• The word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, and My Spirit, remain among you: fear ye not.

    Haggai 2:5 ᴊɴᴅ

We can give thanks to God that, as we await the coming of the Lord Jesus, we always have with us His precious Word, which not only does not change but “abides for eternity” (1 Pet. 1:25). This world wants to make us believe God’s Word is archaic, man-made, full of mistakes, not from God, and that it should be adapted to our times. But not so! It is “not men’s word, but … as it is truly, God’s word” (1 Th. 2:13), and it does not change: “the word of the Lord abides for eternity” (1 Pet. 1:25).

We are also blessed and privileged to have God’s Holy Spirit who abides with us, and is in us, and will be with us forever (Jn. 14:16–17)! The natural man can neither receive nor know the things of God, but the Spirit of God makes us know “the things which have been freely given to us of God” (1 Cor. 2:12). And thus we can build ourselves up on our most holy faith, the Spirit of God using the Word of God to make us know and grasp as a living and present reality the things concerning “Him who has called [us] out of darkness to His wonderful light” (1 Pet. 2:9), as well as all of God’s eternal purpose “for them that love Him” (1 Cor. 2:9).

Haggai had a similar message for his contemporaries when he declared from the Lord, “Work: for I am with you, saith Jehovah of hosts. The word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, and my Spirit, remain among you: fear ye not” (Hag. 2:4–5). The people had to rebuild the temple, for the Messiah, “the desire of all nations” (v. 7), was coming, and there was work still to be done. And so for us: until we hear the sound of the last trumpet, we have the same encouragement, to work at the edification of the body of Christ (Eph. 4:11–12), finding all the resources of grace we need to do so in our soon coming Lord Jesus Christ!

  • WHY WE DON'T PUT AN ALTAR ON AN ALTAR:
A Prophetic Revelation on Spiritual Identity.
In many cultures across the world, a common weapon of spiritual and psychological warfare involves targeting a person's identity. Malicious individuals, envious colleagues, or hidden enemies often take a person’s photograph, name, or reputation, and subject it to dark altars, malicious gatherings, or toxic rituals. The goal is simple: to suppress, manipulate, or completely destroy the victim's destiny.
When people find out their identity is being targeted, fear usually sets in. But today, I want to introduce a universal spiritual law and a proverb that God gave me to break this fear once and for all: "We don't put an altar on an altar".

    "THE ANATOMY OF AN ALTAR
To understand this proverb, we must understand what an altar is. An altar is not just a physical table or a heap of stones; it is a legal landing pad where the spiritual realm interfaces with the physical realm. It is a place of covenants, commitments, and spiritual authority.
When a malicious force tries to target your identity, they believe they are subjecting your life to the authority of their domain.

    YOU ARE THE ALTAR
Here is the heavy spiritual mystery they fail to realize: As a believer, you are not an empty vessel. The Apostle Paul reminds us in (1 Corinthians 6:19) that our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit. If your body is a temple, it means there is an active, burning altar of the Living God residing inside your spirit. You are a moving, living altar. Your identity carries the spiritual frequency, presence, and fire of the God you serve.

    THE CLASH OF FOUNDATIONS
Therefore, when an enemy targets you, they are literally trying to place an altar on top of an altar. In the realm of the spirit, this creates a violent clash of legalities. A lower, human-made, or demonic foundation cannot sit on top of or overwrite a supreme, divine foundation. You cannot place a counterfeit authority over the original authority of God. Instead of their dark setups swallowing up your destiny, your presence as a divine altar enters their space as a disruptive force.

    THE EXAMPLE OF DAGON
We see this law perfectly demonstrated in (1 Samuel 5). When the Philistines captured the Ark of God, they foolishly brought it into the temple of their god, Dagon, and set it right next to him. They tried to place the supreme altar of Jehovah within the domain of a lesser deity.
What happened? The next morning, Dagon was found fallen face down on the ground before the Ark. They stood him up again, and by the next day, Dagon had fallen again—this time with his head and hands broken off.

    A PROPHETIC DECLARATION
If you are reading this today, let this proverb give you absolute confidence. You are protected by a permanent spiritual covenant. If they have targeted your life in any hidden room to manipulate your marriage, finances, or health, do not panic. Because you are an altar, their opposition has just invited a consuming fire into its own space. The attack will backfire, the altars of darkness will shatter, and your victory is guaranteed. Remember this truth, declare it over your life, and let the world know: We don't put an altar on an altar.

