TITLE: PURITY IS OUR REQUIREMENT — OUR SANCTIFICATION WILL OF GOD — BECOMING 144000 — Rev 14:1-5 — BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH, NOT BY EFFORTS --- INTRODUCTION: Church — Purity is our requirement. Our sanctification is will of God. 1 Thess 4:3 — For this is will of God, your sanctification 1 Thess 4:7 — For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness Heb 12:14 — Pursue holiness, without which no one will see Lord 1 Pet 1:15-16 — Be holy, for I am holy Matt 5:8 — Blessed are pure in heart, for they shall see God Example God gives is 144000 — Rev 14:1-5 — People God needs us to become. MAIN TEXT: Rev 14:1, 3-5 Rev 14:1 — Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him 144,000 having His Father's Name written on their foreheads Rev 14:3 — Redeemed from earth Rev 14:4 — These are ones who were not defiled... for they are virgins. These are ones who follow Lamb wherever He goes. Redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to Lamb Rev 14:5 — And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before throne of God This is standard of final salvation — Pure & blameless. POINT 1: HOW DO YOU HAVE THIS? NOT BY YOUR EFFORTS BUT BY GOD'S REDEMPTIVE GRACE OF JESUS' BLOOD AND OUR FAITHFULNESS Eph 2:8-9 — For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is gift of God, not of works Titus 2:11-12 — Grace of God... teaches us to deny ungodliness Eph 1:7 — In Him we have redemption through His blood according to riches of His grace Rev 17:14 — Those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful Rev 2:10 — Be faithful until death and I will give you crown of life Rev 14:4 — These are ones who follow Lamb wherever He goes — Faithfulness Not effort = Rom 9:16 — Not of him who wills, nor runs, but of God who shows mercy — But grace + your faithfulness to follow. POINT 2: WE ARE IN FLESH THOUGH SAVED, LED BY SPIRIT — BATTLE BETWEEN FLESH & SPIRIT EVERYDAY Rom 8:9 — You are not in flesh but in Spirit, if indeed Spirit of God dwells in you Gal 5:16-17 — Walk in Spirit, and you shall not fulfill lust of flesh. For flesh lusts against Spirit, and Spirit against flesh; and these are contrary to one another Rom 7:21-23 — Battle in members Gal 5:24 — Those who are Christ's have crucified flesh with its passions You are saved, spirit-led, but battle is manifested everyday in our lives. That is formula for 144000 formation. POINT 5: IN THIS LAST AGE WITH THAT BATTLE — TRUE REPENTANCE & BLOOD WASH IS CRUCIAL True repentance = turning away from sin or evil you did & don't do it again. POINT 9: ENSURE YOU BELIEVE IN THY PRAYING — PRAYER IN FAITH = WORKS, NOT FAITH ALONE — BELIEVE YOU HAVE RECEIVED — SPEAK THAT YOU BELIEVE 2 Cor 4:13 — We having same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak Mark 11:23-24 — Whoever says... and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore... whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them James 2:17, 22, 26 — Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead... Faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect John 6:29 — This is work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent — John 6:28-29 — What shall we do, that we may work works of God? Believing = works of faith. When you pray minus faith, and don't see it, this might fail your prayer. James 1:6-7 — Let him ask in faith, with no doubting... let not that man suppose he will receive anything from Lord Heb 11:6 — Without faith it is impossible to please Him Matt 21:22 — Whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive So in this, your prayer is sealed with faith & works. What fruits are being displayed in our lives? If Jesus came to visit and asked our neighbour's, friends, parents, wife/husbands, colleagues and even strangers about our character, will we all be happy with the response? Fruits of the Spirit - Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control Fruits of the Flesh - Hatred, enmity, hostility, misery, jealousy, bitterness, strive, dissentions, discord, outbursts of anger, wrath, impatience, cruelty, malice, harshness, wickedness, corruption, selfishness, unfaithfullness, betrayal, untrustworthiness, arrogance, brutality and pride. In a ever changing world its becoming more and more difficult to distinguish ourselves from the rest of the world. Let us strive in all things to feed our spirit more than our flesh. Aug 24, 2026 11:00 pm Get Rid of the Garbage Rid yourselves of all malice. —1 Peter 2:1 “Rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander” (1 Pt 2:1). If you want a good starting place for removing the garbage from your life, take malice to the dumpster. Malice indicates a desire to hurt another person. Peter goes on to say that we should also dump deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander. Malice is the whole: deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander are its parts—each a child of malice. Deceit is an intentional attempt to hide or distort the truth. Hypocrisy is masquerading outwardly as something you aren’t inwardly; it is deceit’s twin. Peter continues, saying we should get rid of envy and slander, which are also twins. We tend to slander those we envy. Eliminating envy goes a long way toward zipping our lips from slander. Take bad attitudes to the dumpster. Ephesians 4:26-32 begins with an assumption that anger is inevitable: “In your anger do not sin” (v. 26). But Paul quickly guards against any sinful expression of anger: “Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice” (v. 31). The emphasis in this passage, as in other epistles, isn’t only on behaviors that give the “devil a foothold” (v. 27) and “grieve the Holy Spirit” (v. 30). It’s also on what we replace our actions with as we “put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness” (v. 24). Our individual submission to God’s supernatural righteousness makes it possible to follow His example: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you” (v. 32). In all our relationships, God can help us reflect the forgiving heart of Jesus.

