  • TITLE: PURITY IS OUR REQUIREMENT โ€” OUR SANCTIFICATION WILL OF GOD โ€” BECOMING 144000 โ€” Rev 14:1-5 โ€” BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH, NOT BY EFFORTS

    ---

    INTRODUCTION:

Church โ€” Purity is our requirement. Our sanctification is will of God.

1 Thess 4:3 โ€” For this is will of God, your sanctification
1 Thess 4:7 โ€” For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness
Heb 12:14 โ€” Pursue holiness, without which no one will see Lord
1 Pet 1:15-16 โ€” Be holy, for I am holy
Matt 5:8 โ€” Blessed are pure in heart, for they shall see God

Example God gives is 144000 โ€” Rev 14:1-5 โ€” People God needs us to become.

    MAIN TEXT: Rev 14:1, 3-5

Rev 14:1 โ€” Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him 144,000 having His Father's Name written on their foreheads
Rev 14:3 โ€” Redeemed from earth
Rev 14:4 โ€” These are ones who were not defiled... for they are virgins. These are ones who follow Lamb wherever He goes. Redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to Lamb
Rev 14:5 โ€” And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before throne of God

This is standard of final salvation โ€” Pure & blameless.

POINT 1: HOW DO YOU HAVE THIS? NOT BY YOUR EFFORTS BUT BY GOD'S REDEMPTIVE GRACE OF JESUS' BLOOD AND OUR FAITHFULNESS

Eph 2:8-9 โ€” For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is gift of God, not of works
Titus 2:11-12 โ€” Grace of God... teaches us to deny ungodliness
Eph 1:7 โ€” In Him we have redemption through His blood according to riches of His grace
Rev 17:14 โ€” Those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful
Rev 2:10 โ€” Be faithful until death and I will give you crown of life
Rev 14:4 โ€” These are ones who follow Lamb wherever He goes โ€” Faithfulness

Not effort = Rom 9:16 โ€” Not of him who wills, nor runs, but of God who shows mercy โ€” But grace + your faithfulness to follow.

POINT 2: WE ARE IN FLESH THOUGH SAVED, LED BY SPIRIT โ€” BATTLE BETWEEN FLESH & SPIRIT EVERYDAY

Rom 8:9 โ€” You are not in flesh but in Spirit, if indeed Spirit of God dwells in you
Gal 5:16-17 โ€” Walk in Spirit, and you shall not fulfill lust of flesh. For flesh lusts against Spirit, and Spirit against flesh; and these are contrary to one another
Rom 7:21-23 โ€” Battle in members
Gal 5:24 โ€” Those who are Christ's have crucified flesh with its passions

You are saved, spirit-led, but battle is manifested everyday in our lives.

POINT 3: YOU MUST KEEP A CLEAN RACE UPTO END โ€” STARTED BY GRACE AND FAITH UNTIL FINAL SALVATION AS PURE & BLAMELESS LIKE 144000

Heb 12:1 โ€” Let us run with endurance race set before us
    2 Tim 4:7 โ€” I have finished race, I have kept faith
1 Cor 9:24-27 โ€” Run to obtain, bring body into subjection
Phil 1:6 โ€” He who has begun good work will complete it
Eph 2:10 โ€” Created for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them
Matt 24:13 โ€” He who endures to end shall be saved
Rev 14:5 โ€” Without fault before throne โ€” Eph 1:4 โ€” Holy and without blame โ€” Jude 1:24 โ€” Present you faultless

You started by grace and faith โ€” Gal 3:3 โ€” Having begun in Spirit โ€” You must keep clean race upto end.

POINT 4: BRETHREN THIS ISN'T EASY BUT BY PRAYER AND WORD BECOME IT, BECOME PURE

1 Tim 4:5 โ€” For it is sanctified by word of God and prayer
John 17:17 โ€” Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth
Ps 119:9 โ€” How shall young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word
Ps 119:11 โ€” Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You
Eph 5:26 โ€” Washing of water by word
John 15:3 โ€” You are already clean because of word

Word + Prayer = Purity. That is formula for 144000 formation.

POINT 5: IN THIS LAST AGE WITH THAT BATTLE โ€” TRUE REPENTANCE & BLOOD WASH IS CRUCIAL

True repentance = turning away from sin or evil you did & don't do it again.