THE "CLASH OF ALTARS" PROPHETIC PRAYER BY PROPHET LORDSON ASAMOAH ( Lordson DeLordson).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ,I stand as a servant of the Living God, and I decree this day over your life: You are a living, breathing altar of the Holy Spirit! Your identity is wrapped in Christ, and your destiny is anchored on a supreme divine foundation.
Hear the Word of the Lord: We don't put an altar on an altar!
    Therefore, I command right now:

Every secret gathering, coven, or dark room across the world where your name is being mentioned for evil—let the fire of God scatter them!
Any altar of darkness where your picture, your clothing, or your identity has been laid to tie down your destiny—let that lower altar catch fire and shatter to pieces!
Just as Dagon fell and broke before the Ark of God. I decree that every opposing power trying to sit on top of your marriage, your finances, or your health must fall face down and break today!
Because you are an active altar of God, any dark force that touches your identity has touched a consuming fire. The weapon formed against you will not only fail, it will backfire violently by the power of the Holy Spirit.
    You are protected.
    You are fortified.
    You are victorious.
    In Jesus' mighty name, AMEN!

  • TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS

    SERMON TOPIC:

5 “RELIGIONS” THAT SEEM CHRISTIAN, BUT ARE NOT!

    Theme Scripture:

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders…” — Matthew 24:24

    > Important clarification: This message should not be used to attack people or mock sincere believers. The issue is doctrine—what a movement teaches about Jesus Christ, salvation, Scripture, and the gospel. Some groups may use Christian language while holding beliefs that differ fundamentally from historic biblical Christianity.

NOT EVERYTHING THAT SAYS “JESUS” PREACHES JESUS.

Church, one of the greatest dangers facing Christianity today is not only atheism.
It is deception wearing religious clothing.
The greatest danger is not always the person who says, “I don't believe in Jesus.” Sometimes the greater danger is the person who says, “Jesus is Lord,” carries a Bible, talks about prayer, sings Christian songs—but teaches another gospel.
    Jesus warned us:
    Matthew 7:15:
    > “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing…”

Notice something: Jesus did not say they would come looking like wolves.
    They come in sheep's clothing.
That means deception can look familiar.
    It can sound spiritual.
    It can quote Scripture.
    It can mention Jesus.
It can even perform impressive religious activities.

    But the question is:

    WHO IS JESUS TO YOU?
Because Christianity is not simply about believing that Jesus existed.
It is about believing who Jesus is, what He accomplished on the cross, and how sinners are saved through Him.

    1. THE JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES.

Jehovah's Witnesses use the Bible extensively and speak about God and Jesus. However, their theology differs fundamentally from historic Christian doctrine.
One major difference concerns the identity of Jesus Christ.
Historic Christianity teaches that Jesus is truly God, eternally existing with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
    John 1:1 says:
    > “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
And John 1:14 identifies the Word:
    > “And the Word was made flesh…”

Jesus is not merely a created messenger.
    Why does this matter?
Because if Jesus is only a created being, then the biblical doctrine of Christ has been fundamentally changed.
    Colossians 1:16 says concerning Christ:
    > “For by him were all things created…”
If all things were created through Him, Christ cannot simply be another created thing.

    Spiritual lesson:

Do not determine truth by how much Scripture someone quotes. Determine truth by whether their teaching agrees with the whole counsel of Scripture.

    2. THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS — LDS/MORMONISM.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints uses the name of Jesus Christ and teaches about God, salvation, prayer and family.
But its theology differs substantially from historic Christianity.
Among its distinctive teachings are additional scriptures and doctrines concerning God, humanity, Jesus Christ, salvation and eternal destiny.
The biblical faith teaches that Scripture is God's authoritative revelation and that the gospel of Christ is not to be replaced by another gospel.
    Paul warned:
    Galatians 1:8
    > “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”
The issue is therefore not merely:
    “Do they talk about Jesus?”
    The issue is:
“Is the Jesus they preach the Jesus revealed in Scripture?”
    Paul said:
    2 Corinthians 11:4
    > “For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus…
There can be a different Jesus presented using the same name.

    3. CHRISTIAN SCIENCE.

Christian Science uses Christian vocabulary and refers to Jesus, God, prayer and healing.
But its understanding of fundamental Christian doctrines differs significantly from biblical Christianity.
Historic Christianity teaches the reality of sin, the physical incarnation of Christ, His death and bodily resurrection.
    The Bible says:
    1 Corinthians 15:3–4
    > “Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day…”
The resurrection was not merely a spiritual idea.
Jesus physically rose from the dead.
Thomas was invited to touch the wounds of the risen Christ.
    Jesus Himself said:
    Luke 24:39
    > “A spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.”

