TITLE: PURITY IS OUR REQUIREMENT — OUR SANCTIFICATION WILL OF GOD — BECOMING 144000 — Rev 14:1-5 — BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH, NOT BY EFFORTS --- INTRODUCTION: Church — Purity is our requirement. Our sanctification is will of God. 1 Thess 4:3 — For this is will of God, your sanctification 1 Thess 4:7 — For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness Heb 12:14 — Pursue holiness, without which no one will see Lord 1 Pet 1:15-16 — Be holy, for I am holy Matt 5:8 — Blessed are pure in heart, for they shall see God Example God gives is 144000 — Rev 14:1-5 — People God needs us to become. MAIN TEXT: Rev 14:1, 3-5 Rev 14:1 — Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him 144,000 having His Father's Name written on their foreheads Rev 14:3 — Redeemed from earth Rev 14:4 — These are ones who were not defiled... for they are virgins. These are ones who follow Lamb wherever He goes. Redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to Lamb Rev 14:5 — And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before throne of God This is standard of final salvation — Pure & blameless. POINT 1: HOW DO YOU HAVE THIS? NOT BY YOUR EFFORTS BUT BY GOD'S REDEMPTIVE GRACE OF JESUS' BLOOD AND OUR FAITHFULNESS Eph 2:8-9 — For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is gift of God, not of works Titus 2:11-12 — Grace of God... teaches us to deny ungodliness Eph 1:7 — In Him we have redemption through His blood according to riches of His grace Rev 17:14 — Those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful Rev 2:10 — Be faithful until death and I will give you crown of life Rev 14:4 — These are ones who follow Lamb wherever He goes — Faithfulness Not effort = Rom 9:16 — Not of him who wills, nor runs, but of God who shows mercy — But grace + your faithfulness to follow. POINT 2: WE ARE IN FLESH THOUGH SAVED, LED BY SPIRIT — BATTLE BETWEEN FLESH & SPIRIT EVERYDAY Rom 8:9 — You are not in flesh but in Spirit, if indeed Spirit of God dwells in you Gal 5:16-17 — Walk in Spirit, and you shall not fulfill lust of flesh. For flesh lusts against Spirit, and Spirit against flesh; and these are contrary to one another Rom 7:21-23 — Battle in members Gal 5:24 — Those who are Christ's have crucified flesh with its passions You are saved, spirit-led, but battle is manifested everyday in our lives. POINT 3: YOU MUST KEEP A CLEAN RACE UPTO END — STARTED BY GRACE AND FAITH UNTIL FINAL SALVATION AS PURE & BLAMELESS LIKE 144000 Heb 12:1 — Let us run with endurance race set before us 2 Tim 4:7 — I have finished race, I have kept faith 1 Cor 9:24-27 — Run to obtain, bring body into subjection Phil 1:6 — He who has begun good work will complete it Eph 2:10 — Created for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them Matt 24:13 — He who endures to end shall be saved Rev 14:5 — Without fault before throne — Eph 1:4 — Holy and without blame — Jude 1:24 — Present you faultless You started by grace and faith — Gal 3:3 — Having begun in Spirit — You must keep clean race upto end. POINT 4: BRETHREN THIS ISN'T EASY BUT BY PRAYER AND WORD BECOME IT, BECOME PURE 1 Tim 4:5 — For it is sanctified by word of God and prayer John 17:17 — Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth Ps 119:9 — How shall young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word Ps 119:11 — Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You Eph 5:26 — Washing of water by word John 15:3 — You are already clean because of word Word + Prayer = Purity. That is formula for 144000 formation. POINT 5: IN THIS LAST AGE WITH THAT BATTLE — TRUE REPENTANCE & BLOOD WASH IS CRUCIAL True repentance = turning away from sin or evil you did & don't do it again. Acts 3:19 — Repent therefore and be converted, that sins may be blotted out 2 Cor 7:10 — Godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation Prov 28:13 — He who confesses and forsakes will have mercy Luke 3:8 — Bear fruits worthy of repentance 1 John 3:9 — Whoever born of God does not practice sin Blood washes, purifies you: Rev 1:5 — Washed us from sins in His own blood 1 John 1:7 — Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin Heb 9:14 — Blood of Christ cleanse your conscience Isa 1:18 — Though sins like scarlet, shall be as white as snow POINT 6: THINGS THAT MUST BE AVOIDED FOR PURITY EARNING — SIN Gal 5:19-21 — Works of flesh are evident: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries 1 Cor 6:9-10 — Neither fornicators, adulterers, thieves, covetous, drunkards, revilers, extortioners will inherit kingdom Eph 4:31 — Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, evil speaking be put away James 3:16 — Where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there Col 3:8 — Put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language Rev 21:8 — Unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have part in lake You listed: envy, jealous, gossiping, quarreling, drunkenness, adultery, corruption, unbelief, compromise of truth — turning away from truth to follow deception, lies — etc — Must be avoided. 2 Cor 7:1 — Cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness James 1:27 — Keep oneself unspotted from world POINT 7: NOT GOING TO RUN THIS CLEAN RACE TO FINAL SALVATION BY THY EFFORTS BUT BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH Zech 4:6 — Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit Phil 2:13 — It is God who works in you both to will and to do Titus 3:5 — Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us 2 Tim 1:9 — Saved us... not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace Your part is faithfulness — His part is grace to keep you. POINT 8: YOU NEED TO PRAY THE WORD THAT CLEANSES US — DAVID SAYS HIS WORD KEEPS ME BLAMELESS AND IN WALK OF RIGHT PATH Ps 119:9, 11 — Cleanses way, keeps from sin Ps 18:23 — I was also blameless before Him, and I kept myself from my iniquity Ps 119:133 — Direct my steps by Your word Ps 37:31 — Law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide Josh 1:8 — Meditate in word day and night... then you will make your way prosperous Pray the word — Jer 23:29 — Is not My word like fire? — It burns impurity. POINT 9: ENSURE YOU BELIEVE IN THY PRAYING — PRAYER IN FAITH = WORKS, NOT FAITH ALONE — BELIEVE YOU HAVE RECEIVED — SPEAK THAT YOU BELIEVE 2 Cor 4:13 — We having same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak