PROVERB OF THE DAY

(Proverbs 30)

1. The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, his utterance. This man declared to Ithiel—to Ithiel and Ucal:

2 . Surely I am more stupid than any man,
And do not have the understanding of a man.

3. I neither learned wisdom
Nor have knowledge of the Holy One.

4. Who has ascended into heaven, or descended?
Who has gathered the wind in His fists?
Who has bound the waters in a garment?
Who has established all the ends of the earth?
What is His name, and what is His Son’s name,
If you know?

5. Every word of God is pure;
He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.

6. Do not add to His words,
Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.

7. Two things I request of You
(Deprive me not before I die):

8. Remove falsehood and lies far from me;
Give me neither poverty nor riches—
Feed me with the food allotted to me;

9. Lest I be full and deny You,
And say, “Who is the LORD?”
Or lest I be poor and steal,
And profane the name of my God.

10. Do not malign a servant to his master,
Lest he curse you, and you be found guilty.

11. There is a generation that curses its father,
And does not bless its mother.

12. There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes,
Yet is not washed from its filthiness.

13. There is a generation—oh, how lofty are their eyes!
And their eyelids are lifted up.

14. There is a generation whose teeth are like swords,
And whose fangs are like knives,
To devour the poor from off the earth,
And the needy from among men.

15. The leech has two daughters—
Give and Give!

There are three things that are never satisfied,
Four never say, “Enough!”:

16. The grave,
The barren womb,
The earth that is not satisfied with water—
And the fire never says, “Enough!”

17. The eye that
mocks his father,
And scorns obedience to his mother,
The ravens of the valley will pick it out,
And the young eagles will eat it.

18. There are three things which. are too wonderful for me,
Yes, four which I do not understand:

19. The way of an eagle in the air,
The way of a serpent on a rock,
The way of a ship in the midst of the sea,
And the way of a man with a virgin.

20. This is the way of an adulterous woman:
She eats and wipes her mouth,
And says, “I have done no wickedness.”

21. For three things the earth is perturbed,
Yes, for four it cannot bear up:

22. For a servant when he reigns,
A fool when he is filled with food,

23. A hateful woman
when she is married,
And a maidservant who succeeds her mistress.

24. There are four things which are little on the earth,
But they are exceedingly wise:

25. The ants are a people not strong,
Yet they prepare their food in the summer;

26. The rock badgers are a feeble folk, Yet they
make their homes in the crags;

27. The locusts have no king,
Yet they all advance in ranks;

28. The spider
skillfully grasps with its hands,
And it is in kings’ palaces.

29. There are three things which are majestic in pace,
Yes, four which are stately in walk:

30. A lion, which is mighty among beasts
And does not turn away from any;

31 A greyhound,
A male goat also,
And a king whose troops
are with him.

32. If you have been foolish in exalting yourself,
Or if you have devised evil, put your hand on your mouth.

33. For as the churning of milk produces butter,
And wringing the nose produces blood,So the

TITLE: "RENEWED STRENGTH: RUN YOUR RACE WITHOUT GIVING UP"

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S)

Isaiah 40:29–31 (KJV) "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

Hebrews 12:1 (KJV) "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us."

QUOTE TO REFLECT ON

“When your strength is exhausted, God's strength can carry you forward.”

DAY'S REFLECTION

Life is a journey, and every journey has moments of strength as well as moments of weariness. There are times when responsibilities become heavy, prayers seem delayed, and the road ahead appears longer than expected. Isaiah reminds us that God does not ignore the weary: “He giveth power to the faint.”

The word “faint” describes someone who is weak, exhausted, or without strength. God promises to give power to such people. He does not require us to pretend that we are always strong. Instead, He invites us to depend on His strength when ours is insufficient.

Isaiah 40:31 says, “they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength.” To wait upon the LORD is not passive laziness. It means trusting God, remaining faithful, praying, obeying His Word, and patiently depending on His timing. Renew means to receive fresh strength for the journey.

The Scripture uses the picture of an eagle: “they shall mount up with wings as eagles.” An eagle can rise above powerful winds rather than being destroyed by them. Likewise, God can give His people strength to rise above circumstances that would otherwise overwhelm them.

But Isaiah also says, “they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Not every season requires us to fly. Sometimes we run; sometimes we simply walk. The important thing is to keep moving with God.

Hebrews 12:1 compares the Christian life to a race. It tells us to “lay aside every weight” and the sin that can easily hinder us. A weight may be anything that unnecessarily slows our spiritual progress—wrong priorities, bitterness, distractions, unhealthy attachments, or attitudes that keep us from God's purpose.

