FORGIVEN, ACCEPTED, AND LOVED “So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.” —Ephesians 1:6–8 Because Jesus lives, you can be forgiven of your sins. The Apostle Paul wrote, “So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding” (Ephesians 1:6–8 NLT). That’s important to remember because your spiritual enemy will use guilt to make you question your relationship with the Lord. He will try to convince you that your sin makes you unworthy to be part of God’s family. Remember, though, that everything God has done has been because of His grace, which means “unmerited favor.” You aren’t merely forgiven, justified, and cleansed of your sins; you have been received in love by God Himself. This is because of His deep love for His own Son, Jesus. Because His Son lives in you, you have found His favor. You have the approval of God because of what Jesus has done. Some people have been raised in homes where their father never demonstrated any kind of love toward them. Maybe he was cold and distant. Or maybe, you were raised in a home where there wasn’t a father at all. We can transfer those emotions to God the Father. We can walk around in life feeling as though we don’t have the approval of God. We might think, “If I just did this, God would notice,” or “If I worked a little harder, then God would love me.” But that’s not the kind of Father we’re talking about. The psalmist wrote, “Father to the fatherless, defender of widows—this is God, whose dwelling is holy” (Psalm 68:5 NLT). Paul wrote, “All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ” (Ephesians 1:3 NLT). And James wrote, “Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father” (James 1:17 NLT). God approves of you. You are accepted and loved—not because you read your Bible a little longer, share Christ with more people, or give a little more in the offering. You are still accepted even when you don’t do all of that. You are accepted when you fail, when you slip up, when you give in to a familiar temptation. You are accepted not because of what you have done, but because of what Jesus has done. In understanding this great truth, you should want to do everything for the Lord’s glory—not to earn His approval, but because you already have it. God bless you!

# **DWELLING IN THE SECRET PLACE** There is a difference between **visiting God and living close to God**. Psalm 91:1 says, *“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”* I think of the secret place as that quiet space where you can put everything down for a moment—the things you cannot explain to anyone, the worries you carry into the night, the questions you are afraid to ask out loud. It is where you come before God without pretending that everything is fine. In His presence, you can breathe again. The secret place is not necessarily a particular room, building, or mountain. It is a life of intimacy with God. It may be those early minutes before everyone else wakes up, a quiet corner after a long day, or simply a moment in your car when you turn everything off and talk honestly to God. **To dwell means to remain.** It is more than running to God when life falls apart and then forgetting Him when things become comfortable. It is learning to walk with Him in ordinary days as well as difficult ones. When you make God's presence a regular part of your life, prayer becomes more than an emergency call; it becomes a relationship. Something changes when you spend time with God consistently. Your problems may not disappear overnight, but your perspective begins to change. You become less controlled by fear and less dependent on people's approval. You begin to recognize God's voice, understand His Word more clearly, and make decisions from a place of faith rather than panic. The secret place does not promise a life without trouble; it gives you somewhere to stand when trouble comes. **Psalm 91:2** says, *“I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.’”* Perhaps you have been trying to carry too much on your own. You have been strong for everyone else, answering messages, solving problems, meeting expectations, and quietly wondering who will strengthen you. **Come back to the secret place.** You don't have to arrive with perfect words. Come tired. Come confused. Come grateful. Come disappointed. Just come. God is not asking you to perform; He is inviting you into His presence. Don't make the secret place somewhere you visit only when you are desperate. **Make it your dwelling.** Let prayer become part of your rhythm. Let Scripture shape your thinking. Let worship quiet your heart. And when the storms come—and they will—you will have something deeper than circumstances to hold onto. **You will know where your strength comes from, where your peace is found, and where you can return when everything around you feels uncertain.