Mark 11:23-24 — Whoever says... and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore... whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them James 2:17, 22, 26 — Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead... Faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect John 6:29 — This is work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent — John 6:28-29 — What shall we do, that we may work works of God? Believing = works of faith. When you pray minus faith, and don't see it, this might fail your prayer. James 1:6-7 — Let him ask in faith, with no doubting... let not that man suppose he will receive anything from Lord Heb 11:6 — Without faith it is impossible to please Him Matt 21:22 — Whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive So in this, your prayer is sealed with faith & works. Isa 43:26 — Put Me in remembrance; state your case Job 22:28 — You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you Rom 10:10 — With heart one believes unto righteousness, and with mouth confession is made unto salvation CONCLUSION & ALTAR CALL PRAYER: Therefore — Believe = works of faith — John 6:29 — And you will receive, it will be done unto you — Mark 11:24 Today we choose to be pure & blameless like 144000 — Not by efforts but by grace through faithfulness — Turning, washed by Blood, avoiding sin, by word & prayer, believing we have received purity. 1 John 3:3 — Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure Let us pray Rev 14:1-5 prayer we made — And believe we have received it — Amen.

Guard and Renew Your Mind (Romans 12:2) Your mind is a battlefield. Every day, you are exposed to thousands of messages telling you what to believe, what to desire, what success looks like, what happiness should look like, and what you should value. Social media. Music. Movies. Friends. News. Advertisements. The people you follow. The conversations you have. Even the thoughts you repeatedly tell yourself. Over time, these things can influence the way you think without you even realizing it. That's why the Bible says: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Notice the word: Transformed. Following Jesus isn't simply about changing your appearance or using Christian language. Jesus wants to transform the way you think. The way you see yourself. The way you see other people. The way you respond to temptation. The way you handle money. The way you define success. The way you deal with disappointment. The way you make decisions. The way you understand your purpose. The world constantly tells you: “Follow your heart.” But Scripture teaches us to allow God to transform our hearts and minds through His truth. Not every thought you have deserves to be believed. Not every desire should be followed. Not every opinion online deserves your attention. Not every trend deserves your participation. Not every voice deserves influence over your life. You need discernment. Ask yourself: “Is this helping me become more like Christ?” That question can change the way you consume content. Before watching something, ask. Before listening to something repeatedly, ask. Before following someone online, ask. Before joining a conversation, ask. Before accepting a popular opinion, ask: “Does this agree with God's truth?” This doesn't mean you should hide from the world. Jesus called His followers to be lights in the world. But being in the world doesn't mean allowing the world's values to control you. You can use social media without allowing social media to define your worth. You can enjoy entertainment without allowing entertainment to shape your morality. You can learn from people without making people your ultimate authority. You can be aware of culture without becoming controlled by culture. Guard your mind. Because what repeatedly enters your mind eventually influences your heart, your words, and your actions. If you constantly consume negativity, don't be surprised when negativity begins shaping your outlook. If you constantly compare yourself with others, don't be surprised when you become dissatisfied with your own life. If you constantly consume materialism, don't be surprised when you begin believing that possessions determine your value. If you constantly listen to voices that tell you that you're not enough, don't be surprised when insecurity takes root. But the opposite is also true. Fill your mind with God's Word. Fill your mind with truth. Fill your mind with gratitude. Fill your mind with encouragement. Fill your mind with things that strengthen your faith. The more you know God's truth, the easier it becomes to recognize what contradicts it. That's why reading Scripture isn't just a religious routine. It renews your mind. When God's Word says you are created in His image, you don't have to let social media determine your worth. When God's Word says you are loved by God, you don't have to chase everyone's approval. When God's Word says God is with you, you don't have to allow fear to control every decision. When God's Word calls you to forgive, you don't have to allow bitterness to become your identity. When God's Word calls you to purity, you don't have to follow every desire. When God's Word calls you to serve, you don't have to live only for yourself. The battle for your life often begins with the battle for your mind. That's why Proverbs 4:23 tells us: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” Be careful what you allow to take root. And when wrong thoughts enter your mind, don't panic. A thought appearing in your mind isn't the same as choosing to embrace it. Bring it to God. Challenge it with Scripture. Replace lies with truth. Replace fear with faith. Replace bitterness with forgiveness. Replace comparison with gratitude. Replace hopelessness with the promises of God. Replace pride with humility. Replace selfishness with love. This is part of spiritual growth. You don't become more like Christ overnight. It happens as God continually transforms you. Day by day. Thought by thought. Decision by decision. So today, take an honest look at what has been influencing your mind. What are you watching? What are you listening to? Who are you following? What conversations are you constantly participating in? What thoughts do you repeatedly tell yourself? Are these things drawing you closer to Christ—or pulling you away from Him? You don't have to keep