The instruction is clear: “let us run with patience the race that is set before us.” Patience means endurance and steadfastness. Life experience teaches us that successful runners do not quit simply because the race becomes difficult. They maintain their focus and continue moving toward the finish line.

Perhaps you are tired today. Perhaps you have been carrying a burden for a long time. Do not interpret your weariness as the end of your journey. Bring your weakness to God. Wait upon Him. Allow Him to renew your strength.

You do not have to finish today's race using yesterday's strength. God has fresh grace and strength for today's journey.

Keep walking. Keep believing. Keep praying. Keep running your race.

Your strength may fail, but God's strength never fails.

LIFE LESSONS (IMPLICATIONS)

1. God gives strength to those who are weary and weak.

2. Waiting on God produces renewed strength and endurance.

4. We must remove unnecessary weights and sins that hinder our progress.

5. Every believer has a race and purpose uniquely set before them.

6. Our strength may be limited, but God's strength is unlimited.

7. We should never allow temporary weariness to make us abandon God's purpose.

Identify one thing weighing you down, surrender it to God, and take one faithful step forward today.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, strengthen me when I am weary and renew my strength as I wait upon You. Help me lay aside every weight and run my race with patience, faith, and endurance. In Jesus' name, Amen.

DECLARATION

The Lord is my strength. I will not faint or give up. My strength is renewed as I wait upon Him. I will rise, run, and walk with endurance, and I will finish the race God has set before me. Amen.

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." — Hebrews 11:1 (NIV)

Faith means trusting God even when you cannot yet see the answer. It is believing that His promises are true, even when your circumstances seem difficult. Sometimes we pray for healing, a breakthrough, a new opportunity, or restoration, but nothing seems to change. Hebrews 11:1 reminds us that faith is choosing to believe that God is working behind the scenes, even when our eyes cannot see it.

God has never failed to keep His promises. His timing is always perfect, and His plans are always for our good. Every delay has a purpose, and every trial can strengthen our faith. Don't give up because your breakthrough may be closer than you think.

The Bible encourages us in 2 Corinthians 5:7"For we live by faith, not by sight."* We are called to trust God's Word instead of our fears or circumstances.

God also promises in Jeremiah 29:11"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."Even when you don't understand what God is doing, you can trust that He is leading you toward His perfect plan.

Finally, remember Isaiah 40:31: "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Today, choose faith over fear. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep moving forward. What God has promised, He is faithful to fulfill. Your season of waiting is not wasted—God is preparing something greater than you can imagine. Trust Him, because what is impossible with man is always possible with God.

Text: Isaiah 40:31

MESSAGE: RENEWED FOR THE RACE
The last days are tiring. Many are weary. But God has not called you to run dry.

1. STRENGTHENING:
Waiting on God is not wasting time. It’s refueling. When you pray, worship, and sit in His Word, He puts new strength in you. Like an eagle, you’ll rise above the storms.

2. ENCOURAGING:
You will NOT faint. You will NOT quit. The same God who sustained you at St. Joseph P.3-P.7 will sustain you at Parents Joy P.1-P.4. He does not grow tired Isaiah 40:28.

3. SANCTIFICATION:
To "wait on the Lord" means to set yourself apart from distractions and fix your eyes on Him Hebrews 12:1-2. Sanctification is choosing His presence over panic, His peace over pressure.

PRAYER:
Father, I wait on You today. Renew my strength. Lift me on eagles’ wings. Help me to run this race and not grow weary, and to walk in holiness until Jesus comes. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

TO THE CHRISTIAN WHO IS READY TO QUIT
Please don't scroll past this. This may be for you.
This is for the Christian who is tired of pretending.

The one who still believes Jesus is Lord, yet secretly wonders, “Why is my heart so cold?”

The one who has prayed thousands of prayers and feels like heaven has been silent.

The one who reads the Bible but struggles to feel anything.

The one who battles temptation, grief, anxiety, disappointment, or loneliness and thinks, “Maybe I'm just a terrible Christian.”

If that's you…

You are not alone.

And more importantly:

Jesus has not abandoned you.

“The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

Notice that Scripture does not say God is only near to the joyful or the victorious.

He is especially near to the brokenhearted.

Even God's greatest servants wanted to quit
Sometimes we imagine that real Christians never struggle.

The Bible tells a very different story.

David cried until his tears became his food.

