  • The Three Angels Message
    THE FIRST ANGEL’S MESSAGE
FEAR GOD AND GIVE GLORY TO HIM

In Revelation 14 we see three angels with a final warning to the world. The first angel shouts to us, “Fear God and give glory to Him….”

Fearing God means to show Him respect. We show respect by showing reverence to His house, our church, the sanctuary. We show respect when we listen to our pastors and participate in our church, carrying an office, doing our part, even if we are simply sweeping the threshold.. We show respect when we defend God’s name, when we show let others know we love God. We show reverence when we obey God’s law, John 14:15.

“For the hour of His judgement is come”….Yes, it is an hour of judgement for God. God’s name and honor are at stake in this final controversy. Will the earth and its inhabitants recognize God as the Lord of this earth? Or will they wander and wonder after the beast? (Who ultimately represents Satan.)

Will the judge of the earth do right? Yes, God wasn’t willing to destroy Sodom if ten righteous people could be found there. As the seven last plagues are poured out, we see God praised for his righteous judgements.

As the plagues show, the earth is under judgement, with the wicked inhabitants unrepentant. As we consider the judgement scene of Daniel 7, we see judgement is rendered in behalf of the saints and they will ultimately regain the lost dominion of the earth. Praise the Lord!

  • The Story of Abraham in the Bible

    Introduction

Abraham is one of the most important people in the Bible. He is remembered as a man of faith, obedience, and trust in God. His story is found mainly in the book of Genesis, chapters 12–25.

Abraham was originally called Abram. God called him to leave his homeland and go to a land that God would show him. God promised to make him a great nation and to bless all the families of the earth through him.

    God Calls Abraham

One day, God spoke to Abram and said:

«“Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.”»

God promised Abram that He would make him into a great nation, bless him, make his name great, and make him a blessing to others.

Abram obeyed God. He left his homeland with his wife, Sarai, and his nephew Lot, and they traveled toward the land of Canaan.

When Abram arrived in Canaan, God appeared to him and promised to give that land to his descendants.

    Abraham and Lot

As Abram and Lot became wealthy, their servants began arguing because there was not enough land for all their animals.

Abram did not want conflict. He gave Lot the opportunity to choose where he wanted to live.

Lot chose the fertile area near Sodom, while Abram remained in the land of Canaan.

After Lot separated from him, God renewed His promise to Abram. God told him that his descendants would be as numerous as the dust of the earth.

    God Promises a Son

Although Abram was growing older, he still had no child. He wondered how God's promise of a great nation could come true.

God told him that he would have a son of his own and that his descendants would be extremely numerous.

Abram believed God, and the Bible says that his faith was counted to him as righteousness.

God also changed his name from Abram to Abraham, meaning “father of a multitude,” and changed Sarai's name to Sarah.

    The Birth of Isaac

Abraham and Sarah waited many years for the promised child.

When Abraham was 100 years old and Sarah was very old, God fulfilled His promise. Sarah gave birth to a son, and they named him Isaac.

The birth of Isaac brought great joy to Abraham and Sarah because God had kept His promise despite the long years of waiting.

    Abraham Is Tested

One of the greatest tests of Abraham's faith came when God commanded him to offer Isaac as a sacrifice.

Abraham obeyed and took Isaac to the place God had shown him. Isaac did not understand what was going to happen, but Abraham continued in faith.

Just as Abraham was about to sacrifice his son, an angel of the Lord stopped him.

God provided a ram caught in a thicket as a sacrifice instead.

Through this test, Abraham demonstrated his willingness to trust and obey God even when he did not understand God's plan.

God then reaffirmed His promise to bless Abraham and multiply his descendants.

    Abraham's Later Years

Abraham continued to live as a man of faith. After Sarah died, he made arrangements for her burial.

Abraham later married Keturah and had more children, but Isaac remained the son through whom God's covenant promise would continue.

Abraham eventually died at the age of 175. His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him beside Sarah.

    The Legacy of Abraham

Abraham's story is one of faith and obedience. He did not always understand what God was doing, but he continued to trust God's promises.

His life teaches us several important lessons:

    1. Trust God even when you cannot see the whole plan.
    2. Obey God when He calls you to something difficult.
    3. Be patient while waiting for God's promises.
    4. Faith sometimes requires sacrifice.
    5. God is faithful to His promises.

Abraham became known as a great man of faith, and his story continues to inspire millions of people around the world.

The story of Abraham reminds us that when God makes a promise, we can trust Him—even when the answer takes longer than we expected.

  • EVIL DOERS AROUND NATIONS — GOD'S JUDGEMENT OF CORRECTION NOW SUBJECTED ON YOU

1 Pet 4:17 — For time has come for judgment to begin at house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be end of those who do not obey gospel of God?

Hear me, evil doers — workers of iniquity — around nations — altars of darkness — voices — persecutors — lovers of sin.

God has judged His house first — and finished.

You saw Red 7 vision l saw in sky after vanished was first a disciplinary action of suffering , which was subjected on me His house that l had fallen. and I repented as his house of my fall + shame before God & got cleansed by his blood. 1john1:7 & his word in eph5:26-27 which made me pure before God. 1Tim4:5. Thus this discplined me, corrected me & restored holiness back to me— born again — true Israel — Believer not practising sin. His word says in 1peter4:17-18 after this judgement of correction made on His house-- me & done . Now subjected to evil doers now.. thus repent, obey & live pure before God through faith in Christ or refuse will perish in sin.

My hedge was bleached — not removed — to test — to purify.

Job 2:6 — Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.

I was wounded — motorcycle, dog, flesh torn — but not given to death — Ps 118:18 — Lord chastened me severely, but has not given me over to death.

My faith was tested by fire — 1 Pet 1:7 — but failed NOT — gold came out pure — Job 23:10 — I shall come forth as gold.

Red No.7 means complete — John 19:30 — It is finished. My correction is done.

NOW YOUR TURN — JUDGEMENT OF CORRECTION NOW ON YOU

1 Pet 4:17 — if it begins with us first, what will be end of you?

Because God finished with His house, He now turns to you.

Your judgement of correction is now set — now subjected on you — this is order of God — Ezek 18:30 — Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin.

This is not accident — this is ORDER on you.

And hear warning: This punishment to you will be harsher than that subjected on His house.

Luke 12:47-48 — that servant who knew his master's will, and did not prepare... shall be beaten with many stripes. For everyone to whom much is given, much will be required.

To His house — bleach hedge — wound — but spare life — to preserve for calling.

To you evil doers — many stripes — because you knew — you built altars — you sent voices — Eph 6:12 — you fought calling that fights Satan — 1 John 3:8 — you persecuted to make calling fail — Rev 12:17 — you knew.

To me — chastening of son — Heb 12:6 — whom Lord loves He chastens.

To you — wrath of judge — Heb 12:8 — if you are without chastening... then you are illegitimate and not sons.

Matt 10:15 — it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in day of judgment than for that city.
Heb 10:29 — Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled Son of God underfoot?