Acts 3:19 โ€” Repent therefore and be converted, that sins may be blotted out
2 Cor 7:10 โ€” Godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation
Prov 28:13 โ€” He who confesses and forsakes will have mercy
Luke 3:8 โ€” Bear fruits worthy of repentance
1 John 3:9 โ€” Whoever born of God does not practice sin

    Blood washes, purifies you:

Rev 1:5 โ€” Washed us from sins in His own blood
1 John 1:7 โ€” Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin
Heb 9:14 โ€” Blood of Christ cleanse your conscience
Isa 1:18 โ€” Though sins like scarlet, shall be as white as snow

POINT 6: THINGS THAT MUST BE AVOIDED FOR PURITY EARNING โ€” SIN

Gal 5:19-21 โ€” Works of flesh are evident: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries
1 Cor 6:9-10 โ€” Neither fornicators, adulterers, thieves, covetous, drunkards, revilers, extortioners will inherit kingdom
Eph 4:31 โ€” Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, evil speaking be put away
James 3:16 โ€” Where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there
Col 3:8 โ€” Put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language
Rev 21:8 โ€” Unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have part in lake

You listed: envy, jealous, gossiping, quarreling, drunkenness, adultery, corruption, unbelief, compromise of truth โ€” turning away from truth to follow deception, lies โ€” etc โ€” Must be avoided.

2 Cor 7:1 โ€” Cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness
James 1:27 โ€” Keep oneself unspotted from world

POINT 7: NOT GOING TO RUN THIS CLEAN RACE TO FINAL SALVATION BY THY EFFORTS BUT BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH

Zech 4:6 โ€” Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit
Phil 2:13 โ€” It is God who works in you both to will and to do
Titus 3:5 โ€” Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us
2 Tim 1:9 โ€” Saved us... not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace

Your part is faithfulness โ€” His part is grace to keep you.

POINT 8: YOU NEED TO PRAY THE WORD THAT CLEANSES US โ€” DAVID SAYS HIS WORD KEEPS ME BLAMELESS AND IN WALK OF RIGHT PATH

Ps 119:9, 11 โ€” Cleanses way, keeps from sin
Ps 18:23 โ€” I was also blameless before Him, and I kept myself from my iniquity
Ps 119:133 โ€” Direct my steps by Your word
Ps 37:31 โ€” Law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide
Josh 1:8 โ€” Meditate in word day and night... then you will make your way prosperous

Pray the word โ€” Jer 23:29 โ€” Is not My word like fire? โ€” It burns impurity.

POINT 9: ENSURE YOU BELIEVE IN THY PRAYING โ€” PRAYER IN FAITH = WORKS, NOT FAITH ALONE โ€” BELIEVE YOU HAVE RECEIVED โ€” SPEAK THAT YOU BELIEVE

2 Cor 4:13 โ€” We having same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak
Mark 11:23-24 โ€” Whoever says... and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore... whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them
James 2:17, 22, 26 โ€” Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead... Faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect
John 6:29 โ€” This is work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent โ€” John 6:28-29 โ€” What shall we do, that we may work works of God?

Believing = works of faith. When you pray minus faith, and don't see it, this might fail your prayer.

James 1:6-7 โ€” Let him ask in faith, with no doubting... let not that man suppose he will receive anything from Lord
Heb 11:6 โ€” Without faith it is impossible to please Him
Matt 21:22 โ€” Whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive

So in this, your prayer is sealed with faith & works.

Isa 43:26 โ€” Put Me in remembrance; state your case
Job 22:28 โ€” You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you
Rom 10:10 โ€” With heart one believes unto righteousness, and with mouth confession is made unto salvation

    CONCLUSION & ALTAR CALL PRAYER:

Therefore โ€” Believe = works of faith โ€” John 6:29 โ€” And you will receive, it will be done unto you โ€” Mark 11:24

Today we choose to be pure & blameless like 144000 โ€” Not by efforts but by grace through faithfulness โ€” Turning, washed by Blood, avoiding sin, by word & prayer, believing we have received purity.

1 John 3:3 โ€” Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure

Let us pray Rev 14:1-5 prayer we made โ€” And believe we have received it โ€”

    Amen.

  • FORGIVEN, ACCEPTED, AND LOVED

“So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.”

    —Ephesians 1:6–8

Because Jesus lives, you can be forgiven of your sins. The Apostle Paul wrote, “So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding” (Ephesians 1:6–8 NLT).

That’s important to remember because your spiritual enemy will use guilt to make you question your relationship with the Lord. He will try to convince you that your sin makes you unworthy to be part of God’s family.

Remember, though, that everything God has done has been because of His grace, which means “unmerited favor.” You aren’t merely forgiven, justified, and cleansed of your sins; you have been received in love by God Himself. This is because of His deep love for His own Son, Jesus. Because His Son lives in you, you have found His favor. You have the approval of God because of what Jesus has done.

Some people have been raised in homes where their father never demonstrated any kind of love toward them. Maybe he was cold and distant. Or maybe, you were raised in a home where there wasn’t a father at all. We can transfer those emotions to God the Father. We can walk around in life feeling as though we don’t have the approval of God. We might think, “If I just did this, God would notice,” or “If I worked a little harder, then God would love me.”

But that’s not the kind of Father we’re talking about. The psalmist wrote, “Father to the fatherless, defender of widows—this is God, whose dwelling is holy” (Psalm 68:5 NLT). Paul wrote, “All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ” (Ephesians 1:3 NLT). And James wrote, “Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father” (James 1:17 NLT).