**

Guard and Renew Your Mind (Romans 12:2) Your mind is a battlefield. Every day, you are exposed to thousands of messages telling you what to believe, what to desire, what success looks like, what happiness should look like, and what you should value. Social media. Music. Movies. Friends. News. Advertisements. The people you follow. The conversations you have. Even the thoughts you repeatedly tell yourself. Over time, these things can influence the way you think without you even realizing it. That's why the Bible says: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Notice the word: Transformed. Following Jesus isn't simply about changing your appearance or using Christian language. Jesus wants to transform the way you think. The way you see yourself. The way you see other people. The way you respond to temptation. The way you handle money. The way you define success. The way you deal with disappointment. The way you make decisions. The way you understand your purpose. The world constantly tells you: “Follow your heart.” But Scripture teaches us to allow God to transform our hearts and minds through His truth. Not every thought you have deserves to be believed. Not every desire should be followed. Not every opinion online deserves your attention. Not every trend deserves your participation. Not every voice deserves influence over your life. You need discernment. Ask yourself: “Is this helping me become more like Christ?” That question can change the way you consume content. Before watching something, ask. Before listening to something repeatedly, ask. Before following someone online, ask. Before joining a conversation, ask. Before accepting a popular opinion, ask: “Does this agree with God's truth?” This doesn't mean you should hide from the world. Jesus called His followers to be lights in the world. But being in the world doesn't mean allowing the world's values to control you. You can use social media without allowing social media to define your worth. You can enjoy entertainment without allowing entertainment to shape your morality. You can learn from people without making people your ultimate authority. You can be aware of culture without becoming controlled by culture. Guard your mind. Because what repeatedly enters your mind eventually influences your heart, your words, and your actions. If you constantly consume negativity, don't be surprised when negativity begins shaping your outlook. If you constantly compare yourself with others, don't be surprised when you become dissatisfied with your own life. If you constantly consume materialism, don't be surprised when you begin believing that possessions determine your value. If you constantly listen to voices that tell you that you're not enough, don't be surprised when insecurity takes root. But the opposite is also true. Fill your mind with God's Word. Fill your mind with truth. Fill your mind with gratitude. Fill your mind with encouragement. Fill your mind with things that strengthen your faith. The more you know God's truth, the easier it becomes to recognize what contradicts it. That's why reading Scripture isn't just a religious routine. It renews your mind. When God's Word says you are created in His image, you don't have to let social media determine your worth. When God's Word says you are loved by God, you don't have to chase everyone's approval. When God's Word says God is with you, you don't have to allow fear to control every decision. When God's Word calls you to forgive, you don't have to allow bitterness to become your identity. When God's Word calls you to purity, you don't have to follow every desire. When God's Word calls you to serve, you don't have to live only for yourself. The battle for your life often begins with the battle for your mind. That's why Proverbs 4:23 tells us: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” Be careful what you allow to take root. And when wrong thoughts enter your mind, don't panic. A thought appearing in your mind isn't the same as choosing to embrace it. Bring it to God. Challenge it with Scripture. Replace lies with truth. Replace fear with faith. Replace bitterness with forgiveness. Replace comparison with gratitude. Replace hopelessness with the promises of God. Replace pride with humility. Replace selfishness with love. This is part of spiritual growth. You don't become more like Christ overnight. It happens as God continually transforms you. Day by day. Thought by thought. Decision by decision. So today, take an honest look at what has been influencing your mind. What are you watching? What are you listening to? Who are you following? What conversations are you constantly participating in? What thoughts do you repeatedly tell yourself? Are these things drawing you closer to Christ—or pulling you away from Him? You don't have to keep consuming something simply because everyone else does. You don't have to follow every trend. You don't have to accept every popular opinion. You have permission to say: “This isn't good for my spiritual life.” Then walk away. Your mind is valuable. Your heart is valuable. Your spiritual life is valuable. Protect them. And most importantly, give them to God. Don't allow the world to shape you more than God's Word does. Let Christ transform you from the inside out. Today, choose one unhealthy influence to reduce and one godly influence to increase. Spend more time in Scripture. Pray. Worship. Choose wise friendships. Consume content that strengthens your faith. And ask God to renew your mind. God Sees What Nobody Else Sees (Matthew 6:4) Have you ever done something good and nobody noticed? You helped someone, but nobody thanked you. You worked hard, but someone else received the recognition. You prayed for someone privately, but they never knew. You remained faithful when walking away would have been easier. You chose integrity when nobody would have known if you had