Voices — of evil altars — the motorcycle accident — dog hit in accident— God counted them.

Now unless you repent and live pure before God through faith in Christ, harsher correction falls — disease beyond wound — torment beyond voices — shame beyond nakedness — loss beyond flesh — Ps 11:6 — Upon wicked He will rain coals; fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be portion of their cup.

    WHAT GOD DEMANDS NOW:

Repent — Acts 17:30 — God now commands all men everywhere to repent.

Believe in faith — 1 John 1:7 — blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin — 1 Tim 4:5 — sanctified by Word and prayer.

Live pure — Rev 14:4-5 — These are ones not defiled... without fault before throne of God — 1 John 3:9 — whoever born of God does not practice sin.

Be true Israel — not practising sin — Matt 6:33 — seek first Kingdom and His righteousness, and much more shall be added.

IF YOU REFUSE — JUDGEMENT OF DESTRUCTION FOLLOWS

If you refuse to repent now in this correction — judgement of destruction is already appointed.

Prov 11:21 — Though hand join in hand, wicked shall not go unpunished.
1 Pet 4:18 — If righteous one scarcely saved, where will ungodly and sinner appear?
2 Thess 1:8-9 — In flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from presence of Lord.
Rev 20:15 — Anyone not found written in Book of Life was cast into lake of fire.
Gal 6:7 — Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; whatever man sows, that he will reap.

  • “Don’t let yesterday’s burden become today’s barrier to tomorrow’s miracle.”

Hebrews 12:1 — “Let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares us…”

This verse tells us not only to lay aside sin, but also to lay aside “every weight.” Because burdens can become a definite hindrance to reaching the purpose and destiny God has set before us.

If we continue carrying the wounds, disappointments, rejection, failures, guilt, bitterness, worries, and the inability to forgive others from our past, we cannot run with complete faith on the new path God has placed before us.

God brought Lot and his family out of destruction. As they left Sodom, God clearly commanded them not to look back.

But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.
    (Genesis 19:26)

Her feet were moving forward, but her heart was being pulled backward.

This is also a warning for us.

God may have brought you out of an old situation. But if you continue carrying old wounds and memories, your body may move forward while your heart remains stuck in the past.

    Run away from sin.
    Lay your burdens before God.
Stop constantly dwelling on the past, and run toward the future God has prepared for you.

Your past does not have to become the verdict of your future. God still has a path for you; there is still a race to run, a goal to reach, and a miracle ahead of you.

Don’t carry yesterday’s burden while running toward tomorrow’s miracle. Lay it at the feet of God and run!

When the burden becomes lighter, the race becomes faster.
When the heart is set free, faith becomes stronger.

The moment you surrender your burden to God can become the beginning of your new race!

    TOPIC: FEAR GOD, PART 2

    MEMORIZE:
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Proverbs 1:7 (KJV)

    BIBLE READING: DANIEL 1:8-20
8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.

10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.

11 Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,

12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.

13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.

14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.

15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.

16 Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.

17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

18 Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.

19 And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.

20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.

    MESSAGE:
Yesterday, I discussed some benefits of having the fear of God, and today I will discuss how having the fear of God can give you access to the secrets of His heart.

The Bible says in Psalm 25:14 that the secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and He will reveal His covenant to them. God shares His secrets with those who fear Him, just like we humans tend to confide in those who believe in us and hold us in high regard.

Abraham was someone who feared the Lord, and in turn, he was given access to the secrets of God's heart. When God wanted to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, He said, "...Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do," (Genesis 18:17). God can only say such about the people who fear Him because He knows that they will cherish His secrets.

Daniel was another person who gained tremendous insights because of how he feared and honoured God. He was taken into captivity at a young age, but his fear of the Lord led him to remain faithful to Him. The Bible says in Daniel 1:8 that he purposed in his heart not to defile himself with the portion of the king's meat. He honoured God by being faithful to Him even in a foreign land and also led his companions to do the same. God, in turn, honoured his decision by making him and his companions ten times better than their peers (Daniel 1:20). When the king had a dream that none of the magicians in the land could tell or interpret, God revealed it to Daniel (Daniel 2:19).

Beloved, when you fear God, you will never lack spiritual knowledge and insight because God will always make sure that you have access to it. Today's memory verse says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, and Psalm 111:10 also says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Everyone who feared the Lord in the Bible had access to uncommon knowledge. If you want to access that kind of knowledge, you have to fear God. If you want God to give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches in secret places, just as He promised in Isaiah 45:3, you must honour Him with your thoughts, decisions, and actions. I pray that the Almighty God will give you access to the secrets of His heart as you honour Him with your life, in Jesus' name.

    KEY POINT:
Those who fear God have access to uncommon insights and knowledge.

Proverbs 1:7 (KJV) BIBLE READING: DANIEL 1:8-20 8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. 11 Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, 12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink. MESSAGE: Yesterday, I discussed some benefits of having the fear of God, and today I will discuss how having the fear of God can give you access to the secrets of His heart. KEY POINT: Those who fear God have access to uncommon insights and knowledge. BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: EZEKIEL 9 - 12 AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE HYMNAL 23 - ALL TO JESUS I SURRENDER 1. • We are living in days when contending for the faith seems like foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved we know this is the power of God.
Jude Reminds us not only to celebrate our fellowships but also to contend for what we believe in .

    Remember these points
    1. Contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.” — Jude 1:3
To contend means to earnestly stand for, protect, and defend the truth of the Gospel.
    2. Know the faith you are defending — Jude 1:3
You cannot contend for truth if you don't know the truth.
    3. Recognize that the faith was entrusted to the church — Jude 1:3
The Gospel is a sacred responsibility, not something to be casually changed.
    4. Contend because false teaching exists — Jude 1:4
Jude connects the call to contend directly with false teachers entering among believers.
    5. Don't allow God's grace to be distorted — Jude 1:4
Grace must never be turned into permission for immorality.
    6. Don't compromise Christ's lordship — Jude 1:4
Jesus is not merely Savior; He is Lord.
Remember biblical examples — Jude 1:5–11
Jude uses Israel, rebellious angels, Sodom and Gomorrah, Cain, Balaam, and Korah to show what happens when God's truth and authority are rejected.
    7. Don't be intimidated by ungodliness — Jude 1:14–15
Jude reminds believers that God will ultimately judge ungodliness.
    8. Remember the apostles' teaching — Jude 1:17–18
The church contends by remaining anchored in what the apostles taught.
    9. Build yourself spiritually while contending — Jude 1:20
Contending is not merely arguing with others; it begins with strengthening your own faith.
    10. Pray while you contend — Jude 1:20
The battle for truth is not won by human arguments alone. Jude connects contending with praying in the Holy Spirit.
    11. Remain in God's love — Jude 1:21
Standing for truth must never cause us to abandon God's love.
    12. Rescue people rather than merely condemn them — Jude 1:22–23
The goal is not simply to prove someone wrong. Some need mercy; others need urgent rescue.