God approves of you. You are accepted and loved—not because you read your Bible a little longer, share Christ with more people, or give a little more in the offering. You are still accepted even when you don’t do all of that. You are accepted when you fail, when you slip up, when you give in to a familiar temptation. You are accepted not because of what you have done, but because of what Jesus has done.

In understanding this great truth, you should want to do everything for the Lord’s glory—not to earn His approval, but because you already have it.

    God bless you!

  • SEPTEMBER THEME โ€” LOVE THAT GROWS:
Growing Together in Love, Wisdom and Grace

    WEEK 1
    GROWING IN UNDERSTANDING
Learning to See Your Spouse Through the Eyes of Love

    SEPTEMBER DAY 1 - Morning

    Reflection
    UNDERSTANDING BEFORE JUDGING

    Good Morning!
One of the greatest gifts you can give your spouse is the gift of being understood.
Sometimes we are quick to judge because we see the behaviour but don't know the story behind it.
Your husband may come home unusually quiet.
    Your wife may seem distant.
One of you may become impatient over something that normally wouldn't matter.
    The easy response is:
    "What's wrong with you?"
But love asks a better question:
    "What is happening with you?"
    There is a difference.
Perhaps your spouse had a difficult day at work.
Perhaps something happened that they haven't found the courage to discuss.
    Perhaps they are simply tired.
Understanding doesn't mean agreeing with everything your spouse does.
It means taking time to understand the person before passing judgment on the behaviour.
Imagine a husband returning home from work in Accra after battling traffic for hours, frustrated and exhausted. His wife notices his silence and immediately assumes, "He's angry with me."
But instead of reacting, she asks:
"Honey, you've been quiet. Is everything okay?"
That simple question may open a door that criticism would have closed.

    God's Word
"Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry."
    โ€” James 1:19

    Today's Love Action
Before making an assumption about your spouse today, ask one gentle question and listen carefully to the answer.

    Let's Talk
Do I usually try to understand my spouse before I react to their behaviour?

    Prayer
Heavenly Father, teach us to listen with patience and understand with compassion. Help us not to judge quickly or assume the worst about one another. Give us hearts that are willing to listen before speaking and understand before reacting. In Jesus' name, Amen.

    From The Counselor's Chair
Many marital conflicts grow because couples respond to assumptions instead of information.
    Before you conclude, ask.
    Before you react, listen.
    Before you judge, understand.

    Marriage Nugget

In marriage, it is not about winning the argument; it is about winning each other's hearts.
SEPTEMBER THEME โ€” LOVE THAT GROWS: Growing Together in Love, Wisdom and Grace WEEK 1 GROWING IN UNDERSTANDING Learning to See Your Spouse Through the Eyes of Love SEPTEMBER DAY 1 - Morning ๐ŸŒ… Reflection UNDERSTANDING BEFORE JUDGING Good Morning! The easy response is: "What's wrong with you?" But love asks a better question: "What is happening with you?" There is a difference. His wife notices his silence and immediately assumes, "He's angry with me." But instead of reacting, she asks: "Honey, you've been quiet. Is everything okay?" That simple question may open a door that criticism would have closed. ๐Ÿ“– God's Word "Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry." โ€” James 1:19 โค๏ธ Today's Love Action Before making an assumption about your spouse today, ask one gentle question and listen carefully to the answer. ๐Ÿ’ฌ Let's Talk Do I usually try to understand my spouse before I react to their behaviour? ๐Ÿ™ Prayer Heavenly Father, teach us to listen with patience and understand with compassion. Help us not to judge quickly or assume the worst about one another. Give us hearts that are willing to listen before speaking and understand before reacting. In Jesus' name, Amen. ๐ŸŒฟ From The Counselor's Chair Many marital conflicts grow because couples respond to assumptions instead of information. Before you conclude, ask. Before you react, listen. Before you judge, understand. ๐Ÿ’Ž Marriage Nugget "Understanding often begins with one simple decision: listen before you judge." • *TODAY'S PROPHETIC DECLARATION - TUESDAY, 1ST SEPTEMBER, 2026.*

*MY MOUTH SHALL SPEAK THE PRAISE OF THE LORD*

*First Day of the New Month - Happy New Month*

    Scripture:
โ€œMy mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.โ€ โ€” Psalm 145:21 (KJV).

*Reflection โ€“ Enter September With Praise*

A new month is a gift from God. We have crossed from August into September not by our own strength, but because of God's mercy and faithfulness.

Psalm 145:21 gives us a beautiful decision to make:

โ€œMy mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD.โ€

This is more than a declaration for our lips; it is a commitment of our hearts. We choose to praise God not only when everything is perfect, but because He remains God in every season.

As you begin September, don't begin with fear about what the month may bring. Begin with praise for the God who already knows what lies ahead.

