TUESDAY MORNING FAMILY PRAYER! “LORD, MOVE IN OUR FAMILIES!” “Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear.” — Isaiah 59:1 (KJV) Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come before You this Tuesday morning lifting up our entire family. Lord, move in our families as never before! Go into every home, touch every heart, and meet every need. Father, we lift up every family member who does not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Your Word says You are “not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). Lord, save our sons, daughters, grandchildren, spouses, parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. Draw them to Jesus and bring the wandering ones home! Father, touch every family member dealing with physical sickness, mental and emotional struggles, pain, disease, anxiety, fear, discouragement, or exhaustion. “Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed.” — Jeremiah 17:14 (KJV) Lord, heal bodies, strengthen minds, restore peace, guide doctors, and give wisdom concerning every treatment and decision. Father, we cry out for those struggling with drugs and alcohol. Break every chain of addiction! Destroy destructive cycles and give them strength, treatment, support, and godly people to walk with them toward freedom. “He brought them out of darkness... and brake their bands in sunder.” — Psalm 107:14 (KJV) Lord, we place our finances before You. Provide where there is lack. Give us wisdom, discipline, favor, opportunity, and resources. Help us become faithful stewards of everything You place in our hands. We pray for every family member seeking employment. “Establish thou the work of our hands upon us.” — Psalm 90:17 (KJV) Lord, open doors no one can shut. Give favor with applications, résumés, interviews, and employers. Lead them to the right opportunities. And for those who are already employed, Father, we thank You! Now we believe You for increase, advancement, salary increases, new opportunities, and promotion according to Your will. Lord, heal broken relationships. Restore communication. Break generational cycles. Remove unforgiveness, division, and bitterness. Protect our children, marriages, homes, and loved ones from dangers seen and unseen. Father, move through our bloodline! Save our family. Heal our family. Deliver our family. Provide for our family. Restore our family. Protect our family. Now I Know Why By Idalia Dinzey September 1st, 2026 “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” John 12:34 Can TV programs really affect the mind of a child and change the course of their life? I can answer that question with an experience from my childhood. I was somewhere between seven and eight years of age, and it was Semana Santa (Holy Week) in Puerto Rico. I was home with my three brothers as we watched a movie on TV called, Jesus of Nazareth. I remember watching the portrayal of Jesus’ life —how He became man to help us learn about our Heavenly Father, and how He was betrayed by one of His disciples who delivered Him into His enemy’s hands. Judas believed and knew that Jesus could put a stop to everything and get away…but He didn’t! As I watched, the movie took a painful turn, and suddenly, Jesus was being beaten! It was so heartbreaking that I ran to the screen and hugged it! “Oh Jesus, why?” I wept, even as my brothers yelled at me to get out of the way so they could watch. They didn’t understand what was happening inside of me. I ran to my room and sobbed into my pillow, “Why did you let them do that to you Jesus? Why? Why? Why?” I still cry as I read, hear, or watch anything about Christ’s ultimate sacrifice; but I no longer ask why, because I know why. And I’ve never let go that memory, and for a good reason. What I watched decades ago has remained in my heart and fueled my desire to teach our children about their salvation at an early age. I thank God for a mother who brought us up to love the Lord and be of service to Him. And I certainly never thought I’d be working with a television network that explains the “why’s” of Jesus to children, as well as adults. I know there are children whose parents don’t speak English, Spanish or Portuguese – the languages on 3ABN English and 3ABN Latino networks. But they are increasingly being taught English as an international language, and we shouldn’t underestimate the influence they’ll have as they translate our programs for their families. Television and radio can change lives for the good, and Bible truths bring about a sure change for the best! I’m so thankful for all who take a stand in supporting Jesus’ coming to our world to draw all men to Him. Our children and our homes have been blessed because of you!