compromised. Sometimes it can feel discouraging. We naturally want to be recognized. We want someone to say: “Well done.” “I appreciate you.” “I saw what you did.” But Jesus reminds us of something powerful: God sees. In Matthew 6, Jesus teaches about giving, praying, and serving without doing these things simply to receive recognition from people. He reminds us that our heavenly Father sees what is done in secret. That means your quiet faithfulness matters. The prayer nobody heard matters. The kindness nobody noticed matters. The sacrifice nobody applauded matters. The temptation you resisted when nobody was watching matters. The decision to tell the truth when lying would have benefited you matters. The time you spent encouraging someone matters. The work you do with excellence even when your supervisor isn't watching matters. God sees it all. We live in a culture that often measures success by visibility. How many people saw it? How many likes did it receive? How many followers did it attract? How many people applauded? But God's measurement system is different. He looks at the heart. You can have thousands of people watching you and still have the wrong motives. You can also serve quietly with nobody watching and deeply honour God. Jesus Himself often withdrew from crowds to pray. He wasn't constantly seeking attention. He knew His identity came from the Father. And that's something we need to learn too. You don't have to perform for people when you are secure in God's approval. This doesn't mean recognition is always bad. Encouragement is good. Appreciation is good. Celebrating someone's achievement is good. But don't allow applause to become the reason you do what is right. If people praise you, remain humble. If they don't, remain faithful. If people notice, thank God. If they overlook you, keep going. Your reward isn't ultimately determined by people's opinions. There may be moments when your work feels invisible. A parent caring for a family. A student studying late at night. A worker doing an honest job. A Christian quietly serving at church. Someone praying for their family every morning. Someone choosing purity in a culture that celebrates compromise. Someone forgiving instead of seeking revenge. Someone sharing Jesus with a friend who is struggling. The world may never know the full story. But God does. Don't underestimate the power of hidden faithfulness. A tree grows from roots that most people never see. In the same way, some of the most important things God is doing in your life may be happening beneath the surface. Your character is developing. Your faith is becoming stronger. Your patience is growing. Your relationship with God is deepening. Your obedience is being tested. And one day, the fruit may become visible. So don't quit simply because nobody is applauding. Don't compromise simply because nobody seems to care. Don't stop doing good because someone else received the credit. Don't abandon your calling because your work isn't immediately recognized. Be faithful. Do what is right. Serve with the right heart. Love people. Obey God. And leave recognition in His hands. Remember Joseph. He served faithfully even when he was in prison. There was no glamorous platform. No crowd cheering for him. No obvious evidence that his future would become great. But God was with him. Eventually, God opened the door at the right time. Your current position may not be your final destination. Your hidden season may be preparing you for something you cannot see yet. So keep planting. Keep serving. Keep praying. Keep learning. Keep doing good. And don't forget: God sees what people don't see. Your heavenly Father knows your heart. He knows your motives. He knows your sacrifices. He knows your struggles. He knows the battles you fight privately. And His approval is worth more than the applause of the world. You don't need everyone to notice your faithfulness. You only need to remain faithful to the One who sees everything. Today, do one good thing without expecting recognition. Help someone. Encourage someone. Pray for someone. Serve quietly. Give generously. And don't worry about whether anyone notices. God sees. TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS: SERMON TOPIC: 6 SIGNS SOMEONE ISN’T REALLY CHRISTIAN. “A Christian by Name, or a Christian by Nature?” Text: Matthew 7:21–23; 2 Corinthians 13:5; 1 John 2:3–6 🔥 NOT EVERYONE WHO SAYS “LORD” KNOWS THE LORD. There is a dangerous assumption in Christianity today: “If someone goes to church, carries a Bible, posts Bible verses, sings worship songs, or calls Jesus ‘Lord,’ then that person must be a Christian.” But Jesus warned us that this is not always true. > “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.” — Matthew 7:2 That statement should make every one of us pause. Jesus did not say, “Not everyone who attends church.” He said, “Not everyone who says, ‘Lord, Lord.’” This means it is possible to have Christian language without Christian life. It is possible to have a Bible in your hand but not have Christ in your heart. It is possible to be active in church but inactive in obedience. It is possible to know Christian songs without knowing Christ. And therefore, the question today is not: “Do people think I am a Christian?” The question is: “Does my life give evidence that I truly belong to Christ?” This message is not designed to judge