    Praise Him for His protection.
    Praise Him for His mercy.
    Praise Him for His provision.
    Praise Him for answered prayers.
Praise Him for prayers still awaiting answers.
Praise Him for the victories you can see and the battles He is fighting behind the scenes.

Your mouth has power to shape the atmosphere of your day. Therefore, let September begin with thanksgiving, worship, faith, and positive confession rooted in God's Word.

    *Prophetic Declaration:*
Today, I dedicate this new month to Almighty God. I declare that the Lord shall be glorified in my life throughout this month.

I declare that my mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord. I will not use my mouth to magnify fear, impossibility, discouragement, or defeat. I shall continually testify of God's goodness and faithfulness.

I proclaim that September shall be a month of divine favor, supernatural preservation, answered prayers, spiritual growth, open doors, restoration, fruitful labor, and glorious testimonies, according to God's perfect will for my life.

I declare that God's mercy shall speak for me throughout this month. His grace shall sustain me, His wisdom shall guide me, and His presence shall accompany me wherever I go.

I declare that every day of September shall be ordered by the Lord. My going out shall be blessed, my coming in shall be blessed, and my steps shall be directed according to His purpose.

I proclaim divine covering over my family and household. May the Lord preserve us from evil, strengthen our bonds, provide for our needs, and fill our home with peace, love, unity, and joy.

I declare God's blessing over my ministry. May He anoint me afresh, increase my spiritual capacity, make my service fruitful, and use me to touch lives and advance His Kingdom.

I declare favor over my work, business, studies, and legitimate endeavors. May the Lord establish the work of my hands and give me wisdom to recognize and maximize every opportunity He provides.

I proclaim that September shall not be a month of stagnation. I receive grace to move forward, grow, learn, build, serve, and fulfill God's purpose for my life.

I declare that every legitimate expectation I have committed to God shall receive divine attention. Where I need patience, give me patience. Where I need wisdom, give me wisdom. Where I need courage, give me courage.

I declare that my testimony will not be silenced. My mouth shall praise God before the breakthrough, during the process, and after the victory.

I shall praise God when I understand and when I do not understand. I shall trust Him when the answer comes quickly and when I must wait.

Today, I choose praise over complaining, faith over fear, hope over despair, gratitude over murmuring, and obedience over compromise.

    September belongs to God.
    My life belongs to God.
    My family belongs to God.
    My future belongs to God.
And my mouth shall continually praise His holy name!

    In Jesus' mighty name. Amen!

    *Action Steps for today:*
Start September with thanksgiving: Spend time thanking God for bringing you into a brand-new month.

Read Psalm 145: Meditate on God's greatness, goodness, mercy, and faithfulness.

Declare: โ€œMy mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord throughout September!โ€

Write your September expectations: Commit your goals, plans, prayers, and desires to God.

Choose praise daily: Whenever you are tempted to complain, deliberately find something to thank God for.

Speak God's Word: Begin each morning by declaring Scripture over your life and household.

Be a blessing: Encourage, pray for, or help someone who needs hope this month.

Create a praise habit: Set aside time each day for worship and thanksgiving.

Commit the entire month to God: Ask Him to lead every decision, relationship, opportunity, and activity.

    *Prayer:*
    Heavenly Father,
I thank You for bringing me into the month of September. I acknowledge that it is only by Your mercy, grace, and faithfulness that I am alive to see this new month.

Today, I dedicate September to You.

My mouth shall speak Your praise. Let thanksgiving continually rise from my heart and my lips.

Thank You for Augustโ€”for the victories, the lessons, the protection, the provision, the answered prayers, and even the challenges through which You strengthened me.

Lord, go before me throughout September. Order my steps and direct my decisions. Close every door that is not according to Your will and lead me through every door You have ordained for me.

Bless and preserve my family, ministry, work, business, studies, relationships, and every legitimate endeavor.

Give me fresh wisdom, strength, favor, discipline, courage, and spiritual understanding.

Let September be a month of meaningful progress and divine alignment. Let my life produce fruit that glorifies You.

Lord, let my testimony increase. Give me reasons to praise You every day. Even when I am waiting for an answer, teach me to praise You. Even when I do not understand the process, help me to trust Your character.

Let my mouth never become an instrument of destruction, fear, or discouragement. Instead, let my words bring encouragement, faith, truth, grace, and praise.

    I surrender September to You.
    Lead me, Lord.
    Guide me, Lord.
    Strengthen me, Lord.
    Use me, Lord.
And be glorified in my life.

    In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

    *New Month Blessing:*
    Happy New Month!
May September be a month of testimony, divine favor, supernatural preservation, fruitful labor, spiritual growth, restoration, open doors, answered prayers, and undeniable testimonies.

May the Lord go before you and make every crooked path straight.

May His presence accompany you throughout the month. May His wisdom guide you, His grace sustain you, His mercy preserve you, and His favor surround you like a shield.