    Note
    The heart of Jude's message
Discern what is false → Contend for what is true → Remain faithful → Rescue those who are being led astray.

  • Daily Bible Lesson.
WE ASK GOD FOR MORE LIGHT—THEN MAKE EXCUSES WHEN HIS LIGHT REQUIRES CHANGE

“Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice.” — 1 Samuel 15:22

    We pray:

    “Lord, show me Your will.”

Then His light touches something we love—

our time, appetite, appearance, character, location, or tongue—

    and suddenly:

    “My situation is different.”
    “Everyone does it.”
    “I'm not convicted.”

Perhaps our greatest problem is not always lack of light.

IT IS THE HUMAN HEART'S AMAZING ABILITY TO EXPLAIN AWAY THE LIGHT IT DOES NOT WANT TO OBEY.

    Jesus asks:

“Why call ye Me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” — Luke 6:46

So here is the question beneath every reform:

ARE WE SEEKING GOD'S WILL—OR ASKING GOD TO APPROVE OURS?

    ---

① SABBATH REFORM—WHO OWNS YOUR TIME?

    THE EXCUSES:

    “I have to work.”
    “Most Christians worship Sunday.”
    “God knows my heart.”

    Yes—God knows the heart.

    And Jesus says:

“If ye love Me, keep My commandments.” — John 14:15

    God's command still reads:

“The seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God.” — Exodus 20:10

Obedience may cost convenience, approval, opportunity—even income.

    But faith asks something deeper:

    WHAT IS JESUS WORTH?

“We ought to obey God rather than men.” — Acts 5:29

Do not merely argue for the Sabbath.

KNOW THE LORD OF THE SABBATH—and ask Him for faith to walk in His footsteps.

    ---

② HEALTH REFORM—HAS APPETITE RENAMED ITSELF “NECESSITY”?

    THE EXCUSES:

    “My body needs it.”
    “I've always eaten this way.”
“We're all going to die anyway.”

But this body is not ours to abuse.

“Ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.” — 1 Corinthians 6:20

“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink… do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31

Health reform is not salvation by menu.

It is stewardship of a body purchased by Christ.

Inspiration warns of those who “frame excuses and make necessities which have no existence” while resisting health light. — Counsels on Diet and Foods, p. 399

    What a warning:

APPETITE IS A TERRIBLE COUNSELOR WHEN ASKED TO JUDGE ITS OWN HABITS.

    Stop asking only:

    “Do I enjoy it?”

    Ask:

“WILL THIS KEEP MY BODY AND MIND FIT FOR CHRIST'S SERVICE?”

    ---

③ DRESS REFORM—WHO ARE WE TRYING TO PLEASE?

    THE EXCUSES:

    “It's only fashion.”
“God only looks at the heart.”
“I don't want to look different.”

    Yes:

“The LORD looketh on the heart.” — 1 Samuel 16:7

    And Scripture also calls for:

    “Modest apparel.” — 1 Timothy 2:9

    The issue is not ugliness.

    Not neglect.

    Not a religious uniform.

    The question is:

WHO IS SHAPING MY APPEARANCE—CHRIST OR THE WORLD?

Christian dress should reflect modesty, simplicity, health, dignity, and good taste without making self the attraction.

CLOTHING CANNOT SAVE THE HEART—BUT THE MASTER OF THE HEART WILL INFLUENCE THE CLOTHING.

    Let your appearance quietly testify:

    “I BELONG TO CHRIST.”

    ---

    ④ CHARACTER REFORM—“THAT'S JUST HOW I AM.”

Perhaps no excuse protects cherished defects more effectively.

    Anger becomes “my personality.”
    Pride becomes “confidence.”
    Bitterness becomes “what they deserve.”

    Then comes the universal shield:

    “Nobody is perfect.”

    True.

But Jesus never made imperfection an excuse for refusing transformation.

“If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 2:5

Christ does not merely forgive us in the old life.

    HE BEGINS MAKING US NEW.

“When the character of Christ shall be perfectly reproduced in His people, then He will come to claim them as His own.” — Christ's Object Lessons, p. 69

    Stop defending your defect with:

    “THAT'S WHO I AM.”

    Bring it to Jesus:

    “LORD, MAKE ME LIKE YOU.”

    ---

⑤ LOCATION REFORM—WHY DID INSPIRATION CRY, “OUT OF THE CITIES”?

    Here excuses become painfully practical:

    “My job is here.”
    “My children's opportunities are here.”
“I'll move when everything becomes convenient.”

    Yet Inspiration repeatedly urged:

“Out of the cities, out of the cities! This is the message the Lord has been giving me.” — Country Living, p. 29

    Why?

    Not because soil saves souls.

But country surroundings can favor health, simplicity, useful labor, children learning from nature, greater separation from corrupting influences, and preparation for difficult times.

God's first home for humanity was not a congested metropolis.

“The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden.” — Genesis 2:8

    Abraham lived as a pilgrim.

Lot “pitched his tent toward Sodom.” — Genesis 13:12

    Their stories remind us:

LOCATION CANNOT CONVERT THE HEART—BUT ENVIRONMENT CAN POWERFULLY INFLUENCE IT.

    Yet Inspiration also counseled:

“Out of the cities; but not a moment before God would have us go.” — Country Living, p. 26

    So the message is not:

    PANIC AND RUN.

    It is:

    PRAY.
    PREPARE.
    SIMPLIFY.
    LEARN.
    WATCH PROVIDENCE.
AND WHEN GOD OPENS THE WAY—OBEY.

    And remember:

YOU CAN LEAVE BABYLON GEOGRAPHICALLY WHILE BABYLON STILL LIVES IN YOUR HEART.

    Christ's first relocation project is:

SELF OFF THE THRONE—CHRIST ON IT.

    ---

⑥ SPEECH REFORM—CAN A CONVERTED HEART KEEP AN UNCONVERTED TONGUE?

    Here the excuses sound innocent:

    “I'm only joking.”
    “But it's true!”
“I just needed to release my feelings.”

    Scripture answers:

“Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting… but rather giving of thanks.” — Ephesians 5:4

“Speak evil of no man.” — Titus 3:2

    And instead:

“That which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” — Ephesians 4:29

    Imagine that standard:

    WORDS THAT MINISTER GRACE.

    No gossip.

    No slander.

    No degrading jesting.

    No cutting sarcasm.

    No dishonest flattery.

No spreading bitterness from heart to heart.

“Bless, and curse not.” — Romans 12:14

This does not mean hiding wrongdoing.

    Jesus rebuked sin.

    Nathan confronted David.

    Paul corrected churches.

Truth sometimes must hurt before it heals.

    But Scripture says:

“Speaking the truth in love.” — Ephesians 4:15

    Before speaking, ask:

    IS IT TRUE?
    IS IT NECESSARY?
    IS IT LOVING?
WILL IT BUILD RATHER THAN POISON?
WOULD I SAY IT THIS WAY IN THE VISIBLE PRESENCE OF JESUS?