consuming something simply because everyone else does. You don't have to follow every trend. You don't have to accept every popular opinion. You have permission to say: “This isn't good for my spiritual life.” Then walk away. Your mind is valuable. Your heart is valuable. Your spiritual life is valuable. Protect them. And most importantly, give them to God. Don't allow the world to shape you more than God's Word does. Let Christ transform you from the inside out. Today, choose one unhealthy influence to reduce and one godly influence to increase. Spend more time in Scripture. Pray. Worship. Choose wise friendships. Consume content that strengthens your faith. And ask God to renew your mind. TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS: SERMON TOPIC: 🔥SERMON: BE SPIRITUALLY ALERT — EMBER MONTHS ARE HERE. Theme: “Watch and Pray: Finishing the Year Strong in Christ” Key Text: 1 Peter 5:8–9 > “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” 🔥 THE YEAR IS NOT OVER YET! Beloved, we have entered the final stretch of the year. The ember months—September, October, November and December—are often associated with celebrations, travelling, weddings, parties, business activities, family gatherings and end-of-year excitement. But as Christians, we must understand something: The end of the year is not a time to become spiritually careless. It is a time to become spiritually alert! Many people become relaxed because they think, “The year is almost over.” But the devil does not take a holiday. Your prayer life must not go on holiday. Your Bible study must not go on holiday. Your holiness must not go on holiday. Your spiritual discernment must not go on holiday. The fact that we are approaching the end of the year does not mean we should lower our spiritual guard. This is the season to watch, pray, discern and finish well! 1. 🛡️ BE SOBER AND VIGILANT. 1 Peter 5:8 Peter says: > “Be sober, be vigilant…” To be sober means to remain spiritually clear-minded. To be vigilant means to remain watchful and alert. A Christian can be physically awake but spiritually asleep. You may attend church and still become spiritually careless. You may carry a Bible and still lose spiritual sensitivity. You may pray yesterday and still need to pray today. The ember months can bring many distractions: Excessive celebrations Ungodly relationships Financial pressure Peer pressure Sexual temptation Substance abuse Unnecessary travelling Reckless spending Internet and social-media distractions Pressure to “make it before the year ends” Do not allow the excitement of the season to silence the voice of the Holy Spirit. 2. 🙏 WATCH AND PRAY Matthew 26:41 > “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation…” Notice that Jesus did not say pray without watching. He said: Watch AND pray. Prayer without spiritual alertness can make us careless. Spiritual alertness without prayer can make us powerless. We need both. During these months, increase your prayer life. Pray concerning: Your family Your children Your marriage Your career Your ministry Your finances Your travels Your relationships Your spiritual life The decisions you will make Do not wait until trouble comes before you begin to pray. Prayer is not only a crisis response; prayer is spiritual preparation. 3. 🕯️ DO NOT LET THE SEASON STEAL YOUR SPIRITUAL FIRE Romans 12:11 > “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord. One danger of the ember months is spiritual fatigue. People become tired and say: > “I have prayed enough this year.” No! You don't retire from your relationship with God because the calendar is approaching December. Your spiritual fire must continue burning. Leviticus 6:13 > “The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.” Your altar must remain alive. Don't let December find you spiritually empty. Keep reading the Word. Keep praying. Keep worshipping. Keep serving. Keep witnessing. Keep forgiving. Keep walking in holiness. 4. ⚠️ BE CAREFUL WITH DECISIONS MADE UNDER PRESSURE. The final months of the year can create tremendous pressure. People begin asking: “What have you achieved this year?” “How much money have you made?” “When are you getting married?” “When will you build your house?” “When will you buy a car?” “What are you doing with your life?” Such questions can create comparison and desperation. And desperation can lead people into wrong decisions. Remember: You do not need to destroy your future because you are trying to impress people before December 31. Psalm 37:7 says: > “Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him…” Do not enter a wrong relationship because you are afraid of being single. Do not enter fraudulent business because you want quick money. Do not compromise your faith because you want acceptance. Do not abandon God's principles because you feel behind. God's timing is better than human pressure. 5. 🎯 FINISH THE YEAR STRONG. Philippians 3:13–14 Paul says: > “Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before…” There is still time. Perhaps January did not go as planned. Maybe February brought disappointment. Maybe March brought unexpected challenges. Maybe you made mistakes. Maybe opportunities passed. Maybe you experienced losses. But the year is not over yet. Don't spend the remaining months mourning what went wrong. Ask: > “Lord, what can I still do with the time You have given me?” You can still pray. You can still reconcile. You can still start. You can still learn. You can still serve. You can still evangelize. You can still correct your mistakes. You can still become spiritually stronger. There are still chapters of your story that have not been written. 📖 BIBLICAL CASE STUDY: NEHEMIAH. Consider Nehemiah. When Nehemiah and the people were rebuilding Jerusalem's wall, their enemies attempted to distract and intimidate them. Nehemiah 4:9 > “Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night…” Look at the balance: They prayed AND they watched. They did not say: > “We are praying, so we don't need to be careful.” Neither did they say: > “We are watching, so we don't need God.” They did both. Prayer + Watchfulness = Spiritual Alertness This is a powerful principle for the ember months. Pray as though everything depends on God. Work and watch as though God expects you to be responsible. 💡 DEEP SPIRITUAL INSIGHTS. 