White No error accepted by the Christian world strikes more boldly against the authority of Heaven, none is more directly opposed to the dictates of reason, none is more pernicious in its results, than the modern doctrine, so rapidly gaining ground, that God’s law is no longer binding upon men. Every nation has its laws, which command respect and obedience; no government could exist without them; and can it be conceived that the Creator of the heavens and the earth has no law to govern the beings He has made? Suppose that prominent ministers were publicly to teach that the statutes which govern their land and protect the rights of its citizens were not obligatory—that they restricted the liberties of the people, and therefore ought not to be obeyed; how long would such men be tolerated in the pulpit? But is it a graver offense to disregard the laws of states and nations than to trample upon those divine precepts which are the foundation of all government? GC 584.1 Wherever the divine precepts are rejected, sin ceases to appear sinful or righteousness desirable. Those who refuse to submit to the government of God are wholly unfitted to govern themselves. GC 584.3

Need to know. Signs You Have an Octopus Spirit! What is the Octopus Spirit? This is a spirit that causes you to feel like your mind is wrapped, squeezed, and pulled in many directions at once. It clouds your thinking, steals your peace, and tries to choke out your spiritual life with lies that sound like your own voice. The Bible does not use the word ‘octopus’ but it does describe this type of mental attack and calls us to take every thought captive to obey Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:4-5) So here are 8 points, or ‘tentacles,’ that can show if you are being oppressed by this spirit. Tentacle #1: You have intrusive thoughts that you did not invite. For example: - You are worship and a blasphemous thought flashes in. - You are driving and a thought tells you to hurt yourself. - You are holding your child and a dark image appears. You feel sick inside and wonder what is wrong with you. James 1:14 shows the enemies entices and whispers. You are not the thoughts you did not invite. Tentacle #2: Every thought turns hopeless. You make one small mistake and your mind jumps to ‘it is over.’ You have one bad day and feel, ‘this is who I am forever.’ If your thoughts keep ending in, ‘there is no point,’ that is a sign of mental oppression. Tentacle #3: You have mental loops that don’t stop. - You replay old conversations nonstop. - You reheard disasters that have not happened. - You wake up at night and relive things you cannot change. You are not processing. You are in torment. The octopus spirit keeps your mind spinning without peace. Tentacle #4: Your thoughts become your identity. You used to think, ‘I am struggling with fear.’ Now you say, ‘I am a fearful person.’ You used to think, ‘I am tempted by lust.’ Now you call yourself a lustful person. The Bible tells you to take thoughts captive, not to wear them as your name. When a repeated thought becomes how you describe yourself, it turns into a stronghold. Tentacle #5: Prayer feels heavy and numbing feels easy. The Bible feels boring, worship feels hollow, and prayer feels dry and heavy. But scrolling, eating, drinking, and binge watching feel effortless. This can be spiritual warfare that pulls you away from what nourishes your spirit and drags you toward what only numbs you. Tentacle #6: You hide and isolate. You start thinking things like: - ‘Do not tell anyone.’ - ‘They will judge me.’ - ‘No one will understand.’ - ‘Handle your problems alone.’ This spirit thrives in secrecy and isolation. The Bible calls us to confess our sins to one another and pray for each other to be healed. (James 5:16) When you think your thoughts into the light, the grip of this spirit begins to loosen. Tentacle #7: You live in mental fog and double mindedness. You feel constant fog in your mind and struggle to focus, pray, and make decisions. Some days you feel close to God, but other days you feel numb and distant. That fog is not from your Father. It is the enemy clouding the water so you cannot see clearly. Tentacle #8: You start giving yourself permission to sin. At first the voice in your head tempts you. Then it starts to sound like permission. - ‘You deserve it.’ - ‘Just do it this once.’ - ‘God will understand.’ - ‘It’s not that serious.’ When your own thoughts start writing permission slips and signing God’s name on them, this is a sign that this spirit is at work. If you see these signs in your life, it does not mean things are hopeless. It means the Holy Spirit is bringing this into the light so Jesus can set you free. Here is what to do: - Come to Jesus and confess that your mind belongs to Him. - Identify the lies and name them out loud as lies. - Replace lies with the truth of Scripture. - Repent of any open doors and invite Jesus to close them. - In the name of Jesus, command every spirit tied to these lies to leave. - Refuse isolation and share honestly with a trusted, mature believer. - Begin to renew your mind daily in the word of God. You do not have to live with this forever. In Christ there is real freedom.