“Let the law of kindness be upon your lips and the oil of grace in your heart.” — Christ's Object Lessons, p. 337

    What a standard:

    **TRUTH ON THE LIPS.

    GRACE IN THE HEART.**

    ---

⑦ PERHAPS THE MOST DANGEROUS EXCUSE—“I'M NOT CONVICTED.”

    Sometimes that is sincere.

    Conscience must never be forced.

    But sometimes:

    “I'M NOT CONVICTED”

    really means:

“I DON'T WANT TO INVESTIGATE THIS DEEPLY ENOUGH TO BECOME CONVICTED.”

    Jesus reveals a searching principle:

“If any man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine.” — John 7:17

    Notice the order:

    WILLINGNESS → UNDERSTANDING → OBEDIENCE.

    Before asking,

    “Is this really required?”

    ask:

“LORD, IF YOUR WORD SHOWS ME THAT I AM WRONG—AM I WILLING TO CHANGE?”

That question exposes whether we want truth—

    or merely reassurance.

    ---

⑧ BUT HERE IS THE DANGER ON THE OTHER SIDE—REFORM WITHOUT CHRIST

    Inspiration defines genuine reformation:

“Reformation signifies a reorganization, a change in ideas and theories, habits and practices.” — Selected Messages, vol. 1, p. 128

    Truth must reach:

    the calendar,
    the kitchen,
    the wardrobe,
    the temper,
    the address,
    the tongue,
    and the choices nobody sees.

“Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only.” — James 1:22

    But never miss this:

REFORMATION WITHOUT CHRIST CAN PRODUCE A PHARISEE.

    You can keep Sabbath—

    and hate your brother.

    Eat perfectly—

    and feed on pride.

    Dress modestly—

    and advertise self-righteousness.

    Move to the country—

    and take worldliness with you.

    Guard your tongue publicly—

    while bitterness rules privately.

Jesus did not come merely to rearrange our habits.

HE CAME TO RECREATE OUR HEARTS.

“Without Me ye can do nothing.” — John 15:5

    ---

    THE QUESTION BENEATH EVERY REFORM

    When Christ touches your—

    TIME—will He be Lord?

    APPETITE—will He be Lord?

    APPEARANCE—will He be Lord?

    CHARACTER—will He be Lord?

    LOCATION—will He be Lord?

    TONGUE—will He be Lord?

    There it is.

DOES JESUS HAVE PERMISSION TO CHANGE EVERYTHING?

“If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” — Luke 9:23

Perhaps we do not need another argument.

    Perhaps we need another surrender.

    Instead of continually praying:

    “LORD, GIVE ME MORE LIGHT,”

    perhaps we need to pray:

“LORD, FORGIVE ME FOR RESISTING THE LIGHT I ALREADY HAVE.”

    Take my appetite.

    Take my pride.

    Take my temper.

    Take my tongue.

    Take my plans.

    Take my home.

    TAKE MY WHOLE HEART.

“Lord, what wilt Thou have me to do?” — Acts 9:6

    NO MORE EXCUSES.
    NO MORE BARGAINING WITH LIGHT.
NO MORE TRYING TO OUTREASON GOD.

    CHRIST BEFORE CONVENIENCE.
    FAITH BEFORE FEAR.
    TRUTH BEFORE TRADITION.
    SURRENDER BEFORE SELF.

Because when Jesus truly becomes Lord—

REFORMATION IS NO LONGER SOMETHING GOD MUST FORCE FROM US.