“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God.” — Psalm 42:11

Elijah called down fire from heaven, yet afterward he became so discouraged that he asked God to let him die (1 Kings 19). God didn't rebuke him first—He gave him rest, food, and His gentle presence.

Jeremiah was called the weeping prophet.

Paul admitted he was under such great pressure that he despaired of life itself.

The strongest believers are not those who never struggle.

They are the ones who keep returning to Christ.

Maybe you're exhausted from trying to be “good enough”
Many Christians live as though God's love depends on today's performance.

We fail.

We feel ashamed.

We hide.

We try harder.

We fail again.

But listen to the invitation of Jesus:

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Jesus did not say:

Come when you've fixed yourself.

He said:

Come while you're weary.

That changes everything.

God is not asking you to carry yourself
Some of you are carrying burdens you were never meant to carry.

The grief of losing someone you love.

Financial pressure.

Health problems.

Depression.

Spiritual dryness.

Regret over past sins.

Fear about the future.

Hear the Word of God:

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7

Not some of it.

All of it.

Every fear.

Every question.

Every sleepless night.

Every tear you've cried when nobody else knew.

When you feel like God is far away
Feelings can be powerful.

But they are not always truthful.

God's promise is greater than our emotions.

“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” — Hebrews 13:5

You may not feel His presence.

You may not understand His timing.

But His promise has not changed.

He is faithful even when our feelings rise and fall.

Your failures do not have the final word
Perhaps you've fallen into the same sin again.

Perhaps you've made promises to God that you've broken.

Perhaps you're ashamed.

Listen carefully.

Satan says, “Hide from God.”

Jesus says, “Come to Me.”

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9

The cross is not permission to continue in sin.

The cross is proof that forgiveness is available for the repentant heart.

There is mercy for those who return.

Don't confuse a difficult season with a defeated life
Winter is not the end of the tree.

Night is not the end of the day.

Friday was not the end of Jesus.

Resurrection came.

Your story is still being written by God.

“Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5

Morning does come.

Sometimes slowly.

But it comes.

When your faith feels like a tiny ember
Maybe you used to burn with passion.

Now you barely have enough strength to whisper a prayer.

Take hope from this beautiful promise:

“A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out.” — Isaiah 42:3

Jesus specializes in restoring smoldering hearts.

He does not crush weak believers.

He restores them.

If today is all you have…
Then don't worry about surviving the next ten years.

Walk with Jesus today.

If you can't run…

Walk.

If you can't walk…

Stand.

If you can't stand…

Kneel.

If all you can pray is one sentence, let it be:

“Jesus, hold on to me because I'm struggling to hold on to You.”

That prayer is precious to God.

God's grace is greater than your weakness
Paul pleaded for his hardship to be removed.

God answered him with these words:

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

Notice this:

God did not say, “Your strength is enough.”

He said, “My grace is enough.”

Your weakness is not the end of God's work.

It is often where His power becomes most visible.

Hold tightly to these promises
“The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.” — Lamentations 3:22–23

“Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles.” — Isaiah 40:31

“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you… Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” — John 14:27

“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6

God finishes what He starts.

He has not given up on you.

A Prayer for Every Weary Christian
Heavenly Father,

I pray for every brother and sister in Christ who is reading this with tears in their eyes.

Some are exhausted.

Some are grieving.

Some feel spiritually numb.

Some are secretly ready to walk away from the faith.

Lord Jesus, draw near to them exactly as You promised. Let the brokenhearted feel Your presence. Replace despair with hope, shame with forgiveness, fear with peace, and weariness with renewed strength.

Holy Spirit, breathe fresh life into hearts that have grown cold. Restore the joy of salvation. Give us a hunger for Your Word, a love for prayer, and the courage to keep following Jesus one day at a time.

Teach us to trust Your promises more than our feelings.

Keep our eyes fixed upon Christ until the day we see Him face to face.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

BEFORE YOU QUIT… REMEMBER THIS
God still loves you.

Christ still intercedes for you.

The Holy Spirit has not stopped working in you.

Your story is not over.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

DON'T QUIT. KEEP LOOKING TO JESUS.
He is still the Good Shepherd.
He is still the Savior.
He is still enough.

I can totally relate to those who are hurting, angry, frustrated towards God
Especially after losing someone precious to death, despite you prayed your heart out and yet if feels like your prayers fell on deaf ears up there!

I really was ready to walk away from God myself last year.

But after much soul searching. No matter what. I just can't live without
Father Jehovah God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit! Plus I don't want the
Devil the Satisfaction of quitting on God.