1. Not every opportunity is a God-given opportunity. Some opportunities are simply distractions dressed as blessings. Discern before you accept. 2. Not every relationship deserves access to your destiny. Some relationships strengthen your faith. Others weaken it. Watch your associations. 3. The enemy often uses distraction before destruction. He does not always begin with something obviously evil. Sometimes he begins with: > “Just this once.” Then another time. Then another. Eventually, compromise becomes normal. 4. The final months require spiritual discipline, not spiritual panic. Do not wait until December to start asking God to fix everything. Walk with God daily. 5. Your greatest victory may be finishing faithfully. Not everyone who starts well finishes well. Your goal should not simply be: > “I want to end the year wealthy.” Say: > “I want to end the year closer to God, stronger in faith, cleaner in character and faithful to my assignment.” ✅ PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS FOR THE EMBER MONTHS. 1. Establish a daily prayer time. Even if it is 15–30 minutes, be consistent. 2. Read the Bible daily. Don't allow social media to receive more attention than God's Word. 3. Examine your relationships. Ask who is strengthening your faith and who is weakening it. 4. Avoid unnecessary risks. Be wise with travelling, finances, relationships and celebrations. 5. Control your spending. Don't spend January's resources trying to impress people in December. 6. Stay connected to Christian fellowship. Don't isolate yourself spiritually. 7. Practice gratitude. Count your blessings instead of comparing yourself with others. 8. Set spiritual goals. Before the year ends, decide what you want to accomplish spiritually. 9. Reconcile where necessary. Do not carry unnecessary bitterness into another year. 10. Finish what God has entrusted to you. Don't abandon your assignment because the year has been difficult. 🤔 QUESTIONS FOR PERSONAL REFLECTION 1. How spiritually alert am I right now? 2. Has my prayer life become weaker? 3. What distractions are threatening my relationship with God? 4. Are there relationships I need to reconsider? 5. Am I making decisions because of God's leading or because of pressure? 6. What temptation do I need to become more watchful against? 7. What unfinished assignment should I complete before the year ends? 8. If the year ended today, would I be satisfied with my walk with God? 9. What must I stop doing? 10. What must I start doing? 🙏 POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS 1. Prayer for spiritual alertness Father, awaken my spirit and make me sensitive to Your voice. Help me to recognize every distraction and every trap of the enemy. 2. Prayer for protection Lord, preserve me, my family and everyone connected to me throughout these remaining months. Keep us from evil and unnecessary danger. 3. Prayer against temptation Father, strengthen me to say NO to every temptation that can destroy my testimony, destiny and relationship with You. 4. Prayer for divine direction. Lord, guide my decisions. Give me wisdom to know what to accept, what to reject and what to wait for. 5. Prayer against desperation Father, deliver me from the pressure to compete, compare or compromise. Help me to trust Your timing. 6. Prayer for restoration Lord, restore whatever I have lost that is according to Your will, and give me wisdom to recover what can still be recovered. 7. Prayer for finishing well Father, I will not finish this year spiritually empty. Give me grace to finish stronger, wiser, purer and closer to You than I started. 8. Prayer for the family Lord, preserve our families. Let no tragedy, division or destructive influence prevail over our homes. 9. Prayer for purpose Father, help me to complete every assignment You have entrusted to me before the end of this year. 10. Prayer of surrender Lord Jesus, I surrender the remaining months of this year to You. Take control of my life, my plans, my family, my decisions and my future. Let Your will be done in my life. Amen. 🔥 STRONG CLOSING: DON'T SLEEP THROUGH YOUR SEASON! Church, the ember months are here, but God's grace is still available! Don't become careless. Don't become distracted. Don't become desperate. Don't compromise. Don't allow celebrations to replace consecration. Don't allow social pressure to replace God's direction. Don't allow the mistakes of yesterday to destroy the possibilities of tomorrow. WATCH! PRAY! DISCERN! STAND FIRM! FINISH STRONG! The year may be approaching its final months, but your assignment is not finished. Your testimony is not finished. Your purpose is not finished. Your story is not finished. YOU SHALL SPROUT AGAIN. . TEXT: Job 14:7-9. (KJV). "For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant." Other Texts: (Numbers 23:19; Joshua 21:45; 2 Corinthians 1:20; Genesis 21:1–2; Deuteronomy 7:9; Isaiah 55:10–11; Habakkuk 2:3; 1 Kings 8:56.) 🌅 Introduction: There are seasons in life when it appears that everything has come to an end. Dreams seem buried, businesses collapse, ministries become dry, families experience heartbreak, and health fails. The enemy whispers, "It is over." But God declares through Job 14:7, "There is hope." Our God specializes in bringing life out of death, beauty out of ashes, and restoration after devastation. If a tree can sprout again after being cut down, then a child of God can also rise again. No matter how much has been lost, you shall sprout again. I. YOUR SETBACK IS NOT YOUR END. Job 14:7 A tree may be cut down, but its roots remain alive. The enemy may cut down your finances, reputation, relationships, or ministry, but if your roots remain in Christ, your future is secure. Job lost everything, yet God restored him double (Job 42:10-17). Joseph was betrayed, sold into slavery, and imprisoned before becoming governor (Genesis 37; 39-41). Naomi returned to Bethlehem empty, but God filled her again through Ruth (Ruth 1-4). A farmer does not uproot every tree after cutting its branches because he knows that life is still hidden beneath the surface. Likewise, what appears dead to people may still be alive in God's hands. People may write you off, but God has not finished writing your story. 2. THE ROOT DETERMINES THE FUTURE. Job 14:8 "Though the root thereof wax old..." God focuses on the root rather than the branches. The branches represent visible success. The roots represent: Prayer, Faith, Character, Holiness, God's Word A believer with deep roots can recover after any storm. (Psalm 1:3, Jeremiah 17:7-8, Colossians 2:6-7) Never neglect your spiritual roots during difficult seasons. 