IT BECOMES SOMETHING LOVE IS WILLING TO SURRENDER TO HIM.
Daily Bible Lesson. WE ASK GOD FOR MORE LIGHT—THEN MAKE EXCUSES WHEN HIS LIGHT REQUIRES CHANGE “Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice.” — 1 Samuel 15:22 We pray: “Lord, show me Your will.” Then His light touches something we love— our time, appetite, appearance, character, location, or tongue— and suddenly: “My situation is different.” “Everyone does it.” “I'm not convicted.” Perhaps our greatest problem is not always lack of light. CLOTHING CANNOT SAVE THE HEART—BUT THE MASTER OF THE HEART WILL INFLUENCE THE CLOTHING. Let your appearance quietly testify: “I BELONG TO CHRIST.” --- ④ CHARACTER REFORM—“THAT'S JUST HOW I AM.” Perhaps no excuse protects cherished defects more effectively. Anger becomes “my personality.” Pride becomes “confidence.” Bitterness becomes “what they deserve.” Then comes the universal shield: “Nobody is perfect.” True. But Jesus never made imperfection an excuse for refusing transformation. “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 2:5 Christ does not merely forgive us in the old life. HE BEGINS MAKING US NEW. “When the character of Christ shall be perfectly reproduced in His people, then He will come to claim them as His own.” — Christ's Object Lessons, p. 69 Stop defending your defect with: “THAT'S WHO I AM.” Bring it to Jesus: “LORD, MAKE ME LIKE YOU.” --- ⑤ LOCATION REFORM—WHY DID INSPIRATION CRY, “OUT OF THE CITIES”? Here excuses become painfully practical: “My job is here.” “My children's opportunities are here.” “I'll move when everything becomes convenient.” Yet Inspiration repeatedly urged: “Out of the cities, out of the cities! This is the message the Lord has been giving me.” — Country Living, p. 29 Why? Not because soil saves souls. But country surroundings can favor health, simplicity, useful labor, children learning from nature, greater separation from corrupting influences, and preparation for difficult times. God's first home for humanity was not a congested metropolis. “The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden.” — Genesis 2:8 Abraham lived as a pilgrim. Lot “pitched his tent toward Sodom.” — Genesis 13:12 Their stories remind us: LOCATION CANNOT CONVERT THE HEART—BUT ENVIRONMENT CAN POWERFULLY INFLUENCE IT. Yet Inspiration also counseled: “Out of the cities; but not a moment before God would have us go.” — Country Living, p. 26 So the message is not: PANIC AND RUN. It is: PRAY. PREPARE. SIMPLIFY. LEARN. WATCH PROVIDENCE. AND WHEN GOD OPENS THE WAY—OBEY. And remember: YOU CAN LEAVE BABYLON GEOGRAPHICALLY WHILE BABYLON STILL LIVES IN YOUR HEART. Christ's first relocation project is: SELF OFF THE THRONE—CHRIST ON IT. --- ⑥ SPEECH REFORM—CAN A CONVERTED HEART KEEP AN UNCONVERTED TONGUE? Here the excuses sound innocent: “I'm only joking.” “But it's true!” “I just needed to release my feelings.” Scripture answers: “Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting… but rather giving of thanks.” — Ephesians 5:4 “Speak evil of no man.” — Titus 3:2 And instead: “That which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” — Ephesians 4:29 Imagine that standard: WORDS THAT MINISTER GRACE. No gossip. No slander. No degrading jesting. No cutting sarcasm. No dishonest flattery. No spreading bitterness from heart to heart. “Bless, and curse not.” — Romans 12:14 This does not mean hiding wrongdoing. Jesus rebuked sin. Nathan confronted David. Paul corrected churches. Truth sometimes must hurt before it heals. But Scripture says: “Speaking the truth in love.” — Ephesians 4:15 Before speaking, ask: IS IT TRUE? IS IT NECESSARY? IS IT LOVING? WILL IT BUILD RATHER THAN POISON? WOULD I SAY IT THIS WAY IN THE VISIBLE PRESENCE OF JESUS? “Let the law of kindness be upon your lips and the oil of grace in your heart.” — Christ's Object Lessons, p. 337 What a standard: **TRUTH ON THE LIPS. GRACE IN THE HEART.** --- ⑦ PERHAPS THE MOST DANGEROUS EXCUSE—“I'M NOT CONVICTED.” Sometimes that is sincere. Conscience must never be forced. But sometimes: “I'M NOT CONVICTED” really means: “I DON'T WANT TO INVESTIGATE THIS DEEPLY ENOUGH TO BECOME CONVICTED.” Jesus reveals a searching principle: “If any man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine.” — John 7:17 Notice the order: WILLINGNESS → UNDERSTANDING → OBEDIENCE. Before asking, “Is this really required?” ask: “LORD, IF YOUR WORD SHOWS ME THAT I AM WRONG—AM I WILLING TO CHANGE?” That question exposes whether we want truth— or merely reassurance. --- ⑧ BUT HERE IS THE DANGER ON THE OTHER SIDE—REFORM WITHOUT CHRIST Inspiration defines genuine reformation: “Reformation signifies a reorganization, a change in ideas and theories, habits and practices.” — Selected Messages, vol. 1, p. 128 Truth must reach: the calendar, the kitchen, the wardrobe, the temper, the address, the tongue, and the choices nobody sees. “Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only.” — James 1:22 But never miss this: REFORMATION WITHOUT CHRIST CAN PRODUCE A PHARISEE. You can keep Sabbath— and hate your brother. Eat perfectly— and feed on pride. Dress modestly— and advertise self-righteousness. Move to the country— and take worldliness with you. Guard your tongue publicly— while bitterness rules privately. Jesus did not come merely to rearrange our habits. HE CAME TO RECREATE OUR HEARTS. “Without Me ye can do nothing.” — John 15:5 --- THE QUESTION BENEATH EVERY REFORM When Christ touches your— TIME—will He be Lord? APPETITE—will He be Lord? APPEARANCE—will He be Lord? CHARACTER—will He be Lord? LOCATION—will He be Lord? TONGUE—will He be Lord? There it is. DOES JESUS HAVE PERMISSION TO CHANGE EVERYTHING? “If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” — Luke 9:23 Perhaps we do not need another argument. Perhaps we need another surrender. Instead of continually praying: “LORD, GIVE ME MORE LIGHT,” perhaps we need to pray: “LORD, FORGIVE ME FOR RESISTING THE LIGHT I ALREADY HAVE.” Take my appetite. Take my pride. Take my temper. Take my tongue. Take my plans. Take my home. TAKE MY WHOLE HEART. “Lord, what wilt Thou have me to do?” — Acts 9:6 NO MORE EXCUSES. NO MORE BARGAINING WITH LIGHT. NO MORE TRYING TO OUTREASON GOD. CHRIST BEFORE CONVENIENCE. FAITH BEFORE FEAR. TRUTH BEFORE TRADITION. SURRENDER BEFORE SELF. Because when Jesus truly becomes Lord— REFORMATION IS NO LONGER SOMETHING GOD MUST FORCE FROM US. IT BECOMES SOMETHING LOVE IS WILLING TO SURRENDER TO HIM.

  • MEANING OF SACKCLOTH AND ASHES.

Sackcloth and ashes originates from biblical texts and is used to symbolize:
    MOURNING,(*Deep sorrow and grief)
    REPENTANCE, (*Desire to change)
AND HUMILITY.(*Humbled to Father in shame)

Wearing sackcloth, is uncomfortable and course fabric. Usually made from goats hair. Sitting in ashes were traditional practices during times of great spiritual and physical distress or showing their penance for sins.

In the Bible, figures such as Job and the people of Israel used sackcloth and ashes to express their sorrow and seek forgiveness from Father. This showed a deep sense of remorse and the desire to turn away from their iniquity.

These biblical stories of mourning, repentance, and humility show someone who is experiencing regret for transgressions by taking responsibility for their actions, and bowing down to the heavenly Father. Demonstrating the act of being nothing but dirty ashes. Burnt up and consumed with the trials and tribulation of this life.

    REPENTANCE OF NINEVEH
    (Jonah 3:5-6)
When Jonah prophesies the destruction of Nineveh, the king and the people respond by donning sackcloth and sitting in ashes as a sign of repentance.

    THE PEOPLE OF NINEVEH BELIEVE

    Jonah 3:5-10 KJV

1 SO THE PEOPLE OF NINEVEH
    Believed God,
    And proclaimed a fast,
    And put on SACKCLOTH,
    From the greatest of them
Even to the least of them.

    6 FOR WORD CAME
    UNTO THE KING OF NINEVEH,
And he arose from his throne,
And he laid his robe from him,
    And covered him with SACKCLOTH,
    And sat in ASHES.

7 AND HE CAUSED IT TO BE PROCLAIMED
    And published through Nineveh
By the decree of the king and his nobles,
Saying, Let neither man nor beast,
Herd nor flock, taste any thing:
Let them not feed, nor drink water:

8 BUT LET MAN AND BEAST
    Be covered with SACKCLOTH,
    And cry mightily unto God:
Yea, let them turn every one
From his evil way, and from the violence
    That is in their hands.

9 WHO CAN TELL IF GOD WILL TURN
    AND REPENT,
And turn away from his fierce anger,
    That we perish not?

10 AND GOD SAW THEIR WORKS,
    That they turned from their evil way;
And God repented of the evil,
    That he had said
    That he would Do unto them;
    And he did it not.

    KING DAVID MOURNS
    (2 Samuel 12:16-17)
After the death of his child, with Besthsheba, David fasts and mourns, emphasizing humility and sorrow. The child was born through adultery and murder. God did not let it live.

    THE DEATH OF DAVID’S SON

    2 Samuel 12:15-23 KJV

    15 AND NATHAN DEPARTED
    Unto his house.
And the Lord struck the child
That Uriah's wife bare unto David,
    And it was very sick.

    16 DAVID THEREFORE BESOUGHT GOD
    For the child;
    And David fasted,
    And went in,
And lay all night upon the earth.

    17 AND THE ELDERS
    OF HIS HOUSE AROSE,
    And went to him,
To raise him up from the earth:
    But he would not,
Neither did he eat bread with them.

18 AND IT CAME TO PASS
    On the seventh day,
    That the child died.
    And the servants of David
Feared to tell him that the child was dead:
    For they said, Behold,
While the child was yet alive,
    We spake unto him,
And he would not hearken unto our voice:
How will he then vex himself,
If we tell him that the child is dead?