other people. It is a mirror before it becomes a weapon. Before you examine your neighbor, examine yourself. LOOK AT THE 6 SIGNS:- 1. THEY HAVE NO GENUINE DESIRE TO OBEY CHRIST. A genuine Christian is not perfect, but there is a genuine desire to please God. Jesus said: > “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” — John 14:15 Obedience does not save us; Christ saves us. But genuine salvation produces a desire to obey the One who saved us. Someone may say: > “Jesus is my Lord.” But if Jesus is truly Lord, He must have authority over your decisions. You cannot continually say: “Jesus is Lord,” while your lifestyle says: “I am my own lord.” Important distinction A true Christian can fall into sin. But there is a difference between: falling into sin and building your life around sin. There is a difference between: > “Lord, I have failed. Forgive me.” and: > “I know it is wrong, but I don't care.” The first demonstrates repentance. The second demonstrates rebellion. 2. THEY HAVE NO EVIDENCE OF SPIRITUAL FRUIT. Jesus said: > “Ye shall know them by their fruits.” — Matthew 7:16 Notice that Jesus did not say: “You shall know them by their clothes.” He did not say: “You shall know them by their church attendance.” He said: “By their fruits.” What is growing in your life? Is there increasing love? Is there increasing patience? Is there forgiveness? Is there humility? Is there self-control? Is there compassion? Is there holiness? Galatians 5:22–23 describes the fruit of the Spirit. A genuine Christian should show evidence of spiritual transformation. Not perfection. Transformation. If someone has been claiming Christ for years but there is absolutely no evidence of Christlike character, that should lead to serious self-examination. 3. THEY LOVE THE WORLD MORE THAN THEY LOVE GOD. 1 John 2:15 says: > “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.” The Bible is not saying Christians cannot enjoy God's creation, work hard, have possessions, or live normal lives. The warning is about worldliness becoming the master of the heart. When money becomes more important than righteousness... When popularity becomes more important than holiness... When sexual pleasure becomes more important than obedience... When social media approval becomes more important than God's approval... When material possessions become our identity... Something is wrong. Jesus asked: > “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” — Mark 8:36 A Christian lives in the world, but the world must not live in the Christian's heart. 4. THEY HAVE NO LOVE FOR OTHER BELIEVERS. This is one of the strongest biblical tests. 1 John 3:14 says: > “He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.” Christianity is not merely about loving God with our lips. It also affects how we treat people. You cannot continually hate everyone, refuse forgiveness, enjoy destroying people's reputations, and then claim that your relationship with Christ is healthy. Jesus said: > “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” — John 13:35 Love does not mean allowing people to abuse you. Love does not mean approving everything people do. Love means treating people with the character of Christ. Ask yourself: How do I treat people who cannot benefit me? How do I treat those who disagree with me? How do I respond when someone succeeds? Can I forgive? Can I apologize? Can I celebrate another person's progress? Because sometimes the greatest evidence of Christianity is not what happens inside the church building, but how we behave outside it. 5. THEY ONLY FOLLOW JESUS WHEN IT IS CONVENIENT. Some people want Jesus as Savior but refuse Him as Lord. They want: Blessing without obedience. Breakthrough without discipline. Promises without repentance. Heaven without holiness. The crown without the cross. But Jesus said: > “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” — Luke 9:23 Following Christ will sometimes cost you something. It may cost you a relationship. It may cost you an opportunity. It may cost you popularity. It may cost you comfort. It may require you to say: “No.” when everybody else is saying: “Yes.” A genuine disciple does not follow Jesus only when following Him is profitable. Real Christianity is tested when obedience becomes costly. 6. THEY HAVE CHRISTIAN KNOWLEDGE BUT NO PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST. This may be the most frightening sign. A person can know about Jesus without actually knowing Jesus. You can memorize Scripture. You can preach sermons. You can sing worship songs. You can teach Sunday school. You can even perform religious activities. And still have a heart far from God. Jesus said in Matthew 7:23: > “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Those are terrifying words. Notice something: Jesus did not say: “You never knew about Me.” He said: “I never knew you.” Christianity is not merely information about Christ. It is relationship with Christ. You can know the Bible and not obey the Author. You can know Christian vocabulary and not know the Savior. You can sit in church every Sunday and still be spiritually lost. 