3. THE SCENT OF WATER BRINGS REVIVAL. Job 14:9 The tree sprouts not because someone pushes it but because it senses water. Throughout Scripture, water represents: The Holy Spirit (John 7:37-39) The Word of God (Ephesians 5:26) God's refreshing presence (Isaiah 44:3) The moment God's presence touches a dry life, restoration begins. Ezekiel's dry bones came alive by God's Spirit (Ezekiel 37:1-14). Samson regained strength when his hair grew again (Judges 16:22). Peter failed terribly, yet Jesus restored him and he became a bold preacher (John 21:15-19). During drought, fields appear lifeless. Yet when rain falls, seeds hidden beneath the soil suddenly germinate. What looked dead was only waiting for the right season. Stay connected to God's presence because one encounter can change everything. 4. GOD RESTORES WHAT SEEMS LOST God is the God of restoration. (Joel 2:25-27, Isaiah 61:7, Psalm 126:1-6) God restores: Lost opportunities, Joy, Peace, Relationships, Ministries, Finances, Health etc. Lazarus came back from the grave (John 11). The Shunammite woman received back her land and possessions (2 Kings 8:1-6). The prodigal son was restored to his father's house (Luke 15:11-24). God's restoration is often greater than what was lost. 5. SPROUTING AGAIN REQUIRES FAITH. Faith sees life where others see death. (Hebrews 11:1, Mark 9:23, Romans 4:17-21) Abraham believed against hope. Sarah conceived in old age. Nothing is impossible with God. Faith keeps believing until God's promise becomes reality. 6. DO NOT DESPISE SMALL BEGINNINGS. When a tree sprouts again, it starts with a small shoot. God often begins restoration in small ways. (Zechariah 4:10, Isaiah 60:22) David moved from shepherd boy to king one step at a time (1 Samuel 16; 2 Samuel 5). Celebrate every sign of progress because God often starts small before doing something great. 7. YOUR TESTIMONY WILL ENCOURAGE OTHERS. When God restores you, your life becomes a testimony. (Psalm 40:1-3, Revelation 12:11) Others who have lost hope will gain courage because of what God has done for you. LESSONS FOR TODAY'S CHRISTIAN Never conclude your life before God has finished His work. Remain rooted in Christ during difficult seasons. Stay in God's presence because revival comes from Him. Believe that restoration is possible even after great loss. Be patient with God's timing. Small beginnings can lead to great breakthroughs. Your restored life will glorify God and strengthen the faith of others. PRACTICAL APPLICATION Ask yourself: Are my spiritual roots still alive? Am I staying close to God through prayer and His Word? Am I trusting God's promises more than my present circumstances? Am I ready to recognize the new beginning God is bringing? Even if life has "cut you down," God can cause you to sprout again. SUMMARY. The enemy may have cut down your dreams, delayed your progress, or shaken your confidence, but he cannot destroy what God has planted. The same God who restored Job, raised Lazarus, revived dry bones, and restored Peter is still at work today. Your current season is not your final chapter. By the power of the Holy Spirit, new life will emerge from what seemed finished. Your joy will return, your calling will flourish, your faith will grow stronger, and your testimony will declare God's faithfulness. Remember God's promise: "For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again..." (Job 14:7, KJV). Declare by faith: I shall sprout again. My hope is alive in Christ. My dry season is coming to an end. God is restoring every area of my life. My latter days shall be greater than my former days. My testimony will bring glory to God. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen. Matthew 21:18-27 This passage becomes controversial, not because of any major issue really but because of this fig tree. The Pharisees were all bent out of shape because of the previous day's events, and they were chomping at the bit to get Jesus. So Jesus approaches Jerusalem and was hungry and begins looking for fruit amongst the leaves and He finds none. There are a few issues here. 1. This wasn't the time of year that figs were fruiting on the trees. So some try to say that Jesus should have known there were no figs on this tree and should not have cursed it, because there was never supposed to be figs ready. And this is true, but there are young fig growths that develop into figs later in the season, and there were none of these little nibs either so that's why Jesus cursed the tree. 2. The parallel account in Mark 11. In the parallel account, Jesus goes to the tree, finds no fruit and curses it, the disciples and Jesus enter Jerusalem and only notice the withered tree as they are leaving the city later that day. So why is one instantaneous reaction and the other isn't? We need to stop imposing 21st century rules of Grammar on ancient texts. Mark wasn't obligated to present events in the same manner as Matthew. The emphasis should be on the lesson, not the timing. Mark wanted to emphasize the trip to Jerusalem before the lesson of the fig tree. Others say that here Jesus is performing a live action parable. Israel is often seen in prophecy and Old Testament scripture as a fig tree. Sometimes it is a healthy fruiting tree, signifying a faithful Israel. At other times it is a dead tree signifying an Israel straying from God. So this trip to Jerusalem is seen as this parable where Jesus approached the tree only to find no fruit. Whether the withering happened immediately or later is not the point. It's entirely possible that the immediate withering was not noticed by some of them until later, or that the entirety of the whole live parable took place for the purpose of teaching this one lesson and the timing is irrelevant. It doesn't change the words of scripture, doesn't alter any teachings in any way. So we need to stop forcing our need for grammatically pat answers on scripture. It is here Jesus says that a prayer offered in faith can have miraculous results. And Jesus uses the example of asking for a mountain to move. Again, the emphasis is on the lesson not the seeming impossibility of the requested event occurring. And sadly, we do not have a biblical example of a physical mountain