May your family experience peace and divine protection.

May your life, work, business, ministry become more fruitful and impactful.

May the Lord bless your work, business, studies, and every legitimate endeavor.

May every good seed you have planted begin to produce fruit according to God's perfect timing.

May September bring you closer to God and deeper into His purpose for your life.

    And above everything else:

May your mouth never cease to praise the Lord!
May your heart overflow with thanksgiving!
    May God's Word guide you!
    May His presence preserve you!
May your life become a living testimony of His goodness!

    WELCOME TO SEPTEMBER!

โ€œMY MOUTH SHALL SPEAK THE PRAISE OF THE LORD: AND LET ALL FLESH BLESS HIS HOLY NAME FOR EVER AND EVER.โ€ โ€” PSALM 145:21

September shall be a month of PRAISE, PRESERVATION, PROGRESS, PURPOSE, and TESTIMONY!

I declare: I will enter September with praise, walk through September with faith, and finish September with testimonies!

Good morning beloved and Happy New Month! Welcome to September to remember and do have a blessed day!
    Shalom!

    TOPIC :THE LAW OF HARVEST

    AUTHOR: PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE

MEMORISE: "While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease." Genesis 8:22 (KJV)

    BIBLE READING: 1 CORINTHIANS 15:37-44
37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

    MESSAGE:
The law of harvest is one of the most powerful laws created by God. It states that โ€˜whatever a person sows is what he or she will reapโ€™ (Galatians 6:7), and it is so powerful that God applied it to Himself when He wanted more children.
John 12:24 says a corn of wheat must first be sown into the ground and die before it can bring forth much fruit.
So God sowed His only begotten son (Jesus Christ), so that He might gain many more children, and Jesus would become the firstborn among many brethren (Romans 8:29).

Many years ago, there was a man in Nigeria who would hand out cash to people randomly wherever he went.
People followed him everywhere he went because they knew that he would give them money.
Some people wondered if he was mad, but he wasnโ€™t; he only discovered that the more he gave out money, the more he received.
Anyone who truly discovers the secret of the law of harvest would never be begged to give.

The law of harvest is so powerful that when a person sows a seed of kindness or wickedness, the fellow will harvest what he or she has sown in bountiful folds.
Nobody sows a grain of corn and harvests a grain; if you sow a grain of corn, the least harvest you can expect is a cob of corn with many grains.
Job 4:8 says โ€œโ€ฆthey that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.โ€ People who spend their time scheming to harm others will eventually fall into the traps they created.
Likewise, if you sow kindness, you will reap an abundance of kindness. Hosea 10:12 says that when people sow in righteousness, they will reap in mercy.

Beloved, one thing you must constantly sow as a believer is good works. Dorcas could never have known that the harvest of her good works towards the widows in her community would come in the form of her being resurrected from the dead (Acts 9:36-42) โ€“ that is another mystery about the law of harvest.
Todayโ€™s Bible reading tells us that whatever is sown often returns in another form because God gives the seed a body as He pleases.
Dorcasโ€™ seed of kindness returned in a bigger, better form as Godโ€™s gift of resurrection.
Keep sowing good works, and watch God repay you in ways beyond your wildest imagination.

    KEY POINT:
You will reap what you sow; therefore, sow good works everywhere you go.

BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: EZEKIEL 25-27

HYMN 16: โ€˜TIS SO SWEET TO TRUST IN JESUS
    1. Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, Just to take Him at His Word;
Just to rest upon His promise; Just to know, "Thus saith the Lord."

    CHORUS:
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I 've proved Him o'er and o'er!
    Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust Him more

    2. O how sweet to trust in Jesus,
    Just to trust His cleansing blood;
Just in simple faith to plunge me
    'Neath the healing, cleansing flood!

    3. Yes, 'tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
    Just from sin and self to cease;
    Just from Jesus simply taking
Life and rest, and joy and peace.

    4. I'm so glad Learned to trust Thee, Precious Jesus, Saviour, Friend,
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end. '

HAPPY NEW MONTH TO YOU ALL!.

  • Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    FRIDAY JULY 24, 2O26.
"DON'T LOOSE YOUR COMPASSIONATE EDGE (2)"