Guidelines for living. September 1st, 2026 Does My Life Have Any Purpose? For when David had served God's purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep. Acts 13:36 One of the greatest tragedies in life is to get very close to reaching your goal, arriving at your full potential, accomplishing what you set out to do, only to fall short of what you wanted. It's always sad to have to quit a few hundred meters short of the top, or to get so very close to winning, only to have victory snatched from your grasp. Unrealized goals, unfulfilled potential - what a tragedy! With a sigh, we speak of, "The man he might have been," or "the woman she could have become." You tell me what your heart yearns to do, what you think about when you lie awake unable to sleep in the night hours, and I'll tell you what kind of a person you really are. If money consumes your thinking, you're materialistic. If you think only of revenge, you're angry and bitter. If your thoughts are of God and how you can serve Him, you are a person of spiritual sensitivity and dedication. When I interview people, I often ask the interviewee a closing question: "At the end of your life, how would you like to be remembered?" Answers tell me a lot about the person who responds. A thousand years after David, the king of ancient Israel, Luke, one of the writers of the New Testament, included a few thoughts about how David was remembered. He wrote, "For when David had served God's purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep ... " (Acts 13:36). Another translation adds a single phrase which injects even more meaning. It reads, "For when David had served God's purpose in his own generation according to the will of God, he fell asleep" (Nestle's Greek text). The overview of history is often so much different than how we appear in the smoke and the dust of the battle. For a few moments, measure your life against the benchmark of what Luke wrote about David. First, he served God's purpose. Now translate this to our generation: to your family, your workplace, your neighborhood. Would you say that you are really accomplishing God's purpose for your life? Or would you have to say, "No, I fall far short of that"? You may be asking, "Well, what is God's purpose for my life?" Good question! There's a whole book that answers that one. It's called the Bible. It explains very clearly what God's purpose is for your life in simple, easy-to-understand language. Now, the second thought is that David was responsible only for his generation. You can't do anything about what took place a hundred years ago, or even a generation ago. That's history. But you can do something about your generation today - the world in which you live. Some think, mistakenly, that the sum total of their influence in life is zero. It's untrue! Every person, no matter how humble or significant, influences someone. You, friend, like David, can serve God's purpose, touching someone's life, making a difference. Now, a final thought. David served God's purpose according to the will of God. That's a powerful thought. So, "does God have a will for my life?" you may be wondering. The Bible contends that He does. The writers of Scripture say that what happens to your life is of great importance to our Heavenly Father. Paul wrote, "Be very careful, then, how you live - not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore," he said, "do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is" (Ephesians 5:15-17). There you have it - a life of purpose touching our generation according to the will of God! 💧 Baptism and Prayer ☀️ The light of Christ does not disappear from those who have received the mystery of baptism, but if they immerse themselves in evil, it becomes difficult for them to recognize it. This light is the inner intellectual perception of goodness, its love, pursuit, and adherence, and steadfastness in it. It is what moves the heart toward love, longing for God, constant clinging to the name of Jesus Christ in prayer, and love for that name which overcomes all things; for it is the most beloved name to the heavenly Father, and because it is the name spoken by the Father and the Holy Spirit. It is therefore the "Beloved" name by which we offer prayers to the Father in the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. And when we are baptized in the name of the Holy Trinity, we receive a spiritual communion with the Trinity, which makes us love prayer, strive for it, and long to exist in the Trinity; for Christ Jesus who is in us moves us toward the Father, and the Spirit who is in us moves us toward Christ, and the Father's longing for us is that longing about which our Lord Jesus Christ says: "We will come to him and make our home with him" (John 14:23). #Baptism #Prayer #HolyTrinity #LightOfChrist #HolySpirit #Communion #ChristianLife

People spend their whole life trying to achieve “success,” striving for fame, fortune, and power - but when you think about it, what is the real meaning of success anyway? But no matter how high a status you reach in the eyes of others, nothing is more important than the value of your soul! The Bible says in Mark 8:36-37, “What do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?” The devil uses the trappings of this world to blind you from what really matters, and that’s staying close to God! You can’t begin to even imagine how much you mean to our heavenly Father until you think of His great sacrifice on Calvary. Only then can you start to imagine just how much you mean to Him. So if you’re wondering how much your soul is worth - well, Jesus loves you so much so that He left the splendor of heaven to give His life, dying on a cross so that you can live with Him for all eternity. September 1st, 2026 Read; Philippians 3:20 Whether or not you possess a passport, every Christian holds a deeper citizenship in heaven. Our earthly nations, languages, and cultures remain meaningful, but none can claim the allegiance that belongs to Jesus. In Christ, believers separated by borders and circumstances are members of one household and await the same Savior. You may therefore share a stronger spiritual bond with a Christian whose daily life looks entirely different from yours than with a neighbor who does not confess Christ. Heavenly citizenship teaches us to honor earthly neighbors while recognizing brothers and sisters throughout the world. Prayer Glorious God and Almighty Father, I eagerly await the day when people from every nation, tribe, and language gather around Your throne in joyful worship. Even now, unite Your people in Christ across every border and make our fellowship a faithful glimpse of the kingdom to come. Lord Jesus, come. In Your precious name, I pray. Amen.