📖 BIBLICAL CASE STUDY: JUDAS ISCARIOT One of the most sobering examples is Judas. Judas walked with Jesus. He heard Jesus teach. He witnessed miracles. He was among the disciples. He participated in ministry. Yet his heart was not surrendered to Christ. Eventually, he betrayed Jesus. This teaches us something uncomfortable: Being close to Christian activity does not automatically mean being close to Christ. You can be around the fire and still be cold inside. You can be around worship and still have an unconverted heart. You can be around pastors and still need salvation. You can be a church worker and still need Jesus. Therefore, don't ask: “How long have I been in church?” Ask: “Has Christ truly transformed my life?” 🔥 A DEEP SPIRITUAL TRUTH. Salvation is not proven by perfection; it is evidenced by transformation. The Christian life is not: > “I never make mistakes.” It is: > “I no longer want to remain the person I used to be.” When Christ enters a person's life, something begins to change. Their desires begin to change. Their priorities begin to change. Their relationships begin to change. Their attitude toward sin begins to change. Their hunger for God's Word begins to change. Their response to correction begins to change. Their heart begins to change. That is the work of grace. 🛠️ PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS. 1. Examine yourself Paul says: > “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith.” — 2 Corinthians 13:5 Don't only examine your neighbor. Examine yourself. 2. Repent where necessary Don't defend what God is asking you to surrender. If the Holy Spirit reveals something, repent. 3. Return to God's Word Don't build your Christianity around social media quotes. Build it around Scripture. Read it. Study it. Believe it. Practice it. 4. Develop a genuine prayer life Prayer is not merely asking God for things. Prayer is relationship. Talk to God. Listen to God. Seek His will. 5. Look for spiritual fruit Ask: “Am I becoming more like Christ?” Not: “Am I better than someone else?” 6. Make Jesus Lord, not merely Savior Don't only ask Jesus to rescue you from hell. Ask Him to rule your heart. 🤔 QUESTIONS FOR PERSONAL REFLECTION. 1. If someone watched my life for 30 days, would they see evidence of Christ? 2. Do I obey God only when obedience benefits me? 3. What fruit of the Spirit is growing in my life? 4. How do I treat people who cannot reward me? 5. Have I genuinely repented of my sins, or have I simply learned Christian language? 6. Do I know Jesus personally, or do I only know about Him? 🙏 POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS 1. Prayer of Examination Father, search my heart and reveal anything in me that is not pleasing to You. 2. Prayer of Repentance Lord Jesus, wherever I have lived in disobedience, forgive me and give me grace to turn completely back to You. 3. Prayer for Transformation Holy Spirit, transform my character and produce Your fruit in my life. 4. Prayer for Genuine Faith Father, remove every form of hypocrisy from my life. Let my Christianity be genuine, not merely outward. 5. Prayer for Love Lord, give me grace to love people sincerely, forgive quickly, and represent Christ correctly. 6. Prayer for Perseverance Jesus, when following You becomes difficult, give me strength not to turn back. 7. Prayer for Spiritual Hunger Lord, give me a deeper hunger for Your Word, prayer, holiness, and Your presence. 🔥 STRONG CLOSING: DON'T JUST WEAR THE NAME—CARRY THE NATURE. Church, the greatest question is not: “Am I called a Christian?” The greatest question is: “Does Christ truly live in me?” Don't be satisfied because your name is on a church register. Don't be satisfied because you have a Bible. Don't be satisfied because you attend Christian programs. Don't be satisfied because you can quote Scripture. Don't be satisfied because people call you “Brother” or “Sister.” Make sure you know Jesus. If you have drifted, come back. If you have been pretending, repent. If your faith has become merely religious, return to Christ. If you have never truly surrendered your life to Jesus, today is the day to surrender. Because one day, every religious mask will fall. Every title will disappear. Every reputation will disappear. Every earthly achievement will disappear. And we will stand before Christ. So let our prayer be: > “Lord Jesus, make me a genuine Christian—not merely a Christian by name, but a Christian by nature, character, faith, obedience, and love.” Don't just carry the Bible. Live the Bible. Don't just talk about Jesus. Follow Jesus. Don't just wear the name Christian. Let Christ be seen in you. May our lives preach the Gospel even when our mouths are silent. 10 PRACTICAL WAYS TO GAIN BACK YOUR CONFIDENCE Have you ever looked at yourself and felt like you lost the confident person you used to be? Confidence can be rebuilt. You don't have to become someone else—you can gradually reconnect with yourself. 1. KEEP SMALL PROMISES TO YOURSELF Start doing what you say you will do. Every promise you keep builds trust in yourself. 2. STOP COMPARING YOUR JOURNEY Someone else's progress doesn't mean you are failing. Focus on your own growth. 3. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF Sleep well, stay clean, dress in a way that makes you feel comfortable, and take care of your daily routine. Self-care can improve how you carry yourself. 4. LEARN SOMETHING NEW Competence builds confidence. Pick a skill and practice it consistently. 5. SPEAK TO YOURSELF WITH RESPECT Don't constantly remind yourself of your mistakes. Correct yourself, learn, and keep moving. 