'โ€ฆFaithโ€ฆif it does not have works, is dead.โ€™ย  James 2:17 NKJV

MOTHER TERESA said, โ€˜The biggest disease today isnโ€™t leprosy or cancer. Itโ€™s the feeling of being uncared for, unwantedโ€”of being deserted and alone.โ€™ As a result, she spent her life rescuing sick babies and giving dignity to the dying. Asked why she did it, she replied, โ€˜Because Jesus did.โ€™ What a great answer! When simultaneous disasters hit different countries around the world, humanitarian organisations say we suffer from โ€˜donor fatigueโ€™. Letโ€™s add one more: โ€˜compassion failure.โ€™ Philosopher Miguel de Unamuno wrote, โ€˜Warmth, warmth, more warmth! For we are dying of cold and not of darkness. It is not the night that kills, but the frost.โ€™ Think about this: of the 1,189 chapters in the Bible, 250 contain the words of the prophets. Thatโ€™s roughly 25 percent. Half of what they say denounces sin and the other half condemns those who see human suffering and do nothing about it. Yet events that horrified those same prophets take place in our world every day, and weโ€™re immune to them. Like wearing a watch, you get used to it and after a while you donโ€™t even notice it. But the prophets noticed! They never became desensitised to sinโ€”or human suffering. And you mustnโ€™t either. You say, โ€˜But my main focus at the moment is on building up my faith.โ€™ Thatโ€™s a good thing; but never forget that โ€˜Faith by itself, if it does not have works [of compassion], is dead.โ€™

*There are people who sleep walk into disaster, through either arrogance, pride or sheer hubris. It may be that they had recorded successes in previous battles, or have become famous for their accomplishments. They may deem themselves to be invincible, and either declare a war that's totally unnecessary, or inject themselves into other people's battles. In the end, they become the victims of their ego and exaggerated sense of power and importance.*

*This is what happened to the kings of the nations on the east of River Jordan. The children of Israel were on a journey ordered by the Almighty God. They were heading to the land of Canaan, in fulfilment of the promise God made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Their land was not part of Canaan, and therefore, was not intended to be inherited by the Israelites. The inheritance of the Israelites was to be solely Canaan, the land flowing with milk and honey. But on their way, the Israelites encountered nations that had heard about the supernatural work of God in bringing them out of Egypt. Although the Israelites did not declare war against them, these nations, some out of unfounded fear of losing their territory, and others out of envy and hatred against this nation that had a God that can subdue, humble and defeat Egypt, the great world power of the time, took it on themselves to stop Israel from progressing towards their land of promise. One of such kings was Sihon, king of the Amorites, whose nation was mainly a lush vegetation sandwiched by rivers and plain land that was a haven for pastoralists and for other forms of agriculture. The other king was Og, king of Bashan, a land of the remnants of the giants, with similar topography as the land of the Amorites. When they rose against the Israelites, they were roundly defeated, their kingdoms destroyed and their land confiscated by Moses. He subsequently allocated the land to two and half tribes of Israel, which desired to settle there because it was suitable for their vocation as pastoralists. Had those nations stayed out of the way of the Israelites, they would have remained in their land.*

*We must be wise and not take on battles that are not ours, whether out of sympathy with other people or to prove that we are powerful. As believers, we have more than enough battles against principalities and powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places, against sin and Satan. The armour Christ has given us is intended to defeat these adversaries. It is not to be wasted on self-imposed battles that do not benefit the kingdom of God. Those who engage in the wrong battles suffer great loss, and live to regret it for the rest of their lives. Let us focus on the assignment Christ has given us, namely, taking the gospel to the world of sinners, and endeavouring to bring as many as are willing, into the kingdom of God.*

An extract from _Merriam Webster_ dictionary goes thus: *"Something is said to be 'in full' when it has come to the highest or the fullest state of degree, when it is at the uttermost extent or when it is complete, especially in details, number, or duration."*

The fool in full is the greatest fool that will ever live on earth. He breathes in the air made by God, cultivates the soil created by God, and eats out of the produce thereof, lives in the world God created and enjoys the gift of life given by God, to mention a few; and yet, turns around to say "there is no God."

The fool deliberately denies the existence of God despite the many proofs of God's existence. He sees the sun, the moon, the stars, the seas and the uncountable creatures in it, but never pauses to ask: *"Who made the world?"* The things he sees tell him there is God, but in his heart, he refuses to give Him the glory.

There is, however, another fool who accepts there is God but refuses to accept His gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. This category of fools claim they can worship the Living God the way they like. They corrupt the way of worshipping Him; worshipping idols, the work of their hands. The fool can never do what is good before God.

*You should not be a fool. Believe in the only true God and in Jesus Christ, whom He has sent. Turn away from all corrupt and abominable thoughts and actions. Then you will be saved from the foolishness of this world.*

    *REHEARSAL OF GOD'S FAITHFULNESS*

    *TEXT:* JOSHUA 12:1-6.

1.Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:
    2ย Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;
3ย And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to Bethjeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdothpisgah:
4ย And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
5ย And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
6ย Them did Moses the servant of theย LORDย and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of theย LORDย gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh.

*Timeless Truth:*_"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits"_ (Psalm 103:2).