I have permanently decided to stick with God & Jesus Christ no matter
what happens in my life. Jesus is the anchor of my heart and soul, and my
true peace!

Put your hope in God.” — Psalm 42:11 Elijah called down fire from heaven, yet afterward he became so discouraged that he asked God to let him die (1 Kings 19). God didn't rebuke him first—He gave him rest, food, and His gentle presence. Jeremiah was called the weeping prophet. Paul admitted he was under such great pressure that he despaired of life itself. The strongest believers are not those who never struggle. They are the ones who keep returning to Christ. Maybe you're exhausted from trying to be “good enough” Many Christians live as though God's love depends on today's performance. We fail. We feel ashamed. We hide. We try harder. We fail again. But listen to the invitation of Jesus: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 Jesus did not say: Come when you've fixed yourself. He said: Come while you're weary. That changes everything. God is not asking you to carry yourself Some of you are carrying burdens you were never meant to carry. The grief of losing someone you love. Financial pressure. Health problems. Depression. Spiritual dryness. Regret over past sins. Fear about the future. Hear the Word of God: “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7 Not some of it. All of it. Every fear. Every question. Every sleepless night. Every tear you've cried when nobody else knew. When you feel like God is far away Feelings can be powerful. But they are not always truthful. God's promise is greater than our emotions. “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” — Hebrews 13:5 You may not feel His presence. You may not understand His timing. But His promise has not changed. He is faithful even when our feelings rise and fall. Your failures do not have the final word Perhaps you've fallen into the same sin again. Perhaps you've made promises to God that you've broken. Perhaps you're ashamed. Listen carefully. Satan says, “Hide from God.” Jesus says, “Come to Me.” “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9 The cross is not permission to continue in sin. The cross is proof that forgiveness is available for the repentant heart. There is mercy for those who return. Don't confuse a difficult season with a defeated life Winter is not the end of the tree. Night is not the end of the day. Friday was not the end of Jesus. Resurrection came. Your story is still being written by God. “Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5 Morning does come. Sometimes slowly. But it comes. When your faith feels like a tiny ember Maybe you used to burn with passion. Now you barely have enough strength to whisper a prayer. Take hope from this beautiful promise: “A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out.” — Isaiah 42:3 Jesus specializes in restoring smoldering hearts. He does not crush weak believers. He restores them. If today is all you have… Then don't worry about surviving the next ten years. Walk with Jesus today. If you can't run… Walk. If you can't walk… Stand. If you can't stand… Kneel. If all you can pray is one sentence, let it be: “Jesus, hold on to me because I'm struggling to hold on to You.” That prayer is precious to God. God's grace is greater than your weakness Paul pleaded for his hardship to be removed. God answered him with these words: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 Notice this: God did not say, “Your strength is enough.” He said, “My grace is enough.” Your weakness is not the end of God's work. It is often where His power becomes most visible. Hold tightly to these promises “The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.” — Lamentations 3:22–23 “Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles.” — Isaiah 40:31 “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you… Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” — John 14:27 “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6 God finishes what He starts. He has not given up on you. 🙏 A Prayer for Every Weary Christian Heavenly Father, I pray for every brother and sister in Christ who is reading this with tears in their eyes. Some are exhausted. Some are grieving. Some feel spiritually numb. Some are secretly ready to walk away from the faith. Lord Jesus, draw near to them exactly as You promised. Let the brokenhearted feel Your presence. Replace despair with hope, shame with forgiveness, fear with peace, and weariness with renewed strength. Holy Spirit, breathe fresh life into hearts that have grown cold. Restore the joy of salvation. Give us a hunger for Your Word, a love for prayer, and the courage to keep following Jesus one day at a time. Teach us to trust Your promises more than our feelings. Keep our eyes fixed upon Christ until the day we see Him face to face. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen. ❤️ BEFORE YOU QUIT… REMEMBER THIS God still loves you. Christ still intercedes for you. The Holy Spirit has not stopped working in you. He is still enough. ======================================================================= I can totally relate to those who are hurting, angry, frustrated towards God Especially after losing someone precious to death, despite you prayed your heart out and yet if feels like your prayers fell on deaf ears up there! I really was ready to walk away from God myself last year. But after much soul searching. No matter what. I just can't live without Father Jehovah God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit! Plus I don't want the Devil the Satisfaction of quitting on God. I have permanently decided to stick with God & Jesus Christ no matter what happens in my life.