    19 BUT WHEN DAVID SAW
    That his servants whispered,
David perceived that the child was dead:
Therefore David said unto his servants,
    Is the child dead?
And they said, He is dead.

20 THEN DAVID AROSE FROM THE EARTH,
    And washed, and anointed himself,
    And changed his apparel,
And came into the house of the Lord,
    And worshipped:
    Then he came to his own house;
    And when he required,
    They set bread before him,
    And he did eat.

21 THEN SAID HIS SERVANTS UNTO HIM,
What thing is this that thou hast done?
Thou didst fast and weep for the child,
    While it was alive;
But when the child was dead,
Thou didst rise and eat bread.

    22 AND HE SAID,
While the child was yet alive,
    I fasted and wept:
    For I said,
    Who can tell whether God
    Will be gracious to
me, that the child may live?

23 BUT NOW HE IS DEAD,
    Wherefore should I fast?
Can I bring him back again?
    I shall go to him,
But he shall not return to me.

    QUEEN ESTHER'S PLEA
    (Esther 4)
Esther asks the Jews to fast and wear sackcloth as they seek deliverance from impending doom.

ESTHER AGREES TO HELP THE JEWS

    Esther 4 KJV

    1 WHEN MORDECAI PERCEIVED
    All that was done,
    Mordecai rent his clothes,
And put on sackcloth with ashes,
And went out into the midst of the city,
    And cried with a loud and a bitter cry;

    2 AND CAME EVEN
    BEFORE THE KING'S GATE:
For none might enter into the king's gate
    Clothed with sackcloth.

    3 AND IN EVERY PROVINCE,
    Whithersoever the king's commandment
    And his decree came,
    There was great mourning
    Among the Jews,
    And fasting,
    And weeping,
    And wailing;
And many lay in sackcloth and ashes.

    4 SO ESTHER'S MAIDS
    And her chamberlains
    Came and told it her.
    Then was the queen exceedingly grieved;
And she sent raiment to clothe Mordecai,
And to take away his sackcloth from him:
    But he received it not.

5 THEN CALLED ESTHER FOR HATACH,
    One of the king's chamberlains,
    Whom he had appointed
    To attend upon her,
    And gave him a commandment
    To Mordecai,
    To know what it was,
    And why it was.

    6 SO HATACH WENT FORTH
    TO MORDECAI
Unto the street of the city,
Which was before the king's gate.

7 AND MORDECAI TOLD HIM OF ALL
    That had happened unto him,
And of the sum of the money
    That Haman had promised
To pay to the king's treasuries for the Jews,
    To destroy them.

8 ALSO HE GAVE HIM THE COPY
Of the writing of the decree
    That was given at Shushan
    To destroy them,
    To shew it unto Esther,
And to declare it unto her,
And to charge her that she should go
    In unto the king,
    To make supplication unto him,
And to make request before him
    For her people.

    9 AND HATACH CAME
And told Esther the words of Mordecai.

    10 AGAINST ESTHER
    SPAKE UNTO HATACH,
    And gave him commandment
    Unto Mordecai;

    11 ALL THE KING'S SERVANTS,
And the people of the king's provinces,
    Do know, that whosoever,
    Whether man or women,
    Shall come unto the king
    Into the inner court,
    Who is not called,
There is one law of his to put him to death,
Except such to whom the king
Shall hold out the golden sceptre,
    That he may live:
But I have not been called to come in
Unto the king these thirty days.

12 AND THEY TOLD TO MORDECAI
    Esther's words.

    13 THEN MORDECAI COMMANDED
    To answer Esther,
    Think not with thyself
    That thou shalt escape
    In the king's house,
    More than all the Jews.

    14 FOR IF THOU ALTOGETHER
Holdest thy peace at this time,
    Then shall there enlargement
    And deliverance
    Arise to the Jews from another place;
But thou and thy father's house
    Shall be destroyed:
And who knoweth whether thou art come
To the kingdom for such a time as this?

    15 THEN ESTHER BADE THEM
    Return Mordecai this answer,

16 GO, GATHER TOGETHER ALL THE JEWS
    That are present in Shushan,
    And fast ye for me,
And neither eat nor drink three days,
    Night or day:
    I also and my maidens will fast likewise;
And so will I go in unto the king,
Which is not according to the law:
And if I perish, I perish.

17 SO MORDECAI WENT HIS WAY,
    And did according to all
    That Esther had commanded him.

    PROPHET JEREMIAH
    (Jeremiah 6:26)
Jeremiah calls for mourning in Israel, invoking sackcloth as a sign of sorrow for sin.

    IMPENDING DESTRUCTION FROM THE NORTH

    Jeremiah 6:16-30 KJV

    16 THUS SAITH THE LORD,
Stand ye in the ways, and see,
And ask for the old paths,
Where is the good way, and walk therein,
And ye shall find rest for your souls.
    But they said,
    We will not walk therein.

17 ALSO I SET WATCHMEN OVER YOU,
    Saying,
Hearken to the sound of the trumpet.
    But they said,
    We will not hearken.

    18 THEREFORE HEAR,
    Ye nations, and know,
    O congregation,
    What is among them.

    19 HEARKEN, O EARTH:
    BEHOLD,
I will bring evil upon this people,
Even the fruit of their thoughts,
    Because they have not hearkened
Unto my words, nor to my law,
    But rejected it.

20 TO WHAT PURPOSE COMETH THERE
    To me incense from Sheba,
And the sweet cane from a far country?
Your burnt offerings are not acceptable,
Nor your sacrifices sweet unto me.

21 THEREFORE THUS SAITH THE LORD,
    BEHOLD,
    I will lay stumblingblocks
    Before this people,
And the fathers and the sons together
    Shall fall upon them;
The neighbour and his friend shall perish.

    22 THUS SAITH THE LORD,
    BEHOLD,
A people cometh from the north country,
And a great nation shall be raised
From the sides of the earth.

    23 THEY SHALL LAY HOLD
    ON BOW AND SPEAR;
    They are cruel, and have no mercy;
    Their voice roareth like the sea;
    And they ride upon horses,
Set in array as men for war against thee,
    O daughter of Zion.

24 WE HAVE HEARD THE FAME THEREOF:
    Our hands wax feeble:
Anguish hath taken hold of us, and pain,
As of a woman in travail.

25 GO NOT FORTH INTO THE FIELD,
    Nor walk by the way;
For the sword of the enemy
And fear is on every side.

26 O DAUGHTER OF MY PEOPLE,
    Gird thee with sackcloth,
    And wallow thyself in ashes:
Make thee mourning, as for an only son,
    Most bitter lamentation:
    For the spoiler shall suddenly
    Come upon us.