moving as a result of prayer. This is the same Jesus who raised the dead and cast out demons so moving millions of tons of metric earth is in His wheelhouse. But the lesson is twofold. First, whatever we ask is doable because He is Almighty God. Second, Jesus is approaching Jerusalem toward the end of His earthly ministry expecting a response in the affirmative not because he believed they'd respond but because God promised the nation of Israel that they would have the opportunity to accept the gospel first but would ultimately reject Him. So what is the point behind this lesson? Jesus comes to Jerusalem in His final week, cleanses the temple again, and is literally demonstrating that the fruit (faithfulness and fruit of righteousness) he is wanting to see (nibs) is nowhere to be found on the tree (Israel/Jerusalem). Jesus wasn't surprised that no nibs were available to eat, He wasn't shocked the tree had no fruit, He just made perfect use of an obvious fact to teach a somewhat unobvious truth. [18] Now in the early morning, when He was returning to the city, He became hungry. [19] And seeing a lone fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it except leaves alone; and He *said to it, “No longer shall there ever be any fruit from you.” And at once the fig tree withered. [20] Seeing this, the disciples were amazed and asked, “How did the fig tree wither all at once?” [21] And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen. [22] And whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive it all.”

SERMON: WAKE UP AND CHOOSE HOLINESS — OR MISS ETERNAL LIFE Text: Hebrews 12:14 — "Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord." Text 2: Matthew 7:21 — "Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father." INTRODUCTION: Church, we love to say "I am saved, I believe." True, we are saved by grace through faith Ephesians 2:8. But Bible says believe without obedience, without living pure life, earns no eternal life. James 2:17,26 — Faith without works is dead. Dead faith cannot save. This is a warning to church that has got GREEN 7 vision on the wall — calling for spiritual revival, repentance, awakening, rebirth. Get prepared now or you will miss eternal life and be cast in eternal fire. For eternal life God gives it to righteous only. PART 1: BELIEVING ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH — OBEDIENCE IS PROOF Romans 6:16 — "Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?" You say you believe, but you still obey jealousy, gossiping, quarreling, fornication, lies — you are still slave to sin leading to death. Luke 6:46 — Jesus says "Why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and do not do things which I say?" 1 John 2:3-4 — "Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says I know Him and does not keep His commandments is a liar, and truth is not in him." Titus 1:16 — They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him. Many in church are saved but living flesh mindset — that is compromise of truth. PART 2: WHAT IS COMPROMISE OF TRUTH? — THE FLESH MINDSET You must wake up and choose holiness above all else — above prosperity gospel, above money, above fame. Compromise = Choosing prosperity gospel over holiness. Choosing flesh mindset. Galatians 5:19-21 — "Now works of flesh are evident: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries... those who practice such things will not inherit kingdom of God." Look: Jealous, gossiping, quarreling = will NOT inherit kingdom. That is what you wrote. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 — Neither fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, thieves, covetous, drunkards, revilers, extortioners will inherit kingdom. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 — In last days men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient — having form of godliness but denying its power. Church, if you still live like this, your salvation is not finished. PART 3: THOUGH YOU ARE SAVED, YOU MUST RUN A CLEAN RACE TO END Philippians 2:12 — "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." Hebrews 12:1 — "Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, laying aside every weight and sin which so easily ensnares us." 2 Timothy 4:7-8 — Paul says "I have fought good fight, I have finished race, I have kept faith. Finally there is laid up for me crown of righteousness, which Lord, righteous Judge, will give to me." Not starting race — finishing clean race. 1 Corinthians 9:27 — Paul says "I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified." Matthew 24:13 — "He who endures to end shall be saved." Your final salvation is at end, not at beginning. 1 Peter 1:9 — receiving end of your faith — salvation of your souls. PART 4: GREEN 7 VISION ON WALL — CALL FOR REVIVAL, REPENTANCE, AWAKENING, REBIRTH You asked what is Green 7 on wall. This is what God showed me, Reagan, His servant witness. Proverbs 29:18 — Where there is no vision, people perish. GREEN = Mercy, life, green pastures Psalm 23:2, revival, Holy Spirit life. Psalm 52:8 — I am like green olive tree in house of God. 7 = Completion, perfection Genesis 2:2-3, fullness of God. GREEN 7 ON WALL = Final fullness of God's mercy calling for: Spiritual Revival: Habakkuk 3:2 — "O LORD, revive Your work in midst of years." Psalm 85:6 — Will You not revive us again? Repentance: Acts 3:19 — "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come." Awakening: Ephesians 5:14 — "Awake, you who sleep, arise from dead, and Christ will give you light." Romans 13:11 — Now it is high time to awake out of sleep. Rebirth: John 3:3,5 — Unless one is born again, born of water and Spirit, cannot enter kingdom. This vision was given so you don't miss eternal life. Wall means it is written before you — warning is posted. PART 5: ETERNAL LIFE GOD GIVES TO RIGHTEOUS ONLY — OR ETERNAL FIRE Revelation 21:8 — "But cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is second death." Matthew 25:46 — These will go away into everlasting punishment, but righteous into eternal life. Romans 2:6-8 — God "will render to each one according to his deeds: eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey truth, but obey unrighteousness — indignation and wrath." Psalm 11:7 — For the LORD is righteous, He loves righteousness. God is righteous Judge 2 Timothy 4:8 — He cannot give eternal life to unrighteous. Must be righteous — washed by blood AND living pure Revelation 7:14, 14:4-5. 