    Spiritual lesson:
Never reduce Christianity to positive thinking, spirituality or personal experience.
The Christian faith is grounded in the historical work of Jesus Christ.
    The cross was real.
    The blood was real.
    The resurrection was real.
    And salvation is real.

    4. UNITARIAN UNIVERSALISM

Unitarian Universalism is religiously diverse and generally does not require belief in the historic Christian doctrines of the Trinity, the deity of Christ, or salvation through Christ alone.
This is important because Christianity is not simply:
    > “Be a good person, love everybody, and believe in God.”
Jesus did not teach that human morality alone could save us.
    Jesus said:
    John 14:6
    > “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

    Christianity is fundamentally Christ-centered.
    Acts 4:12 declares:
    > “Neither is there salvation in any other…”
    The danger of religious morality
A person can be kind and still be spiritually lost.
A person can give to charity and still need salvation.
A person can help the poor and still need Christ.
Good works are important—but good works do not replace the gospel.
    Ephesians 2:8–9 says:
    > “For by grace are ye saved through faith… Not of works…”
    5. ONENESS PENTECOSTALISM
Here we need to be especially careful.
Not everyone who uses the term "Oneness Pentecostal" believes exactly the same thing, but historic Christian churches generally regard Oneness theology as outside orthodox Trinitarian Christianity.
    Why?
    Because historic Christianity teaches:
One God in three distinct Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
    Matthew 28:19 says:
    > “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”
At Jesus' baptism, we see the Son being baptized, the Spirit descending like a dove, and the Father's voice from heaven.
The Father is not the Son.
The Son is not the Holy Spirit.
    Yet there is one God.
This is the mystery of the Trinity.

    Spiritual lesson:

We must never reshape God into something easier for our minds to understand.
We submit our understanding to God's revelation.

    THE BIBLICAL CASE STUDY:

    THE BEREANS.

Acts 17:11 gives us one of the greatest examples of spiritual discernment.
    The Bereans:
    > “received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
Notice they did not blindly accept even Paul's preaching.
    They searched the Scriptures.
    That is spiritual maturity.
    The question is not:
    > “Who preached it?”
    The question is:
    > “Is it biblical?”
    Not:
    > “How popular is this teacher?”
    But:
    > “Does this teaching agree with Scripture?”
    Not:
    > “How many miracles happened?”
    But:
    > “Does this exalt the biblical Christ?”

5 TESTS FOR IDENTIFYING FALSE TEACHING.

    1. WHAT DOES IT TEACH ABOUT JESUS?
    Is Jesus truly God?
    Did He truly become flesh?
    Did He truly die?
Did He physically rise from the dead?
    Is He the only Savior?
1 John 4:2–3 gives us a serious test concerning the confession of Christ.
    2. WHAT DOES IT TEACH ABOUT SALVATION?
    The biblical gospel says:
    Ephesians 2:8:
    > “For by grace are ye saved through faith…”
Salvation is not something we purchase with good works.
It is God's gift through faith in Christ.
    3. WHAT AUTHORITY DOES IT GIVE SCRIPTURE?
    Whenever a movement says:
    > “The Bible is not enough; you need our special revelation…”
Christians must examine that claim carefully.
    The Bereans searched the Scriptures.
    Acts 17:11.
    4. DOES IT PREACH ANOTHER GOSPEL?
Paul was extremely strong about this.
    Galatians 1:9:
    > “If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”
    There is only one gospel.
    5. DOES IT PRODUCE CHRISTLIKE FRUIT?
    Jesus said:
    Matthew 7:20
    > “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”
    Truth should produce holiness.
    Grace should produce transformation.
    The gospel should produce Christlikeness.

    DEEP SPIRITUAL INSIGHT.

The devil does not always need to convince people to stop believing in God.
Sometimes he only needs to convince them to believe in a distorted version of God.
That is why discernment is essential.
Satan quoted Scripture when he tempted Jesus.
    Matthew 4:6.
So the question is not simply:
“Does this person quote the Bible?”
    The question is:
“Is the Bible being interpreted correctly and is Christ being faithfully proclaimed?”

    PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS.