6. DO ONE THING THAT SCARES YOU—SAFELY Start small. Speak up in a discussion, introduce yourself, ask a question, or try something new. 7. STOP WAITING FOR EVERYONE'S APPROVAL You won't always please everybody. Learn to make healthy decisions based on your values and goals. 8. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH ENCOURAGING PEOPLE Spend more time around people who inspire growth and less time around people who constantly put you down. 9. CELEBRATE YOUR PROGRESS Don't wait until you reach the finish line before acknowledging yourself. Every step forward matters. 10. GIVE YOURSELF TIME Confidence isn't rebuilt overnight. Be patient with yourself and keep showing up. Remember: Confidence isn't about believing you're perfect. It's about knowing that even when you make mistakes, you can learn, grow, and keep going. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment. ¹⁰ So then, banish anxiety from your heart and cast off the troubles of your body, for youth and vigor are meaningless. —————————— I think one of the biggest misconceptions people have about this verse is that God is against fun. But when I read it, I see the opposite. This verse acknowledges something beautiful: youth is a gift. It's a season filled with energy, dreams, curiosity, friendships, first experiences, and countless opportunities. It's the season where we create memories we'll laugh about years from now and mistakes we'll hopefully learn from too. God isn't telling us to sit in a corner and wait for life to happen. He tells us to rejoice. To enjoy the season we're in. To appreciate the people around us. To embrace the opportunities in front of us. But He also gives a reminder that hits differently: "Know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment." In other words, enjoy life, but don't forget that your choices matter. Not every opportunity is a good opportunity. Not every trend is worth following. Not every desire deserves to be chased. In a world that constantly says, "Do whatever makes you happy," this verse reminds me to ask a different question: "Will this make me proud of the person I'm becoming?" Because youth isn't just about having fun. It's about building a life. The habits we form today become our character tomorrow. The decisions we make today shape the future version of ourselves. That's why Ecclesiastes 12:1 continues with this reminder: "Remember your Creator in the days of your youth." I think the wisdom still applies to everybody: Enjoy your life. Take the trip. Make the memories. Laugh until your stomach hurts. Love the people around you. But don't lose yourself trying to fit in. Don't trade your values for temporary approval. Don't sacrifice your future for a moment of pleasure. God doesn't want us to waste our youth chasing things that won't last. He wants us to enjoy life while walking closely with Him. So yes, have fun. Make memories. Laugh a lot. But don't forget the One who gave you those moments One day, our youth will become a memory. And when that day comes, I hope we can look back and say: "I didn't spend my youth perfectly, but I spent it meaningfully." Because years from now, I don't just want to remember that I enjoyed my youth. I want to remember that I spent it with Jesus. 🧡

29 August When Fear Speaks, Trust God Proverbs 29:25 (AMP) “The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in and puts his confidence in the LORD will be safe and set on high.” Fear of people can become one of the quietest traps in our lives. We can become so concerned about what others think, say, or expect from us that we slowly surrender the freedom God has given us. The fear of rejection can make us compromise. The fear of criticism can keep us silent. The fear of disappointing others can cause us to say yes when God is asking us to say no. The fear of people can make us chase approval that only God can truly satisfy. Proverbs 29:25 reminds us that the fear of man is a snare. A snare is designed to capture and restrict. Fear may promise to protect us from rejection or embarrassment, but it can actually imprison our hearts. Yet there is another way: trust the Lord. When our confidence is placed in God, we no longer have to build our identity around people's opinions. We can remember that God knows our hearts, sees our motives, and holds our future. His approval is greater than human applause. You may be facing a decision today where fear is asking, “What will they think?” God may be asking you instead, “Will you trust Me?” Choose trust. You don't need everyone to understand your obedience. You don't need everyone's approval to walk in God's purpose. And you don't need to know exactly how everything will work out before you take the next step with Him. Prayer Father, I surrender every fear of people, rejection, criticism, and disappointment to You. Help me to stop living for the approval of others and to place my confidence completely in You. Give me courage to obey You even when it is uncomfortable. Remind me that my security is not found in people's opinions but in Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Keep my heart anchored in You, and lead me boldly in the path You have prepared for me. In Jesus' name, amen. Today’s Declaration I will not be controlled by the fear of people. My confidence is in the Lord. I am secure in Him, courageous in faith, and free to obey His voice.