About Sensitivity in the Spirit. So, I experienced something that I almost gave into yesterday. A Potential friend of mine got into a banter. I didn't understand why we had a quarrel but that's not the main point. I found myself almost keeping a malice and holding a grudge but then again, I had to remind myself to pray in the spirit , about my heart because I don't think the Holy Spirit intends to live in a tense area. "Guard my Heart,Oh Lord" , became my prayers. And God really helped. We reconciled and today we're good and there's no heaviness there. The point is, Tell God every single thing. The spirit of assumption: Lessons from the Life of King David 👑 We partner with this principality every day. We assume we know someone’s heart, we assume we know how a situation will end, or we assume our secrets are safe. But history shows that partnering with this principality is the quickest way to ruin relationships, leadership, and lives. Look at the web of toxic assumptions that surrounded King David in the Bible: ❌ What others assumed ABOUT David Samuel assumed Jesse’s oldest son Eliab was God's chosen king based entirely on his tall, noble appearance. Jesse assumed David was too young, insignificant, and unqualified to even be called from the fields to meet the prophet. Eliab (his brother) assumed David was an arrogant, vain thrill-seeker who only came to the battlefield out of malice, mockingly asking who was watching his "few sheep." King Saul assumed David was just an inexperienced kid who could not possibly survive a physical fight with a veteran giant like Goliath. Goliath assumed he could easily crush David, mocking his youth and his simple shepherd's staff. King Hanun of Ammon assumed David's comforting messengers were actually hostile spies sent to map out and overthrow his city. King Achish of Gath assumed David had become fiercely loyal to him and hated Israel, completely unaware David was secretly raiding Philistine allies. The General Public assumed he was a lawless, desperate rebel when he fled Saul; assumed he ordered a political hit when Abner died; and assumed God had permanently cursed and abandoned him during Absalom's rebellion. Assumptions made by David's men The Quick Vengeance Assumption: In the cave of En Gedi, when King Saul entered alone, David's men instantly assumed God had delivered Saul to be killed (1 Samuel 24:4). They assumed David's path to the throne required assassination, and they were shocked when David chose mercy instead. The "All is Lost" Assumption at Ziklag: When the Amelakites burned their town and captured their families, the men assumed David was completely to blame for the tragedy (1 Samuel 30:6). In their grief, they assumed stoning David was the only logical response, momentarily forgetting his years of faithful leadership. The Spoils of War Assumption: After rescuing their families, the greedy men in David's army assumed that the 200 exhausted soldiers who stayed behind to guard the baggage didn't deserve a share of the recovered goods (1 Samuel 30:22). They assumed rewards belonged only to those who physically fought. Assumptions made by Michal (His First Wife) The "Vulgar Fellow" Assumption: When David danced dynamically before the Ark of the Covenant, Michal watched from a palace window [2 Samuel 6:16]. She assumed his ecstatic praise was not genuine worship, but rather cheap, vulgar exhibitionism meant to show off in front of young servant girls [2 Samuel 6:20]. The Status Assumption: Coming from royal blood as King Saul's daughter, she assumed a king should always maintain rigid, aloof, and majestic dignity. She assumed David was degrading the royal office by stripping down to a simple linen garment. Abigail (His Second Wife) The Imminent Bloodshed Assumption: When her first husband, Nabal, insulted David, Abigail immediately assumed David was on his way to slaughter every male in her household [1 Samuel 25:22]. She didn't wait around; she assumed David’s wrath was volatile and fast-moving, prompting her to intercept him with gifts to prevent a massacre. The Inevitable Royalty Assumption: While David was still a hunted fugitive living in caves, Abigail assumed his ultimate rise to the throne was an absolute certainty [1 Samuel 25:28-30]. She explicitly told him she knew God would build him a lasting dynasty, assuming his current hardship was just temporary. Bathsheba (His Most Famous Wife) The Absolute Monarchy Assumption: When David summoned her to the palace after watching her bathe, Bathsheba likely operated under the assumption that a king's command could not be refused or questioned [2 Samuel 11:4]. In the ancient Near East, challenging a king’s sexual summons often meant death or ruin for a woman and her family. The Protection Assumption: After her husband Uriah was killed, Bathsheba assumed marrying David would bring her security, legitimacy, and