    *INTRODUCTION*

From creation, God has been engaged in doing great and new wonders. Some are penned down in the Bible while there are many more that have been experienced by individuals, families, communities and nations since creation of man. The fact that God is immutable guarantees that those miracles can be repeated and increased in greatness and number. One of the greatest ways to strengthen faith is to deliberately rehearse God's faithfulness and meditate on those past wonders of God. Throughout Scripture, God often instructed His people to remember His mighty acts so that they would trust Him for future victories. Israel's conquest of the Amorites under Sihon and the later record of those victories in Joshua remind us that God's past interventions are powerful testimonies of His unfailing covenant. Every believer should cultivate the habit of recalling God's goodness instead of dwelling on past fears or failures. As we recount His faithfulness, our confidence in His promises grows.

    *1.Arrogant Courting of Battles*

Israel peacefully requested passage through the land of Sihon, king of the Amorites, but Sihon arrogantly rejected the request and chose war instead (Numbers 21:21โ€“25). It is the norm in military warfare that you don't fight those who come and prefer peace to war. The worst is to lead them as captives. Sihon had taken pride in defeating Moab and taking her possessions (Numbers 21:26-2). Their victory over Moab was celebrated as it became a song in the land. He was optimistic and emboldened that he could repeat the same feat against Israel. However, he was thoughtless and proud. His pride blinded him to the fact that he was fighting against God's covenant people. It is dangerous and risky to fight against the covenant people of God. The battle ended in complete defeat of Sihon because no human strength can prevail against God's purpose.
    b. Believers have the domineering power of Jesus Christ to crush every power of the adversaries. However, this is not a license for believers to arrogantly court and tempt the people of darkness to unnecessary warfare. When Herod wanted Jesus to perform some miracles for a show of power, Jesus declined because it was unnecessary (Luke 23:8). When Satan tempted Jesus to jump down from the mountain, Jesus also declined because it was an unnecessary show of power. Believers should avoid unnecessary boasting and fight in the name of the Lord that is borne out of arrogance or pride. Believers should never fear opposition, for God remains the Defender of those who trust Him. At the same time, we must guard against pride, remembering that arrogance always invites destruction.

    *Question*

Am I trusting God's strength in life's battles, or am I relying on human confidence and pride?

    *2. Appreciative Counting of Blessings*

Joshua carefully recorded the kings and their land, whom God had delivered into Israel's hands (Joshua 12:1โ€“5). These verses are more than historical recordsโ€”they are memorials of divine faithfulness. God's people are encouraged to remember every victory and every answered prayer. Gratitude protects the heart from discouragement and unbelief. When we regularly count our blessings, we discover that God's mercies greatly outweigh our trials. Thanksgiving also prepares us to receive greater blessings from the Lord. As the psalmist puts it, *"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits."* This will take a diligent and deliberate effort like Joshua did when he wrote down and recalled the good wonders of God to himself and to the whole Israel.

    *Question*

How often do I deliberately remember and thank God for His past faithfulness in my life?

*3. Additions to Covenant for the Beloved*

    a. The conquered territories were not part of the promised Canaan inheritance. But Sihon and Og lost their land through their pride and arrogance and those blessings were taken from them and added to the children of Israel (Joshua 12:6).
After getting victory, Moses assigned the conquered territory to the tribes of Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh as their inheritance. God's faithfulness extends beyond victory in battle to the fulfillment of His covenant promises.
    b. There are several cases where God took away the assigned blessing of the arrogant and added them to the portion of the godly. Reuben and Esau were supposed to have the double blessings of their first born, but they both lost them through carelessness and profanity. Their blessings were added to Judah and Jacob respectively. Jesus warned the Ephesian Church of loss of ministry if they didn't repent from the loss of their first love and the immoral practices of the Nicolaitans(Revelation 2:5). He also warned the Pastor of Philadelphia that if he was not watchful, his crown would be taken from him and be given or added to another person.
*"Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown"* (Revelation 3:11). Remember, King Saul lost his crown, which was supposed to be generational, to David. The same with Esau and none of them could get his back. Fight and be watchful to retain and enjoy all your blessings and inheritance assigned to you by God.

    *Question*

Am I very watchful and prayerful in ensuring that my blessings and inheritance are not taken from me and transferred to another person?

    *Prayer Points*

1.Heavenly Father, help me always remember and celebrate Your faithfulness in every season of my life .
2.Lord, deliver me from every form of pride, boasting and unnecessary show of power and grant me victory over every battle confronting my faith .
3.Give me a grateful heart that continually counts Your blessings instead of focusing on life's difficulties.
4.Give Your children grace to be watchful and prayerful and don't allow anyone to take their assigned blessings and inheritance .

    2. Morning Prayer for today.

    MP.i. Morning Prayer

A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps. โค Proverbs 16:9

To pray is to let go and let God take over. โค Philip Yancey

O God, our Father, we, Your children, wait for Your blessing before we go out to the work and care of this new day. We thank You for the blessings You gave us in our sleep. You have renewed our strength and restored what yesterdayโ€™s toil took from us. We are strong this morning and ready for another dayโ€™s work because of the blessings You gave us in our sleep.

