the pit will be raised into the palace. Those who have wept will reap with joy. Those who have experienced delay will see fulfillment in God’s perfect timing. The very situation that came to break us will become a testimony of our elevation! This is not the end. This is the season in which God is rebuilding us. TRUST GOD—EVEN WHEN IT LOOKS BAD! Focus Scripture — Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV) “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Thought Of The Day... There are seasons when trusting God is easy because everything seems to be working out. The doors are opening. The prayers are being answered. The family is doing well. The bills are getting paid. Your plans are coming together. But can you still trust God when everything looks bad? Can you trust Him when the report isn't what you wanted? Can you trust Him when the money is running low? Can you trust Him when the relationship is struggling? Can you trust Him when the door closes? Can you trust Him when you prayed—and nothing seems to have changed? Can you trust Him when you cannot understand what God is doing? That's where real trust is developed. WHEN WHAT YOU SEE DOESN'T MATCH WHAT GOD SAID Proverbs tells us: “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” Our understanding is limited because we can only see what is happening right now. But God sees the beginning, the middle, and the end. We see the problem. God sees the purpose. We see the closed door. God sees the better door. We see the delay. God sees the appointed time. We see what we're losing. God sees what He's preparing. That's why God tells us not to lean entirely upon our own understanding. Sometimes what God is doing will not make sense while you're going through it. Joseph's pit didn't look like promotion. Israel standing at the Red Sea didn't look like deliverance. Daniel's lions' den didn't look like protection. The three Hebrew boys standing before the fiery furnace didn't look like victory. Jesus hanging on Calvary didn't look like resurrection. But what looked bad wasn't the end of the story! And whatever you're facing today, don't judge the ending by what you're seeing in the middle. 1. TRUST GOD WHEN YOU CAN'T TRACE GOD Sometimes God will allow you to walk through a season where you cannot figure Him out. You prayed. You believed. You obeyed. Yet things appear to have gotten worse instead of better. Job declared: “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.” — Job 13:15 (KJV) Job was essentially saying, I don't understand what God is allowing, but my confusion will not cancel my confidence in Him. That's mature faith. Faith doesn't require God to explain everything before we trust Him. Sometimes you have to say: “Lord, I don't understand it—but I trust You.” 2. DON'T LET WHAT YOU SEE MAKE YOU FORGET WHAT GOD SAID The enemy wants your circumstances to become louder than God's promises. But Scripture declares: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV) Sight says, “It's impossible.” Faith says, “With God all things are possible.” Sight says, “You're surrounded.” Faith says, “If God be for us, who can be against us?” Sight says, “There's no way out.” Faith says, “God will make a way.” Your circumstances may be real, but they don't have the final word—God does! 3. GOD IS WORKING EVEN WHEN YOU CAN'T SEE IT One of the hardest parts of trusting God is believing He's working when there is no visible evidence. But Romans 8:28 reminds us: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God…” Notice Scripture doesn't say everything is good. Some things hurt. Some things disappoint us. Some things break our hearts. Some things leave us with questions. But God has the power to take even the things that were not good and cause them to work together for good. Just because you can't see God moving doesn't mean God isn't moving. He can be arranging things you know nothing about. Opening doors you haven't reached yet. Touching hearts you haven't spoken to. Blocking things you thought you needed. Preparing answers to prayers you almost stopped praying. God can be working behind the scenes while you're wondering whether He's working at all. 4. DON'T PANIC IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STORY You may be looking at your situation and thinking, “How is this going to work out?” You don't have to know how. You just have to know Who. Psalm 46:1 declares: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” God didn't promise that trouble would never come. He promised that when trouble comes, you won't face it alone. So don't panic because the chapter you're currently reading looks bad. God is still writing your story. Your setback may become the setup. Your disappointment may become divine direction. Your closed door may become God's protection. Your wilderness may become your training ground. Your waiting season may