144,000 are seen as pure before God Rev14:4-5 — blameless. That is righteousness. CONCLUSION: CHOOSE NOW Joshua 24:15 — Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve. Deuteronomy 30:19 — I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life. Saved, church — wake up! Stop prosperity gospel lie that says "once saved always saved while living in sin." Stop flesh mindset — jealous, gossiping, quarreling. Green 7 is last mercy. Next is RED 7 — blood, judgment complete. And skeleton vision — dead bones without Spirit. Pray: In Name of JESUS THE LAMB OF GOD, I repent! I turn from compromise of truth! I choose holiness above all else Heb 12:14! I will run clean race to end Heb 12:1! I receive Green 7 revival, awakening, rebirth John 3:3! To know what it is for you, you must: 1) Discern what success really is. When others feel good about you, you’re popular; but when you feel good about yourself, you’re successful. Your life’s highest calling will always create the highest level of joy within you. 2) Before you set goals, pray. ‘In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths’ (Proverbs 3:6 NKJV). It’s not wrong to set goals, it’s just wrong to set them without first consulting God. 3) Stop expecting others to bring you success. Don’t wait for flowers to arrive. God gave you seed; start growing some of your own. ‘Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else’ (Galatians 6:4 NLT). And besides, when you’re less needy you’ll become more attractive to others. 4) Get over yourself—everyone else has. A minister said he was praying one day, ‘Father, why does the devil keep reminding me of my past?’ God replied, ‘Because he’s running low on material!’ Repent, and then move on. [30/08, 9:40 pm] Pastor Attah: *MEDITATIONS ON DAILY ⓂANNA* MONDAY, 31ST AUGUST, 2026. *DANCING AT THE GATES OF HELL* *TEXT:* MICAH 2:7-13. 7 O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly? 8 Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war. 9 The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have ye taken away my glory for ever. 10 Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction. 11 If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people. 12 I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men. 13 The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them. *Timeless Truth:*_"Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came"_ (Amos 6:1). *INTRODUCTION* It is dangerous to live carelessly at the edge of spiritual destruction, presuming that God's patience means that His judgment will never come. The people of Israel had become comfortable with sin, oppression and false teachings, yet they still wanted to hear pleasant messages. They were, in effect, dancing at the gates of hell—enjoying temporary pleasures while moving dangerously close to divine judgment. The audience of Micah foreshadows this modern age or last days when the *"people will no longer be able to endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears"* (2 Timothy 4:3). If Israel was severely punished for preferring fables to the sound Word of truth, the people of this age will have a more *"sorer punishments"* in eternal hell fire. Micah's message calls us to examine our hearts, remember the consequences of persistent rebellion and hasten to leave every path that leads to destruction. *1. Heart-Probing Questions* a. There were some probing questions in the text. *"O house of Jacob, is the Spirit of the LORD straitened [limited]?"* The people complained that God's power or patience was too short or that His Spirit should only give good messages instead of warning them about judgment. In the last days too, the same attitude and preference will increasingly continue. *"They shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables"* (2 Timothy 4:4). The sound doctrine of the Word of God will be a heavy burden and unbearable to the religious lovers of pleasure. Many preachers will unfaithfully dilute their messages to suit their audience and make them happy though they will eventually, lead them to destruction and hell. They also asked, *"Are these his doings?"*. The people questioned if God was really behind the hard times or the warnings of punishment they were hearing. To them, God is too good to inflict such a heavy judgment. It was not God that was behind their hard times, but their evils. When you do evil, evil will follow and when you do good, good will follow. b. God answered their questions. *"Do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?"* God answers that His messages are always good and helpful for people who actually, live right and obey Him. Even when the Word of God is a warning judgment, it is equally to do good to those who are rebellious and disobedient for it will turn them from the path of destruction. All the messages of God are good and are intended to do good in the lives of the obedient. Hearing His Word is never a liability if there is love for the truth. We must stop blaming God, the Church, our circumstances or other people for the consequences of our disobedience. The probing question is directed at our hearts: Are we walking uprightly before God? A person who rejects God's correction, but expects His blessings is dangerously deceiving himself. *Question* When God's Word confronts your lifestyle, do you humbly submit to it or resist its correction? *2. History of Protracted Quarrel* a. The basis of God's quarrel with Israel had always been because of their sins and violence against moral laws. God always gives reasons to justify His judgments so that it is clear to all that people's disobedience is not a matter of ignorance, but a deliberate choice and exercise of their will. Some of their evils were listed. The rebellion of God's people was not a momentary mistake; it had become a prolonged quarrel against God's righteous ways. They rose against others as enemies, robbed the peaceful, oppressed women and drove children away from their inheritance. *"The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant places"*. Furthermore, the children were messed up, demoralized and denied basic moral training and discipline that would make them radiate the glory of God. *"From their children have ye taken away my glory for ever"*. Robbery and insecurity of lives and property