protection for her pregnancy. She later assumed she had to aggressively secure the throne for her son Solomon when David grew old and passive, knowing her life depended on it [1 Kings 1:15-21]. ⚠️ The dangerous assumptions David made HIMSELF: The Cover-Up Assumption: David assumed he could permanently hide his adultery with Bathsheba by engineering Uriah’s death, learning the hard way that death doesn't silence secrets. The Prideful Census Assumption: David presumed that taking a national military census—fueled by self-reliance—was a harmless administrative task, ignoring warnings and violating divine law. The Passive Parenting Assumption: He assumed family trauma and friction among his children (Amnon and Absalom) would just blow over, letting resentment brew until it exploded into a violent coup. The Political Trophy Assumption: David assumed pulling Michal away from her new husband to reclaim her as a wife would easily solidify his political claim, miscalculating her deep trauma and resentment. The Despair Assumption: For the first time, David assumed God’s protection had an expiration date, telling himself "Saul will destroy me," which drove him straight into enemy territory as a double agent. The Survival Assumption: In a moment of deep despair, David assumed God’s protection had an expiration date and told himself, "Saul will destroy me." This single assumption drove him straight into enemy territory. The Takeaway: We See how this principality wreaked havok in David's life. People will misjudge you based on your appearance, your past, or their own insecurities. But the real danger lies in the assumptions you make when you are desperate, prideful, or trying to hide a mistake. While we all been afflicted by this spirit at some point in our lives, if your life looks anything like David's, I urge you to seek deliverance. Stop guessing. Stop assuming. Check your heart, look at the facts, and trust the truth over your feelings, and God's Word over this spirit's deception.

'But his sons did not walk in his ways...’ 1 Samuel 8:3 NIV AT TIMES every parent despairs over their child’s decisions and actions. ‘I did my best to bring them up correctly; did I fail as a parent?’ Failure is a fact of life—and of parenting—and nobody does it perfectly! Parents assume a heavier load of guilt than they deserve. Consider some Bible examples of real-world parenting: Isaac had, at best, a 50 percent success rate with his sons, Jacob and Esau. Aaron struck out completely with Nadab and Abihu. Manoah’s boy Samson didn’t win the ‘son-of-the-year award’! And Samuel, a recognised moral and spiritual giant, watched his sons reject his example and teaching and pursue lives of bribery and shame. Since Adam, children ‘doing their own thing’ have broken their parents’ hearts! So what is a parent to do? 1) Realise you’re not responsible for their decisions. They make their own choices. Condemning yourself just discourages you, and it undermines your ability to be the parent they need. The Bible says, ‘…Salvation is of the Lord’ (Jonah 2:9 NJKV). He saves and delivers—not you. 2) Pray for them and give them to God. Anxiety and frustration will only make you the kind of parent they don’t enjoy being around, and who can’t enjoy them. You’re not built to carry such a load; your heavenly Father is, and He wants to carry it for you! (1 Peter 5:7). 3) Remember that God loves them more than you do! He gave His only child to save yours. He knows their heart, and how to reach it and turn it toward Him. So give your child to Him! He stood as the Lord over all. The tone of authority and sternness rested fully in Him. He has pity on the convicted who sincerely seeks redemption and with the same breath turns to unclean, defiling spirits with a poignantly severe countenance. Even the acknowledgement of His divinity as "The Holy One of God", or "Jesus of Nazareth", or "Christ the Son of God" were not dignified with any form of approval. He will not have His name soiled by such lips.* *Significantly, for you as a Christian pilgrim today, Christ's ministry in Capernaum is a model on which authentic ministries and ministrations must be built. First, since Jesus placed an uncommon emphasis on the preaching of the word, so must you do today and so walk in His steps. It is the word that converts sinners, edifies saints and wings the power that heals, delivers and liberates from satanic yokes. Secondly, since Jesus unswervingly devoted Himself to His mission to preach the Kingdom of God (Luke 4:43, 44), so must every Christian who is a beneficiary of the atonement at Calvary. Thirdly, just as Jesus resisted every distraction from His central calling, so must you also remain undistracted by the miracles, signs and wonders of the day. The Great Commission coupled with holiness of life must tower over and above every other concern, legitimate