    1. READ YOUR BIBLE FOR YOURSELF
Do not build your theology entirely on sermons, TikTok videos, Facebook posts or YouTube clips.
2 Timothy 2:15 calls believers to rightly divide the word of truth.
    2. KNOW THE FUNDAMENTALS OF CHRISTIAN FAITH
Know what the Bible teaches about:
    God
    Jesus Christ
    The Holy Spirit
    Sin
    Salvation
    Grace
    The resurrection
    The second coming
    The authority of Scripture
    3. TEST EVERY TEACHING
Don't reject something merely because it is unfamiliar.
And don't accept something merely because it is popular.

    Test it by Scripture.

    4. DON'T MOCK PEOPLE
Our assignment is not to insult people.
Our assignment is to speak the truth in love.
2 Timothy 2:24–25 teaches believers to correct those who oppose the truth with gentleness.
    5. KEEP YOUR EYES ON CHRIST.
The goal of discernment is not to become experts in other people's errors.
The goal is to become deeply rooted in Jesus Christ and His Word.

    QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION.

    1. Who do I believe Jesus Christ really is?
    2. Do I know the biblical gospel clearly?
    3. Can I recognize false teaching when I hear it?
    4. Do I read Scripture for myself?
    5. Have I allowed popularity to become my standard for truth?
    6. Am I following Christ—or merely following a religious personality?
    7. Can I defend my faith from Scripture?

    POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS.

    1.
Father, give me the spirit of discernment. Help me distinguish truth from error, in Jesus' name.
    2.
Lord, establish me deeply in Your Word so that I will not be carried away by every doctrine.
    3.
Father, reveal every false belief operating in my life and lead me into biblical truth.
    4.
Lord Jesus, help me know You—not merely know about You.
    5.
Give me wisdom to recognize false teachers without becoming judgmental, arrogant or hateful.
    6.
Holy Spirit, protect my heart from deception and keep me faithful to the true gospel.
    7.
Father, make me a faithful teacher of Your Word who will speak truth with love.

    STRONG CLOSING:

DON'T JUST CARRY A BIBLE—KNOW THE CHRIST OF THE BIBLE

Beloved, we are living in a generation where information is everywhere but discernment is becoming scarce.
    Everybody has a microphone.
    Everybody has an opinion.
    Everybody can build a platform.
Everybody can quote a Bible verse.
But not everybody is preaching the gospel.
Therefore, don't follow a preacher simply because he is famous.
Don't follow a movement because it is popular.
Don't follow a religion because it uses Christian language.

    Follow Jesus Christ.
    Search the Scriptures.
    Test every doctrine.
    Guard your faith.
    Know the Word.
    Know the Savior.
And when deception comes wearing religious clothing, may the Holy Spirit give you the wisdom to recognize it.
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God.” — 1 John 4:1
The question is not merely, “Does it look Christian?”
The question is: “Does it faithfully proclaim the Jesus of Scripture and the gospel of grace?”
    Stand on the Word.
    Hold fast to Christ.
    Walk in truth.
And never trade biblical truth for religious appearance.

Surrender to Jesus by joining a Bible believing Church near you.