27 I HAVE SET THEE FOR A TOWER
And a fortress among my people,
That thou mayest know and try their way.

28 THEY ARE ALL GRIEVOUS REVOLTERS,
    Walking with slanders:
    They are brass and iron;
    They are all corrupters.

    29 THE BELLOWS ARE BURNED,
    The lead is consumed of the fire;
    The founder melteth in vain:
For the wicked are not plucked away.

    30 REPROBATE SILVER
    Shall men call them,
Because the Lord hath rejected them.

    THE ISRAELITES
    (Isaiah 15:3, Micah 1:10)
Throughout the books of the prophets, sackcloth is often mentioned as part of national mourning or individual repentance.

    JUDGMENT ON ISRAEL AND JUDAH

    Micah 1 KJV

1 THE WORD OF THE LORD
    That came to Micah
The Morasthite in the days of Jotham,
Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah,
    Which he saw concerning Samaria
    And Jerusalem.

    2 HEAR, ALL YE PEOPLE;
    Hearken, O earth,
    And all that therein is:
    And let the Lord God
    Be witness against you,
The Lord from his holy temple.

    3 FOR, BEHOLD
    The Lord cometh forth
    Out of His place,
    And will come down,
    And tread upon
The high places of the earth.

    4 AND THE MOUNTAINS
    Shall be molten
    Under him,
And the valleys shall be cleft,
    As wax before the fire,
And as the waters that are poured down
    A steep place.

    5 FOR THE TRANSGRESSION
    Of Jacob is all this,
And for the sins of the house of Israel.
What is the transgression of Jacob?
    Is it not Samaria?
And what are the high places of Judah?
    Are they not Jerusalem?

6 THEREFORE I WILL MAKE SAMARIA
As an heap of the field,
And as plantings of a vineyard:
    And I will pour down
The stones thereof into the valley,
And I will discover the foundations thereof.

7 AND ALL THE GRAVEN IMAGES
    THEREOF
    Shall be beaten to pieces,
    And all the hires thereof
Shall be burned with the fire,
And all the idols thereof will I lay desolate:
For she gathered it of the hire of an harlot,
    And they shall return to
    THE HIRE OF AN HARLOT.

8 THEREFORE I WILL WAIL AND HOWL,
I will go stripped and naked:
I will make a wailing like the dragons,
    And mourning as the owls.

    9 FOR HER WOUND IS INCURABLE;
    For it is come unto Judah;
He is come unto the gate of my people,
    Even to Jerusalem.

10 DECLARE YE IT NOT AT GATH,
    Weep ye not at all:
    In the house of Aphrah
    Roll thyself in the dust.

    11 PASS YE AWAY,
    Thou inhabitant of Saphir,
    Having thy shame naked:
The inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth
    In the mourning of Bethezel;
He shall receive of you his standing.

12 FOR THE INHABITANT OF MAROTH
    Waited carefully for good:
But evil came down from the Lord
    Unto the gate of Jerusalem.

13 O THOU INHABITANT OF LACHISH,
Vind the chariot to the swift beast:
She is the beginning of the sin
    To the daughter of Zion:
    For the transgressions of Israel
    Were found in thee.

    14 THEREFORE SHALT THOU GIVE
    Presents to Moreshethgath:
    The houses of Achzib
Shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.

15 YET WILL I BRING AN HEIR UNTO THEE,
    O inhabitant of Mareshah:
    He shall come unto Adullam
    THE GLORY OF ISRAEL.

    16 MAKE THEE BALD,
    And poll thee for thy delicate children;
    Enlarge thy baldness as the eagle;
For they are gone into captivity from thee.

The significance of sackcloth and ashes in the Bible, demonstrates moments of deep emotional strive and the desire to reconcile with The Father.

    The 2 witnesses come teaching
sackcloth and ashes. They are described as prophetic figures who proclaim God's message during the end times.

    The Two Witnesses (Revelation 11:3-6)
As having the power to prophesy for 1,260 days while clothed in sackcloth.(*shortened by Christ in Matthew 24:22-24/ Revelation 9 to 150 days. The 7 years given to Satan was deduced to those 5 months/140 days.
The 2 Witnesses time was given in days and when shortened to days they are given about a week longer to prepare and warn the house of Isreal.)

    THE TWO WITNESSES

    Revelation 11 KJV

1 AND THERE WAS GIVEN ME A REED
Like unto a rod: and the angel stood,
    Saying, Rise, and measure
    The temple of God,
    And the altar,
    And them that worship therein.

    2 BUT THE COURT
Which is without the temple leave out,
    And measure it not;
For it is given unto the Gentiles:
And the holy city shall they tread
Under foot forty and two months.

(*Shortened by Christ, Matthew24, to 5 months of Revelation 9, for the elections sake, so they could stand.)

3 AND I WILL GIVE POWER
    Unto my TWO witnesses,
    And they shall prophesy
    A thousand two hundred
    And threescore days,
    Clothed in sackcloth.(*Repentance)

4 THESE ARE THE TWO OLIVE TREES,
    And the two candlesticks
Standing before the God of the earth.

5 AND IF ANY MAN WILL HURT THEM,
Fire proceedeth out of their mouth,
    And devoureth their enemies:
And if any man will hurt them,
He must in this manner be killed.

6 THESE HAVE POWER TO SHUT HEAVEN,
    That it rain not
In the days of their prophecy:
    And have power over waters
    To turn them to blood,
And to smite the earth with all plagues,
    As often as they will.

    THE WITNESSES KILLED

7 AND WHEN THEY SHALL HAVE FINISHED
    Their testimony,
    The beast that ascendeth out
    Of the bottomless pit(*Abbadon, Appolyon)
    Shall make war against them,
    And shall overcome them,
    And kill them.

    8 AND THEIR DEAD BODIES
Shall lie in the street of the great city,
    Which spiritually is called
    Sodom and Egypt,
Where also our Lord was crucified.

9 AND THEY OF THE PEOPLE
    And kindreds
    And tongues
And nations shall see their dead bodies
    Three days and an half,
And shall not suffer their dead bodies
    To be put in graves.

    10 AND THEY THAT DWELL
    UPON THE EARTH
    Shall rejoice over them,
    And make merry,
    And shall send gifts one to another;
    Because these TWO prophets
Tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

    THE WITNESSES RESURRECTED

11 AND AFTER THREE DAYS AND AN HALF
The spirit of life from God
    Entered into them,
    And they stood upon their feet;
And great fear fell upon them
    Which saw them.

12 AND THEY HEARD A GREAT VOICE
    From heaven saying unto them,
    Come up hither.
    And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud;
    And their enemies beheld them.

13 AND THE SAME HOUR WAS THERE
    A great earthquake,
And the tenth part of the city fell,
    And in the earthquake
Were slain of men SEVEN THOUSAND:
    And the remnant
    Were affrighted,
And gave glory to the God of heaven.

(*The 7000 fallen angels that take over the government's of the world with their new world order will die forever.)

    14 THE SECOND WOE IS PAST;
    And, behold,
    The third woe cometh quickly.

Sackcloth is a symbol of humility and sorrow, indicating their role as prophets of repentance in a time of great tribulation of the apostasy of God's people. The sackcloth worn by the Two Witnesses provokes their somber mission, calling for the repentance of the nations and pointing out their eminent demise.