Act 17:28 KJV* When I saw this for the first time I was so excited, and I was happy to share it with the whole world, because this is truth. Truth is that which is spiritual and cannot change. As a Christian you must understand that Christ is not just a person, he's an environment, just like the garden of Eden, that is why the apostle Paul said if any man be *IN* Christ he is a new creation old things are passed away and the new has come *2 Corinthians 5:17* Believer are in the world but, are not of the world, you hail from the kingdom of heaven, that's the more reason your thinking should be different from the rest of the world, in Christ where you belong we see things differently, your reasoning should be different, no wonder the bible said: but you, you have the mind of Christ. *1 Corinthians 2:16.* You ought to understand how Christ reasons, in any situation where you find yourself, ask yourself if Jesus finds himself in this same situation what is he going to do. From the scripture we understand that Jesus doesn't play with words, we see in so many occasions how he talked his way out of many situation. Paul said in him we live(dwell always), in him we move and have our being. Powerful! you see why what affect others should not be seen affecting you, because you live in another kingdom, even though your physical body is moving in the physical realm, he said there is an atmosphere you carry around, don't you know your body is the temple of the holy ghost?, finally the apostle paul said: in him we have our being, that means our life comes from him. No wonder the Bible also said: if the Spirit of him that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you, he that raised Christ from the dead will quicken your mortal body, your life as a Christian is not dependent on what you eat in the flesh, but where you live in the spirit, that's why you shouldn't be sick, or affected by disease and infirmity of any kind, because the holy ghost is in you, he is called the Spirit of perfection, he will perfect your body!. *Prayer: marvelous father, thank you for your word that has become to me a living word, I understand today through your word that I carry your presence everywhere I go, sickness, disease, infirmity and the situation others are going through has no place in me, because I hail from Christ, from this day forward I command your light to shine in my path always. WHY WE DON'T PUT AN ALTAR ON AN ALTAR: A Prophetic Revelation on Spiritual Identity. In many cultures across the world, a common weapon of spiritual and psychological warfare involves targeting a person's identity. Malicious individuals, envious colleagues, or hidden enemies often take a person’s photograph, name, or reputation, and subject it to dark altars, malicious gatherings, or toxic rituals. The goal is simple: to suppress, manipulate, or completely destroy the victim's destiny. When people find out their identity is being targeted, fear usually sets in. But today, I want to introduce a universal spiritual law and a proverb that God gave me to break this fear once and for all: "We don't put an altar on an altar". "THE ANATOMY OF AN ALTAR To understand this proverb, we must understand what an altar is. An altar is not just a physical table or a heap of stones; it is a legal landing pad where the spiritual realm interfaces with the physical realm. It is a place of covenants, commitments, and spiritual authority. When a malicious force tries to target your identity, they believe they are subjecting your life to the authority of their domain. YOU ARE THE ALTAR Here is the heavy spiritual mystery they fail to realize: As a believer, you are not an empty vessel. The Apostle Paul reminds us in (1 Corinthians 6:19) that our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit. If your body is a temple, it means there is an active, burning altar of the Living God residing inside your spirit. You are a moving, living altar. Your identity carries the spiritual frequency, presence, and fire of the God you serve. THE CLASH OF FOUNDATIONS Therefore, when an enemy targets you, they are literally trying to place an altar on top of an altar. In the realm of the spirit, this creates a violent clash of legalities. A lower, human-made, or demonic foundation cannot sit on top of or overwrite a supreme, divine foundation. You cannot place a counterfeit authority over the original authority of God. Instead of their dark setups swallowing up your destiny, your presence as a divine altar enters their space as a disruptive force. THE EXAMPLE OF DAGON We see this law perfectly demonstrated in (1 Samuel 5). When the Philistines captured the Ark of God, they foolishly brought it into the temple of their god, Dagon, and set it right next to him. They tried to place the supreme altar of Jehovah within the domain of a lesser deity. What happened? The next morning, Dagon was found fallen face down on the ground before the Ark. They stood him up again, and by the next day, Dagon had fallen again—this time with his head and hands broken off. A PROPHETIC DECLARATION If you are reading this today, let this proverb give you absolute confidence. You are protected by a permanent spiritual covenant. If they have targeted your life in any hidden room to manipulate your marriage, finances, or health, do not panic. Because you are an altar, their opposition has just invited a consuming fire into its own space. The attack will backfire, the altars of darkness will shatter, and your victory is guaranteed. Remember this truth, declare it over your life, and let the world know: We don't put an altar on an altar. THE "CLASH OF ALTARS" PROPHETIC PRAYER BY PROPHET LORDSON ASAMOAH ( Lordson DeLordson). ❤️THE BIBLICAL VIEW OF INSPIRATION, THE EXTENT OF INSPIRATION. ❤️ THE BIBLICAL VIEW OF INSPIRATION. The biblical view of inspiration is called the Dynamic View. The Scriptures are the result of a divine-human relationship, as set forth in Hebrews 1:1. "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets." God did the speaking, but He did it through the prophets or through His instruments. Inspiration is a supernatural work of God in man, involving both divine and human elements, which produced an infallible record of the divine revelation. The Dynamic View holds all the elements together. God did the speaking, but He did it through His chosen vessels and their personalities. Their individualism is as clearly seen as their inspiration. The Holy Spirit moved on the writers