Paul warned: Galatians 1:8 > “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” The issue is therefore not merely: “Do they talk about Jesus?” The issue is: “Is the Jesus they preach the Jesus revealed in Scripture?” Paul said: 2 Corinthians 11:4 > “For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus… There can be a different Jesus presented using the same name. The Bible says: 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 > “Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day…” The resurrection was not merely a spiritual idea. Jesus physically rose from the dead. Thomas was invited to touch the wounds of the risen Christ. Jesus Himself said: Luke 24:39 > “A spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.” Spiritual lesson: Never reduce Christianity to positive thinking, spirituality or personal experience. The Christian faith is grounded in the historical work of Jesus Christ. The cross was real. The blood was real. The resurrection was real. And salvation is real. 4. UNITARIAN UNIVERSALISM Unitarian Universalism is religiously diverse and generally does not require belief in the historic Christian doctrines of the Trinity, the deity of Christ, or salvation through Christ alone. This is important because Christianity is not simply: > “Be a good person, love everybody, and believe in God.” Jesus did not teach that human morality alone could save us. Jesus said: John 14:6 > “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Christianity is fundamentally Christ-centered. Acts 4:12 declares: > “Neither is there salvation in any other…” The danger of religious morality A person can be kind and still be spiritually lost. A person can give to charity and still need salvation. A person can help the poor and still need Christ. Good works are important—but good works do not replace the gospel. Ephesians 2:8–9 says: > “For by grace are ye saved through faith… Not of works…” 5. ONENESS PENTECOSTALISM Here we need to be especially careful. Not everyone who uses the term "Oneness Pentecostal" believes exactly the same thing, but historic Christian churches generally regard Oneness theology as outside orthodox Trinitarian Christianity. Why? Because historic Christianity teaches: One God in three distinct Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19 says: > “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” At Jesus' baptism, we see the Son being baptized, the Spirit descending like a dove, and the Father's voice from heaven. The Father is not the Son. The Son is not the Holy Spirit. Yet there is one God. This is the mystery of the Trinity. Spiritual lesson: We must never reshape God into something easier for our minds to understand. We submit our understanding to God's revelation. THE BIBLICAL CASE STUDY: THE BEREANS. Acts 17:11 gives us one of the greatest examples of spiritual discernment. The Bereans: > “received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Notice they did not blindly accept even Paul's preaching. They searched the Scriptures. That is spiritual maturity. The question is not: > “Who preached it?” The question is: > “Is it biblical?” Not: > “How popular is this teacher?” But: > “Does this teaching agree with Scripture?” Not: > “How many miracles happened?” But: > “Does this exalt the biblical Christ?” 5 TESTS FOR IDENTIFYING FALSE TEACHING. The biblical gospel says: Ephesians 2:8: > “For by grace are ye saved through faith…” Salvation is not something we purchase with good works. It is God's gift through faith in Christ. 3. WHAT AUTHORITY DOES IT GIVE SCRIPTURE? Whenever a movement says: > “The Bible is not enough; you need our special revelation…” Christians must examine that claim carefully. The Bereans searched the Scriptures. Acts 17:11. 4. DOES IT PREACH ANOTHER GOSPEL? Paul was extremely strong about this. Galatians 1:9: > “If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” There is only one gospel. 5. DOES IT PRODUCE CHRISTLIKE FRUIT? Jesus said: Matthew 7:20 > “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” Truth should produce holiness. So the question is not simply: “Does this person quote the Bible?” The question is: “Is the Bible being interpreted correctly and is Christ being faithfully proclaimed?” PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS. 1. READ YOUR BIBLE FOR YOURSELF Do not build your theology entirely on sermons, TikTok videos, Facebook posts or YouTube clips. 2 Timothy 2:15 calls believers to rightly divide the word of truth. 2. KNOW THE FUNDAMENTALS OF CHRISTIAN FAITH Know what the Bible teaches about: God Jesus Christ The Holy Spirit Sin Salvation Grace The resurrection The second coming The authority of Scripture 3. TEST EVERY TEACHING Don't reject something merely because it is unfamiliar. And don't accept something merely because it is popular. Test it by Scripture. 4. DON'T MOCK PEOPLE Our assignment is not to insult people. STRONG CLOSING: DON'T JUST CARRY A BIBLE—KNOW THE CHRIST OF THE BIBLE Beloved, we are living in a generation where information is everywhere but discernment is becoming scarce. “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God.” — 1 John 4:1 The question is not merely, “Does it look Christian?” The question is: “Does it faithfully proclaim the Jesus of Scripture and the gospel of grace?” Stand on the Word. Hold fast to Christ. Walk in truth. And never trade biblical truth for religious appearance. Surrender to Jesus by joining a Bible believing Church near you. THEME : Don’t OVERWORK YOURSELF

    Memorise:

And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
    — Genesis 2:2 (KJV)

    Read: 1 Kings 19:4-8 (KJV)

4 But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.
5 And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.
6 And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.
7 And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.
8 And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.

    Message

Elijah must have used up a lot of stored-up spiritual energy when he prayed, and fire fell from heaven in 1 Kings 18:36-38. After that, he drew upon the same reservoir of spiritual energy to summon rain from heaven. It had not rained for three and a half years, and the sky was absolutely clear, but he put a significant demand on his reservoir of spiritual energy by praying until it started raining (1 Kings 18:41-45). Furthermore, he used even more spiritual energy to run faster than the king's chariot (1 Kings 18:46) for a distance that some Bible scholars estimate to be about seven kilometres. After doing all these, he hadn't rested or taken time to recharge his spiritual energy when he received news that Queen Jezebel was after his life.