The 2 serve as messengers of God's judgment, calling people to repentance. They are granted the power to perform miraculous signs, such as shutting the sky to prevent rain and turning waters into blood, emphasizing their authority as God's representatives.

After their testimony, they are killed, signifying the rejection of their message. Like that of Jesus message they will lay in the street 3 days and half. They are later resurrected and taken up to heaven, symbolizing the ultimate vindication of God's

And the servants of David Feared to tell him that the child was dead: For they said, Behold, While the child was yet alive, We spake unto him, And he would not hearken unto our voice: How will he then vex himself, If we tell him that the child is dead? 19 BUT WHEN DAVID SAW That his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: Therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? Thou didst fast and weep for the child, While it was alive; But when the child was dead, Thou didst rise and eat bread. 22 AND HE SAID, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: For I said, Who can tell whether God Will be gracious to me, that the child may live? 23 BUT NOW HE IS DEAD, Wherefore should I fast? Can I bring him back again? But they said, We will not walk therein. 17 ALSO I SET WATCHMEN OVER YOU, Saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken. 18 THEREFORE HEAR, Ye nations, and know, O congregation, What is among them. 19 HEARKEN, O EARTH: BEHOLD, I will bring evil upon this people, Even the fruit of their thoughts, Because they have not hearkened Unto my words, nor to my law, But rejected it. 20 TO WHAT PURPOSE COMETH THERE To me incense from Sheba, And the sweet cane from a far country? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable, Nor your sacrifices sweet unto me. 21 THEREFORE THUS SAITH THE LORD, BEHOLD, I will lay stumblingblocks Before this people, And the fathers and the sons together Shall fall upon them; The neighbour and his friend shall perish. 22 THUS SAITH THE LORD, BEHOLD, A people cometh from the north country, And a great nation shall be raised From the sides of the earth. 23 THEY SHALL LAY HOLD ON BOW AND SPEAR; They are cruel, and have no mercy; Their voice roareth like the sea; And they ride upon horses, Set in array as men for war against thee, O daughter of Zion. 24 WE HAVE HEARD THE FAME THEREOF: Our hands wax feeble: Anguish hath taken hold of us, and pain, As of a woman in travail. 25 GO NOT FORTH INTO THE FIELD, Nor walk by the way; For the sword of the enemy And fear is on every side. 26 O DAUGHTER OF MY PEOPLE, Gird thee with sackcloth, And wallow thyself in ashes: Make thee mourning, as for an only son, Most bitter lamentation: For the spoiler shall suddenly Come upon us. 27 I HAVE SET THEE FOR A TOWER And a fortress among my people, That thou mayest know and try their way. 28 THEY ARE ALL GRIEVOUS REVOLTERS, Walking with slanders: They are brass and iron; They are all corrupters. 29 THE BELLOWS ARE BURNED, The lead is consumed of the fire; The founder melteth in vain: For the wicked are not plucked away. 30 REPROBATE SILVER Shall men call them, Because the Lord hath rejected them. 👉THE ISRAELITES (Isaiah 15:3, Micah 1:10) Throughout the books of the prophets, sackcloth is often mentioned as part of national mourning or individual repentance. What is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Are they not Jerusalem? 6 THEREFORE I WILL MAKE SAMARIA As an heap of the field, And as plantings of a vineyard: And I will pour down The stones thereof into the valley, And I will discover the foundations thereof. 7 AND ALL THE GRAVEN IMAGES THEREOF Shall be beaten to pieces, And all the hires thereof Shall be burned with the fire, And all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: For she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, And they shall return to THE HIRE OF AN HARLOT. 8 THEREFORE I WILL WAIL AND HOWL, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, And mourning as the owls. 9 FOR HER WOUND IS INCURABLE; For it is come unto Judah; He is come unto the gate of my people, Even to Jerusalem. 10 DECLARE YE IT NOT AT GATH, Weep ye not at all: In the house of Aphrah Roll thyself in the dust. 11 PASS YE AWAY, Thou inhabitant of Saphir, Having thy shame naked: The inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth In the mourning of Bethezel; He shall receive of you his standing. 12 FOR THE INHABITANT OF MAROTH Waited carefully for good: But evil came down from the Lord Unto the gate of Jerusalem. 13 O THOU INHABITANT OF LACHISH, Vind the chariot to the swift beast: She is the beginning of the sin To the daughter of Zion: For the transgressions of Israel Were found in thee. 14 THEREFORE SHALT THOU GIVE Presents to Moreshethgath: The houses of Achzib Shall be a lie to the kings of Israel. 15 YET WILL I BRING AN HEIR UNTO THEE, O inhabitant of Mareshah: He shall come unto Adullam THE GLORY OF ISRAEL. 16 MAKE THEE BALD, And poll thee for thy delicate children; Enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; For they are gone into captivity from thee. 🔥The significance of sackcloth and ashes in the Bible, demonstrates moments of deep emotional strive and the desire to reconcile with The Father. 👉The 2 witnesses come teaching sackcloth and ashes. They are described as prophetic figures who proclaim God's message during the end times. The 7 years given to Satan was deduced to those 5 months/140 days. The 2 Witnesses time was given in days and when shortened to days they are given about a week longer to prepare and warn the house of Isreal.) THE TWO WITNESSES Revelation 11 KJV 1 AND THERE WAS GIVEN ME A REED Like unto a rod: and the angel stood, Saying, Rise, and measure The temple of God, And the altar, And them that worship therein. 2 BUT THE COURT Which is without the temple leave out, And measure it not; For it is given unto the Gentiles: And the holy city shall they tread Under foot forty and two months. THE WITNESSES KILLED 7 AND WHEN THEY SHALL HAVE FINISHED Their testimony, The beast that ascendeth out Of the bottomless pit(*Abbadon, Appolyon) Shall make war against them, And shall overcome them, And kill them. 8 AND THEIR DEAD BODIES Shall lie in the street of the great city, Which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, Where also our Lord was crucified. 9 AND THEY OF THE PEOPLE And kindreds And tongues And nations shall see their dead bodies Three days and an half, And shall not suffer their dead bodies To be put in graves. 10 AND THEY THAT DWELL UPON THE EARTH Shall rejoice over them, And make merry, And shall send gifts one to another; Because these TWO prophets Tormented them that dwelt on the earth. THE WITNESSES RESURRECTED 11 AND AFTER THREE DAYS AND AN HALF The spirit of life from God Entered into them, And they stood upon their feet; And great fear fell upon them Which saw them. 12 AND THEY HEARD A GREAT VOICE From heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; And their enemies beheld them. 13 AND THE SAME HOUR WAS THERE A great earthquake, And the tenth part of the city fell, And in the earthquake Were slain of men SEVEN THOUSAND: And the remnant Were affrighted, And gave glory to the God of heaven.