in a dynamic way in harmony with their personalities but not completely suppressing them. God created men as it pleased Him, each man having traits of his own; and through these vessels He spoke His Word, using their lips, their minds, their gifts, their temperaments, and their personalities. Then, He breathed out to them His infallible Word. Another example is Nehemiah 9:30. "Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testifiedst against them by thy Spirit in thy prophets." Nehemiah was saying that God spoke out against Israel in judgment by His Spirit in the prophets. In conclusion to this view it should be noted that the inspired Word, the Bible, can be compared to the incarnate Word, Jesus. In the incarnation of Christ the divine and human elements are blended; in the inspiration and the writing of Scripture the divine and human elements also come together into one. ❤️ THE EXTENT OF INSPIRATION. In speaking of the extent of inspiration, this does not refer to how much of the Bible is inspired, because there are no degrees of inspiration. It is all inspired! The genealogy of chapter one of Matthew is as inspired as the account of Jesus' birth in chapter two. Chapter one shows Him to be a son of Abraham coming through the line of David; in chapter two, the birth narrative, He is seen to be the Son of God. Some believe that only the thoughts were inspired, and that God left the writers of Scripture completely free to choose their own words, their own ideas, and their own expressions. This view is incorrect because it is unrealistic. God reveals His thoughts to man through the media of words, just as man does in communicating with others. If God wished to convey His will and His Word to man in such a way that it could not be twisted and misinterpreted, He would have to inspire the very words. If He merely inspires thoughts, the writers would have to choose what they would say. The Scriptural view is the plenary verbal inspiration view. The term "plenary" means full, complete, entire, or absolute. This means that the entire Scriptures are inspired, not just a part; all Scripture is God-breathed (II Timothy 3:16). "Verbal" means that which is expressed in words; therefore, verbal inspiration means that God inspired the very words of the Bible and not merely the thoughts. Thus, plenary verbal inspiration means that the Scriptures in their entirety are the words of God; therefore, they are infallible and inerrant in the original autographs or manuscripts. God said to Jeremiah, "Go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.... I have put my words in thy mouth" (Jeremiah 1:7-9). He said the same thing to Moses in Exodus 4:10-12, "Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say." In Exodus 34:27-28 God told Moses to write the Ten Commandments. In Revelation 1:11 Jesus said to John, "What thou seest, write in a book." God told Ezekiel, "Speak my words" to the people (Ezekiel 2-3). Isaiah 2:1 and Amos 1:1 both speak of the words which the prophets saw. In II Samuel 23:1-2 David claimed to have been anointed and inspired with the very words of God. He said, "The Spirit of the Lord spake by me, and his word was in my tongue." Critics deny the plenary verbal inspiration view by saying that human agents wrote the Scriptures. Their contention is that all men are fallible; men wrote the Bible; so the Bible is fallible and is not inerrant in all of its words. In reply, one must distinguish between the prophet and his prophecy, between the writer and his writings. When the Bible speaks concerning inspiration, the emphasis is on the Scriptures themselves, on the writings and not on the writer. For instance, II Timothy 3:16 says that all Scripture is God-breathed, but it does not say a thing about the writer. Paul truly was inspired, but the thrust is upon the Scripture and not the author. "Prophecy came not in old time by the will of man" (II Peter 1:20-21). The emphasis is on prophecy. While the writers were sometimes inspired, their writings were always inspired. Yes, they were fallible men who could (and did) make mistakes; but their writings were God-breathed and, therefore, infallible. For example, when Peter denied the Lord, he certainly was not inspired of God; but he was inspired when he wrote his epistles. In summary, the Bible shows that all Scripture is God-breathed; consequently, when a man was writing Scripture, he was motivated and inspired by the Lord and recorded what God said to write. Edited. The Advent Truth The real reason Catholics attack sola scriptura is because if they admit it’s the truth, they’d have to let go of their idolatrous beliefs. That’s the issue. Sola scriptura does not mean Christians cannot learn from pastors, history, or other believers. It means Scripture alone is the final, infallible authority for doctrine and practice. And Scripture repeatedly points us back to the written Word. 📖 Isaiah 8:20 — “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” 📖 2 Timothy 3:16–17 says Scripture is inspired by God and able to make the man of God “perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” 📖 Acts 17:11 praises the Bereans because they tested even Paul’s preaching by the Scriptures. Jesus Himself repeatedly answered religious controversy with, “It is written.” (Matthew 4:4, 7, 10) Why does this matter? Because once Scripture becomes the final authority, every doctrine has to stand before its judgment. Where does Scripture command Christians to pray to Mary? Where does Scripture teach us to invoke dead saints? Where does Scripture authorize the veneration of images in worship? Where does Scripture establish a human priesthood with power to absolve sins? Where does Scripture teach purgatory? Where does Scripture give one bishop universal supremacy over the church? If a doctrine cannot survive the Bible, adding “tradition” does not make it biblical. Jesus specifically warned about allowing religious tradition to override God’s Word: “Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition.” — Mark 7:13 That is why the authority question comes FIRST. If Scripture is merely one authority alongside an institution claiming authority to interpret Scripture and preserve binding tradition, that institution can defend doctrines Scripture never teaches. But if the Bible is the supreme standard, tradition must bow. Don’t ask, “What has my church always taught?” Ask, “What saith the scripture?” — Romans 4:3 Truth has nothing to fear from an open Bible.