His spiritual energy had been grossly depleted, so he ran for three days and nights to save his life. By the time he got to the juniper tree in today's Bible reading, he was so weak and spiritually drained that he prayed to God to end his life. As soon as he said this prayer, he fell asleep because he had not slept for more than three days. The angel of the Lord came to wake him up to eat, and after eating, he fell asleep again, even though he was aware that Queen Jezebel was still after his life. The angel of the Lord had to wake him up a second time to eat again because he needed strength for the great journey ahead of him. You must also take time out to rest and recharge your spiritual energy if you want to run the race ahead of you successfully.

In Genesis 1:1-31, the Bible describes how God created one thing after another. It was a lot of work, but as the account progressed to Genesis 2:2, which is today's memory verse, you will see that God rested. Beloved, you cannot be wiser than God. If God Himself rested after creation, then you must also create time to rest from time to time. Do not finish one demanding task after another without taking time to rest. Many people have overworked themselves to the point of exhaustion, but this is not God's plan for anyone. He wants you to know when and how to take rests so you don't burn yourself out.
Beloved, I pray that the Almighty God will shower you with His wisdom so you will know how to preserve your strength, in Jesus' name.

Verse 2:Open now the crystal fountain,Whence the healing stream doth flow;Let the fire and cloudy pillarLead me all my journey through;Strong Deliverer, strong Deliverer,Be Thou still my strength and shield.

    Verse 3:
When I tread the verge of Jordan,
    Bid my anxious fears subside;
Death of death, and hell's destruction,
    Land me safe on Canaan's side;
Songs of praises, songs of praises,
I will ever give to Thee.

Remain blessed, in Jesus name.[28/08, 7:59 pm] +234 806 008 5461: OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE : SATURDAY 29th AUGUST 2026 THEME : Don’t OVERWORK YOURSELF Memorise: And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. — Genesis 2:2 (KJV) Read: 1 Kings 19:4-8 (KJV) 4 But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers. Message Elijah must have used up a lot of stored-up spiritual energy when he prayed, and fire fell from heaven in 1 Kings 18:36-38. Reflection: Do you rest when you ought to? Bible in Ezekiel 18-20 Hymn 33: Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah! Verse 1:Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah,Pilgrim through this barren land;I am weak, but Thou art mighty,Hold me with Thy powerful hand;Bread of heaven, Bread of heaven,Feed me till I want no more. Verse 2:Open now the crystal fountain,Whence the healing stream doth flow;Let the fire and cloudy pillarLead me all my journey through;Strong Deliverer, strong Deliverer,Be Thou still my strength and shield. Verse 3: When I tread the verge of Jordan, Bid my anxious fears subside; Death of death, and hell's destruction, Land me safe on Canaan's side; Songs of praises, songs of praises, I will ever give to Thee. PRAYER POINTS ON TODAY'S OPEN HEAVENS DEVOTIONAL, SATURDAY, 29TH AUGUST, 2026- *DON'T OVERWORK YOURSELF I* ‎ PRAYER POINTS ‎ 1.Father, thank You for giving us the day, to work, and the night, for rest. • Our God is Jehovah Jireh—the Lord who provides.
Philippians 4:19 reminds us that God's provision is not limited by our circumstances. He knows every need before we ask, and He is faithful to supply according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. His provision may come in different ways and in His perfect timing, but His faithfulness never fails.
Today, place every need before Him with confidence. Trust His heart, rest in His promises, and remember that the God who has carried you this far will continue to sustain you.
May the Lord provide for every need in your life, strengthen your faith, fill your heart with peace, and remind you that His resources are never exhausted.

  • There is no need too great, no wound too deep, no battle too fierce, and no valley too dark for the name of Jesus.

When I feel unseen, He is El Roi—the God who sees me.
When I am in need, He is Jehovah Jireh—the Lord who provides.
When I am hurting, He is Jehovah Rapha—the Lord who heals.
When my heart is troubled, He is Jehovah Shalom—the Lord who is peace.
When the battle surrounds me, He is Jehovah Nissi—the Lord who is my banner.
When I lose my way, He is Jehovah Rohi—the Lord who is my Shepherd.
When I am weak, He is El Shaddai—God Almighty.
When sin condemns me, He is Jehovah Tsidkenu—the Lord my righteousness.
When the future is uncertain, He is Alpha and Omega—the Beginning and the End.

Different names revealing one faithful God. One truth. One Savior. Jesus—the Name above every name.

Whatever you are facing today, call upon His name. His name still saves. His name still heals. His name still provides. His name still protects. His name still brings peace.