became a booming trade in the land. *"Ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely"*. Worse still, they preferred false prophets who specialize in prophesying ephemeral blessings including wine and strong drink. b. Israel had a long history of persistent rebellion despite warnings from the prophets. Sin often begins as a private compromise, but can grow into a lifestyle that damages others. Persistent rebellion against God results in injustice, selfishness and spiritual blindness. Those dancing at the gates of hell may laugh at warnings and celebrate false assurances, but judgment does not disappear because people refuse to hear about it. *Question* Is there any sinful habit you have allowed to continue for so long that it is now affecting other people? *3. Hasten to Permanently Quit* God commanded His people to arise and depart because their sinful condition had made their present position spiritually unsafe. Lot was told by the angel to hasten *"while he lingers"* though the fire of hell was almost dropping like rain. He was warned *"escape for thy life"* (Genesis 19:16,17). If he had delayed further, the fire of God would have caught him with all his family members. When God pronounces His judgments on wickedness, the wisest thing to do is to speedily take steps and quit whatever is displeasing to God. *“This is not your rest.”* Though the judgment of God was catching up with them, they still believed their mind and the messages of compromising prophets who promised them *"peace, peace, when there is no peace"*. They were relaxed, unresponsive and continued their lives of pleasure as if the prophet was just wasting his time. Any promised rest or enjoyment in the midst of sin is fake and deceptive. *"Arise ye, and depart, for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction"*. God always remembers mercy in His wrath. He asked them to seek for exile in other countries because the judgment on the land as a result of their evil was irreversible. God's solution against His judgments is always departure from sin and objects of divine rebukes and displeasure. *"Depart ye, depart ye"*. b. As characterictic of God, the message ended with hope and restoration for the repentant remnants. God promised to gather His remnant and lead them like a shepherd. After they had suffered in the land of the captivity, "the Breaker" (The Messiah) went before them, opening the way for deliverance and led them back to their land. This will also be repeated in the last days when Messiah will come back to deliver Israel from the hand of their enemies, especially the Antichrist. God does not call us to abandon sin without providing the grace and power to escape it. Christ is our Deliverer, able to break the chains of bondage and lead us into true freedom. Do not dance near the gates of hell. Arise, repent and permanently quit every sinful path. Run toward Christ, who alone leads His people safely through the way of life. *Question* What must you urgently and permanently leave behind in order to walk freely with Christ? *Prayer Points* 1.Lord, search my heart and reveal every area where I have resisted Your Word and correction🙏. 2.Father, deliver me from every prolonged habit of sin that is destroying my fellowship with You and hurting others🙏. 3.Lord, give me more love for the truth and give me hatred for all forms of deceptions🙏 4.Lord Jesus, my Deliverer and Breaker, go before me, break every chain of bondage and lead me into a life of holiness and victory👆. *HYMN:* Have you counted the cost? *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* ESTHER 6-10. Entire communities were forced to abandon their homes, not because they wanted to, but because the ground beneath them had become unstable. For many, staying behind meant certain destruction. The tragedy was not just in the collapse of buildings but also in the reluctance of some to leave despite clear warnings.* *Micah's message to Israel carried a similar urgency. In Micah 2:10, the prophet declares, "Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction." The people of Israel had settled into spiritual complacency, believing that their land and prosperity were secure. Yet, their corruption had made their very dwelling place dangerous. God's warning was clear: comfort without righteousness leads to ruin.* *The Israelites had defiled the land with injustice and idolatry. They exploited the poor, perverted justice, and silenced the voices of truth. Yet, they refused to believe that judgment was coming. Their sense of security was false. Micah's call was not just about physical exile but also about a spiritual awakening.* *This is a message for our generation. Many cling to lifestyles, habits, or environments that have become spiritually toxic. Some remain in relationships, careers, or ideologies that corrupt their faith. The call to "arise and depart" is not always about physical relocation but about spiritual repositioning. God often calls His people to leave behind what is no longer safe for their souls. When we refuse, destruction follows. Israel's refusal to heed this warning led a life devoid of His presence and peace.* *Are there habits, relationships, associations, or mind-sets that you need to leave behind? Spiritual stagnation is as dangerous as physical complacency. When a place, practice, or pursuit no longer aligns with God's will, staying becomes destructive. The believer's true rest is not in earthly security but in God Himself. When He calls us to move, it is always for our preservation. But the devil came and deceived the woman to disobey God, and eventually Adam too disobeyed. When God came down calling for man and asking why they had disobeyed His instruction, the blame game started. Each of them started shifting blame. God who is patient and longsuffering asked the woman to explain what happened, she too pushed the blame to the serpent. If they had simply acknowledged their sinfulness and begged for forgiveness, the human race will not be in the mess we are in today. Their disobedience corrupted and made us dirty before God. We all inherited the nature of sin and wickedness. This is the reason many children often pass off their wrongdoings to others. Some children, even when caught red-handed, will still blame someone else for their disobedience. *God wants us to be humble enough to accept responsibility for our wrongdoings.