become your preparation season. Don't put a period where God has only placed a comma. REMEMBER THIS TODAY When things look bad, God is still good. When you can't see the way, God still knows the way. When you don't understand the plan, God still has a plan. When you feel surrounded, God is still with you. When you don't know what tomorrow holds, God is already there. So instead of saying, “God, look how big my problem is!” Start declaring, “Problem, look how BIG my God is!” Your situation may look bad today. BUT GOD IS NOT FINISHED! DECLARATION... I WILL TRUST GOD EVEN WHEN I DON'T UNDERSTAND! I will not allow what I see to destroy what I believe. I will not allow fear to speak louder than God's promises. I will not panic because things look bad. My God is faithful. My God is working. My God is with me. My God has not forgotten me. And even when I cannot see His hand, I will trust His heart. I'M GOING TO TRUST GOD UNTIL THE STORY CHANGES! PRAYER... Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we thank You because You are trustworthy even when life is uncertain. Lord, some of us are facing situations that don't look good. Some are carrying family concerns, financial pressure, disappointment, unanswered questions, closed doors, and burdens nobody else knows about. But today we choose faith over fear and trust over worry. When we cannot understand Your plan, help us trust Your wisdom. When we cannot see Your hand, help us remember Your faithfulness. Remind us that You are working even when we cannot see it. Give us peace while we're waiting, strength while we're walking, and faith while we're believing. And when fear whispers, “It's over,” remind us that You have the final word! We declare that our circumstances will not determine our confidence in You. We trust You when it looks good. We trust You when it looks bad. We trust You when we understand. And we trust You when we don't. Because You have never stopped being God! In Jesus' mighty name, Amen! TURNING TRASH INTO TREASURE By Pastor Jonathan Ubah Text: Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” INTRODUCTION Beloved, there are seasons when life can make you feel like trash—rejected, forgotten, broken, disappointed, or useless. Sometimes people look at your past and conclude that nothing good can come from you. But I came to announce to somebody today: God is a specialist in turning trash into treasure! What people reject, God can select. What people discard, God can develop. What looks like a wasted season can become a powerful testimony. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 1:27, “God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise.” God does not always choose what looks valuable to men. He sees what others cannot see. 1. GOD CAN USE YOUR BROKENNESS Psalm 34:18: “The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart.” Sometimes we think our brokenness disqualifies us, but God can work through broken things. Joseph was betrayed by his brothers, thrown into a pit, and sold into slavery. His circumstances looked like trash, but God was preparing him for the palace. Genesis 50:20 says, “You meant evil against me; but God meant it for good.” Your pain is not necessarily your punishment. Sometimes God uses painful seasons to prepare us for greater purposes. Don't despise your broken pieces. Put them in the hands of God. 2. GOD CAN TURN YOUR FAILURE INTO A TESTIMONY Micah 7:8: “When I fall, I will arise.” Failure is not final unless you choose to remain down. Peter denied Jesus three times, yet Jesus restored him and later used him mightily in the early Church (John 21:15–17; Acts 2:14–41). You may have made mistakes. You may have taken the wrong turn. You may have experienced things you are not proud of. But hear this: Your failure is an event, not your identity. The enemy wants you to look at what you did and conclude that you are finished. But God looks at you and sees what you can become by His grace. Proverbs 24:16 says, “For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again.” Get up! Wash your tears. Learn from the experience. Return to God and keep moving. God can turn your mess into a message and your test into a testimony. 