PRAYER TO RESIST AND DESTROY EVIL ALTERS Heavenly Father, I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You are the Most High God, the Creator of heaven and earth. Your Word says in Psalm 91:2, "I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust." Right now, I stand on the rock of Your truth to break, resist, and destroy every evil altar speaking against my life, my family, my community, and my ministry. 1. Renouncing and Resisting Evil Voices The Scripture: "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord..." (Isaiah 54:17). The Prayer: Lord, I silence every evil altar speaking failure, sickness, confusion, and delay into my life and community. I command every demonic voice crying out from hidden altars of darkness to be silenced by the blood of Jesus. I refuse to agree with any word or decree sent from an evil altar. 2. Pulling Down Demonic Strongholds The Scripture: "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;" (2 Corinthians 10:4). The Prayer: Father, by Your Holy Spirit, I release the fire of God to dismantle every foundational and territorial evil altar fighting my progress. I pull down every stronghold of generational curses, witchcraft, and ancestral worship that has tied down my family, my church, and my city. Let the horns of the wicked be broken right now in Jesus' name. 3. Destroying and Burning Evil Altars The Scripture: "But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire." (Deuteronomy 7:5). The Prayer: O Lord, send Your consuming fire to burn to ashes every satanic altar erected against my ministry and community. I decree that every covenant and sacrifice speaking against my destiny is nullified by the blood of Jesus. Every priest of darkness ministering at evil altars against my life is dethroned and disgraced today. 4. Claiming Ultimate Victory and Freedom The Scripture: "And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." (2 Timothy 4:18). The Prayer: Thank You, Lord, because I am victorious. My life, my community, and my ministry are hidden in Christ. I walk in total freedom, divine protection, and unhindered breakthrough from this day forward. In Jesus' mighty name, I pray. Amen

God never leaves His children unguarded. His angels are sent by His command to watch over those who belong to Him. Even when we cannot see the spiritual battle around us, the Lord is faithfully protecting, guiding, and preserving us according to His perfect will. Walk in confidence today, knowing that the One who neither slumbers nor sleeps has surrounded you with His divine protection. Hold fast to His Word, trust His promises, and rest in His unfailing care. Daily devotion for August 30th The Unequal Yoke Must we hear now that you too are doing all this terrible wickedness and are being unfaithful to our God by marrying foreign women? Nehemiah 13:27 The nations among whom Israel was called to live were unusually degenerate. They practiced public lewdness. Their immorality had spread diseases among their people. They killed their children by throwing them alive into furnaces of fire in worship to their god Molech. To protect the Israelites from these dangerous practices, God had told them not to intermarry with these peoples. Though intermarriage might look right and proper to us, it would introduce to the Israelites attitudes and concepts that would ultimately undermine their faith and destroy them and their nation. This is what happened. Though Solomon, David's own son, was said to be the wisest man who ever lived, he contracted over a thousand marriages with foreign women who brought their gods with them and eventually introduced pagan practices into the worship of Israel. By the time Solomon's son came to the throne, the nation was so divided it could no longer exist as one but was separated into two. So this was a very wise pledge to make. This command is actually repeated in Paul's second letter to the Corinthians, not concerning racial distinctions, but religious. He says, Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? (2 Corinthians 6:14-16). Many Christians have ignored that to their own detriment by intermarrying with others of a different faith. They have thereby so undermined their own faith that evil in many ways has ultimately crept in and destroyed their marriages. There is no guarantee that if you marry a Christian you are going to have a happy marriage, because there are other principles involved. But it is much more likely that two Christians will be happy together because there are principles and practices taught to us in the Word that make for happiness in marriage. It is certain that if you disobey this command, however, you are opening the door to much heartache, struggle, and misery. There are passages designed to help people who have disobeyed this principle because God is very practical and merciful. He recognizes that for various reasons, intermarriage may occur. There are guidelines to help handle those situations. But by and large this is practical wisdom that needs to be adhered to today. Marry those who share the same faith you have, because faith is the basis for all of life. Lord, the guidelines You have given for living are good and right. Thank You that You love enough to protect me from that which ultimately would bring hurt and misery to me and to others.