or otherwise. Finally, the agency of miracles then and now remains the same. It is always the spoken word, NOT water, oil, candle or garments, gymnastics or any hocus-pocus. Quietness is a good habit we must learn or study if we are to grow up and be responsible adults. It is not others that cause you to disturb; or not to keep quiet and pay attention. It is because you choose to show undue interest in what others do or say. It takes a great deal of self-control to be quiet and remain so. Some children keep quiet and concentrate on their work only for a moment. Of course, you must be quiet before you can work well with your own hands. When that witness instead supports the accuser, the testimony is viewed as inherently honest because it goes against the witness's apparent allegiance. It completely destroys the specific line of defense the witness was brought to prove, leaving the accused’s story isolated or contradicted. The prosecution can heavily rely on this testimony during closing arguments to show that even the defendant’s own chosen witness knows the truth of the charges. The ministry of Jesus Christ was marked by undeniable demonstrations of His supreme power and divine authority. The fact that even demons, diseases and every force of darkness are all confessing to the power and authority of Jesus are strong and undeniable proofs that Jesus is truly Lord over all. *1. Honest Confession of the Demons* a. Right there *"in the synagogue there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean devil"*. This man was in the synagogue. As long as there was no fire of the Holy Spirit in the Synagogue, the man was comfortably "worshipping". In some denominations of today, there are such people who are talented and appear zealous for God, but have evil spirits inside them because the church is void of the fire of the Holy Spirit. Such people, in cooperation with demons, do a lot of undetected havoc in the House of God. As Jesus taught in the Synagogue, the demon inside him started making cowardly and honest confessions. He, like the damsel possessed by the spirit of divination in Acts 16:16-18, started manifesting. He confessed, *"I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God."* He *"cried with a loud voice"* like a person manifesting the gift of prophecy. His confession was a combination of truth and falsehood as expected of corrupting demons. Jesus is truly the Holy One of God. However, the accusation that Jesus came to destroy them before their time was meant to put Jesus in a wrong perspective. The fact that Jesus did not destroy, but only cast them out, showed that the demon was actually ignorant or was deliberately lying. Satan is an incurable pathological liar who will always mix lies with truth so as to deceive the gullible. *"But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."* b. It should not be surprising then that Jesus rebuked him and said *"hold thy peace"* though it appeared the demon was saying something positive about Christ. They will always try to win one's confidence with known truth before sneaking in poisons of errors. It is therefore, dangerous to base our doctrines and beliefs on the confession of those possessed with demons. The Word of God is the ultimate truth given to man on earth. It is the Word of God and His work that have been divinely decreed to glorify God and not unclean demons. Are these not the same demons who confess to the Lordship of Christ, but later go and deceive many that Jesus is not Lord? Are these not the demons that deceived a whole Jewish nation that Jesus is not the Messiah they were looking for? Our faith should rest only on the sufficient Word of God. Sadly, while demons acknowledged Christ's authority, many human beings still reject Him. *Question* Do you have the practical and experiential knowledge of Christ as the Lord of all, including you? *2.The Humiliating Christ's Dominion* a. The text is showing the total and absolute dominion of Christ over demons. It was a humiliating demonstration that if those demons have their way they would have loved to avoid such a scenario. Jesus commanded him to shut up and *"come out of him"*. Don't deal gently with demons; speak to them with the authority of Jesus. The demon had to surrender and come out shamefully. Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit with absolute authority. The demon obeyed immediately without resistance, proving that Satan's kingdom is completely subject to Christ's dominion. The people were astonished because His words carried divine authority unlike anything they had witnessed before. b. Christ's dominion is supreme over every demonic force, every stronghold and every work of darkness. No power can withstand His command. When believers use the name of Jesus to cast out demons, the demons must. *"At the name (or authority) of Jesus, every knee must bow"*, either in heaven, on earth or underneath the earth (Philippians 2:10, 11). All witchcraft, sorcery, evil works of darkness are all works of demons. Believers should learn to use the name of Jesus to deal with those forces of darkness with unwavering and persistent authority and faith. *Question* Am I living daily in the confidence of Christ's absolute authority over every power of darkness? *3. Healer and Conqueror over all Diseases* a. Modern medicine attributes all physical and mental illnesses to natural, biological, genetic and environmental causes. Medical causes of illness include pathogens, genetics and environmental factors. Also, psychosomatic effects such as high stress and emotional distress can manifest as physical symptoms. The fact that there are many medically incurable (or unknown cure) sickness and diseases, that are cured by simple prayer in the name of Jesus, is an indication that many sicknesses and diseases have spiritual undertones. Jesus rebuked Simon's mother-in-law's fever, just like He rebuked a demon and she was instantly healed and began serving others. Also, to Jesus were brought *all kinds of sick individuals to Him, and He healed them*. Though Jesus is not against medical healing, He never referred any sick to the hospitals of those days; He healed them all. No disease was beyond His power. b. His compassion matched His authority. Christ remains the Great Physician who heals physically according to His will, restores spiritually, and delivers completely from the bondage of sin. His power is sufficient for every need of His children. Has Jesus changed? (Hebrews 13:8). *Question* Have I brought every sickness, burden and impossible situation to the Great Healer in faith? *Prayer Points* 1.Lord Jesus, strengthen my faith to recognize and submit completely to Your supreme power and authority 🙏. 2.Father, give me spiritual fire that I will be a threat to demons and their works 🙏. 3.Great Physician, let Your healing and deliverance touch be more manifested in my ministry 🙏. 4.Let the power of the Holy Spirit manifest mightily in Your Church so that spiritually camouflaging people will not have a hiding place in the congregation 🙏. *HYMN:* Christ Jesus hath the power *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* JOHN 6-7. 2. 🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 213 DATE: 1ST AUGUST 2026 TOPIC: IGNITING THE FIRE (Part 3) ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: PSALMS 119:11 (NKJV) "Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You." Devotional message: Yesterday, we saw that God commands the fire on the altar to burn continually and that a consistent prayer life is essential to keeping that fire alive. Today, we look at another vital key to sustaining spiritual fire—the Word of God. A fire cannot continue burning without fuel. Just as natural fire requires dry wood, spiritual fire requires the continual supply of God's Word. Prayer and the Word work together. Prayer draws us into God's presence, while His Word nourishes, strengthens, and fuels the fire within us. Without a steady intake of Scripture, our spiritual fervency gradually declines. However, reading the Bible alone is not enough. We must meditate on the Word, ponder it, and allow it to dwell richly in our hearts. Joshua was instructed to meditate on God's Word day and night, and the result would be prosperity and success (Joshua 1:8). Likewise, when we hide God's Word in our hearts, it transforms our thinking, renews our minds, and empowers us to live in obedience to Him. In Acts 28, the Apostle Paul placed a bundle of wood on the fire, and because the fire was burning intensely, a viper hidden in the wood came out. Spiritually, as we continually feed on God's Word and keep the fire of the Holy Spirit burning, the hidden works of the flesh are exposed. Jealousy, bitterness, envy, malice, pride, unforgiveness, and every other sinful attitude cannot remain concealed in a heart that is continually being purified by the fire of God's presence and the truth of His Word. Child of God, make it your daily practice to study, meditate on, and obey the Scriptures. Let the Word of Christ dwell richly within you. As you continually feed your spirit with God's Word, your fire will remain strong, your faith will grow, and your life will increasingly reflect the character of Jesus Christ. The Word of God is the fuel that sustains spiritual fire. A believer who continually feeds on God's Word will remain spiritually vibrant and fruitful. Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your living Word. Create in me a hunger to study, meditate on, and obey Your Word every day. Let Your truth dwell richly in my heart and continually fuel the fire of the Holy Spirit within me. Purge every work of the flesh from my life, and transform me into the image of Christ.