3. GOD CAN TURN REJECTION INTO DIVINE ELEVATION Psalm 118:22: “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.” Jesus Himself was rejected by men, yet He became the cornerstone of God's redemptive plan. David was overlooked by his own family when Samuel came looking for the future king. His brothers were presented, but David was left in the field. Yet God said in 1 Samuel 16:12: “Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!” Never allow people's rejection to make you reject yourself. Sometimes rejection is God's way of redirecting you. Some doors closed because God was preparing another door. Some people walked away because they were never assigned to your destiny. What they rejected may be exactly what God will use to announce you. CONCLUSION Beloved, the trash is not the final destination of what God has chosen. Joseph went from the pit to the palace. David went from the field to the throne. Peter went from denial to becoming a powerful witness for Christ. And if God could transform their stories, He can transform yours. Your past is not too dirty for His grace. Your failure is not too great for His mercy. Your rejection is not too strong for His purpose. Give God your broken pieces. The same God who turned water into wine can turn your sorrow into joy, your weakness into strength, your failure into wisdom, and your trash into treasure. PROPHETIC DECLARATION I declare over your life: Every rejected area of your life shall become a testimony. Every painful experience shall produce purpose. Every closed door shall lead you to God's appointed door. Your wasted seasons shall be redeemed, and God shall turn your trash into treasure! You will not die in the place of rejection. You will not remain in the place of brokenness. You will arise, shine, and fulfill God's purpose for your life. Your story is changing! Your testimony is coming! Your treasure is emerging! In Jesus' mighty name, Amen!

He who tills his land will have plenty of bread, But he who follows frivolity will have poverty enough! 20. A faithful man will abound with blessings, But he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished. 21. To show partiality is not good, Because for a piece of bread a man will transgress. 22. A man with an evil eye hastens after riches, And does not consider that poverty will come upon him. 23. He who rebukes a man will find more favor afterward Than he who flatters with the tongue. 24. Whoever robs his father or his mother, And says, “It is no transgression,” The same is companion to a destroyer. 25. (2)" ‘The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom...’ Proverbs 9:10 NKJV IN A world out of control, we like a god we can control: a comforting presence who blesses, provides, and advises. Kind of like ‘God in a box.’ But when it comes to Christ, no box works. His contemporaries designed an assortment of boxes for Him, but He didn’t fit in any of their boxes. They called Him a revolutionary, but He paid taxes. They labelled Him a country carpenter, but He confounded scholars. They came to see His miracles, but He refused to entertain them. He was a Jew who attracted Gentiles, a rabbi who gave up on synagogues, a holy man who hung around with prostitutes. In a male-dominated society, He recruited females. In an anti-Roman culture, He opted not to denounce Rome. He talked like a king yet lived like a pilgrim. People tried to put Him in a ‘box,’ but they couldn’t. And we can’t either; indeed we must not! ‘…Skilled living gets its start in the Fear-of-God, insight into life from knowing a Holy God…’ (Proverbs 9:7-12TM). Most of our fears are unhealthy. They rob us of peace and joy. But the fear of the Lord does the opposite. One author writes: ‘There is nothing neurotic about fearing God. The neurotic thing is not to be afraid, or to be afraid of the wrong thing. That is why God chooses to be known to us, so that we may stop being afraid of the wrong thing. Once a conviction is formed on religious traditions, it is very difficult for adherents to give them up for another revelation even when common sense says it is wrong. It has a blinding effect especially, when it is wrong. For example, in the Christian faith, you can see some traditions that worship idols, but never see anything wrong with it, but only explain away such idol worship as traditions handed over by the "elders". Some of the Jews had that problem in the Early Church. The legalistic traditions of the law of Moses was so much built into their conviction that giving it up totally for the gospel was a problem to them. All explanations by enlightened and anointed Christ appointed Apostles fell into deaf ears. At best they were willing to believe the gospel subject to the legalistic tradition. They saw their legalistic traditions as more superior to the gospel and they were willing to continue in it in addition to the gospel. The Galatians believers were almost relapsing into the law of Moses and Paul the apostle had to set out the danger of exalting or mixing any religious traditions with or above the pure gospel. *1. The Past Graceless Life* a. There is always a clear inward and outward distinction between life before Christ and life after Christ. A reminder of this transformative experience in Christ is always needful so as not to lose faith. Paul the apostle reminded them that when they knew not God, they *"did service unto them which by nature are no gods"*. If you cannot see this transformational and supernatural distinction in your life, it is likely you are just practicing religion and have not