We consecrate our lives to You for this new day. Take us and use us as You will. We donโ€™t want to make our own plans, for we are too short-sighted and would only plan for present comfort or earthly success. We would rather have You reveal Your plan for our day. It may not be easy, but we know it is wiser and better than our way could ever be, for You see the end from the beginning, and You choose the best things for us. We lay our plans at Your feet and ask You to use them if they are the best, but if not, to set them aside so that Your plan for the day may work unhindered in us.

We pray for our neighbors. Some of them are sick. Remember them and grant them healing and restoration. Send them Your comfort in their pain, and let them be richly blessed by the experiences they are going through. Some of our neighbors have gone through sorrows. Heal their broken hearts and give them comfort that will make them stronger to bear their grief, and help them find the blessings You have hidden in their sorrow.

Receive us now into Your care for this day; bless us, keep us, and use us as You will. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

*1.Arrogant Courting of Battles* Israel peacefully requested passage through the land of Sihon, king of the Amorites, but Sihon arrogantly rejected the request and chose war instead (Numbers 21:21โ€“25). *Question* Am I trusting God's strength in life's battles, or am I relying on human confidence and pride? *2. Appreciative Counting of Blessings* Joshua carefully recorded the kings and their land, whom God had delivered into Israel's hands (Joshua 12:1โ€“5). *Question* How often do I deliberately remember and thank God for His past faithfulness in my life? *3. Additions to Covenant for the Beloved* a. *Question* Am I very watchful and prayerful in ensuring that my blessings and inheritance are not taken from me and transferred to another person? *Prayer Points* 1.Heavenly Father, help me always remember and celebrate Your faithfulness in every season of my life ๐Ÿ™. 2.Lord, deliver me from every form of pride, boasting and unnecessary show of power and grant me victory over every battle confronting my faith ๐Ÿ™. 3.Give me a grateful heart that continually counts Your blessings instead of focusing on life's difficulties. 4.Give Your children grace to be watchful and prayerful and don't allow anyone to take their assigned blessings and inheritance ๐Ÿ™. *HYMN:* Count Your Blessings *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* EXODUS 26-29. 2. Morning Prayer for today. MP.i. Morning Prayer A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps. โค Proverbs 16:9 To pray is to let go and let God take over. โค Philip Yancey O God, our Father, we, Your children, wait for Your blessing before we go out to the work and care of this new day. Amen. https://www.youdevotion.com/daily-prayer/miller/19/morning #taptapstudio #youdevotion.

    โ€œA New Month, A New Beginningโ€

    Lamentations 3:22โ€“23

โ€œBecause of the Lordโ€™s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.โ€

Welcome to a new month! September is not just another month on the calendarโ€”it is another opportunity to walk with God, grow in faith and pursue the purpose He has placed in your life.

You may have entered this month with unfinished plans, unanswered prayers or challenges from the past. But remember: God's faithfulness did not end yesterday. His mercy has followed you into this new month.

Do not allow the disappointments of the past to control your expectations for the future. God is still working. The door that did not open yesterday does not mean that God has forgotten you. His timing is perfect.

As you begin this month, choose faith over fear, prayer over worry and obedience over uncertainty.

    Morning Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of a new month. Thank You for preserving my life and giving me another opportunity to fulfill Your purpose. I surrender this month of September into Your hands. Guide my decisions, bless the work of my hands, open the right doors and give me wisdom for every opportunity. Remove fear, doubt and discouragement from my heart. Let Your mercy, favour and faithfulness follow me throughout this month. May September be filled with purpose, peace, progress and testimonies. In Jesusโ€™ name, Amen.

    Todayโ€™s Declaration

โ€œI enter this new month with faith. God goes before me, His mercy is upon me and His purpose for my life will prevail.โ€

Have a blessed and fruitful September!

    Keep Focus!
"Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions." Proverbs 4:25 (MSG)

Keep focus! Donโ€™t be distracted! Faith without focus is frustration. Prayer without focus is paralysis. Fasting without focus is failure.

At the root of every advancement is focus. It is focus that will direct your talent and your gifts. It is your level of focus that will determine your level of placement as no great destiny emerges without focus. Focus means to be totally committed or absorbed in a specific assignment. It is the ability to gaze unwaveringly into every issue at hand without distractions. Focus does not come naturally, yet it is essential for anyone who wants to fulfill his or her life assignment. Talent with focus directs you and this has the potential to take you far. Focus creates the platform for manifestation and manifestation makes you a centre of attraction which compels attention in your favour. Happy new month. This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: โ€œScattered energy does nothing. Focused energy creates results.โ€
Prayer: Everlasting Father, thank You for the gift of work and the skills You have given me. I declare total quietness from any noise that may come around me or inside my head. I receive a calm spirit and a clear mind to handle every task in front of me. Help me Lord to let go of worries and stop my attention from wandering. Give me the self-control and strength to finish whatever I start in Jesus' name.