September 1 🌿 “WHEN I CANNOT SEE HIS HAND” WHEN I CHOOSE TO REMEMBER 📖 Lamentations 3:21–23 (LLV) — “Yet this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: Because of the LORD's faithful love we are not consumed, for His mercies never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” There are times when hope seems to arrive naturally. Something changes. A prayer is answered. A door opens. The clouds begin to clear. And suddenly hope feels possible again. That is not what happens here. Jeremiah is surrounded by devastation. The city he loves has fallen. His people are suffering. His heart is filled with grief. Nothing around him has suddenly become better. Then Jeremiah says: “This I call to mind.” He makes a choice. He remembers something. And because of what he remembers, hope begins to return. “Therefore I have hope.” Sometimes hope begins not when our circumstances change, but when we remember what our circumstances have caused us to forget. God is still faithful. His mercy has not run out. His love has not disappeared. His character has not changed. Jeremiah cannot yet look around and say, “Everything is well.” But he can look toward God and say, “Great is Your faithfulness.” That is a very different kind of hope. It does not deny the ruins. It does not pretend the pain is small. It simply refuses to allow the ruins to tell the entire story. Then Jeremiah gives us one of Scripture's most beautiful images: “His mercies are new every morning.” Yesterday may have been difficult. Yesterday may contain things we cannot change. Yesterday may have exhausted every bit of strength we thought we had. But morning comes. And when it does, God's mercy has not been used up by yesterday. There is mercy for this morning. Grace for this day. Strength for this burden. Faithfulness for this step. Perhaps that is why remembering matters so much. When we cannot see God's hand in what is happening now, we can remember where we have seen it before. We remember the prayers He answered. The strength He supplied. The doors He opened. The times He carried us through something we once thought we could never endure. And memory becomes a bridge between yesterday's faithfulness and today's hope. Nothing around Jeremiah had changed. But he remembered something greater than what surrounded him. God had not changed. A new beginning sometimes begins by remembering: when I cannot see what God is doing today, I can remember who He has always been. Reflection: What evidence of God's faithfulness from yesterday do I need to deliberately remember today? Prayer: Heavenly Father, when difficulty fills my vision, I can easily forget the many ways You have already been faithful. Help me call them to mind. Remind me of Your mercy, Your provision, Your strength, and Your presence through every season behind me. Thank You that yesterday cannot exhaust the mercy You have prepared for today. Whatever surrounds me this morning, let me remember and say with Jeremiah: “Great is Your faithfulness.” In Jesus' name, Amen.

FORGIVEN, ACCEPTED, AND LOVED “So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.” —Ephesians 1:6–8 Because Jesus lives, you can be forgiven of your sins. The Apostle Paul wrote, “So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding” (Ephesians 1:6–8 NLT). That’s important to remember because your spiritual enemy will use guilt to make you question your relationship with the Lord. He will try to convince you that your sin makes you unworthy to be part of God’s family. Remember, though, that everything God has done has been because of His grace, which means “unmerited favor.” You aren’t merely forgiven, justified, and cleansed of your sins; you have been received in love by God Himself. This is because of His deep love for His own Son, Jesus. Because His Son lives in you, you have found His favor. You have the approval of God because of what Jesus has done. Some people have been raised in homes where their father never demonstrated any kind of love toward them. Maybe he was cold and distant. Or maybe, you were raised in a home where there wasn’t a father at all. We can transfer those emotions to God the Father. We can walk around in life feeling as though we don’t have the approval of God. We might think, “If I just did this, God would notice,” or “If I worked a little harder, then God would love me.” But that’s not the kind of Father we’re talking about. The psalmist wrote, “Father to the fatherless, defender of widows—this is God, whose dwelling is holy” (Psalm 68:5 NLT). Paul wrote, “All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ” (Ephesians 1:3 NLT). And James wrote, “Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father” (James 1:17 NLT). God approves of you. You are accepted and loved—not because you read your Bible a little longer, share Christ with more people, or give a little more in the offering. You are still accepted even when you don’t do all of that. You are accepted when you fail, when you slip up, when you give in to a familiar temptation. You are accepted not because of what you have done, but because of what Jesus has done. In understanding this great truth, you should want to do everything for the Lord’s glory—not to earn His approval, but because you already have it. God bless you!

One of the greatest gifts you can give your spouse is the gift of being understood. Sometimes we are quick to judge because we see the behaviour but don't know the story behind it. Your husband may come home unusually quiet. Your wife may seem distant. One of you may become impatient over something that normally wouldn't matter. The easy response is: "What's wrong with you?" But love asks a better question: "What is happening with you?" There is a difference. Perhaps your spouse had a difficult day at work. Perhaps something happened that they haven't found the courage to discuss. Perhaps they are simply tired. Understanding doesn't mean agreeing with everything your spouse does. It means taking time to understand the person before passing judgment on the behaviour. Imagine a husband returning home from work in Accra after battling traffic for hours, frustrated and exhausted. His wife notices his silence and immediately assumes, "He's angry with me." But instead of reacting, she asks: "Honey, you've been quiet. Is everything okay?" That simple question may open a door that criticism would have closed. 📖 God's Word "Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry." — James 1:19 ❤️ Today's Love Action Before making an assumption about your spouse today, ask one gentle question and listen carefully to the answer. 💬 Let's Talk Do I usually try to understand my spouse before I react to their behaviour? 🙏 Prayer Heavenly Father, teach us to listen with patience and understand with compassion. Help us not to judge quickly or assume the worst about one another. Give us hearts that are willing to listen before speaking and understand before reacting.