experienced the new life in Christ. Before knowing Christ, the Galatians were enslaved to false gods and powerless spiritual systems. Apostle Paul reminded them that ignorance of the true God results in bondage. A life without Christ is a graceless life because no amount of religion can save the soul apart from the redeeming grace of Jesus. We too must never forget the pit from which God's mercy brought us out from, lest we become proud or drift into lifeless religion. b. The transforming gospel of Jesus Christ delivers sinners not only from the bondage of sin, but also from the bondage of empty religious traditions. The Galatian believers had received salvation by grace through faith, yet they were being tempted to return to legalistic practices as though human observances could perfect what Christ had accomplished. Paul the apostle lovingly warned them that abandoning the simplicity of the gospel for religious rituals is a dangerous spiritual relapse. Every believer must continually stand in the liberty of Christ and resist every tradition that replaces grace with legalism. There are also religious and denominational traditions that make the gospel of Christ of no effect in the life of a person. Inasmuch as you glue to those traditions that contradict the gospel message, the new life in Christ will continue to elude you. When the pure gospel is made to cohabit with denominational or religious traditions that do not put Christ in its rightful place, the gospel will lose its transforming power. *Question* What are some of the religious or denominational traditions that make salvation experience impossible in the life of a religious person? Have you remembered that it was God's grace, not religious performance, that brought you into salvation? *2. The Pure Gospel Lost* a. Apostle Paul expresses deep concern that those who had known God were turning again to weak and beggarly religious observances. Why call those traditions as religious and beggarly elements? They are weak because those Mosaic rules and rituals have zero power to save, justify or change a human heart. They are beggarly because they are "poverty-stricken" or bankrupt and offer no spiritual riches compared to Christ. They are called elements because they are merely elementary things given in the law of Moses to reveal the necessity of Christ without really maturing in Christ. b. They began emphasizing special days, months, seasons and years as though these could secure righteousness before God. The danger was not in observing days itself, but in trusting such practices as a means of acceptance with God. Whenever Christ is replaced by rituals, the purity of the gospel is compromised and spiritual growth is hindered. *Question* Is your confidence resting in Christ alone or in religious activities that cannot transform the heart? *3. The Persuasion to Part with Legalism* a. With tenderness, Paul the apostle pleads, *“Be as I am,”* calling the Galatians back to the freedom of grace. Apostle Paul was entrenched in *"the traditions of the elders"* which he even claimed to be more fanatical than all his equals. When he received Christ, he received Him solely and totally without adding the rudiments of the law of Moses or legalistic traditions. He parted ways with those things totally. He admonished them to do the same because it is in doing that, that they can enjoy the life of Christ to the fullest. Rather than condemning them harshly, he appeals through love and reminds them of the sacrificial relationship they once shared during his ministry among them. *"I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain"*. When you got saved by faith in Christ alone and you begin to attach some things as additions that will make salvation complete, your faith has shifted from Christ and you lose your salvation and the presence of Christ within. True spiritual leadership persuades people away from legalism and continually points them back to Christ. She was the mother of three prominent children - Miriam, Aaron and Moses. She gave birth to Moses at a time when Pharaoh made a decree to kill every Hebrew male baby to stop their growth and expansion. In spite of the challenge, Jochebed was willing to risk everything for her child's safety. She hid him for the first three months and trusted God in the face of danger and uncertainty. She took another bold step of faith by placing him in a basket by the bank of River Nile. By divine arrangement, Moses was found and adopted by Pharaoh's daughter. He still ended up with his mother who taught him the values of faith, courage, selflessness, humility and resilience, thereby preparing him for his role as a future leader. *Jochebed knew her God, and because she did not give up too soon, God rewarded her courage with a son who did exploits for God. You too must be courageous to stand for the word of God, no matter the challenge.
